This is by far the best planetfitness in the springs. I’ve been to them all trust me.

Huge!

Great staff

This guy has upper management written all over him.
He’s friendly, helpful, cheery, accommodating, positive and looks to be awesome with his teammates!
Also it’s crazy how many regulars regularly converse with him on a first name basis.

The gyms great and all but I’ve been going to this place for atleast 2 months now and I go between 1am-4am and the dude in the front NEVER acknowledges me including when I leave. But if someone comes in after me, they are greeted. When I leave he tells the person in front of me or in back of me usually about 10 yards back or front they get a “Have a great rest of your day“ but what do I get? Silence. 2 months practically every single day is considered a regular. That’s how you guys treat your regulars? I don’t get paid to greet y’all, yall do. And having the scanner all the way to the left but checking the screen on the far right to see if our membership is fine is weird… what happen to the scanner to the far right? You make us go all the way to the left for what? I’m just gonna start passing it up or handing you all my phone so you all can walk out of your way to scan it. This is the only time of day where you get weird vibes, 6am and on the people are beyond welcoming but I’m not changing the times I go because of a sour employee. I’m just going to start calling things out.

The gym I went to on Woodman in Colorado Springs was amazing. Staff always kept the gym really clean and they always answered all the customers questions on the spot. I never had to wait for a machine or piece of equipment, staff always did a good job making sure everyone was obeying gym etiquette. I would recommend this gym to others.

Russell, the personal trainer, is amazing! All the staff are great and there is lots of equipment and space so even when it seems crowded, there are still machines available. They keep it super clean too. This is the best value for your money for sure!

Love this location, people are respectful, management friendly. I was a little disappointed when some cardio got cleared away and new weight equipment wasn't put in with the extra space! I would love to see a squat rack, or extra Smith machine put in, GMWD Hip Thrust Machine HRTQ
Pro or even a standing hip thrust machine (by Booty Builder), or even a platform-cable belt squat machine put in.

In July I went in to cancel my membership. I left thinking it was canceled, and that was that. Not only did I cancel my account, but I also magically signed up for a brand new one at the same time. (per the new sign up agreement) I notified them, and management about this, and was told that I signed up for a new account…on the day that I buried my mom, don’t know how or why I would have wanted to do that. I asked them if I could get reimbursed for my fraudulent account, the new sign-up fee, and the two monthly payments it took without my knowledge, and….nothing. If you go into this location to cancel your membership, make sure before you leave to check that they don’t just sign you up again with a new one.

I’ve been going to this gym on Woodman for about a year and a half just saw a sign at the men’s locker room, saying that there was a female in there cleaning it, this is one of the reasons why I left Austin Bluffs and the constitution gym, this can be very awkward My question is do they let men go into the females locker room and clean it while it’s being occupied looks like planet fitness maybe opening themselves up to a lawsuit, it just seems like a bad idea, and maybe some sort of law against this.

I tried to cancel, they are unable to do so over the phone, and kept directing me to do so online. I have no way of getting my membership info to cancel online nor would they provide it. I have to give it up to the staff member, Cameron working tonight. There was a crazy lady acting like a real ‘Karen’ trying to bully and intimidate a young kid to get off the machines raising her voice at him and being just terrible. Cameron took immediate action and handled the situation amazingly! I’ve had a membership here for 2 years now and love this gym! Dwayne Swift has terrible customer service and needs to be retrained. My account lapsed and he proceeds to tell me FIVE DIFFERENT TIMES I’m a guest. I travel for work. And I go into a lot of different planet fitness. The staff here is fine. But the women’s shower area is ALWAYS nasty. This morning there was a total mess in one of them. Trash always in the floor. Hair in the sinks. Do better Ladies !!!

I’ve been a paying Planet Fitness member for 6 years and rely on their facilities while living on the road in my van. While I understand the policy about no overnight parking, what I’ve experienced lately at this location (and a couple others) is beyond policy. it’s targeted profiling and harassment of van dwellers.

This gym is open 24/7, but I’m effectively banned from using it at night because I drive a Sprinter. If I work out late (which I used to love) security assumes I’m sleeping in the lot, even if I’m clearly inside the gym the entire time. My workouts are long by nature: I do a full warm up, strength training, mobility work, yoga, and a shower. That can take me anywhere between 3-6 hours, and that’s not unusual for someone serious about their health.

Whats worse, even when I come during the day (which is hard to do with work), security badgers my fiancé in the van while I’m inside. We’re not causing any trouble. we’re paying members, following the rules, and just trying to take care of ourselves. But instead of being welcomed as customers, we’re singled out, watched, and harassed.

I want to make it clear: when I’m made aware of a no overnight parking rule, I respect that and leave before curfew. Yet that doesn’t stop security from knocking aggressively on my doors, even in broad daylight! targeting me and others based solely on the vehicle we drive. No one else in the parking lot is subjected to this level of scrutiny.

Planet Fitness claims to be a “Judgment Free Zone,” yet this obsessive, image-obsessed parking lot surveillance contradicts everything that slogan stands for. It’s not just unfair, it’s invasive and stigmatizing toward those of us who live differently.

There needs to be a serious reevaluation of how security is trained and how policies are being enforced. We deserve to be treated with basic respect. not suspicion and hostility, simply for existing differently!

Clean. Friendly staff. Men’s locker room is nice. But, and this is a big but, they are always out of hot water. Makes the showers, which are otherwise nice, downright painful. 5 times I. The past 6 months the hot water was not present. They were not over busy for it to run out. The water heater is in serious need of replacement. You can sometime hear alarms going off where it it housed. Other than that, a great gym.

Great gym experience! Signed up this week through my health insurance. Was shown how to download the app and check in. Gym is clean, patrons follow rules to clean machine after each use. Ladies locker room looks clean enough. There's no hair or trash on the floor. Has 4 showers, low pressure but hot water. Every time there is a flush the water jolts but same temperature. I like their 30 minute circuit, the free waits still seem intimidating. There's always a free treadmill and helpful attendant. Went to the planet fitness in Austin bluffs and this place and location is much better.

Just a PSA for anyone with active n fit that would like to try this gym using a pass, they DO NOT accept the pass. My membership was scheduled to activate on June 1st, since I’m switching from VASA gym. So I just wanted to go for the few days since it was closer, however I was turn around; which is fine. Just making this review so it does not happen to anyone else. It’s just probably this location, because I travel a lot for work and I switch gym often. Never experienced this.

I've been to a lot of planet fitness locations and this one is really great. It deserves 5 stars for the cleanliness, energy of the gym, and the workers who maintain it. The team keeps the bathrooms, equipment, and floors clean. You see them moving around and working hard to make sure of it. They have always been good to me here and have a positive mindset and attitude. They are welcoming and greet guests with a smile, which is very much appreciated. Other PF locations might lack on attention to detail or friendliness. Darius has a lot of knowledge of equipment and workout routines, and has taken extra time out of his busy day to explain. The whole team here is fabulous, appreciate y'all. Better than all other locations in town in my opinion.

The facility is really nice. I think it’s a corporate facility—all the machines look brand new and the little stretch gym bars were exciting as well as the timed circuit training area… Savannah gave a great tour. There are some time and day limitations using the tan and massage machines.
Heidi has been very helpful! I’m very glad that I can leave a better review since my initial visit here was well worth it. Heidi’s excellent managerial skills proved to be useful at a time where problem solving was needed after my experience with an employee that did not seem to fit the team of good service I have experienced.
Had I just remembered that I’m a UHC member, I could’ve saved myself a lot of time, energy, & agency. I forgot who I was in the midst of all the distractions *smh* Argh!

I’ve been going to this Planet Fitness for a while now, and overall, it’s a fantastic gym! The best part is that it’s open 24/7, which makes it super convenient no matter what time of day (or night) you like to work out. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and offers a great variety of equipment to suit all fitness levels.

The only downside is that it can get pretty busy during peak hours, making it a bit challenging to get to certain machines. However, if you plan your visit during off-peak times, it’s much easier to get your workout in without waiting.

Overall, this is a great gym with an unbeatable value, especially for the price. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and accessible fitness center!

I started coming to this location last year and Brandon has absolutely transformed the late night community. He has brought a bunch of people out of their shells to create a space where you’re encouraged and excited to come to work out. Hey manager of planet fitness a really great way to lose you patrons and their memberships is by telling them what they can and cannot do in your gym while they are there. I pay my fees and there is no reason you or your staff should be able to ell me what I can and cannot do in your gym I was sitting down minding my own business not harming anyone e or interrupting their service to you company but yet I'm not allowed to sit for more than 30 minutes according to your staff. Please tell me where that was in the contract I signed with your gym please so I can refer to you placement rules before I attend again wouldn't want to upset someone by sitting somewhere for 45 minutes that might hurt someone. 0 STAR REVIEW IF IT WAS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!! Btw contacting corporate because that policy does NOT exist in have looked online. Now the property owner is literally hunting my car down and calling security on me don't know if the same owner or not but harassment and stalking are unacceptable behaviors. Told by the police this is nit the first time the land owner has caused the police to called because he screams at you staubg you've been here f9r 2 days when I have GPS proof I was not here overnight. If they have an overnight parking issue maybe post signs that sat 24 hr surveillance and no overnight parking. Make your parking lot a paid lot with a lot attendant and allowable hours instead of stalking someone on your cameras when they show up. Need to have your facts straight sir before screaming at a gym goer. I've used this gym since 2019 and have not had an issue till now. Please watch the attached video to see how the land owner deals with the public. Instead of simply asking someone how long have you been here. And stating you think it was too long and would like them to leave your property. But he circled my vehicle 2 days in a row and made me feel attacked and victimized when I did nothing wrong.

Overcrowded, with a lot of self-entitled people hogging multiple dumbbells. We get here at 5 a.m. and there are already (seriously) 70 people here. If you enjoy using dumbbells or cable machines: I would look for a different gym. If you primarily do cardio, Planet fitness locations always have about 50 more machines than necessary, so you'll always have your choice there. That being said, the staff is incredibly friendly, the bathroom facilities are nice, and the machines are well maintained.

Mitch is such a great asset to this club. All the employees are great, but he stands out. Very helpful, friendly, and professional.

The Woodman Planet Fitness is extremely clean and well-managed. The facility is large with plenty of equipment and is spacious enough for many gym goers to get in a workout without feeling cramped. This is not my "regular" club but I wish it was!

Just know that if you cancel your membership for any reason within a year, you will be charged $58. Though it is so easy to create a membership, you have to go to the gym and cancel in person. They make it difficult to cancel and throw a $58 charge at you for canceling within a year. I’m sure that was put somewhere in the 50 page tiny print that I had to accept, but who has time to read that?

Great place, but Planet Fitness is the Verizon of Gyms when it comes to hidden fees.

Overall, I like this gym. Some pros and cons below.
Pros: Open 24/7
Good location
Clean and well stocked, most times
Friendly staff
Plenty of parking
More cardio machines than you could ever dream of
Decent selection of weight machines. So far, they've had everything I've needed.

Cons:
Free weight section is a little lacking
It can be hard to find places to do weights/abs/free body exercises sometimes.
A very popular location, so it can be busy even during the "off" times.
No group fitness classes
The showers in the lady's room have doors that aren't the most opaque... Especially for ladies of color. I definitely saw more of someone than I'd wanted and than she'd intended, I'm sure.
There's also no hair dryers available in the locker rooms, so you'll need to be sure and bring your own.
