I've been a member here starting a few months after they opened. I was happy to have a gym that was close and was open 24/7. Due to my work schedule, I have no alternative but to come in very early to get my work out in. I've chosen to "ignore" the water fountain not working for months, the bubbled up flooring near the weight section and smith machine, the makeshift black tape on busted paddings and the lack of equipment that other PF's in the Springs offer all because of two very important things. 1) The early bird staff (who are awesome) 2) The fact they were open 24/7. No email or text was sent and their app was not updated with this new change. Their paying customers were notified by new hours posted on the door with no explanation nor an opportunity for their members to provide feedback prior to this change. Opening at 5, based on it being a busier time, will lead to more people with less machines & weights availability and no opportunity to get my full workout in. For me, and for so many others...I have no choice but to find another location that will accommodate my schedule. Completely unprofessional and so very disappointing.

I have been a member here for a while and the main reason I joined, it was open 24 hours. This changed with notice yesterday, a paper sign, taped with hours changing set for 12/15. And another today with immediate changes. There was no effort to speak with the members for feedback on our concerns. No contact in any capacity be it phone calls, voice messages. Planet Fitness has our emails, and we are in the digital age, it is poor business practices by the owners and managers! The lack of curtsey and professionalism is disappointing and frustrating. It is a clear Bait and Switch, for what was sold to us.
There are number of members that arrive at 4 am including myself that are upset. When you must be at work at 7 am this severely limits what can be done, not forgetting that this will increase the number people there, which will lead to members having longer wait times for the work areas/machines, making the experience even worse. Currently the signage is still posted both on the building and website that they’re open 24 hours.
Pair this with lack of equipment maintenance (need for grease), benches with black duct tape covering large holes and floors with raised rubber mats, in some places as high as 1 inch, which is an extremely dangerous and tripping hazard. These concerns have been shared with the staff, and we are told that they will make note about it. Nothing gets repaired or replaced. This is the reason for the 1 star review. The combination of these factors has led me to leave a one-star review. My intention is not to criticize for the sake of complaint, but to advocate for a level of communication, safety, and professionalism that members should be able to expect.

Equipment is very basic compared to other PF’s I’ve been to, some of which is not well maintained. Parts of the flooring is bloated and presents a tripping hazard. Hours changed with no notice. Being open 24/7 was the reason I came to this planet fitness, but without that, there’s no redeeming qualities so I’ll be switching to another gym.

I have been going here a while now an they have been 24 hours. I went on vacation and came back this week to find a sign on the door that they were changing the hours mid billing cycle. So, not before I could cancel before they billed me again. No notifications via email or in the app. Just a note on the door and kicked out at the new closing time. I feel like they need to refund my last month since they changed their hours mid cycle.

Location is advertised as open 24 hours but is not. Management has changed the hours with little to no notification to its members. Pictures show what was there one day (thought was due to holiday season) to just recently of no these are our hours starting now. There have been several members who have asked and inquired to management about pushing the opening hours to 4am Monday thru Friday since it’s no longer going to be 24 hrs as posted outside and on Google itself, due to work schedules and was met with no response. There is several issues with equipment needing fixed or repaired and the answer to that has been slap some tape on it. This location definitely needs to stay 24 hours as advertised for those of us early birds or new times adjusted to 4 am as requested as that’s what works for us and why we paid for our membership. I truly believe how this change in the schedule and lack of response from management to its frustrated members is going to cause people canceling their membership with planet fitness based off conversations at this location with other members.

I used to like this gym even if some of the machines were in questionable conditions/ cleanliness/no hot water/ rippling floors… along with a few other things ,just because of the convenience of hours. Second day in a row I go to the gym and they are not open. Yesterday no sign posted today there is a sign posted about hours changing. They also posted a sign saying hours were going to change mid December, it is not even December. Uprooting early morning gym goers lives for foot traffic… keep in mind we signed up and paid for 24/7 sooooo pissed about this and to just change it out of the blue. You guys have our contact info being notified when we arrive is unacceptable and poor business management… it was so short notice that they couldn’t be bothered to update google or their app on their new hours!!!

We also didn’t ask for much we asked that they open up at 4 instead of 5 for the weekdays because there is plenty of foot traffic for that time slot… guess the middle finger was our answer 😒😒😒

It's a really good gym overall but they have just started a new schedule and is not a 24 hour gym anymore. I really only come because its one of the only 24 hour gyms in the area for a good price. It's kinda disappointing now. I have to come a lot earlier especially on the weekends now. I have to change my workout schedule that I have had for a while.

Equipment could use repair (not duck tape) or replacement. I also wish they’d monitor the 30 minute workout area. Too many people camp out to do multiple reps on the machines instead of what it’s designed for. Never fails when I am doing a circuit, people come camp on the machines, do multiple reps and are on their phone in between. Even when it’s obvious someone is doing the circuit, they don’t move. Please enforce the rules. I would love to talk to management but I don't know who to contact.

I've only been going to this location for two weeks and I've taken three cold showers because they had no hot water. You have to go to the front desk and ask them to reset the water heater. The bathroom had a poop stain on the floor for 3 days. They keep the equipment pretty clean but the locker room is always in need of cleaning. If my school wasn't a quarter mile away from the gym I would go somewhere else. If the same poop stain is still there on day 5 I'm definitely going somewhere else!

Adding to this, the gym is not safe. Dudes walking around with upholstered guns in there sweat pants pockets. Was reported to staff and police. Nothing was done, dude was back 2 days later. Im all for guns but im all for gun safety as well.
A safe concealed carry is in a holster, and is nit capable of falling out.

Staff during the day rocks, they clean well etc. It's a bit run down, following the footsteps of most things in that shopping mall. I've had some really weird experiences, one sexual harassment experience twice with the same person. They did get banned, but today I was leaving and in the evening around 7pm and there was a homeless man nodding off in the lobby at one of the tables. It's not a homeless shelter, in fact we pay a fee so we don't have to experience things like that. I'm pretty sure I'll be switching if things don't get better fast. Also the floors by the dumbells are a tripping hazard I've seen so many people almost faceplate because they are bubbled up so bad.

Came to this location for the first time after moving down here from Denver. I was immediately surprised at how rude the guy working the front desk was. I checked in and when I got to the locker room I realized I didn’t want to deal with someone like him every day, plus this location is very small, and you have to make make a reservation to tan. So, it just didn’t feel like a good fit for me, so I went back to the front desk and kindly asked him to cancel my membership. He was smug and even less friendly than when I checked in. Bummer.

Actually a great gym
The only problem I have with the gym itself, is a lack of just empty space, their is little to no empty space to stretch or just exist.
Their is a "stretching" area but you will impede other's movement if you stretch their, if someone isn't already their.

Unfortunately the only other problem besides that is,it's a shared parking lot, meaning its more public than private which cauaes nefarious characters and individuals to present themselves their, causing legitimate concerns for belonging's in vehicles and well being of sed vehicles and patrons exiting the gym, especially at night.

If you are ok and aware of these two concerns (mostly the second) than by all means this is a fantasic local gym and very affordable with great staff and Donny seems to be doing a great job managing it.

I’ve been to Planet Fitnesses in over seven states, and this one has some of the best customer service. They’re always understaffed, but they do a phenomenal job running everything. There’s rarely a wait for the additional amenities. It’s very clean. Someone please give these kids a raise, and offer a decent wage to hire more people.

Very disappointed in this location and the attendant on Saturday May 24, 2025. I arrived at 2:00am and the lady behind the counter seemed irritated that my App wasn't loading quick enough and she had to pause her phone conversation until I checked in. Then I went to th showers and all three showers in the women's locker room were dirty with trash and empty shampoo bottles. Then I turn the water on and it's ice cold. I thought maybe it needed a minute so I turned on one other shower as I undressed to help the water get hot. But none the less still ice cold. So I go check the third shower and again ice cold I thought maybe it needs a few more minutes so In the meantime I go to the sinks and check them and to my dismay hot water. But it's late it's Friday so unless I want to drive to woodman I got to shower to I took a cold shower. I thought I would let the attendant know on my way out the something was up with the hot water. And her response was I'm sorry but not my problem not my fault. I was besides myself as a blackcard member I would have accepted an im sorry but the extra was unnecessary. I am unsure as I whether I will return to this location. I've never had a problem with any of the other attendants and never had problems with the water. I hope you can solve at least one of these issues.

Love this planet fitness in widefield, security. I've been going here for two months now. When I first came in the girl at the front desk was rather rude and I almost quit going after a week. But then I met some of the other staff who helped me alot. I got the personal trainer Gabriel and he has helped a lot with my goals and keeping me going to the gym. The manager has been nice everytime I've seen him there. The staff are constantly cleaning. I definitely recommend this gym.

This planet fitness allows employees to still come in knowing that they have RSV or hand foot mouth disease. If you have children or babies that you are near everyday, I recommended not coming to this location. Obviously, they are incompetent and uneducated about the effects of allowing sick people at a workplace. Don’t be selfish, just stay home. Compromising someone else’s kids/babies health, is never ok.

Ihave been going here sense the day it opened. It was great!!

Now... the water dispenser has been broken on and off for a few months and they no longer stock the hand sanitizer. I have notifed employees multiple times anout the water and they just tell me to buy the bottled water...The bathrooms are disgusting and the other issue I have is all of the squat racks have shifted out of place and are so close to eachother and the mirrors. Last... there are pot holes the size of freaking Kansas in the parking lot. My buddy came to lift with me had no water... and messed up his car from the pot hole.

Planet Fitness in general is a great club. Unfortunately, I had to cancel due to personal reasons, no termination fees as promised by PF. Unfortunately, Keith on Constitution Ave, in Colorado Springs, CO tarnished that image that I had of PF. Nothing upsets me more than a liar. I cancelled my membership the day after my membership renewed. I asked for a refund, which was denied, which is OK. I asked, since I am paid for the full month, I can use the gym until the end of my billing cycle and he said yes you can and made me sign a form I did not see, he simply said I had to sign to cancel on one of those old fashioned signature things where you cannot see a thing. Fifteen minutes later he sends me an email indicating my last day to use the gym was that same day. Please stay away from this liar and do not believe a single word he says. PF is great, but they have issues hiring ethical people. I can handle the truth, but not deceitful liars. Please note, I had been going to the PF on Main St in CO Springs, CO and they were friendly and amazing. I hope this is not PF culture to lie to people when they want to cancel. Good Luck.

Friendly Staff and good machines that are usual in good condition (a few tears and splits in some padding).
Drawbacks: no free racks for squats or bench presses; you have to do all of it by Smith Machine (which is hard on the backs of tall guys like me). The water fountains produce WARM water. They don't enforce the rules about bags and clutter on the floor, which means there are often labyrinths of backpacks, jugs, cell phones and hoodies (not to mention the people who hoard a log cabin-like stack of free weights all around them so nobody else can use them). They've abandoned the very idea of refilling the hand sanitizing stations throughout the gym, which have sat empty for weeks. And their landlord won't repair the enormous pits in what is easily the WORST parking lot I've found in all of Colorado--it's seriously hazardous to your suspension to drive in this cement wasteland.

While the establishment is tidy and clean with friendly staff, I signed up twice but never went. The dark colors of deep purple and black is just too depressing to start my workout routine. For some reason I decided to give it a second try after the first attempt was a no- go. Same depressing feeling. Maybe if they change the colors, which is highly doubtful then I may return. As a homeless disabled veteran, I really appreciate the judgement free zones. They have allowed me to maintain some dignity while veterans affairs denies me adequate benefits as they have for 5 years now. PS: do not trust the US Military or Veterans Affairs. Like America capitalism, they are designed to destroy you then ignore you till you’re dead of service related illness and physical disabilities, or just suicide when there’s no other escape from the hopelessness.

I have been to many PF locations in Alabama, Nevada, Georgia, and Colorado. This was the worst one. Here is why.
1. The water fountain does not work. When I asked if they had any other water fountains to use, they said I could buy water. Of course, they had crates of water in front of the desk for a fee.
2. The gym seems hotter than usual. I just left Vegas last week, and it was 110 degrees outside, but the gym felt nice. This location felt warm inside, and it was only 85 degrees outside.
3. I spent 1.5 hours in the gym and only saw one person wipe down a machine after they were done. It's not a big deal if the staff cleans, but I didn’t see them clean while I was there. Half of the machines had sweat marks on them before use. If you don't want ringworm, I would wipe down before and after use.

It is a hot gym with no water and dirty equipment. I recommend the PF on Woodmen.

Gym is clean, but why the water in the showers NEVER gets even lukewarm?!! It’s freezing!! My husband says it’s the same for the men’s shower. We go different different times of day and it’s always the same. I am convinced the GM of this location intentionally makes the water fountain out of service or unpalatable to upsale drinks. It was out of service for almost a year and now that its fixed the temperature is shower/bathwater temp. Not even close to room temperature, it is around what you would heat a baby's bottle.

Other than that, it's clean and friendly. I just can't get past how long the drinking fountain has been trash. No joke, over a year I haven't been able to drink water from the fountain.

They state that you must come in person to do so for “security” purposes..like a hacker wants to go through the trouble to cancel my $10 gym membership. I usually go weekday mornings, the young woman with dark hair is friendly and personable but the blonde is always on her phone/gives the dirtiest looks to women.

Gym is clean but they don’t enforce any rules so there are constantly gym bags all over and on the floor and people on the phone talking loudly on the cardio machines.

Walked in to this location for the first time. I needed to update all my information as I moved to a new area in the Springs. Silvia was a freaken superstar in assisting me in person. Great customer service and knowledgeable about her position. Twenty thumbs up dude!

Edit*. Just met Tallyn today whom provided great education on the tanning beds and massage chairs. A wealth of information to learn from that I very much appreciate. The staff here is top notch!

I almost exclusively come to this PF and it's always sometime between 11pm-4am. The few times I've been here outside of these hours it's packed and I feel like they are people that are judgey. With that being said though I have had nothing but the best of experiences at my normal times I go. Whether it's a weekday or weekend, both men that are staffed at that time are great! I've never been there and not seen them cleaning. Literally every night they are around doing cleaning the whole time I'm there. I've also noticed them resetting all the handles for the cables and getting the racks/cables reorganized. They probably don't get much recognition but the fact that they are continually the 3rd shift weekly and actually doing work speaks volumes to me, they deserve the shout out. As far as equipment, they have a pretty good variety but it is definitely missing some staples my old Pf's in the other states I lived in had. I think the main ones I wish they had was the laying hamstring curl, underhand seated row machine, and iso lateral press machine. Either way though, I can find alternatives so not the end of the world. At the end of the day, this is one of the better PFs ive been too which is why I keep going.

Freezing cold water in womens’ showers. The staff at the front desk tried to fix it, to no avail. VERY frustrating when this is the only 24 hour PF gym within a 30 minute radius and they offered nothing more than a “sorry”.

DO NOT come to this location if you are needing a shower before work after your workout! All of the customers including myself have been complaining about ice cold water since August and NOTHING. I will be switching back to VASA. They don't do anything to fix the problem. One girl even told me they would give her a free month fir the inconvenience and they didn't even follow through with that!

The Gym Atmosphere is awesome man! It truly is a Judgement Free Zone. All of the equipment you need to get the job done and they have more than 1 machine to get your workout in. It’s terrible when you gotta wait for a machine but not at Planet Fitness. So Thank You!!

The water station has been out of order since I opened my membership in October. Bring your own water or be prepared to fill your bottles from the bathroom sink like I’ve witnessed others do 🤢

Any business that does this, is a scammer. So, just tried to cancel a membership over the phone. No you can't do that, you have to come in, but they will do it if you aren't in the area? Can't do it on the app either? In this day and age. So, a place I haven't had time to get to, I have to find time to get to. It appears, they also need 10 days before your monthly billing to cancel it. Again, in this day and age of apps and computers? It really exposes the scummy side of a business, when you find out about these policies designed to keep unjustified money.

* 3 Nov 23 Update*
This place has gone severely down hill in the last couple months. The locker room, restroom, and showers are always dirty or out of service. The water bottle filler has been broken on and off for months. The water fountain is disgusting. The floors never seem to be cleaned anymore. Random people with pets are let in (not service dogs but pets) to use the restrooms. The list goes on and on. I no longer look forward to working out since I never know the state the place will be in.

I've been going here for a year now and enjoy it. It's nothing spectacular, but it's clean and accessible, and the employees are friendly.

I do wish they had more space. A dedicated space for stretching would be wonderful. Currently the space is shared with anyone wanting to use the TRX(?) equipment or using the area for core work.
