The facility itself is great, and the staff is friendly; I enjoyed being able to walk there from my neighborhood.

But managing my account was a nightmare. When I moved out of the area and asked them to pause my account for one month, they said they did — but they didn't actually, and I ended up getting charged for the month. When I called them to point out this error, they refunded me — then, despite me saying a pause was no longer necessary, they paused my account for the next five months! There was no way to unpause my account online, and the gym local to my new home was unable to help — they said I had to call my "home gym", which was now thousands of miles away, who were also the only ones who could help me transfer my account to a new "home gym"! Rather than continue to make repeated phone calls and be misunderstood, I ended up cancelling my account.

Not a bad location except for the weird guys that hang out in the locker room all the time just looking at others getting ready which is very weird. The locker room is not a hang out spot and these guys that just sit there hanging out are very sus.

Smaller gym, but very well kept. I am in every day Monday - Friday and almost every single day one of the staff members will take a moment to vacuum. They’ll vacuum thoroughly (lifting the machines to vacuum under them!) altogether the gym is well kept!

I really like this PF. I also have a membership to 24Hr, that I've had for about 15 years. I won't let that one go since I only pay $49/year. But, the closet 24h to me is a ways from me now. This PF is less than 2 miles from my place. The people at the front desk always greet me with a smile and a hello. The facility itself is small, but it really has everything one would need for a good workout. It is also clean, the locker room is nice, with showers. They also have the massage chair and bed. I believe they have a tanning area, but I am not positive, since I don't tan. A couple of vending machines by the locker room too. Not a bad place, and the price is good.

This is a smaller PF. They do really well with what they can, but dont have room for all the new machines. I think they do a great job with the space though! There's like 5 racks of free weights spread out over the gym.

I’ve always had positive experiences at this gym, but unfortunately, my recent visit was disappointing. When I walked in, Ben at the front desk was unexpectedly rude and dismissive. The app was updating, so I wasn’t able to check in immediately and went straight to the restroom. Instead of approaching the situation with understanding, he addressed me in a passive-aggressive and unnecessarily harsh manner. It was really disappointing, especially considering the great customer service I’ve experienced in the past.

First I would like to tell you that this is a really nice planet fitness. It appears to be very new, everything is in good working order, and my favorite part was the locker rooms. Their showers have two compartments so that you can change clothes and shower without leaving your little compartment and you don’t have to worry about where you’re gonna put your belongings while you’re in the shower. Most of them don’t have that and you have to dress in a separate location which means running around in a bath towel. That also means that the whole time you’re in the shower and you’re trying to keep an eye on your stuff that’s right outside your shower. So my hat is off to this planet fitness for not making their patrons do that. This location also provides soap in the shower. I have never seen a planet fitness that did that. And the water was pleasantly warm. Some planet fitness try to save money by making the water cold. Luckily this is not one of them. At first when I noticed the locker rooms were right up front by the door, I thought that was a good idea because if you don’t look so great whenever you come in you can clean yourself up before you work out and nobody will really see you. But while I was in the locker room, a fellow patron kept walking back-and-forth looking at my belongings. That made me worry that my lock would get broken and my stuff would get stolen and they would be out the door quickly and no one would notice. In most planet fitness, they would have to walk through the gym to get out.
Other people are correct that there is way too much equipment crammed in the way too small of a space here. A lot of the patrons were not cleaning off the equipment after use either.
That part I can deal with
What made me decide to leave early, was how uncomfortable I was leaving my car in the parking lot. I don’t know if it’s because I’m not from that neighborhood or because my car is a beat up piece of crap, but I had at least six cars drive slow looking at my car or actually park their car and get out to come look at my car. And there were groups of people hanging out in the parking lot. I don’t know what their intentions were, but I can’t afford to have anything happen to my car. So I left after only 15 minutes. If you were used to living in a big city and you can read the environment better than I can, then this is a really nice planet fitness. I would definitely recommend it. But I am from nowhere Alaska and I can’t read the neighborhood. So I may have been Skittish for no reason. Every other vehicle in the parking lot was nicer than mine…so I think I was just being silly. But I listen to my intuition & it was telling me it was past time to go.

My wife and I were so excited to see this planet fitness open up in our neighborhood and we haven't been disappointed. This gym has great variety of machines, has always been clean with friendly helpful staff and nice massage beds for black card members.

Brand new equipment. I go to a lot of planet fitnesses and this one has the largest variety of plate-loaded machines. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly!

For my fellow travelers: this is a small gym, but it has a nice variety of equipment. It gets a little claustrophobic during peak hours. Better locker rooms than average: full changing rooms with mirrors, spacious showers with hot water, shelves, and hooks. Very clean too.

Some may not know that, despite its smaller size, it offers more variety of upgraded weight lifting equipment than any of the other 40 locations in Colorado. For instance, they were the first to introduce a CryoLounge for inflamed muscles or hot summer days. They also offer deep tissue massage chairs, red light therapy chambers, and tanning booths. If you prioritize your health, the benefits of these alone justify the price of the membership 💪🏻💪🏽💪🏿

Finally a neighborhood GYM that I can walk to this planet fitness is definitely the most clean and friendly always greeted staff is super friendly very attentive the equipment is great lots of options unlike other planet fitness guests are actually working out and not hanging out in a machine for minutes over all this location is amazing and convenient I’m glad we have it here

Nice gym and good addition to the Athmar Park shopping center! Only concerns are the group of people who hang outside getting drunk and loitering which can make some guests/visitors feel uneasy and also really bring a sore eye to the gym which in turn can turn guests/visitors away.

Classes...nope. Not unless you count a 30-minute weight lifting session as a group class. Uh, yuck!
I joined in December (two months ago).
I've never been greeted because NO one is ever at the desk.
I've never been offered a tour.
I don't even know where the bathrooms are.
I don't know how anything works because I've never seen any employees who may be able to help me.
I bought the highest level membership for all these supposed perks, but so far, nothing. I've only figured out how to use the elliptical.
As far as gyms go, there aren't many options in my neighborhood.
I moved from Golden to Denver in November, and my neighborhood doesn't feel safe to walk in during the day, let alone night. Hence, the gym membership.
I wish there was a gym with fun dance classes and good music.
