Another Predatory Parking LLC out here trying to score a quick $160-$190 a parking ticket. Avoid like the plague and quit feeding their insatiable appetite to screw over hardworking Americans that move their freight year round. Man I swear we don’t get enough credit for our service to America. I’m just trying to stay fit and strong to avoid an early onset of heart problems and diseases that come from a sedentary lifestyle but these predatory parking companies don’t make it easy for a trucker just trying to live an active lifestyle in an industry of high demand and countless requirements. Being hundreds of miles away from home is hard enough and then, not only worry about being safe, but also worry about parking at gyms in fear of being towed.

Gym experience was great. Great atmosphere and good equipment for a small gym in the inner city is impressive. I go all over the U.S. and this one would have been one of the best until that ticket.

!!!TRUCKERS BEWARE!!! The staff @ this location told me that truckers will get ticketed for parking here. I didn’t get one most likely because it’s a Sunday but I’m just throwing that in there. I have also been told that they won’t tow you so risk it if you’d like. Walmart is across the street and an employee from Walmart told me that parking behind the rico pillo Mexican restaurant should be fine so you can also make sure with them but I risked parking in the PF lot as it’s closer lol. Entering with a trailer may be difficult so just keep that in mind. Other than that I had. A pleasant experience with the cleanliness and the equipment at the gym. It also wasn’t too packed for a Sunday evening.

I’ve been a member of Planet Fitness since 2020, and I've witnessed a tremendous transformation, particularly with the management. Under Abdul's leadership as the manager, the experience has been phenomenal.

From the moment you walk in, the hospitality of the entire staff is evident. They greet you warmly as you arrive and bid you farewell with genuine thanks when you leave. It's clear they truly care about their customers. I've observed that when a machine breaks down, the urgency with which the team addresses the issue is impressive—they are quick to resolve problems because they genuinely care about our experience.

What I appreciate most is the sense of community. Each customer feels like family rather than just a member. We all recognize one another, share greetings, and respect each other’s personal space. I've consistently been treated with respect, whether by the staff or fellow gym-goers.

I've recommended this gym to many people, and while I sometimes wonder if I should have kept it a secret, I love the camaraderie we share while working out. Abdul has also made significant improvements by updating the machinery—something I hadn’t seen in my six years here until he took over.

I regularly interact with the younger staff members, including Miguel, Hamid, Ashley, Giselle, Raymond, Kim, and assistant manager A. Fife. They consistently display professionalism and ensure the gym is clean and well-maintained, including the bathrooms.

Congratulations to the entire Planet Fitness team for creating such a welcoming and efficient environment. I’m proud to be a member!

One of the best gyms I’ve ever visited! The place is spotless, super well-organized, and the atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in. I come and workout in the morning here. I’ve been to planet fitness all around Colorado. I’ve never had a problem with staffs and mangers. The morning manager at the Montbello gym consistently makes me feel uncomfortable whenever I visit. It’s reached a point where I’m seriously considering canceling my membership because of this.

Also, Lakewood is the closest with late night weekend hours?!.. what a rip off to pay $25 a month. I can't wait to cancel this membership.

Update: 3 weeks ago i wrote the above review. Well, here we are 21 days later and you still don't have hot water in the womens bathroom. I waited to come back to see if the owner would correct the issue. Obviously he has not. I filed a complaint with Colorado health department. It is unsanitary to have no hot water in a restroom. It is not okay for paying customers to take a shower or wash their hands in what feels like the artic.

I have to say this is my favorite gym. I came in and person that helped me out with super kind. It was super clean. It’s a little bit smaller so it’s a little bit more packed, but everybody is so nice. The people who work here are truly great I like their team. It’s very clean and I would recommend to come here.

Good morning Maps community,
I'll provide context by saying, I'm an avid gym goer. I enjoy traveling and maintain my planet fitness membership for the perks of having access to a gym within close proximity, regardless of where I'm traveling [in the world in some cases]. Also, I'm a trained pharmaceutical Microbiologist, and from my clinical, academic, and pharmaceutical experience developed a patented process that tests the microbioal bioburden, or the potential for infection spreading, within gyms, hospitals and other shared non pharmaceutical environments.
That said, gotta give a shout out to Tee! A one man wrecking crew! I arrived in Denver for a conference and was at the gym bright and early (5am) and Tee was performing all of operations, management, and making patrons feels welcomed; myself included.
From mopping every crevice of the gym, to deep cleaning the restrooms and spa area, he was truly doing it all.

Outside of the purple & yellow branded gym equipment, [to me] planet Fitness is known for their unique smells in the men's restrooms and fruit flies who always seem to be happily thriving near the restroom drains. Tee was on it! The restrooms smelt fresh with automatic diffuser and freshly cleaned scents. That was a very pleasant surprise.
The ambiance and culture was incredibly kind.
The equipment was all in order and each TV was fully functional (if that's important to your workout)
All in all this was one of the nicest, cleanest, well recieved planet fitness I've ever encountered.

they got new treadmills sense last time i was here, they are bad. the buttons on the bar dont work right, if they even work at all. time is capped at 99mims cause they can only count that high, the heart meter handle is also akward to use cause its flat and so low.

OK let's start with the basics, planet fitness is hardly a "gym" or a "fitness center" it's more of a cardio theater country club with machines. To that point... If they have approximately 18 TVs and only 4 of them work then that's a failing score by any measure. So the TVS are shot.

Secondly when asking club managers to simply change a channel they don't even try whereas at other pfs they at least attempt.

3rd point, many of the treadmills are not accurate with their speed so I'm sure many ppl think they are running at 7 mph and xyz miles but that is inaccurate across many of them so they are living a lie created by faulty equipment.

The good news is that the normal cleaning staff is wonderful and very pleasant. They do a great job.

I honestly don’t come to this branch often, it used to be really crowded in the staff was not that nice. They participate in predatory customer practices. You can't cancel online, forcing you to come in, or get this, send actual mail. You've got to be kidding.

But guess what, in California it is the law that it must be possible to cancel online. So there is no excuse other than greed and disrespect to the customer. You can change your address and change your gym to one that is in California, then you can cancel. The technology has been built. They intentionally turn off the ability to cancel to screw the customer. Boo. 0 stars. I hate these companies and their anti competitive and anti consumer practices.

March 11th 2024 I walked in to cancel my membership I pay my late fee and they say it's been canceled. April 19th I get a charge from planet fitness. I call and they tell me it was not canceled and they will "try" to reimburse me. Never got my money back. This place has bad practices and a staff who are more interested in looking at what walks through the door then making shure my membership is canceled.

I've been coming to this place for the last month and a half now. Totally new to Planet Fitness also (never been) but have been to many gyms all over the world. I do have another gym membership elsewhere as well, but came to the Aurora area to watch a friend's house and take care of their pet while he got to go see his sister in Hawaii who unfortunately has cancer. Since my gym wasn't in the area (closer to where I was staying).....I just signed up with Planet Fitness here in addition. The entire time I've gone to this place I felt nothing but welcomed, it was clean, and it pretty much had everything I needed equipment wise. Thank you for that. One of the staff members there (Yassir) was incredibly nice, engaging, and helpful to. Makes a difference. Best wishes on your college journey man! Today is my last day though, don't know if I'll ever be back (live in Colorado but not the area), yet if I am.....I wouldn't have to think twice to stop in for a workout. This location got way better than before since Abdul the new manager took over. From having only one hand sanitizer that was barely working for the entire store, we now have multiples ones everywhere in the gym; I can see actually the place getting cleaned daily with Abdul going above and beyond to make sure everyone is getting treated fairly. He is always greeting everyone with smile and ready to answer any questions. Today I came and found him sweeping the front entrance, the entire place looked fresh and smelled great. So whoever hired this new manager, good job. Now it time to give him a raise. Lol 😆, the man is doing a great job and it is the little things that really make a difference, especially having hand sanitizer all around.
