I’ve visited this location several times and a consistently had issues with the treadmills being out of calibration. Just this morning, the machine showed 5.75 miles while my Apple Watch measured 5.0 miles, a big gap if you’re training toward specific running goals.
I mentioned it to manager, and he said maintenance has looked into it but there isn’t a fix. I understand equipment wears down, but the inaccuracy seems to be present across multiple machines, which makes it hard to rely on them for pace or distance.
Just a headsup to runners: until the treadmills can be recalibrated or updated, they’re not reliable enough for accurate training.

Nice facility, very clean too. I've been to several planet fitness locations around Denver, this one was the quietest. I liked the different areas and variety of equipment. I really liked the massage chair after.

A personal trainer and coach for $10-$25 per month for as many sessions as you'd like sounds improbable. I've been going to Planet Fitness in Highlands Ranch for about 8 months and working with Coach Javier who has tailored half hour sessions to exactly what I was looking for. I can sign up for as many as I'd like each week which is perfect flexibility to my busy schedule. Javier is genuine, personable, and passionate about what he does which shows in his sessions each week. Highly recommend!

It's ok. Clean. New equipment.
They wrangled me in on a 24-hour operation and then quickly changed it after opening. Later, they claimed they were a 24/5 with weekend hours.

They are not truly a 24/5 as they close early on Friday evening.

I looked past all that and continued to keep my membership.

I changed back accounts, and after they continually kept trying to pull from my other account and over draw it 3 times in a month, I called Will to help fix the problem.

As usual, the problem is left to you to fix, and they are unwilling to work with or help you. Their job is to take your money, not to be helpful or of service.

Anyone can stand there, sweep a floor, and take your money. A good company and manager are looking for ways to improve, be of service, and retain their clients.

I have membership with Chuz and 24 hour fitness all within a few minutes drive of here. I say this because we all have a choice in where we go. Customers stay where we feel valued even if we know we have been mislead.

There is tons of parking too which is great (a nearby gym has the worst parking lot so this was important to me!).Yes, there are some things they don’t have like squat racks and a sauna, but overall it’s a good place to work out, plus being able to go to other locations when traveling is a bonus.

Friendly from entry and always helpful. The staff is just incredible and they remember you. They make you feel so welcome. A huge reason I love it. And the people in general are considerate and there is body inclusivity. Extremely clean and equipment is kept functioning well. And it’s not overly busy when I go. I live closer to the location on Arapahoe, but choose Highlands Ranch.

Huge facility that is never ever crowded, it seems. This means no waiting for machines (there are many duplicates of many machines) and the in the theme of Planet Fitness, anyone can have a great workout with the ease of use and organized stations for beginners and beyond. I do wish there were mirrors to be able to check form while working out and the kettlebell section could definitely use more than only up to 30# bells. Overall cleanliness is good, though as with most gyms, the floors could really stand to have the appearance of being deep cleaned. The spa is great and I recommend a black membership if you can get it. The massage options are worth it, though in a facility that’s never crowded I wish the hydro massage chairs and beds could run for longer than 10 mins at a time. I’d happily settle for 15 mins. treatments.

I did not end up liking this gym due to the fact that they had no hip thrust and no squatting bars that weren’t smith machines so I cancelled. The problem was when I went to cancel I had an unresponsive front desk answer his name was shaun he was ignoring half of the things I said and couldn’t find my account and was incredibly rude on the phone. He said there was not a manager I could speak to but then he called back a few minutes later saying he contacted a manager (don’t know why he couldn’t have done that in the first place) and that he was finally able to find the account but could not look us up by email or name in the first place. Their front desk needs to have phone etiquette because being unresponsive and short is not professional.

The large cable machine towers shake a ton without even pulling that much weight, there is a reason there is a spot for bolts to be sent into the floor. Second, the treadmills are disgustingly out of calibration. I was walking at about a 3.1-3.2mph pace (as I have been every day for the last few years) came to this location and I had to set it up to 3.7ish to feel the same pace. Not only that but when I went to lower the treadmill, the reading said I went from 15% back down to 0% however it was cleared still way up in the air. Wasn’t just one treadmill, this happened to me yesterday.

Shady business practices on corporate side, cant cancel over the phone “to protect us from fraud”. That’s such a lie it’s so that way people have to come in making it more challenging in hopes to get more money. For a no judgement zone the lunk alarm is out of place and truthfully messed up. The staff is never really friendly they always seem uncomfortable and annoyed when I need to ask a question …like I’m sorry you have to do your job. Overall just not a great gym but you get what you pay for.

Love the no ego & get to it mentality of the gym & it's members. Clean and brand new equipment, plenty of space and good layout. If you’ve been to other locations the equipment should be familiar. No squat racks and lack of free weights besides dumbbells (up to 75 lbs) but can’t fault the facility as that is PF policy.
