Definitely the best Planet Fitness location I’ve been to so far. The gentleman at the front was extremely welcoming and took the time to show me where everything was. The gym is clean, organized, and has large windows so you can lift while taking in the Colorado beauty outside. Great atmosphere all around and they really make it easy to enjoy your workout here.

I’ve probably been to close to a hundred Planet Fitness locations across the U.S., and this one is definitely one of the best-equipped. It has some machines I haven’t seen in any other location. It’s also very clean, brightly lit with plenty of natural light, and has a beautiful view of the lake while you’re doing pull-ups. Smile! 😄

I signed up for the very first time on Wednesday the third of September and I go in at 8 o’clock in the morning and instead of being introduced or being shown around so I knew what I was doing, instead there is nobody at the front desk and when I was walking around i saw two staff in black sitting on their phone doing absolutely nothing with their time, instead of asking if I needed help, instead I just got a mean look pretty lazy staff and really no help at all to new comers, Edit: went in a second time and the only great staff member was debby, she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and even helped me get a photo for my account. Absolutely terrible business practices. First billing cycle, I had a typo in my account number and got charged at $15 late fee even though I came in and paid in person the next day. They REFUSED to refund it, even though it was the first cycle and a mistake. They also double charged me for a month and say they’ll refund that, but I’m not holding my breath.

This club is fine for working out in. But I had been planning to move and asked the front desk to cancel my membership for me, they refused to cancel and told me to do so myself online. So I did the next day. I came to realize a couple of months later they had still been changing me and also charged me another expensive yearly fee. I called in to ask them to reverse since it was their staff's fault that they wouldn't cancel for me in person and clearly their website does not work properly. They refused to refund me any money although they can see that I haven't been in. they weren't apologetic or cared at all that their service was bad. If you want to cancel I suggest insisting on them cancelling for you in person.

Larger gym, not too busy on a Sunday at noon, parking lot is small, not large RV or 18-wheeler friendly unless you park in the dirt. So Google map it. Bathrooms need to be looked at more than once. Shift, trash, overflowing and paper towels empty. Nobody walking around, wiping the dust down etc.

Update : I came in today June 14th at 9pm and was able to get a hot shower and the other showers seemed to be okay and working everything was good so my past review was acknowledged and the issues were fixed I can now update this to 4 stars I wouldn't give it 5 because they don't allow you to sleep over night there and police or security will tell you to leave if you attempt to stay the night, so because of that I will give it 4 but the gym itself has improved and I'm happy about that 👍
Old review from 2 months ago : Great gym I've been a member here for years only issue is that the showers run cold always hopefully one day that gets fixed because I use the showers regularly and cold showers aren't fun very unhappy about that also one shower was out of order and the one on the furthest right has a leak and my gym bag was getting wet the entire time I showered because the leak makes the water spray over the shower curtain on your towel and bag not a fun experience at all

Normally, the overnight staff at Planet Fitness can come off a bit unwelcoming, but Ana completely changed that experience for me. From the moment I walked in, her energy was different—super friendly, positive, and genuinely helpful. She made me feel comfortable right away and took the time to explain how to use the machines properly. She’s always informative and never makes you feel dumb for asking questions.

Another thing that stands out is how clean everything is when she’s working. The men’s bathroom is always spotless, and the showers are actually a place you can trust to use—which says a lot for a gym. You can tell Ana takes pride in what she does and really cares about the members’ experience. Planet Fitness is definitely better with her on the team.

Used to be my favorite PF and my home PF. Lately it's been significantly under maintained. Over the last 2-3 months things are constantly broken. There was a month where multiple showers were not functioning. Now, its been at least a month since there's been hot water. One of the 3 faucets hasn't worked at all over that time span and now one of the 2 toilets is out of order.

I understand that things happen, but it's completely unacceptable that these things go un-fixed and un- maintained for such a long period of time. I pay my membership every month on time, I don't think expecting my club to have basic functionality is too much to ask

The reason why I am giving this gym 1 star is because of the lack of customer service, consistency and accountability. I have contacted the gym in person, by email and phone multiple times regarding billing and cancelling my membership only to be tossed around, giving inconsistent answers, ignored and my money now wasted. If you just need a place to work out that’s cheap, it’s fine, but if you ever have questions beyond that — do not go to this planet fitness. Absolutely horrendous service.

I've been a black card member for a number of years. I really like the equipment, and the team mostly does a good job keeping the place clean, even on days when we're tracking in snow and slush on the floor. I'm prompted to write here however, cause last month someone's started putting 'slaps', or sticker graffiti, on equipment. I brought it to the attention of the desk staff 2 weeks ago, but it's still there. I hope it doesn't go much further, as it becomes kind of a blight as seen on signs around town.

Going on 4 weeks without repairing one of the very popular chest machines. There’s a few treadmills that don’t incline like they’re supposed to. Meanwhile, it’s almost a daily occurrence that you can hear one of the staff members ripping the others about something.

overall it was a pretty good experience. There were some machines that weren't working; that had no out of order sign on them.
What I really was disappointed with was the showerheads ,they were like the showerheads in the jail.. and yes I know how those are lol... it was not a good experience taking a shower maybe that's what they want. They don't want you taking a shower🤷🏽‍♀️
Also the massage chairs are out of date. Most Planet Fitness don't have the coins anymore, just a push button start ;and they're just so much better. Other than that the staff was nice and it was a good location. I'm a truck driver and I travel all over to different planet fitnesses and my shower is very important to me...

They always find a way to rip you off, no matter how hard you try to protect yourself from their shady business practices. They require a bank account as payment so they can steal from you easier. They lied to my face and stole an annual fee from me. No one there is empowered to help, the head guy ignores my emails. Plus they don't even have any bench presses. I went in to this location to tan. The rooms are filthy and the beds are always dirty. I haven’t tanned for a while so I was expecting to have a lot of color. I didn’t even have a tan line. I’m not sure when the last time you changed your bulbs but they definitely need changed!!! I hope you nice staff can work on keeping the rooms and beds cleaner. Iccckkkk!

Definitely one of the larger gyms in the area. Sadly many of the gym users at this location were sitting on their phone and not actually working out, which is frustrating when you are waiting for a machine. Also, you may want to have PF workers check the 30 minutes circuit every once in a while because twice I had to ask somebody if they were going to actually use the machine that I needed to be on next in the sequence. People are just sitting at machines on their phone in that area and most people aren't moving when the light turns red. Super annoying when you're trying to take your workout seriously

Great value gym! So many amenities if you are a black card member- red light therapy, tanning beds, hydro massage chairs or beds. The problems I’ve found are that the amenities are often not what they seem. The hydro beds are wonky, the red light rooms are actually not red lights, and the tanning beds are either really strong- like you’ll be peeling for a month after an 8 min session, or you won’t notice a thing after a 12 min session. With all that being said, with a $25/ month charge, the value can’t be beat!! The equipment is to notch, and the culture is super inclusive.

Get an email to come cancel my membership. I drive there to cancel my membership. Oh, but I can't cancel my membership until next month unless I want to pay $58. Well why did it email me that I needed to come in by a certain date? They don't know. Okay, can they schedule my cancelation? Nope! Since I'm here in person today confirming I want to cancel, can I now call in next time to complete it? Nope! So what are my options? Send a letter but make sure it gets here between x date and y date. SERIOUSLY. I will never walk into a Planet Fitness again. I switched to Chuze fitness a few months back just because of amenities but at least their policies aren't OPENLY STUPID. Their team even agreed it was stupid! I'd suggest everyone check out Chuze Fitness and start going there. 10/10 customer service literally anywhere except Planet Fitness.

UPDATE:
Received a call from corporate I assume. They offered to waive any fees and let me cancel immediately. The customer service rep was incredibly helpful and empathetic. I was coming to remove my one star review because of how helpful they were but after seeing the "owner's" response below I'll be leaving this up. I'm well aware of the contract which is why I continued to pay for several months after joining another gym and only came in to cancel once I received an email prompting me to and informing me the contract was ending. If the "owner" had bothered to read the review then they'd know this. Moral of the story: maybe other locations are okay but this one can kick rocks.

Don't get me wrong, love the place but when you want to use a piece of a equipment and one person is standing by it and never touch the machine once and you have completed two full workouts, 4 sets each and they are still playing on the phone and you ask them are they going to use the machine and they say yes but continue to stand there and play on their phone is irritating. Very dirty bathrooms. Globs of hair and other material in the showers which are already pretty black because the shower pan is plastic and absorbs all the grime and dirt. They also clearly aren’t sprayed down and washed like at other locations. Evident by the terrible smell in them.
