I've been coming to this location since early 2023. Over the past year, the machines, bathrooms, and floors have clearly not been as clean as before. I can literally see balls of hair and dirt sitting in the same corner for weeks. More than once, the bathroom sinks have had no soap available in any of the three dispensers.
As customers, we have to help maintain the place clean, but the staff also needs to do their part.
All in all, it's a good place to work out.

This one teenager boy employee, brown hair, always looks very distracted, like he doesn’t want to be there, or anyone else for that matter. He will greet me but I can see him roll his eyes after I scan in. All other employees never seem to give me this attitude. Can hear him cursing at the front desk while I’m on the treadmills too. Update… By the response you obviously didn’t read my review. Lol so I’ll drop a star. But I also had an interaction with the trainer mark today and he is so incredibly rude. I would never ever book a session with him.

The staff is great, friendly, personable, responsive & respectful. We love coming here. In fact I keep bringing new people all the time, they love it too. The machines are good & the facility is wonderful. But please, please, please hire a professional cleaning staff at least once a week to do deep cleans. Especially on the restrooms, showers and floors throughout the entire facility. The spa equipment will last longer & the overall experience can be nearly flawless with a cleaner environment. Please don’t expect minimum wage (or near minimum) employees to do the deep cleaning that should really be trusted to professionals. Otherwise, you guys are doing a great job!

The gym and staff are great but they won't let me cancel my membership. I had to cancel the card account they were charging. Now I get monthly notifications the charge was declined on that account, yet they still keep trying. Last I checked I owe over $500. I'll never go back because of this. Sad.

NEGATIVE HEALTH ALERT. I didn't book any of the included therapy sessions yesterday when I was in. 2 weeks ago I tried. Waiting by reception repeatedly while no one was doing any work. As I was leaving the most miserable individual was behind the desk. I made my request to use one of the included services of membership. The Laziest female indv. was either to ill or Ignorant to speak . Instead just offered an obnoxious ignorant hand gesture. Refusals of Prepaid services is management liable for Fraud.? When the therapy session would not activate I walked out to see the ignorant lazy staffher reclining on a massage chair that should be reserved for card members. Why would Anyone invest in a business and Allow it to be degraded by sub par ignorant temporary workers. There is better service at the Thrift store and most of them are doing community service. Members deserve a courteous and welcoming environment. With out paid aggressively Ignorant Agitators staffing.

This location will not allow you to cancel in the app or by phone. You have to mail a letter in or do it in person. Extremely inconvenient if you move out of state. This is 2025. Signatures can be collected electronically. There is no reason to do this other than to make it harder to cancel so you continue to pay for a membership.

In response to the owner telling me to contact the club manager... the club manager David did call me back to reiterate that I need to cancel in person or by sending in a certified letter with my signature. I let him know that I was not happy with either of those outcomes and he told me he is not equipped with the tools to help me cancel my membership any other way. This is the kind of scammy stuff people should know about and why people don't like contracts with gyms. I can cancel every other membership or service I have through my phone in an app or by calling someone at the company. It's a bummer because I have used planet fitness in the past and have canceled my membership before only to sign up again. But they don't seem to value my business or my time to make it convenient for me and I let the club manager know as well that planet fitness will never get my business again at any location based off principle.

I went into tour this facility today. The manager, Jason was incredibly personable and friendly. It was obvious that he really cared about this facility and anybody who walked through the door. I also met the personal trainer Marc, who was just as friendly and upbeat. The facility is very large with a ton of very nice equipment. It looks clean new and well maintained. Every person who walked in the door was friendly and smiling. Seems like a great place to be.

The women's locker room is rarely clean, especially the floor. It usually gets a super cleaning after I complain. When lights go out in the gym it takes forever to change.

The only downside is the people who come to the gym but don't work out. They just sit on the machines and play on their phone or take selfies for attention. When there's only 1-2 of the same machines available, many people may need that machine. It's very disrespectful as some people do have a certain amount of time to work out before they head to appointments, work, or/and errands.

The other downside is how many people are too lazy to wipe down the machines after use. It's so disgusting.

Everything about this gym is great. The staff are all pleasant people, engaging and fun to talk to, and they do a great job keeping the place clean and the equipment in good shape. Just to name a few, Sam, David, Preston, Gianna, Thomas, Josh and Robert are great people, fun to talk to, and they’re always friendly and courteous. The other members are generally respectful about sharing and not intruding on other people’s space. There is never so big of a crowd you have to compete or wait for equipment, even at the busiest times of the day. On the other hand there are usually a good number of people around so there’s good energy, a lively atmosphere and it rarely feels empty until very late at night.

Great value! Way cheaper than 24-hour fitness, chuze, lifetime, and of course any South-Suburban Rec Centers. Plenty of cardio machines, plenty of multi-purpose machines for arms, lower back, crunches, etc. They also have free weights despite the online rumors. I was set up with Marc (at no extra charge), who is the trainer there, and got me on a fitness plan going forward. Hydro massage/massage chairs are fantastic! Love the space, amount of excellent-condition equipment, and the Black Card amenities. That said, I think there's only one treadmill (out of the MANY) that's been out of commission for quite a while. I really wish they'd stop changing around the "abs & stretching" equipment placements! It feels like it's a battle between one staff member who knows exactly where everything should be and one staff member who just wants to mess with everyone's sanity, personal space, and sense of decorum.

I wish I could give this place 5 stars. Unfortunately, the Ladies bathroom isn't regularly deep-cleaned (hair, trash, who knows what on the stall walls, etc that's not moved after several days). Of the many different day/time-frames I've been to the gym, I've only consistently seen the 2 early am week/end employees walking the gym cleaning and the majority of the late am/pm staff congregate to chat behind the desk. Initially, I used to use the showers here but I stopped after not being pleased with the severe lack of water pressure or consistent water temp, staff not filling the soap dispensers after I've asked, and the grossness of the enclosed changing rooms. Still, this place is centrally located, the staff are nice and very friendly even if the majority don't take pride in keeping the cleaning standards up, and I'm certainly not about to go to the North Littleton location after reading those crazy sounding reviews!

I've asked staff but no one's addressed it: the speakers in the women's locker room are not in sync with each other. Depending on where you stand, it's a several second difference and it drives my ears bonkers. And please keep the doors to the Black Card area shut so the calm, relaxing music doesn't clash with the louder, main gym music.

Last but not least, staff highlight: Ina, (early am weekend staff member) is THE most wonderful person I've met here - a solid hard worker, always cleaning, with a warm smile and genuine heart of gold! I'm so so so sad and very disappointed to hear that she's leaving this location and transferring to the new location soon. If that location were centrally located, I'd change my home gym to that one because of her. South Littleton PF is losing their best employee and, frankly, I'm concerned that the cleaning standards here will continue to decline as a result of her departure.

A ton of cardio machines, but a lot of exercise options are lacking. Not even a single squat rack or bench press anywhere! (Other than Smith Machines) Dumbbells only go up to 75 pounds as well. This gym is more for the people who want to just get a quick workout and be active. However, this gym is not for enthusiasts. And don’t even get me started on the lunk alarm. I would rate two stars but it is very clean and the machines are in very good condition. Plus the fact that they give free summer memberships to high schoolers is a nice factor.

Nice, new, and friendly. This Planet fitness is a really great facility. I've been a member of many different gyms, and this one is by far one of the best kept facilities that I've been to. All of the machines were clean & didn't have any signs of wear. The fitness equipment, tanning beds, and even massage devices were all in good working order. The locker room and restrooms were clean and comfortable. Another notable positive for this gym was the friendly and helpful staff. Every person that I spoke with was helpful and seemed genuinely interested in helping me and answering my questions. I am very happy that I decided to become a member at this planet fitness location & look forward to routinely visiting. If you're looking for a gym that is loaded with new equipment, never, ever crowded, and an excellent value (similar to Chuze and Vasa) look no further than this gym. I joined there last Saturday at 11:00 AM and there were about 30 people in the gym. My typical Saturday at my other gym is 200-250. I'd have given the Planet a higher mark but, as dumb as this sounds, I think they have too much dark purple in the gym. I like light and bright. Also, can't use your wireless headset or earbuds if watching TV while on the treadmill, ellipticals, cycling, etc. You need wired earbuds or headphones. The gym from what I saw was spotless. The functionality of some of the equipment I had never seen before. It worked my muscles in ways I had never experienced. Nice place.

Very clean and new club. All cardio machines are the most current models 2022/2023. Being from Maryland, the club size and layout is much better and larger than the 3 clubs I use near the 20874 zip area. The black card area is the best I have seen after using close to 20 different clubs in various states. The staff is very attentive and friendly. 5 stars all the way.... Hard to improve on this club.

If I were to be really picky, the lack of a hair dryer (as seen in many other clubs) could be fixed as well as a chair/small table in the large rooms with the hybrid tanning and lay down beds. The way it is now, one needs to lay their clothes on the floor and no way to sit to take off the shoes. I am sure these items will be attended to in he future as the club is so new they are probably on order.

One complaint is that cleanliness needs to improve. Toilets, urinals, and showers need to be cleaned daily. I don’t think they are cleaned at closing time. The locker room floors still have the black adhesive strips on the tile, collecting dirt and grime.

I know there have been staffing issues, so perhaps this has something to do with what I mentioned above. However, an unclean facility will deter new members.

The new facility on South Broadway that just opened is about as pristine as anyone could ever hope for in a new gym. I'll start by giving a shout out to Ken who is one of the most enthusiastic and welcoming staff members I've ever seen at a gym. He definitely adds a huge degree of warmth and welcome when you walk into place.
As far as the facilities, it's all brand new equipment, locker rooms, lockers and the entire facility looks immaculate.
It looks like they've added several New pieces of equipment compared to some of the other planet fitness locations. Specifically, they've added two sets of adjustable standing cable fly machines. These are a very nice welcome addition and really versatile.
They've also doubled up on several other pieces of equipment that have been missing from some of their other facilities.
If you're familiar with planet fitness, you will know that they are different from most gyms in that they have a very limited offering of true free weights. They have dumbbells from 5 lb up to 75 lb, and they offer two sets of fixed barbells going from 20 lb to 60 lb but that is all that they offer in the way of free weights.
They do not offer any Olympic style barbell free weights, but do have 5 Smith machines. Smith machines will suffice to cover the vast majority of free weight movements people want to do, with the exception of being able to do a reasonably deep deadlift.
If lots of traditional free weights are necessity for you, planet fitness probably isn't the right fit for you.
My only criticisms of this facility are the fact that they do not offer any exercise mats they can be placed on the floor, and they also do not have the built-in combination locks on the personal lockers.
It's really nice and refreshing to be able to walk into such a clean and fresh facility! It's an amazing and welcome contrast to the 24 hour fitness locations across the state.
