We use Planet fitness about once a week. Our home Planet fitness is Bloomington, Minnesota. We haven’t changed it since we moved here since that’s not an option in the app, and we were advised we could go anywhere in the country. Normally we go to the Highlands Ranch, but have gone a few times to this one. We went 11/9/25 because Google maps showed the Highlands Ranch to be very busy, and correctly showed the Parker location to be nearly vacant.
However, we were declined admission because this was not our home Planet Fitness.
When we first moved here, my wife advised that we cancel our membership because we have weights and an excellent fitness center in our apartment complex. I responded that the monthly price wasn’t that much. I fear I made an error.
On a personal note, I prefer Highlands Ranch location over Parker because the last few times I was on the stair step machine at Parker Fox News was playing on 3 TV screens above me.
addendum: The lady at the desk, said she would let us in only if we bought a black card membership. NO other option. There’s not much incentive to have the option to go to an inferior franchise.

So far so good! I signed up with Brody yesterday and he was very professional. The facility was clean. They had a lot of cardio machines and the weight machines are organized from big muscle groups to small muscle groups. There was diversity amongst the clients, which I liked. The amenities seem awesome. I'm kind of mad I've been dragging my feet to start. I'm looking forward to the FREE personal training. Excuse me!!!

I cancelled my membership in person but was unable to sign due to “the machine” being down. I was reassured it was cancelled and my membership would end on a specific day. I was charged two additional months and my membership was never cancelled. I went in to the gym in person and spoke to the front desk and cancelled my membership again. I requested to speak to a manager looking for a refund/credit of the two months and was told the manager was not available. They took my name and number and I was told I would be getting a phone call that day. A week went by with no phone call. I went to the gym two additional times with the same result…no manager available, took my information, and no phone calls. To this day I still have not received any phone calls.

Poor review for not canceling my membership when initially asked in person. I was charged two additional months after cancelling my membership. I have gone to the gym 3 times in person to cancel my membership and to speak with a manager with no communication.

It’s a decent facility with decent equipment however the staff and managers is why I give this review. Staff and managers are the face of the organization. Proper follow through and followup is essential in any business model. I will be looking for a gym that values their customers.

Going here for about 4 years now, and let me tell you first, in the past yes must come gym in the Parker area, but has turned to the worst, liberal norms took over and made this place a prison. Shame the community has to suffer because the “rule makers” turned to wardens. Stayed for the community and workers, leaving because of the workers now. Some are great but others are to much on the case of people trying to better themselves.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Planet Fitness.
I’ve never felt so disrespected at a gym in my life. The current manager, Sara Seigneur, was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. The lack of customer service and empathy was shocking. If this is the leadership at this location, I won’t be returning—and I’ll be warning others to stay away. Planet Fitness is supposed to be a “Judgment Free Zone,” but under Sara’s management, it feels anything but.

A few machines have broken knobs or the weight is jammed so you can't change it and I don't think they are going to fix them. but the layout is pretty good and it has most every machine you can think of.

* While I love working out here, there's one issue that is absolutely disturbing.: My workout time is my 'ME' time. Time to get my heart-rate up, de-stress, focus, etc., I workout to the beat of the music traveling through my ear buds. It's generally fast-paced & uplifting... then I look up to see the bad, sad, and depressing NEWS on every channel (except the TV that's programmed to the Planet Fitness App. Seriously?

Ugh! This literally defeats the purpose of my visit! It's difficult to remain motivated when you're forced to face the BAD NEWS on TV!

PLEASE change the channels!? I rarely watch the news @ home - I certainly do not want it 'in my face', while I'm trying to enjoy my workout sessions. Thank you.

Rude rip off! Followed everything to the T when canceling and they still tried to continue charging. I did report them and seems that they have been getting many reports! Not safe to give your account info because they will take your money even when you sent them a letter stating to cancel! I had blocked them already and now another complaint. Not sure they know they get a limit without consequences and can be shut down for shady business.

Well, I am generally not one to leave a negative review but… My wife and I have been “black card” members for 3 years and this morning we finished up our work out and walked up to the counter to sign in for the tanning booth (we’re about to leave for vacation and my wife says tan fat looks much better than white fat) and we were told the booths were not available due to the complaints they are getting about the gym being too cold. Thank you #planetfitness for charging us for a service you will not allow us to use.

Been using this gym for about a year and a half now. I have been really enjoying it.

Most staff are pretty friendly and helpful, but Jesse at the front desk goes above and beyond. Every time I see him, he looks me in the eyes, offers a fist bump, and spreads positivity and encouragement. I always look forward to seeing him. He makes a difference there, and deserves acknowledgement, praise, and raise!

Ask the attendant to change the channel and she won't do in fear of losing her job she says corporate won't let her. BEWARE! This club has been deducting random monthly charges from my account over the past few years even though our account was closed. When you call in to speak with someone regarding this they refuse to provide any information for the owners or who we would need to speak with to stop this. We luckily have had our bank block them from continuing to take money and issued charge backs. The staff here is extremely unhelpful and it seems like they've been coached on how to handle and brush off shady business practices. Do not let yourself get scammed and invest yourself in a different gym.

The membership at this gym is such a great value and it’s always so clean! They also added a ton of new equipment, like stair climbers so you never have to wait to get on any type of cardio machines! This gym is a literal 2nd home. Its a safe place I feel I can just be myself, release my stress, make meaningful conversations about HEALTH AND WELLNESS. It's Winter, Dec 13th. It's freezing out. I come here and each time I try to use the tanning beds, they either have multiple bulbs out in one bed and still send people to the messed up beds and now my biggest issue is how FREEZING cold they have the air blowing in the back rooms for tanning, it's unbearable. Unacceptable. Yes, I know there needs to be proper ventilation but this is ridiculous. Just go try it for yourself, stand naked in room #4. Goodluck. I'm wasting my Blackcard membership because of how freezing it is back there. May I add, only at this location is it this freezing. It's maybe 30° back there with really high fan blowing freezing air. Everytime I come to this location. Besides this issue, it's a decent enough PF.

This gym is a great value if you intend to go to the gym. It is missing quite a few weight lifting stations as well as a full set of heavier weights you would expect to see at a “normal” gym. Missing bench press, squat rack, etc. I have mentioned this to the management but nothing has changed, the previous manager called me and told me that he is a former professional lifter and he did need any of that. My response: “good for you bro, but you are asking me how to make this place better and this is my opinion”.

I started walking during my divorce to take my mind off of everything, my hips were in a lot of pain after a few weeks. I went to the gym this morning at 8am and it was unbearably hot and humid. I heard a lot of people complaining amongst each others. I went up to the guy running front desk and he informed me that it must be because it’s hot outside. So I asked if there was AC. He said that they do not have AC at all. I am very surprised to hear this because I complained 6 months ago and the manager reached out and told me he was working on getting it fixed. I am not paying for lies. I will be canceling my membership and going to a different gym. I had enough. I complained 3 times and have almost fainted multiple times after a run on treadmill because it’s been too hot. I know it’s a cheap gym but this isn’t an excuse when Colorado gets nearly 100 degrees in summer. This morning temp was 62 degrees. This is just ridiculous for a gym.
