I got a gym membership last year. I went through the entire process of canceling it (way harder than it needs to be) i recently renewed it, and was doing great for 2 weeks. I just got stopped by the front desk, claiming I had unpaid fees. Absolute joke

I enjoy the new facility and new location. Much needed expansion & additional equipment. At the new location you don't feel crowded, you're not running into other people, you don't have to wait endlessly for equipment to work out on. The staff is always friendly and helpful. However management needs to get its staff or a private cleaning company to wipe down that equipment on a regular basis. It's not happening, you see dus, human hair & impossibly dead humans skin cells on the equipment. Management also needs to install hand sanitizers and dispensers throughout the facility as we approach the flu season.

I love Planet Fitness. I’ve been coming consistently for almost 2 years straight and the staff is fantastic. I’ve never had any complaints. The staff makes you feel very welcomed. I probably spend 10 minutes chit chatting before I leave but they are just so friendly.

The new gym setup is amazing. I can easily get lost for hours on end. The massage chairs are so comfortable and the Cryogenic Bed has saved my knees and body tremendously.

One of the cleanest guns I have been to. Staff is friendly, people are courteous. Met a FREE personal trainer! Thank you Mr. Bolt! Equipment is well maintained and really targets muscles. Just a little busy at times, BUT people are kind and let you work in. No judgement, just a breath of fresh air.

Best thing is, next month they are moving to a facility TWICE as LARGE! Hopefully more room and more equipment! Glad I joined and am happy to grow with Planet Fitness!

My husband and I were members at this planet fitness in 2015-2016 for awhile and then life got hectic and crazy, so we canceled our membership (we had to both physically go in to do so). I remember being mad because they charged us 2 weeks later for another month and when I called they said it was already being processed when we canceled, nothing they could do. I just let it go it wasn't worth it to jump through all the hoops. We moved back to pueblo and rejoined about a year and a half ago. Then we took a break and canceled for awhile. My husband went back a couple weeks ago and has been working out no problem. Today he goes in to work out swiped his card and the girl behind the desk calls out to him telling him hes not allowed to work out til he pays his balance. He was confused and said what balance and she said we owe $99 from 2016! He said for what and she said it doesn't say just that he needs to pay or he can't work out til he does. He called me and told me what happened and I told him they could have sent a letter, email, phone call, or even a text 9 years ago if we had a balance but I know we didnt. Or even a year ago when we went for awhile. But all of a sudden they changed their system and it says we owe but can't tell us more than that. No thank you. There's plenty of gyms in Pueblo that care about customer service, so he went back in and canceled, and they could have cared less. I was going to rejoin when the new location opened. Definitely not now.

Having my workout stopped. Being harassed for money at Planet fitness. I owed $64.12 I paid that and now they're asking me for 20 more dollars $22.06 to the exact... The employees in the morning are AMAZING. My sister and I go everyday at 4am and the staff are so nice and welcoming! Evan, Anthony and Alex always make us feel welcomed, especially Evan who will stand outside to make sure my sister ( who is my guest and not a member) makes it safely back inside. It’s rare ladies feel safe so early and we appreciate them tremendously.

I have been a member at 4 different locations and each in a different state over the last few three years. This one here man. It’s perfect for the night owls trying to get out of the house at a time that most are sleeping. Work great for anyone trying to avoid high traffic hours. I myself am not sure if I want to be seen during my ugly faze of fitness. Give me a few more weeks and I’ll show up at the most traffic jam hours, then I won’t care how long I have to wait inline to use my favorite piece of equipment. Y’all know what that I’m talking bout right? That’s why I go really hard when it comes to the stand-up tanning beds. I work up a good amount of sweat. It’s only 3 songs and n my play list but I am paying for it now. 9 minutes and my body is so mad that I fudged the question that they asked before I went in. Be honest or look like a half cooked lobster… I been away form the equipment for a while now so like everything else. Pace… word of the day.

First time working out here and was super disappointed. This is not my home club thank goodness. The massages chairs were old school, did not recline, did not raise legs 90 degree level to the floor like the newer models at other PF locations. Very uncomfortable massage comparatively to the massage chairs at other PF locations. And I can tell management is not reactive to these reviews as I read them before writing this one to see if I was just off. Sadly no, many of the same complaints. The men’s showers rooms were gross. The showers had no permanent place to set shampoo bottles or anything for that matter. The two showers that had hanging caddies, they were caked in built up soapp, something you would not want to touch. The shower liners were slimy and covered with orange and pink, well grossness, whatever is growing on them. Not one hook is no exaggeration from other reviewers. Not in the changing rooms, not outside on the wall between showers or anywhere. I saw old screw holes from where they used to be so I know they were once there. The one chair they provided was a folding chair and was dirty as well. The shower tile was caked with old soap grime and really needs replaced all around. I really can’t believe that Planet Fitness allows such a club to tarnish their brand. It’s quite sad actually. This club needs some major attention and fast.

This rating is tough. I’m a truck driver so parking is first concern for me. There aren’t posted signs for no truck parking or anything like that. I got a knock at my door at 10:30 saying I need to leave the property. I’m not bothering anyone and I’m a customer of the property, mall cop didn’t agree. If you’re a truck driver they will not let us take our break here even though the parking lot is empty and literally not bothering anyone, no respect. The gym was up to par in every way but avoid this location unless you’re in and out.

Wanted to add an update. I came back the next day because this was on my route during the day. A sign is in the parking lot for no overnight parking so rules are rules and that’s all good. Just wanted to give a heads up for truckers

Don't give them your bank account info--they hijack your account and in the app shows you didn't pay, but your bank statement shows they charged you a series of different amounts and OVER PAID.

Nice place. Took shower and showerhead was spraying out everywhere except where it was supposed to. No water pressure at all. Sucks they have no towels like other gyms. Nice and clean and tons of equipment to use. I love that they have a tan and massaging bed but bed kinda hurts instead of feeling better after. But overall good place for gym.

.Discrimination of out of town and out of state travelers.
The clerk at this Planet Fitness, even though I have a Black Card membership, stopped me when I scanned in and told me I have to sign a piece of paper because I am from out of town. I have an agreement with Planet Fitness and pay for a Black Card membership every month. The membership grants members to go ANYWHERE and to any Planet Fitness not just a home base club.
Just goes to show you always go by your gut instinct when and after reading horrible reviews of a business. I should have skipped by this one instead of wasting my time as I did not use this gym.

Not one hook to hang your things in the changing rooms. Not even a bench. After a shower you get to balance your gym bag, old clothes, shower stuff etc all on the one folding chair they provide. I know they're probably SUPER expensive but maybe you could splurge on some clothes hooks so your guests can use the changing area without having their things on a wet dirty floor? What do you think, giant corporation? Think that's something you can squeeze into the budget??

Also only one fly machine. Losing another star for having one of the most popular machine that's always taken. This isn't hard PF, you just have to pay a little attention

THINK THREE TIMES BEFORE GETTING A MEMBERSHIP HERE.
This company will do EVERYTHING in their power to avoid you canceling. This company bets on the fact that people who aren’t committed to going to the gym will sign a 12 month agreement and be stuck paying $100+ for a service you don’t use.
I only had a planet fitness membership as a back up Incase I needed to go to the gym after hours of my home gym and I fully regret it. Not only is the gym itself not worth the headache but neither is the constant deals they run encouraging teenagers to litter their gyms. Don’t do it, get a membership at a locally owned gym. If I were a betting man, I’d put money on the fact that the job application for new hires has a requirement of “bad attitude” because out of the 2 years I attended this Pueblo location 9/10 employees had an attitude and gave off the idea that they’d rather not be bothered by guests for ANYTHING. (After I mentioned I wanted to cancel my membership the employees I was talking to stepped to the side and said “our manger can help you” and didn’t inform the manager but let me take the initiative to inform him of the problem)

Don’t be fooled by their fake reviews if you go to yelp or you look up their headquarters there are 2.5 at this gym out of five stars and their headquarter is 1.4 stars. Either way leaves me to my point that this is a very facetious gym Extremely dirty bad attitude with staff as well as management. I would stay away from this gym due to the lack of intelligence from their employees, but that’s mainly due to their management at being incompetent at their job. The only way that you can change the attitude of the employees is by management training their employees correctly. Highly disappointed with the disrespect and the communication of this facility and their staff. I would also watch your children around this club. They don’t do background checks and when you pay this little for a membership, be smart enough to make your own hypothesis on who comes into this gym. Especially the location. It’s up to you to make a decision whether or not this gym is right for you, but just taking the consideration you get what you pay for. My husband and I have been a planet Fitness black card number for years. We have been to many other planet fitness in the area. Saturday it was our first time ever going to the planet fitness in Pueblo. We were not treated with even basic common courtesy while there because it was not our “home gym” According to the workers. They were rude and stuck up. The lady working the front desk wouldn’t even let us use the black spa area because it wasn’t our home gym! I am a member of planet fitness and have paid my dues for 2yrs strait. I moved from Colorado springs to pueblo and have spent many hours trying to figure out why I can only go here 10x a month as a guest. Iv updated my address on the app. Iv called springs and pueblo locations more times then I can count. This should be my home gym but why management of establishment can't get my address changed is beyond me. I'm tired of the phone calls and doing the work. It shouldn't be this hard to move 35min away and have a home gym. I pay but haven't gone in a couple months because I'm so irritated and tired of trying to make the switch to this place being my home gym. It's one phone call after another. Poor business ethics. I usually go anywhere from 1-3 in the morning and the workers are always kind. They greet you and when you leave they say goodbye. I don't have a black card but if you get one, the benefits of it seem pretty cool, like there's a tanning bed and that water massage chair. I quit due to 50% price increase (she did not ask us, total surprise)- 3 stars for bad economics. It's not worth the extra commute time. By raising the price by 50%, combined with the cost of driving to the facility, suddenly, it's so much more affordable to pay $50/month for a location really close to home. Do the math, kids. What exactly is your time worth? What are the risks involved with driving to a dangerous area? How much gas do you use. Look at the BIG PICTURE.

Another one in Phoenix is pretty bad and then this one has a horrible situation every time I come here with the bathroom they’re always filthy. They have one stall for the whole gym for all the males it’s kind of exhausting.!! Always a good and chill experience! The staff has always been kind and very friendly with me, and always greet me with a smile and say goodbye with a smile. I like the variety of equipment ,although some equipment seems to break down regularly, the locker rooms and gym are clean (I always have seen staff cleaning), and the music has gotten better. All in all, a good experience.

I pay for a membership and don't go because working an 8-5 leaves me with either stupid early or late night workouts. You'd be hard pressed to get anything done Mon-Thur (hit or miss on Thur). When I signed up, it was not very clearly indicated that your "guest pass" is only when you are present. Literally says nothing in the app until the staff tells you at the check-in. Raising the cost really disappointing but given that this is the first ever price increase it seem pretty justified.

Hate to give it a bad rating, love the location and love the fact that it's 24 hours. I didn't really run into any problems in the gym actually working out. I complaints are that I went to use the red light therapy total body machine and that's the clerk and they told me to sign up with a kiosk which I found to be cumbersome. Then it didn't work and he had to manually give me access to the machine. However 6 minutes into the therapy session the machine stops working and the red light shut off and wouldn't turn on yet it kept vibrating the floor. I pointed this out to the clerk who didn't care and who I assume might be the manager he seemed depressed but didn't offer any consultation or even apologize. As if he didn't plan on fixing it. l then went to the locker room to take a shower. First of all my locker door only has one hinge on it The other two are broken off so it barely hangs on. There were no hooks anywhere by the showers to hang anything, rhat was annoying. Worse than that two of the showers did not even get hot, one of them has the handle broken off, and the last one, handicap shower was the only one with hot water. It was shooting water out the side of the hose so it so it likely won't last long? So one out of four showers worked (kind of). This gym needs a lot of work in the men's locker room and the red light therapy machine I hope they can do it although the manager or whoever it was that I talked to at the front didn't make me feel sure. Hopefully this review Sparks change and I'll even consider changing my review if the manager of the gym responds with a much more wholesome response.

This has never been my top choice for gyms in Pueblo but it’s nice to have a membership when traveling, that’s the only reason I keep it.
First thing is it’s always over crowded so I can never get on the machines I need. Second, I have the black card membership and always get hassled when I bring a guest. The amenities like tanning and massage are low quality. When I visit the Planet Fitness in Fountain, it is cleaner, not overly crowded, and their amenities are top notch. And… Fountain is not my “home” gym but they never hassle me. Actually no other Planet Fitness I’ve been to across the country has ever hassled me for not being my home gym. Pueblo Planet Fitness won’t even let my husband in because he signed up at the Fountain location. I don’t know who is running the place but I think it needs to be looked into because they are doing a terrible job.

Your Planet Fitness staff are “ALWAYS” professional, welcoming, and kind. They are “ALL” second to none.

The new Trainer CJ is “OUTSTANDING.”

He is really courteous, and caring, but most of all he is extremely knowledgeable about health, wellness, fitness, and the wide variety of exercise equipment available.

CJ exceeds all my expectations as a personal trainer. He is always willing to help and answer any questions I have.

I absolutely love the positive environment you have created.

Horrible business practices, don't sign up unless you want planet fitness to charge your card month after month even after you cancel in person, call multiple times and ask for your card information to be removed, try to get your bank to stop transactions.. This corporation is despicable and can't even follow their own basic rules. All they care about is taking your money.

Worker at the desk is extremely rude, unaccomodating to those with disabilities and the Ada shower was disgusting. Have never experienced this at other locations & will not be coming back to this one.

Always friendly staff ,Clean, but some machines are always temporarily out of service Update: 1/3/23 Showers are always dirty Staff will let you just stand at the counter and talk amongst themselves.

I love planet fitness. The gym has every piece of equipment and person could imagine. Way too many tvs to watch, wonderful staff and did I forget to mention the most affordable price around!!! The price is what originally called me in but since joining everything they have to offer has been way better than every expected!!

There needs to be women working the night shift because there needs to be better protection of the women’s stalls. I called multiple times to let the male worker know that I was in the stall and he proceeded to come in the room and also throw away my belongings because he “hadn’t heard me“if he wasn’t wearing his earphones all night maybe he would have heard me better yet if it was a woman maybe she would’ve noticed I was changing in the stall. I lost my Dior belongings because of his carelessness and ignoring me.

Good machines. Usually not too crowded and quick to handle issues. The restrooms could use more attention than they usually get but they aren’t gross, just not as maintained as most places.
