My wife and I have been traveling the last 2 years so this was our 8th gym and by far my favorite. The classes motivate you to come every day. Sav was an amazing coach that makes you feel like a friend from the first class. Everyone that I interacted with when i was there was super friendly and encouraging. I also noticed the most gains from this gym too so that was a huge bonus. 10/10 experience and cant wait to pop in for a noon class sometime in the future when were back in Denver!

Sav helped me work on some much needed form issues I had for quite some time. Being able to lift pain free has changed the game on my quality of life. I cannot thank Sav enough!

The prices are absurd for what you get. I think the people are great here, but I could never justify $150/month for only open gym when the equipment isn’t even all that nice compared to other gyms in the area.

Great programming and coaches that understand more than your average trainer.

The equipment is top of the line.

When I attended, there was an on site infrared sauna.

Popped in in a day pass while traveling. The staff was friendly. They make very good use of a tight space. Even while holding group classes, I was able to get a platform.

I used this gym when I lived in RiNo in 2022! Coach George makes AMAZING workouts that helped me get stronger 💪🏼 the open gym format is sooo convenient and the sauna is a huge bonus, I was in it almost every day. It was waiting for me after working out.

This gym has transferred to new ownership and I know it is in amazing hands with Ericka! Excited to see what she’ll do with the community at Platform.

Platform Strength is such an incredible gym, I've been going there for about a year now and unfortunately just had to move along due to work travel requirements / scheduling, but the gym, Em, and the people who go there are all great! It's a beautiful, uplifting space, and if you're trying to get into working out (for any level type) or expand your fitness journey, I'd highly recommend you get involved with Platform - they do a great job.

Adding some more info after reading some comments below, I've never felt weird or offput by any trainers or people who go there - people mind their business, always down to chat, super friendly.

Great energy at this gym, it has a very positive vibe and everyone I talked to was friendly.

It felt like a home gym away from home.

This gym is bringing health and balance back into the fitness industry.

Red light suana, nice restrooms and quality equipment to get the job done.

I have been going to Platform for over 4 years now. I drive all the way from Englewood because it truly is worth the drive and I have yet to see any closer gyms offer what Platform does. I've gotten immensely stronger than I ever would have if I worked out alone. It's 100% worth every penny. I know it isn't cheap but you'll never go back to a "big box" gym once you've experienced Platform.

My top 3 reasons that I'll be a forever member:
1. The coaches. Coach Sav, Coach Mary, Coach George, and Coach April are top tier, high caliber coaches. I have been lifting for 6 years now and they still give me tips and tricks each class to help my lifts. They really know their stuff. Beyond their knowledge, each coach also creates a very welcoming environment whether you have been lifting for 10 years or 10 days. They are all very talented individuals and are the main reason I keep coming back. The classes are capped at 15 people so you really get very hands on coaching despite it being a class format.
2. The programming. Coach George plans out each cycle meticulously to ensure we are maximizing the muscle gains. The programming is included in the membership and it's so nice never having to think about my workouts and knowing someone has put a lot of energy into the plan. He has it down to a science and I've seen major results because of it. The most recent 6 week cycle, I lost 5% body fat and gained 3lbs of muscle (tracked via the InBody machine that is free for members to use). Before Platform my deadlift PR was 185lbs and it is now at 295lbs. The numbers really speak for themselves.
3. Lastly, but arguably most important, the community is what keeps me coming back. I love the class format and I love the friends I've made through the gym. There have been many times where I didn't have the motivation to go to the gym but the accountability of knowing a coach + my classmates are there waiting for me continues to get me out of bed and to the gym day after day. It's fun watching each other PR on lifts and seeing everyone cheer each other on. It's the best start to my day!

I could honestly go on and on about why you should join but take home message- if you are looking for a gym to get really strong at and grow really big muscles, this is the place for you.

Gonna preface this with saying that I was visiting from New York, and that I don't like doing reviews for anything.

Probably the best gym I've ever had the pleasure of using. It is a 24/7 gym that has everything you need to get big and strong while also limiting your risk for injury. It's a bit compact, but the way everything is set up gives you more than enough room to train comfortably. Easy access and friendly staff members that were quick to answer all my questions. Everything was super clean as well. Spoke to a member and pricing for membership seemed very reasonable, and they seem to offer group classes as well. If I lived in Denver, I would join in a heartbeat.

First, I wanted to address Derek’s review below. I personally met Derek and had a few interactions with him so I can speak to our interactions and his experience a bit.

No one was ever being condescending towards Derek, it was all love. Derek is an amazing athlete and incredibly strong, we’ve never had anyone walk in off the streets, come in, casually do reps of 3 45# plates for weighted dips and pull ups. You can imagine how stunned we were, the compliments he received were genuine. I’m not trying take away from Derek’s experience but it sounds like he has a warped sense of how he views the world based on past events and traumas. It sucks he left, any gym is lucky to have such a strong and chill guy like him.

My personal experience with Platform is a 5/5. Love the programming, 24 hour access, good location, and sauna. The community is friendly and open. The only cons are the space is a little limited if you’re going to work out solo and not take class so avoid those times and just like any small business they deal with some business operational challenges.

Overall, they’re awesome. Go if you’re looking to get strong and jacked in a chill atmosphere with some cool folks

Very clean and compact gym in Denver. Advertised as a powerlifting gym. If you are an experienced lifter this may not be the place for you. No power bars, squat bars, or deadlift bars. They have Rep fitness bars with Olympic knurling on them. The plates are also all bumpers, I wasn’t able to pull my programmed weight because they won’t all fit on the bar.

Doing deadlift sets of 3 with a controlled lowering of the bar resulted in complaints from upstairs neighbors (not members or leadership of the gym to be clear).

The woman I dealt with was very kind and helpful, I am sure this place is a fantastic start for people looking to get into the compound lifts.

Amazing equipment at a small super convenient location. Received extreme passive aggressiveness from everyone I encountered. The coaches I interacted with seemed to have an automatic issue with me which was weird. I never disrespected any of the members nor coaches, never took up space, tried to clean after myself as much as possible and left people alone to enjoy their own workouts.

One of the coaches (George I believe is his name) gave me a weird backhanded, passive aggressive "compliment" about something "actually being impressive", I'm not even sure where all that came from. I turned around due to hearing someone screaming over my music assuming someone got hurt (I was doing pullups in the corner away from everyone, I don't excessively grunt nor am I loud while at the gym). Another, Coach Sav, made a really strange comment towards me that gave me weird racial vibes about how I "looked like some other guy" (I hate to jump to conclusions and assume it's about color but the whole interaction with her was odd).

Another weird experience was with a member who happened to be on the platform next to me while I was doing deadlifts. He decided to rudely interrupt my workout and condescendingly offered his "help" with loading my bar. He followed it up with a backhanded statement of "working smarter not harder" (trying to insinuate I'm stupid for just putting the plates on the bar). I've never talked to this man a day in my life and he rudely decided to insert himself into my workout and take away from my time. I didn't need or ask for help nor did I say anything to him that would provoke animosity towards me. I quickly grew tired of the consistent condescension from the staff and fellow members. I quit after a week to find a normal place to lift and enjoy my workouts.

Weirdest experience I've ever had at a public gym. It may be the environment for you, however for what I was looking for it just wasn't a great fit. It feels like if Mean Girls opened a gym, that's the vibe this place gave me.

Platform was great! We came in to Denver from DC for a quick trip and wanted a workout in the morning. The space was fun down in RiNo. The coaches were nice and the process was easy. A quick waiver online and we were set. Thanks again Platform.

Amazing gym in Denver! I recently dropped in while on vacation to the area and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, the gym was clean, and the class itself was a great workout. If I am ever lucky enough to be back in the area, I will definitely stop by again.

Great gym for out-of-towners looking for Olympic or other barbell training. Very friendly staff, very clean facility, new equipment. My recommendation would be to try to avoid class times if you are running your own program, but with 24/7 access, that should be no problem for almost anyone.

By offering classes throughout the day plus open gym access with top of the line equipment, Platform Strength goes beyond what any typical gym can offer. The classes are capped at 15 people which allows for individualized feedback and attention from Platform's super knowledgeable coaches. The main focus of each class is one power lifting move followed by three different accessory programs that you can choose from. After joining in February, I not only have gained strength, muscle, and confidence, but I have gained an incredible support system that I am so happy to call my Platform family. Seriously do not hesitate to drop in and try out a class - the coaches and members are all so friendly and welcoming!

I was super excited to try this gym because I thought it checked all the boxes: heavy lifting, encouragement of functional training, community, convenience. After reviewing the website and google business, it appeared it was open 24/7 (it says this in many places on the website), that all day Sunday was “open gym” and that I could drop in for $25. I went on a Sunday at 1p and there was no staff on site. When I called the number, they said I couldn’t drop in on a weekend. This was super frustrating for me for a few reasons: I was an eager, excited potential customer and was really let down about not being able to try the gym; the website is misleading - I didn’t see anywhere that you had to purchase a drop in ahead of time or that drop ins aren’t possible on the weekends, only that they gym is “24/7 access”; with memberships at $120/mo+ I’d expect more thorough customer service, professionalism and attention to detail. Be sure to call before you go for the first time to get reliable info!
