Primal Performance is a performance gym focusing on speed, strength, power, and injury rehab strength and conditioning. Aside from training Middle School, High School, College, and Professional athletes, we also have an inclusive and personalized Adult Fitness Program and a Return to Sport Program for athletes of all ages coming back from injury/surgery.

My 15 year old son doesn’t care for weight training, but has seen such huge results from his workouts at Primal that he is totally committed. His vertical is up 6 inches in 4 months, and he says that it has given him more confidence on the basketball court allowing him to move faster, and play a more physical game. He said improvements in his game are all thanks to Primal.

I have 2 daughters who started working out at Primal a couple of months ago. We signed them up to help build strength and speed for their competitive sports, and for injury prevention, and it's been awesome for all of those things. An amazing side effect, that I hadn't even thought of when I signed them up, has been the impact on their mentality. They are in the best moods after their sessions, and excited to see visible progress. I feel like the postive environment at Primal, the challenging workouts, plus the fantastic coaches, are all helping to build confidence in them that will translate over to their sports. Highly recommend!

We’ve had a fantastic experience with Primal for my teenage son. The trainers are knowledgeable, encouraging, and really know how to work with teens—focusing on building strength, confidence, and proper technique. My daughter has loved the middle school program at Primal. The coaches are encouraging and fun, and the kids have a really positive, fun community. I began going to Primal following a couple of knee surgeries at the recommendation of my physical therapist. I’m so glad she recommended Primal! Coaches, Harry, Cat, and Blake are so knowledgeable about the best ways for me to get my strength back. My workouts are tailored just for me and I feel confident that I’m doing the best things for my body to be able to get back to doing all the active things I love to do in Colorado! The environment is very welcoming and there is a ton of equipment to allow you to advance each month and never get bored!

Primal has been fantastic with workouts focused on what my son needs to support his hockey training. They take the time to understand the areas he needs to improve in and support continued changes to workouts to meet those needs. He comes out with a smile and continues to want to go back - telling me he is having fun while working hard. The best part has been his coaches talking to him about how ready he is for the season and noticing the improvements that Primal helped him reach. I came to Primal four years after an Achilles surgery. I had returned to 85% with PT and exercise but had yet to get over the mental hurdle to sprint or pick up a racket again. PT often focuses on return to daily life. If you’re looking for return to fitness/getting back in shape post-surgery, this is your place. They’ve helped me strengthen surrounding muscles, combat the apathy, and focus on other areas (the much needed core after two kids). Adult training has all types of athletes so I never feel “out of place,” at the gym. The trainers are helpful, kind, and the atmosphere is encouraging and inspiring!

Coach Harry and his staff at primal are some of the most professional and hard working people I’ve ever met. Coach Harry is changing the strength and conditioning game for the better and truly cares about all of his athletes.
He took me in two months before a walk on tryout at Boulder and prepped me for one of the best combine showcases of my life.
If you are training for a sport or just want to move and feel better in life. This is the place to go. Harry’s training philosophy should be in every high school and college weight room and a primal in every state would be sick.

Both our kids play competitive sports. Since starting with Primal, we have seen an improvement with speed, agility, and strength on the field. The strength workouts are tailored to the kids. When they had an injury Primal has done a great job supporting their recovery and even coordinating with Therapist on exercises. Harry, Kat and Alex are genuinely interested in the kids which is evident in the regular inquiries as to how they are doing and even visiting a game. When I heard they had Adult sessions, i jumped on it for the same reasons. They tailor workouts for you to support your goals but also to push you. The gym has great positive energy and is no non-nonsense. It is definitely an athletes gym! Even if you are an older one! Music is good too.

Primal is the best gym for any athlete looking to improve their overall fitness level. Harry and all of the trainers put together the perfect workouts to optimize the athletes - whether it be speed, strength, or mind. Everything with Primal is well thought out so each athlete can excel at their particular level.
Not only has our team been prepared for the season start, but Primal also helped with in-season workouts to help the athletes have perfect maintenance routines. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for team workouts, as well as individuals looking for trainers that truly care about their individual fitness goals.

Five stars do not do Primal Performance justice! With their sport specific programming, they helped me increase endurance and power which is critical for triathlons. After working with them for a year before my race, my full Ironman distance time was reduced by an hour and thirty minutes! Power on the bike dramatically increased, pace-per-mile decreased for running, and hip and shoulder strength improved for faster swimming. Most importantly, they enhanced my body recovery which is critical for the daily grind of training. Primal is worth every penny!

Been going here ever since I can remember, and can’t say you’d get better quality of work anywhere else. They have it down to a science and whatever your needs or aspirations are they definitely will get you there (and eventually passed them). My son tore his ACL in September and was told that pre-op work was a necessity to a quick recovery. Primal was recommended to us and I can’t be more thankful for that. Harry and his team are the best. Pre-op our son didn’t even look injured thanks to the program he put together. And post-op Harry has worked hand-and-hand with our PT and the results are amazing. Our son is far ahead of schedule and already running faster at 6 most post-op than he was before the injury. The Primal team’s positive attitude and energy has made a horrible injury a positive experience. Whether it’s return to sport or simply working to get better, I cannot recommend Harry and the Primal team more. A+ experience.

I joined Primal after meeting Harry at a golf tournament and learning that they weren't just another gym but a truly unique place with some of the most amazing trainers in the business. As an adult client, the team builds a customized plan tailored to my fitness goals and unique needs.

Simply the best gym, staff, programming, community, and overall experience you will have personally and/or professionally. I have had the great pleasure in working with Primal for my own personal fitness, as well as training for the team I coach.
Alex Ordaz has been instrumental from tailoring our team training all the way from a freshman stepping foot into the weight-room for the first time, to our seniors playing at the Division 1 level next year. Prior to Primal, our team was averaging around 5 players getting hurt every season, to last year having 0. The team has enhanced their performance exponentially in strength, speed, endurance, and mobility.
Personally, Harry Glor has been a fantastic leader and mentor in getting my washed up athlete self back into performing at a high level. 2015 I tore my hamstring to which I could never really get pass my PR many years later. Within 3 months of working out at Primal, I surpassed it. In addition, I have simply been in the best physical shape of my life while being at Primal.

Primal Performance has been a gamechanger for my 14-year-old multisport athlete. He has worked out with Harry, Alex and Cat for 2 years and has shown noticeable improvement in speed and strength. Harry and his team are knowledgeable and competent (Believe me, in the youth sports realm, many instructors/organizations are not competent), plus they make it fun for the kids. I highly recommend for any youth athlete. Not only will they get better, but they will also learn how to lift with correct form. Definitely, one of the premier sports performance gyms around.

I joined primal because I wanted to get faster and stronger. I was headed to play college basketball and I knew I needed to step up my speed and strength training. Primal prepared me to go into my freshman season because I was faster, stronger, and more athletic. When I first started at Primal I had the athleticism to get by in basketball, but while training at Primal I have developed the athleticism to excel. My favorite thing about primal is the community and the energy. My program is personalized to my needs and the trainers were always there to help me excel. I am most proud of how much more explosive I have gotten. Because of the training I did at Primal, I am faster and jump higher, things that I have been able to implement in college practices and games. I was able to achieve that level because of the programming and the competitive speed training sessions. The work that I have done with Harry and Alex set me up for success in college and allowed me to grow as an athlete!

Primal was an immense help with my return to sport process. I had perviously been struggling with an ongoing ankle injury for two years and got surgery in August. The coaches and structure of primal were a huge support for me in regaining my strength and confidence going into my junior year track season. I have never felt this strong going into a season with the help of primal. I plan on going back to primal after my track season to continue improving on my athletics and discipline. Overall primal has a great program and connection with their athletes by helping them achieve their personal goals. The coaches are very inspirational, creating a very motivational environment for athletes.

My 3 sons have gone to Primal on and off. They love it. I feel that Harry, Alex, and Cat have some secret sauce they use with all of their clients to get them excited about fitness, working hard, and having fun. I cannot explain how they have ignited a passion for fitness and excellence in the kids but it has happened. We are delighted with the Primal fitness program for 7th grader. Our daughter is a competitive softball player who started at Primal a few months ago to improve her strength and running technique. She loves the primal workouts. The coaches are super supportive, and she comes home in a great mood after every workout. She is gaining confidence, strength, and speed. My 16 year old son and 17 year old daughter both go to Primal. When they both started there they each had an individual assessment and conversation with the trainers to determine each athletes goals. Both kids got separate programs to support their individual sports and individual goals (son baseball, daughter is a swimmer). Throughout the trainers are constantly giving them feedback and helping challenge them. They work with the kids schedule for in season and out of season also around important competitions. Both my kids have seen gains in strength, mobility and speed which have helped them up their game and perform at a higher level. The knowledge that Harry, Kat and Alex have is second to none. The environment in Primal is positive, competitive but everyone in there is working hard. Our biggest regret is that we did not start there sooner!

This is the best place to receive training in Colorado. Whether you're a pro athlete, or just want to have fun and stay in shape, Coach Harry trains you in a way that is best for your body specifically.
His attention to detail and client feedback will help you reach your goals and beyond. I used to over train year after year and burn myself out by the time tryouts came, but by putting my trust in Harry, I learned to listen to my body and train properly.

Coach Harry has been nothing short of amazing. We luckily found him when my son was 12 and his body was rapidly changing. Coach Harry trained him how to run properly and he quickly became one of the fastest kids on his team. He has to taught him how to lift weights correctly on his own and made him the physically fit and disciplined athlete he is today.

Coach Harry Glor approach to athletic performance is really customized to the athlete. For younger elementary to middle school the focus is on how to improve athletic movements no matter the sport. With my high school son who plays football and lacrosse, the coaching is focused on functional movements for these sports. Harry is a former Division I college athlete so he understands the young athletes mindset which transitions to physical improvements on the field!
