At Project 13 Gyms we provide individualized training in a group setting helping people achieve their full potential through fitness.
We provide a unique spin on a traditional strength and conditioning model that will allow you to build strength and fitness through the use of barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, bodyweight movements, rowers, ski ergs and fan bikes. In addition to that, we’ve refined our method over time to ensure that we provide workouts that will improve performance without sacrificing longevity.

Ive had a great time joining this community and the programming is first class. The gym is focused on 6 week blocks. Classes are split between upper strength, lower strength, and conditioning, with a Saturday team challenge workout. Progress in major compound lifts are tracked over 6 weeks on a community board. The community is great, gathering on Saturdays after the team workout, and there are monthly happy hours after the Friday evening class. Having had a personal trainer for 5 years, I wanted a gym that focused on block programming. This provides the best of both worlds a fun class environment and a targeted plan focused on results. While other gyms like Barry’s or Orange Theory are great, they’re one off classes, if you’re looking to progress, meet great people who push you, and make you want to show up, look no further.

If you’re looking for quality training & a fitness community to be apart of, Project 13 is it!
I came with a friend for their bring-a-friend week & was so impressed with the programming & how friendly everyone is. After the Saturday work out, most of class even went to lunch together & invited me & my friends that were just trying it out.
I moved to Denver this year & have been looking for a place to work out & make friends. I highly recommend people that live in the area or are new to Denver to check this place out!

I genuinely love this gym so much! Thomas makes you feel like a friend from the first time you walk in. He is so involved with the workouts & pushes you to be your version of an athlete. I found P13 through some google searches after my last gym closed and while I was on the hunt for a new one.
This gym is amazing. A lot of gyms talk about community but this gym really takes it to a different level. When I first joined I always felt included and never offput or uncomfortable.
The owner, Thomas, is very knowledgeable in fitness and provides a comprehensive plan to help you meet your fitness needs and goals. Workouts include weightlifting, cardio, core work, etc. I highly recommend to at least give their intro offer a try or join a class through class pass.

I’ve run my own calisthenics gym and been all about fitness for years, so I’m pretty picky about who I let coach me. When I joined Project 13, I was looking to get into mindful strength training and I was really impressed by Thomas and the whole crew. There’s a real sense of integrity and they genuinely care about making sure you’re comfortable and getting the most out of every workout. Now that I’m in my 40s, I don’t snap back like I used to, and I need more time to recover. I love how everyone at P13 sees each of us as unique and meets us right where we are. They push me hard but also help me tweak exercises to avoid any injuries. Looking forward to seeing where I can take my fitness with their help. Definitely recommend checking them out!

Beautiful, clean, and well run space! All the machines and weights are top of the line and well maintained. There are clean towels and ample equipment for all.
More importantly; I’m newly pregnant and the coach Thomas was amazing with understanding my body’s new needs and limitations.
The classes are run well, they are PR based where you track your own progress for preselected GAINSZ— this works amazing for me and I’ve been seeing fantastic progress as a result.
Really encouraging atmosphere; I came in not wanting to make friends but sure enough everyone was friendly and made this little grinch heart grow 8 sizes too big.

I've been going to P13 for a little over a year now, and it's been an excellent experience from day 1 from both a coaching / fitness perspective and from a community perspective. I've been doing some sort of training for about 20 years at this point, and have tried all kinds of strength / conditioning / cardio / HIIT / etc. classes and gyms, and created my own programs for myself. I really enjoy the strength programs run at P13, and feel that they are incredibly functional and focus on quality movements and adjusting to an individual's fitness level to ensure that you're getting what you need out of each workout. Additionally, the community is second to none. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and classes have the feel of a (very strenuous, ha) social hour at times. It's an all-around great experience!

Effective, educational, and welcoming. Project 13 offers a well rounded schedule. The community is friendly and the facilities are clean. I’ve also tried F45, and while I liked the experience, I found it easier to follow the exercises and get even more personalized attention at P13.
The owner, Thomas, is super helpful for anyone new to the motions and makes it a point to get to know everyone individually. He has helped me identify how to work around back injuries, and I look forward to tracking progress in the weeks to come. Highly recommended 👍👍

When you walk into the doors of P13 you instantly feel welcomed into a community and the people there are so real and encouraging. I am a shy person and group fitness classes have been hard for me to integrate into so finding a place that helped me break out of this is incredible.
The workouts are hard and the community and coaches around you make them feel easy. Thomas is such a great coach, very professional, fun and educated. 11/10 recommend this place for anyone looking to get jacked and have fun while doing so.

So glad to have found this gym! It provides a great mix of functional movement training and weight lifting. Class sizes are relatively small - usually no more than 15 people - and there's plenty of space to move around. The coach, Thomas, provides really helpful instruction and form corrections. Class attendees are a nice mix - men and women, young and old, and super friendly. Dedicated parking is nice too!

I've been a member at Project 13 for about 3 months now and can't say enough good things. If you're looking for an awesome community and a excellent fitness program, this is the place. It all starts with Thomas, the owner/coach, who has cultivated a great culture inside the gym. He makes everyone feel comfortable and is one of the more thoughtful fitness instructors I've encountered. The training program is very well designed and the progress I've seen in just 3 months has been so satisfying. Highly recommend anyone give it a try.

I'm getting close to six months with Project 13 and could not be loving it more.
I first came to P13 after seeing a friend's progress after about a month of joining. She had gotten so strong! At the time I was a pretty dedicated HIIT person, but I decided to give P13 a try. After just two sessions I decided to commit myself to this training program, and I'm so glad I did!
Thomas the owner is great. Not only is he super knowledgable, but he's been incredibly supportive when it comes to helping me reach my goals. He's also really fun to be around and has built a truly wonderful community that I look forward to seeing every day. Beyond happy and grateful!

I can't start my day unless I kick it off at Project 13! I've worked out at this gym in both locations (SF + Denver) and have never been in better shape. The owner/coach is incredibly knowledgeable and programs the workouts perfectly! They always start with stretching and a warm up and end with a cool down and additional functional training. Aside from the workouts, as a new Denver resident I now feel like I have community with all of the great members of P13! #neverleaving

Project 13 is the first gym I have been a member of and I can't say enough good things about it! Thomas (owner/coach) has been extremely helpful getting me comfortable with all of the new movements and workouts while also pushing me to be better each time I'm in there. I couldn’t agree more with the other outstanding reviews. A buddy referred me to P13 and it’s been a great experience. The owner Thomas professionally programs the six-week blocks focused on improving in specific areas of fitness. So even newer people that aren’t as familiar to programming see a huge improvement from training vs. “working out”.
Speaking of people — the community is awesome! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming to anyone of all fitness levels who either join or stop by while visiting Denver for work, etc. The availability of both morning and late afternoon classes make it easy to schedule my workouts if I have an early or later start to my workday, and the parking situation is great.
If you’re looking for a gym or want to add a little variety to what you’re doing now, give P13 a shot and you won’t regret it!

Thomas and his gym Project 13 are the best!! I was doing ClassPass for 2 years trying to find something that stuck and worked for me. Seriously the best gym I have ever been to. I’ve tried a number of other “interval training” gyms and haven’t been that impressed with the results or quality of instruction. I’ve been a member here a few months now, and feel like I am making noticeable gains. Thomas does a great job in focusing on actually helping you get stronger. I'm new to Denver and a friend who attended P13 classes at the San Francisco location highly recommended this gym and Thomas, owner/coach. I joined in December and this is the best gym I've ever belonged to. The workouts are laid out in a clear and concise way and Thomas makes sure everyone is comfortable with the exercises but also encourages me to lift heavier than I think I can. Everyone I've met in class so far is helpful and friendly and I already feel a sense of community there.

I worked out at the original P13 location when I was living in San Francisco. I've tried many, many gyms in Denver before P13 opened its second location here. There's really nothing that compares. Thomas will get to know you, your goals, your injuries and suggest modifications or alternate exercises if you need them. He's also great about coaching proper form and pays attention to everyone. I've never had to chase him across the room to ask a question. P13 has challenging workouts that are always changing, but 2 things truly set this place apart: the community and the top-notch coaching. We start every class by introducing ourselves by name. It's so simple, yet no other gym I've been to in Denver does this. It attracts cool people and I've made friends here. If you want music so loud you can't hear the instructor, 50 people in a class moving through stations like fitness robots, look elsewhere. If you want a gym that you actually look forward to going to where the instructor cares about your success, you're in luck that P13 is now open.

Just started here a month ago and I am loving it! I came from CrossFit & loved it, but didn’t love how injury prone I was by doing those crazy workouts. P13 is awesome because the classes are small and you get to lift weights in a very safe, controlled manner. If you like lifting weights in a social environment, then you’ll love Project 13! :) Also, shout-out to Thomas for being such a great coach!

If you are looking for a group training setting but aren’t into CrossFit or other group facilities overly focused on cardio, Project 13 is your spot. Location, programming, and environment are all excellent and will leave you stronger and fitter than before. Thomas, the owner, is a skillful coach with lots of experience coming from Project 13’s original location in the Bay Area.
