PUSH Gym has been voted in as the Reader's Choice Award for best Gym in Denver 2024!! We are so Grateful! Thanks to all.
Push Gym is a Physical Therapy, Personal Training and Small Group Circuit - HIIT facility that has been serving clients in the Denver area since 2004. Our workouts are designed to be efficient and difficult, though always manageable. We adjust and change each session to give you a different and challenging workout every time you come in. Whether in a one-on-one session or in a small group, we can manage all levels of fitness from off-the-couch to the high-end athlete.
PUSH, a locally owned gym doesn't have to follow big box gym or small corporate run rules, we create new, challenging workouts every day.

I started training with Christopher at the beginning of this year, and working out with him has put me in better shape than I've had in years. He pays attention to my previous injuries and works to strengthen the areas around them, and has an expert handle on how to gradually increase resistance and weight for me to get stronger without pushing myself too far. I have gone to MANY gyms in the metro area but this gym is hands down one of the best! The trainers are AMAZING! Shout to Kara who kicks my ass in every workout! I’ve never felt better!

Over the last decade, I have been a member of several gyms offering small-group classes. Push is BY FAR the best. The coaches are more experienced than most gyms. Push is great! For a long time I struggled to establish a consistent workout routine, but 10 months ago I started going to Push, and enjoyed their classes which are really diverse and never the same from one to the next. Marty, Forrest, Gina, and Kara do a great job mixing I'm it up, so you're always working on different muscle groups, cardio, agility, etc. Quickly got into a groove of 2-3 classes a week, and haven't looked back! I spent my last month in Denver at Push working with Marty, Heidi, and Erich. It's a great place, good people, and an amazing program. I wish I had found this place sooner. I have tried a variety of workouts, from personal trainers at the gyms, Orangetheory, Crossfit, and Push. Push by far would be the one I would want to stick to long term. Props to these guys and keep doing what you are doing.

Great classes with great instructors and the personal trainers are terrific. I had hip replacement surgery in May and after my PT was finished, I wanted to get in better shape for ski season. I started working with Kara McKenna in November, and by January felt ready to go skiing. I have been skiing multiple times since then, and I am still working with Kara to get stronger. She knows what exercises will help me, and she mixes up my sessions each week.

TLDR: Kara is simply the best trainer: so supportive, encouraging, and really knows her stuff! You can’t go wrong with Push Gym at all, but Kara is truly A Class!!

I came in to Push with a goal of losing close to 40 pounds in order to qualify for a Navy scholarship, and Kara whipped me into shape in no time. Now 7 months later I have lost 37lbs, qualified for my scholarship, and I’m in the best shape ever! Not only was she on it with training and able to push my to limits I didn’t know I even had (pulling 275lbs?!), but she was incredibly supportive, encouraging and just a real pleasure to work with. She really cares about her clients and supports them emotionally and spiritually as well as spotting their bench presses! Truly an unbeatable coach, and really incredible person all around. I can’t recommend Kara and Push enough.

After getting sick of big overcrowded gyms and the schoolyard antics at smaller training facilities, I sought out Push. I've been at Push for 7 yrs now and would stay forever, but have to say goodbye to my Push family due to relocation. It's honestly my biggest regret about leaving Denver; I can find another job, a house, etc...but finding a good gym is so much harder!

In addition to helping me stay fit, avoid and rehab injury, I've made some great friends along the way. Push classes are welcoming to all abilities, fitness levels and personalities. You'll be hard pressed to find a better option...anywhere; shout out to the amazing trainers that make it special including Marty, Kara, Julie, and Kielli who all thrive on keeping things interesting.

Marty is Papa Bear of the gang; not only the owner, a knowledgeable Physical Therapist and Trainer, but a fantastic human being and a friend forever. Keeping me motivated and healthy is a full time job and he's made sport of it. Marty's passion for practical fitness, well-being and compassion for people are readily apparent in the way he runs Push.

Also a big thanks to Christopher Flower! There are several great personal trainers at Push, but my wife and I have most experience with Flower. He has a knack at building quick, effective workouts that'll leave you blasted.

I've been going to Push for over a year now and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. The trainers are not only extremely friendly, welcoming, and motivating, but their workouts are so creative and challenging. Every time I come in I'm given a new workout- they always keep it fresh.

Throughout the pandemic they have done an excellent job at keeping the gym to capacity and increasing safety standards by distancing, requiring masks, and thoroughly cleaning each piece of equipment the SECOND after it's been touched.

I started with Push to help rehabilitate from knee surgery (2 in the last year), and Marty is by far the best physical therapist i've ever been to. Each session is methodically planned to help not only strengthen my leg and enhance my mobility, but leave me feeling like I've done a full body workout.

I came for Marty, and stayed for Kara and the rest of the trainers who continue to Push me twice a week towards my overall goals of strengthening my body after a rough year of surgeries.

I would recommend this gym to anyone, any day of the week!

Push is an incredible gym run with the phenomenal trainers (Thanks to Marty). This is my first ever experience in gym and I am addicted since I have started. Trainers are exceptional and very creative. I have started at Push back in October with loads of hesitations because of the pandemic but they are very strict with the sanitization and limit of the people at gym at the same time. Also, the place is big enough so that we can easily spread out. The equipments are sanitized after each person and they are trying their best to keep the people safe. I have been seeing Kara and she is amazing. She listens to you and tailors the workout according to what you want to achieve. I cannot recommend Push and Kara highly enough. I am so glad that I found Kara!

PUSH Gym has been part of my life for the last eight years! I've worked out at every possible flavor of gym and workout type, but PUSH is the one I stay at. Even before COVID-19 the classes were small - I tell my friends that it is like personal training for a fraction of the cost, but with the fun of working out with the nicest people.

Because PUSH Gym is owned by a physical therapist and all of the trainers have excellent credentials and loads of experience, I've been able to work out and maintain and push my fitness through all sorts of life events. They've helped me rehab and work out safely after recovering from car accidents and broken bones. My workouts at PUSH have also supported my goals outside the gym, especially my cycling.

As everyone knows, the pandemic has wrecked havoc on every type of business and fitness has really been a beacon of light during COVID. While the guidelines and rules for safety during COVID-19 were changing daily, PUSH Gym thoughtfully considered and implemented safety protocols beyond the requirements. And because the classes at PUSH were already purposely small, the impacts to the classes have been easier to manage and still everyone is allowed to PUSH themselves during class safely.

PUSH Gym is beyond a gym membership for me. The PUSH trainers are at the center of my health and wellness strategy - they are the first people I ask for recommendations for anything health related - because I trust them and they have helped me be optimally healthy and fit over the last eight years. And, as a bonus, I've met the kindest, most fun other people at PUSH.

I absolutely love the PUSH gym community. Marty and his energetic team offer a variety of workout styles. Jon's Monday and Wednesday morning classes are primarily focused on strength training and excellent way to start your day. Marty and Killa' Kara offer a higher blend of cardio and interval training. Never underestimate Jodilyn and Julie's tabata classes. They will have you thoroughly spent after 45 minutes. It sounds silly but, with so many great people and a different workout every time coming to PUSH is the highlight of my day.

For the last year and a half I have been a regular at this gym, first with Jodilyn's awesome Tabata classes and then adding other HIIT classes with Marty and other instructors. They have found the magic formula for a gym to be very relaxed and welcoming but still challenge you to push until you can't continue (but you will) and leave feeling fantastic and ready to come back the next day. Push it!

I can't say enough great things about Push. After 2 kids, I'd not gotten baby weight off either time. My stamina and strength was lacking too. Now having been attending classes just over a year, baby weight is off and I feel better than I have in years.

Marty and all the trainers are personally attentive and help keep you motivated. I've never done the same workout twice. Pretty amazing!

I'd recommend Push to anyone - the classes all take into account multiple skill levels - whether it's your first workout or you're seasoned.

I went to Marty for a shoulder injury after seeing a General Care Physician and an Orthopedic Surgeon. Leaving the gym on the first day, I felt as if I actually understood what happened and how it would effect the rest of my life. He gave me simple and easy to do routines that sped up my healing process. I'm climbing hard again! Thank you Marty!!

I absolutely love Push ! The trainers and the physical therapists are excellent . I went to various other PT's befor I found Push and I wish I would have found them sooner . Marty helped me recover from a bad bike accident : two shoulder surgeries and one hip surgery. He didn't give me the typical Pt exercises but ones that had me actually working out on my way to recovery . I recommend Push to anyone who is looking for a functional PT. I moved from needing a PT to being able to take classes at Push .

I never liked working out at gyms until I started going to PUSH. This place is the best. The classes are so awesome - hard, effective but fun (believe it or not). The trainers are knowledgeable and attentive. The classes are small enough that they can keep an eye on you to make sure you're getting the most out of your workout. I love the lunch-time HIIT Classes with Marty. Tabata with Jodilyn will kick your a**. Kick boxing with Christopher is better than going to a therapist. If you want to get in shape and stay in shape, this is the place to go. It will change your life.
