Rocky Mountain Flex Fitness is a gym in Denver, located in the Baker neighborhood since November 2015. Today, the gym has grown into an over 12,000 sq. ft. facility offering personal training, Olympic weightlifting, yoga, sports conditioning, and more. Located within the facility is a Martial Arts Academy and individual practitioners offering services such as dry needling and physical therapy (The Savvy PT). Since we increased the gym space, we brought our members a bigger variety of equipment, a 60-foot turf space for functional fitness, sleds, and more, as well as a new classroom space for our group classes. We also have some of the best personal trainers in Denver, as well as free group classes for members.

The gym is clean, organized, and built for people who actually want to put in the work. The equipment is top-tier, the atmosphere is motivating without being intimidating, and the staff genuinely cares about helping you hit your goals. A quick bike or walk from the Baker area makes it super convenient.
What really sets this place apart is the value — you get access to elite equipment, a supportive community, and a serious training environment without the inflated prices you see at a lot of other gyms. Every dollar actually feels worth it.
Every session feels efficient and productive, and the community here is a huge plus — everyone is friendly, focused, and supportive. It’s the kind of place where you walk in wanting to get better and walk out knowing you did.
If you’re looking for a gym that combines great people, great equipment, and great value, Rocky Mountain Flex Fitness is a five-star choice all day.

I was a member here for 2 years and I cannot recommend this gym enough. Taking a little break, and decided to pause my membership and the staff was very responsive and friendly. I've always had bad experiences pausing/cancelling but this gym was so friendly about it. I will miss the gym and the people while I take a break but will be back.
For future members: Equipment is never down, if something breaks it is fixed right away. They are always adding new machines/equipment, and the staff is really friendly. The members are also very nice, and respectful. Enough benches and racks that you will never feel like you are waiting for anything. I spent so much time at this place while I was laid off from work, will have so many memories from those 10am workouts.

This is honestly the best gym you’re going to get at this price point in Denver metro. Well-priced, tons of equipment, space, and great hours.
I would hesitate to recommend this gym to total gym-newbies since there’s a strong gym-bro energy from the patrons (shockingly witnessed this more with the women unfortunately). It’s also a little frustrating that trainers encroached on the space of people already working out. Often. The owners absolutely rock but have had some issues with some of the staff and trainers. Lights are also very hard to handle for photosensitive patrons.

I used to go to the big chain gyms because they’re cheap. The one I used to go to wasn’t that great, so I decided to check out Rocky Mountain Flex, and I’m so glad I did because now I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else. Great community with a lot to offer!

Just joined a few weeks ago after moving from Boulder to Denver. I have lived in several states and this is one of my favorite gyms. The gym has all the equipment you need for serious lifters and even some strongman equipment. All the facilities are clean and weights are organized.

I can’t say enough great things about this gym! The equipment is high-quality, the environment is motivating, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Whether you’re into powerlifting, bodybuilding, or general fitness, this place has something for everyone.
The gym is kept clean and well-maintained, which is a huge plus. The community here is fantastic—people are serious about training but also super supportive!
That said, one improvement would be adding calibrated plates and perhaps some lifting chalk for those who need precise weights and better grip support. Especially for powerlifters, calibrated plates make a big difference in training accuracy.

Great place! Good for normal fitness routines, body building, and cross fit. All the staff are great and friendly. There are a ton of personal trainers available to work and train with. I especially love the military discount offered. This is an excellent local community gym, far better than going to a mega chain gym where the standards are lacking.

Such a great gym. Everyone is doing their thing and its got soul and community that the cheaper mega gyms lack. Seems like there are a lot of ways to get involved with the gym community if you're into that. I prefer to keep to myself and was never ever bothered. Bliss. The group class room gives a little extra space to duck away for light weights/calisthenics which is nice. Always clean and rare for it to feel crowded in the cardio space where I spent most of my time.

I joined RMFF after the legendary Iron Warrior powerlifting gym closed about three years ago. At first, I missed a lot of the specialized powerlifting equipment that I had come to rely on for my training. But Chris the gym owner made it clear he welcomes any suggestions that might make the gym better. Chris has come through repeatedly and in a big way. RMFF now has all the equipment I had loved at Iron Warrior. In addition to standard power bars, RMFF offers multiple Texas squat bars, multiple deadlift bars, a beautiful Kabuki Duffalo bar, several excellent power cage style squat racks, two Rogue bench press racks (with the built in safety bars) … I could go on and on.
The point - for all of you googling for a Denver powerlifting gym - is that RMFF has become a top notch place for powerlifting. It has all the great equipment you’re hoping to find.
And yes - for everyone else - it also has the stuff you expect to find at most gyms like resistance machines and cardio equipment.
In addition, the place is always clean and well maintained.
Thank you Chris and RMFF,
Jordan

At 56, I'm no spring chicken. I've been going to gyms and lifting since I was 12. I travel and check in to gyms in cities across the US. I've seen almost everything. Suffice it to say, if I were to design the perfect gym, I don't think I could top RMFF. This place is amazing! Clean, plenty of room, well-maintained equipment, and everything you could ask for in terms of accessories, bars, machines, and free weights. I know there are classes too, but only having been a member for a few weeks, I haven't checked those out yet. Even at peak times, it never feels crowded, and more importantly, everyone is super-friendly. I've lived in the area for a while, and I'm kicking myself for having just joined now. But hey, at least I eventually found this amazing place: The Perfect Gym!

The equipment is a blend of old school and top-notch—everything is well-maintained. Whether you're into weightlifting, cardio, or group classes, they have everything you need. I’m especially a fan of their wide range of free weights and the specialized machines for different muscle groups.
Plus - the cleanliness of the facility is impressive! Everything is spotless, from the locker rooms to the floors.
I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a supportive, well-equipped, and positive environment to hit their fitness goals. It’s definitely worth every penny 💪🏼

I love the absolute crap out of this gym. Has everything you want and more. Love that it’s a serious weight lifting gym but doesn’t stick their nose up on machines. There are plenty! It also somehow never feels too busy even at peak times in the afternoon. Vibe is great too, lots of serious lifters and it’s easy to find a spotter. There’s one small small thing. Compared to other gyms I’ve been to this is no where near as bad but the music can be a little loud sometimes.
I’ve tried a few gyms before this one, 24 hour, lifetime, summit, and this just knocks it out of the park. I wish I’d tried it sooner. I think when I looked before I saw it far off on the map and being new to Denver I didn’t realize it was actually not that bad of a drive. It’s right near an awesome climbing gym too and close to Broadway if you and a bud wanna grab a post workout meal.

This is the perspective of someone who is new to going to the gym and new to working out at 40+ years old.
I've been coming to RMFF since February 2024 and absolutely love this gym! Prior to joining, I had horrible experiences the few times I stepped into the weight room at my old gym. I was scoffed at and felt judged and in the way which lead to immense gym anxiety. I've never been a person who enjoyed working out in the first place so this was incredibly discouraging and I stuck to only going to the classes eventually giving up after a while...
Enter Rocky Mountain Flex Fitness... In February I decided that it was time to make a lifestyle change and after a positive and empathetic conversation with the manager here, I signed up with both the gym and a personal trainer, Shelby. The people here are serious about fitness and I'll be honest, it was incredibly intimidating to come in not knowing what I was doing. However, everyone is courteous, encouraging, and friendly so it wasn't long at all before I began to feel at ease. I actually look forward to coming in now -which I never thought would be possible for me, and am excited to continue my journey here, at Rocky Mountain Flex Fitness. Partnering with a personal trainer was also a game changer, and there are several that work out of this gym.
In terms of equipment, I can't speak too much to it as I am still learning to use, but it seems that they have just about anything you could ever want to get a good and challenging workout.
Bottom line: If you're like me, and want to join a gym where you will feel empowered, strong, and encouraged but you're too afraid to take the first step: then this is your sign to give RMFF a try. I promise, you won't regret it.

Guy on the phone had a horrible attitude. Didn’t answer or listen to any question and literally just said “Yep” to every question, even the ones where that wouldn’t make sense with that response. Just plain rude and disrespectful. Called on 5/11 at 3:30-3:45 and a guy picked up. If that’s the experience off the bat, hell no I’m not spending a dollar with this gym.
As a business owner I would never have an employee like this on my payroll. I just moved here and was hoping to make this place my home gym, but I am gladly taking my money elsewhere and I recommend you do too. Have a chat with the guy and get your house in order, but if not and this is your ‘vibe’ then best of luck to you because I, and many others, don’t care how nice the facility is if the employees and service is terrible.

I've been a member here since I moved to Denver in February 2023 and I love this gym. It's been cool to see them expand and get bigger since I've been going here, and I'm sure they'll only continue to grow moving forward. Even though I'm moving away from the area and have to leave the gym, they were more than generous to me on my way out. Truly amazing gym, I'm sad to leave it!

I have been a member at RMFF since January 2023. This gym holds a very special place in my heart. I joined during a transitional time in my life and I very quickly became hooked on the energy and the people of this gym. It became a safe space, which in my opinion, is an important value when looking for a gym. The price, equipment, and newest expansion are all great aspects of this gym, but I think the most valuable aspect is the community that make RMFF feel so special.

Best gym I have ever been apart of. They have absolutely everything that you would need, even a sled and tires that you will never find at any other gym. I am very happy being a member at RMFF, and I plan on staying that way throughout my time in Denver. The only recommendation that I would have would to be to shut off the music, or at least turn the volume down. Everyone already has their own music playing regardless, and sometimes it is even too loud to hear through your own headphones. Just food for thought!

Rocky Mountain Flex Fitness is such a wonderful gym. The staff are friendly and thoughtful, the gym-goers are dedicated and respectful, and the gym itself has awesome equipment and a really cool layout. The atmosphere is motivating, and everything is maintained and clean. The memberships are easy to understand (unlike at some commercial gyms where you have to jump through a million hoops to make changes because you forgot your microscope to read the fine print). RMFF is always improving and continuously evolving--bringing in new equipment, optimizing space, etc.
On a personal note, I recently had an unexpected medical issue that has caused a lot of problems in my life and has dramatically changed how I can workout. I have a long road to recovery (including multiple surgeries), and the RMFF team has been so supportive and accommodating. I am very grateful for them, as they have shown incredible kindness that has lifted up my spirits and made me feel supported through this rough patch. RMFF is truly the best :)

I love this gym because the vibes are pretty great. Everyone keeps to themselves, and the staff are really nice. There aren’t really a ton of influencers running around trying to video tape their workouts. People are there to workout. And especially with the expansion, they have literally every piece of equipment you can imagine.
There are only 2 reasons it’s not a full 5 stars from me. First is that it’s often really warm in there, which doesn’t matter so much if you just lift, but it makes cardio brutal sometimes. The only other thing is that they’re not open on weekend nights, and maybe I’m the only loser going to the gym on weekend nights, but it is my happy place.

I apologize, but the price for the membership does not reflect what you get. They are about 70$ a month, which would make sense if they were a 40k sqft gym. However, this gym is about 7k sqft and is mediocre at best. The equipment is pretty standard in any gym, and the parking lot is shared with about 5 other businesses. I did get a good workout. The day pass is 15$, which is still a bit pricy.

Not very big. Equipment is in good condition, but if there are more than 10 people inside, forget about trying to use anything without waiting. 15$ day pass, pretty steep for size and offerings. You can find better in the area.

I LOVE this gym. It’s clean, has all the equipment you need, and has a huge variety of folks - from literal competitive body builders, to older people, and everyone in between. Very welcoming and inclusive. 10/10.

Had a wonderful morning with Kristi (personal trainer) at Rocky Mountain. I've been trying out gyms trying to find my right fit and she was so wonderful. Every aspect of this gym is comfortable and welcoming. I will definitely be signing up after this morning! Check her out because she is awesome!!

Fine gym especially for the price. Equipment is a little dated and can be kind of limited machine-wise. Honestly the only real downside is they have no control over the climate. It is consistently VERY hot (like breaking a sweat loading weights hot), which is the #1 thing I don’t want to be while working out.

I’m a digital nomad and was in Denver for a month. This gym was literally the best gym I’ve ever joined. You’ll have whatever you need to get fit but that’s not what makes it great. It’s the people! The people who work there and the people who are members. I’m seriously going to miss these guys. If you’re a traveler too, don’t worry. They are super flexible with their memberships and even offer discounts! If you join, I promise you won’t regret it!

What is there to say, it's an overpriced cute gym. It's super small, it has two bench presses, two deadlift stands, and three squat racks. All the machines are very close to each other and it's kind of crowded. I'm really only interested in powerlifting so i dont really care that much about the martial arts, the group classes, or the "community" that are offered. If you're anything like me i recommend basically any other commercial gym or maybe even your local rec center. This place charges around $70 a month for the membership whereas other gyms like Chuze or Vasa charge you $10 and they're much bigger. Really my only issue with this gym is how overpriced it is for what im looking for. The customer service was good and I'm sure the community is friendly and welcoming but that cant possibly justify the $70 membership. I would pay maybe a max of $20 for a membership at this gym and that's just because I'm sure that the community would be much better than what is found at big gyms like Chuze. (On an unrelated note the area around the gym smelled like burnt toast, not really the gym's fault and perhaps it was only for the day i was there.)

RMFF has been my gym for about a year and a half. It’s my best gym experience. I’ve gotten to know the community, the trainers, the owner and staff. All are so welcoming and fun. I love going there. During Covid they have taken the most precautions I’ve seen. They professionally sanitize regularly and all members are, on their own, cleaning equipment after use. Masks have been enforced for a long time. It’s safer here than going to most places. I love the gym and it’s a great place to be a member of

Thought I'd try out this gym as I remembered it being really nice with friendly staff. However, they are acting as though the pandemic doesn't exist. Equipment is still packed, patrons don't wipe down their equipment and the staff doesn't enforce capacity rules. And I will be forwarding the photos I took to the health department.

And they even offer a few awesome MMA classes for free! I took advantage of the free week offer myself but it didn't take long before I knew I was going to become a member. Cardio, weights, classes and an upstairs loft area with boxing equipment. Great staff and high quality personal trainers. My only complaint is when it gets busy you may end up waiting for machines/benches, having to reorder your routine, or do an alternative exercise.

RMFF is the most friendly & inclusive, best outfitted, and least crowded gym I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of. It's become like a second home.
Not only do they have every piece of equipment you can imagine (plus some you never knew existed), every single employee and trainer is out on the floor using them – leading by example.
Every time I've thought I might feel uncomfortable, there's been a friendly face, ready to show me the ropes, excited to see someone trying something new.
I love this place so much, I actually posted this review, deleted it, then posted it again, just so I could give them 5 stars twice.
