Took my first class today and then promptly signed up for a 6 month membership! Upon entering the facility I was immediately greeted by Grace who was so friendly and wonderful at explaining how everything works both before and after the class.
My instructor was Mona who was absolutely incredible! She was so energetic and motivating that I couldn’t help but fall in love with the program. She even stayed after to class to talk with me and was so kind and encouraging.
Even the lady I sat next to in the spin class was incredibly kind and helped me through the entire process. The equipment was all in amazing condition, everything was incredibly clean, and the gym even had some sort of light aromatherapy that smelled great (not overpowering at all as I’m sensitive to smells).
I rarely right reviews but I was so impressed with every aspect of this place that I have to!

What a wonderful experience! The format is brilliant. A bit of cycle, strength, and then yoga stretch. I have been working out on and off for over 30 years. I get bored and stop. Spenga is a little bit of exactly what I need every time! The instructors are motivating and extremely qualified. For beginners, this is for you. Staying in shape and healthy is important, I get it, but how do you know you’re choosing the right one?! Sabrina walked into my workplace with so much enthusiasm about Spenga! I met with the owner Beckie and next thing I know, I signed up. I’m not a fan of gyms but this place is unlike anything I’ve experienced. Two weeks in and I already noticed the difference. Staying consistent with workout classes has been difficult for me in the past because I tend to give it my all in the first half and realize I have a whole other 30 minutes to go and get frustrated. Spenga is great because its just 20 minutes of each workout, so I can give it my all and not feel burned out for the next workout. Highly recommend!

SPENGA has been my go-to for over 4 years. The instructors have supported me through pregnancies, injuries at my best and when I’ve had to start over after a hiatus. It’s def not a 1 size fits all- you can go at your own pace or modify to suit your personal ability. I’ve never felt intimidated as there are many different ages, body types and fitness levels. SPENGA was the first gym/fitness program that got me consistently showing up for myself and prioritizing fitness multiple times a week. Spenga Highlands Ranch is great! I have been going for the past few weeks and it is an unbelievable workout! I normally only do 30 min workouts at home, but the hour flies by when it is broken up into Spin, Strength and Yoga. The instructors and staff are also super friendly and helpful. Good workout and great that it includes strength training. If you go to a cycling class and don't feel like your getting anywhere this would be a good fit. One hour feels shorts, but seems like it works better for everyone else.

These workouts are so fun! You get the best of everything. I joined to get myself back into the groove of working out. It’s a tough workout, but totally doable with personalized output zones that are provided on the spin bike, an efficient strength workout, and getting recentered during the yoga portion. I often get bored with workouts, or I quit because they’re too hard. I love the 20 minute intervals at each activity because it’s enough time for me to push myself to get a good workout without feeling like I want to die. I also like that you don’t need cycling shoes for the spin portion.
The instructors make the workout fun. There are people of all different fitness levels. And it’s clean as staff clean the equipment between each class. The 60 minutes goes by quickly. I highly recommend this if you’re like me and need something to get yourself back into physical activity, or you’re looking to get everything needed out of a workout in a short span of time.

The microphone to music ratio was so off that I couldn't understand a word the instructor said. Imagine someone screaming at you for an hour in a foreign language and you are supposed to follow their instructions. For the yoga, there were no descriptions given. There were no alternatives given for any of the exercises, so those of us with muscular/joint issues were SOL in the cycle, strength, or yoga categories. Not everyone can do steps! Have MS or any other muscular issue? Do not go here as there is 0 accommodation. Sad in 2023 that places still exist with no respect for those with disabilities who still want to work out. Shame on you Spenga. Shame.

I love the format of this workout. I especially liked the strength training exercises. However, I don't think the instructors are fit to teach all three or there needs to be a higher standard of training for instructors here (except for Mona and Amanda). They were both great! This was especially apparent in yoga. There were instructors that did not demonstrate or talk through the poses correctly which is worrisome as improper form can lead to injury. I saw many members with improper form and not be corrected. Also, one instructor consistently called out the wrong name for poses. Yoga emphasizes the breath A LOT and instructors failed to mention when to be inhaling or exhaling. I think the music in spin could be a lot more upbeat. However, my biggest issue was being told to stand in the back of class as they didn't want other members to be watching me. This made me feel VERY unwelcomed and absolutely TERRIBLE. I almost walked out. 1. I pay for these classes 2. Yoga is built on the principle of listening to your body and practicing the flow that you need. By being told to stand behind everyone because I listen to what my body is telling me, is extremely discouraging. 3. I've been a member at MANY studios and worked in fitness for two years and I've NEVER heard anything like this. Instead, it's always "I'm just a guide but this is YOUR workout and I encourage you to do what YOU need". When I told the manager, I felt dismissed and nothing was done or offered. I was always in the back in spin.
