If only I lived closer! What a fun workout, and my glutes were on fire afterward - I think that means it was effective haha! Store your items safely in their lockers and then go have fun in one of their classes - there's plenty of room so that you're not trying to workout shoulder-to-shoulder, everything is very clean and new, the instructor was upbeat and happy to help, and you can trust that they know how to help you reach your goals. I really wish I could join today, but I'm at least a half hour away - let me know when you open a STRIDE closer to me! :)

I took Ashley’s noon class, she is incredible. So positive, kind, and brilliant with approach to motivation. She went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome—like we belonged there. She holds an ultimate hospitality that is truly beautiful. Her energy is contagious and her passion is next level. She has a true gift for connecting with people and creating a space that feels both energizing and safe. Honestly one of the best fitness instructors I’ve ever had!

A little over a year ago I set out on a new journey to live a healthier lifestyle and start a new challenge at STRIDE Southlands. I lost 30 pounds, gained confidence and made some new friendships. I started off walking and now I am running and loving every minute of it. I have also been able to keep the weight off. Stride has the most amazing coaches and members that inspire and motivate all of us!
Stride welcomes all fitness levels, genders, ages, races, body sizes. Stride has all sorts of classes, weight training, Treadmill, combo classes, Yoga. Every day hits a different muscle group.
If anyone wants to come try it out, the 1st class is free!

Just when you think a place can't get any better, it levels up! Stride is more than a fitness studio -- it's an inclusive place committed to helping each member hit their mind, body, and spirit goals. The current GM, Ashley, and lead trainer, Maty, go above and beyond to make sure each member feels supported and challenged. I've made deep and meaningful friendships that go beyond the Stride studio walls and onto local trails, races, coffee shops and someday maybe even a destination marathon! The current schedule has an amazing balance of HIIT/cardio and strength and even a yoga/mobility option on Saturdays. First class is free so run (don't walk) to book an intro class at Stride and soon it will be your happy place!

Great studio (the Woodway treadmills are so kind to your joints and you feel like you're running on a cloud!) Great instructors/coaches who go the extra mile (pun intended ;) for members. They really listen to member feedback and work hard to make working out varied, fun, challenging and sustainable...regardless of your age, goals, or abilities. The community and overall vibe ooze positivity! I love starting my day with STRIDE and their next door neighbor Rumble!

Stride Fitness is a completely different approach to exercise and health. You chose the time of day and type of exercise-strength, walk/run/jog classic or combo-mixture of both. Expensive and not worth it all. They sell you on trying to keep you on track with fitness coaches that will hold you accountable. I never showed to one class due to unforeseen injury, and no one was checking in. They will send you to collections even after cancelling your membership. Save yourself the hassle and money and go to your local reasonably priced gym or buy a Peloton!!

My partner and I recently attempted to participate in the 8-week fitness challenge at STRIDE Fitness and unfortunately, our experience mirrored recent reviews.
Despite being told we would have a consultation, diet plan, and a dedicated coach — my partner and I faced a major setback. Our scheduled consultation on January 6th was canceled on short notice, leaving us frustrated and confused. Despite our attempt to reschedule, we have yet to receive any response. The lack of communication and transparency were disappointing, especially considering we held off on other gym options for this challenge. Ultimately, we chose Orangetheory Fitness and found it to be a more reliable and satisfying choice.
I appreciate their effort in hosting a motivating fitness challenge in the new year; however, I hope STRIDE Fitness improves its communication for the sake of future customers.

Loved the workouts but the customer service ended up being horrible. Fell for a “free” 8 week challenge with a diet plan and 1:1 plan. Was told they had experience with individuals who had weight loss surgeries, that was a lie. I was told my card would only be charged twice for the 8 weeks, it’s now being charged every month and I’m now being told I have to give 30 days notice to cancel. Truly disappointed because the workouts and atmosphere were wonderful but they are only in it to scam people. After the owner responded to my first google review wanting my make it “right”, yes I got a refund, it was truly because they wanted me to remove my negative feedback off of instagram and google. Be careful before you sign up with this place, the workouts are great and it’s really a shame that these people are not in it for the right reason. I am sorry I was truthful and you felt it was necessary to block me on Instagram so I couldn’t continue to share my negative experience.

Completely unprofessional and a total lack of regard for potential customers. I had an appointment scheduled with Brooke (or another coach if she was unavailable) and when I showed up, the entire place was closed. I reached out to see if someone was coming to meet me and was advised that they had closed for the afternoon. I was even told that it was my fault for not responding to an automated text message for confirmation; even though one wasn’t requested or required AND we had confirmed two times previously. Absolutely would not recommend.

I love STRIDE! All the members are super friendly. The staff is incredible! Coach Mike is always going to push you to do your best, and I live for it! I have been coming here to help rehab after ankle surgery, and it’s been a great addition. 10/10 would recommend, and I don’t even like running!

This is definitely not your average gym/class. If I could give it 10 stars I would. The coaches and members are all fantastic and make you feel welcome immediately. I’m not a runner and you don’t have to be. This is endurance and strength training at its finest. It’s the best investment I’ve made in myself. Period.

I Absolutely love this place!!! The coaches really show that the care about you & you never feel like you're just a number...you feel more like family. Stride at Southlands is hands down my favorite workout studio!
Every time I walk through the doors, every member of the staff is welcoming, enthusiastic, and genuinely happy to see me. I’ve never felt so comfortable in what can be an intimidating and uncomfortable experience. The studio itself is impeccably clean and well organized. They have plenty of treadmills and other equipment, ensuring that there is something for everyone. What really sets this studio apart from the others, though, is the amazing team of coaches. They are all highly knowledgeable and skilled but also incredibly motivating. They’ve all pushed me to challenge myself, not only physically but mentally too. They really are nothing short of exceptional! I highly recommend giving Stride at Southlands a try! You won’t regret it!

Unfortunately I would not recommend Stride. I canceled my membership on March 31st and the continued to charge me. I’m still getting harassed to pay my bill, despite having told them on multiple occasions that I signed the paper work and canceled. Don’t sign up for a membership, they won’t honor their agreements.

First timer here!! I tried the class FOC and have already signed up for the month!! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and I had the best time working out! The workout room has some of the best treadmills I’ve ever been on, and combined low but ever changing lighting, and upbeat and changing tempo music, the 1 hour class was over so quickly!!

I’m a founding member at Stride, loved it from the start. I’m not a runner but the coaches and templates have helped me improve so now I can jog most classes and I feel strong! The Stride family is so encouraging. They keep it interesting with different challenges and themed classes. (Pictured here is the 5k for Breast Cancer Awareness.) The coaches are really just the best, Courtney’s class is like therapy and Lauren is the greatest early-morning hype girl. Take your first class and see for yourself!

I first tried STRIDE at Southlands last summer (summer 2022), when they were under old management. I was thoroughly disappointed when receiving all different kinds of information. Classes rarely started on time, and it seemed like nobody was on the same page.
I decided to give it one more try this new year(2023) when they were running a special promotion. It was great being able to give it another try. Running is enjoyable for me, but also the sense of accomplishment and being motivated. In addition to the new management, they revamped some of the way the instructors were running classes, and hired on some new staff. Now, classes start on time, the instructors are very clear and motivating with their direction in class, and it seems like most of the instructors are all on the same page. If you’re trying to get a head on training for a race, or just work on getting into better shape, you might think of giving STRIDE a try.
Their classes always vary. I’ve gone for over a month total (25 classes) and I’ve never ran the same program in class. They combine speed, hills, strength, and core all on different levels. If running is t your thing, the program also adjusts to a walking level where you can work up your endurance and strength.
