This place is a breath of fresh air. As soon as I walked in for my first class, I was greeted by the instructor and other members as if I was a regular. One of the members even introduced me to everyone in the class.
They have a wide variety of classes to fit whatever your needs are and their prices are extrememly fair and inclusive.

Sunny Isle Yoga is truly a gem…a sanctuary disguised as a studio.
From the moment you walk in, you’re met with warmth, kindness, and a sense of belonging that’s hard to describe. The intimate setting allows you to really connect, not just with your practice, but with the beautiful community that gathers here. The classes are unique and thoughtfully curated, and no matter where you are on your journey, you’ll feel supported, welcomed, and seen. Inclusivity is the theme here.
For me, Sunny Isle isn’t just a studio. It’s home.
And Mimi…
There are not enough words to capture the kind of soul she is. Mimi is truly one-of-a-kind, selfless, radiant, and deeply committed to the well-being of every single person who walks through the door. She has a way of caring that feels rare and sacred… it’s the kind of love and attention you don’t forget. Her presence has not only guided me through yoga, but through life itself.
Sunny Isle and Mimi have changed my life.
I’m endlessly grateful.

Mimi is one of the kindest most welcoming people I've ever met. The classes are top notch and really brings you to another space and world for awhile! This is one of the only studios that has not only allowed me to be 2-5 minutes late but welcomed me with a smile and open arms instead of sending me away in shame. I have adhd memory and time management issues at times and I drive 25-30 minutes in morning downtown traffic just to come there because it is a safe welcoming space for me and that means the world to me so I can still take care of my mental and physical health. And to get a warm hug from her was the first one I've had in a long time and makes it more than just a yoga studio or visit. This is truly what a community should feel like. It can change someone's whole day and outlook on life and themselves and others. From my heart thank you ❤️🙏

Was asked personally if I was pregnant- I understand it is a question needed asking, but the owner could have made it more casual- not singling me out separately. The comment really tanked my self esteem and made me feel, kind of like I don't fit in there maybe.

I particularly enjoyed Andrea's Hatha class, which focuses on deepening your spiritual practice through your Asanas, and Matt's Vinyasa II class which is dynamic and flow-focused. There's a welcoming group of regulars which brings a sense of fellowship and community

I've been attending various classes here since January '24. They have wonderful instructors and a variety of classes, but my favorite class is Yoga Nidra with Michele Theoharris. She's a professional at pulling you into her practice like a deep healing gravity. She also hosts a myriad of sound ceremonies that are worth attending, even if you're not a member and pay the drop-in price.
From what I can tell in 6 weeks, the community at Sunny Isle is a strong one, and you begin to gain a sense of that more and more in every class. This helps cultivate a more healthy yoga journey in my humble opinion, which definitely makes me want to continue taking classes here. They also host monthly social potlucks for members.
The studio supplies bolsters, blankets, blocks, mats, and props. You don't even need to own your own yoga mat. As with any yoga practice, the experience is largely curated by the instructor. Each instructor brings about a different vibrational energy to the experience as well. Sunny Isle offers a very generous new member intro price for the first month to attend unlimited classes. This provides you the opportunity to identify which instructors will resonate best with you along this yoga journey. Additionally, they offer remote video classes if you prefer staying home for yoga practice. Good luck on your personal yoga journey.

A true place of healing! Lots of different types of classes and workshops to meet my fluctuating needs. All of the instructors are awesome and probably the most welcoming community I’ve ever experienced at a studio since starting my practice in 2006. It’s awesome and life changing, you should go! Oh - and they offer free organic CBD samples to enjoy before or after class and that’s awesome too!

Sacred Men’s Circle- Kirk Anderson
I have rarely had such a spiritual, loving, kind and compassionate experience than with the sacred men’s circle. It is magical, revealing and aligns my heart for the entire month. I look forward to it every opportunity it is available.
SOL Yoga is the ONLY studio I am aware of that is doing this. As someone who identifies as male there are few opportunities to explore the masculine and feminine qualities found in a men’s only circle.
I thank you deeply and compassionately!

I love Sunny Isle Yoga studio! I really enjoy the variety of classes (Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Yoda Nidra, etc.) and the owner and class instructors are all very welcoming and lovely people. The studio itself is really comfortable with plenty of props and nice touches (wood elements and faux candles). Nothing about it feels cookie cutter, including the variety of people that go there. I highly recommend supporting them!

Honestly, the worst yoga class I've ever taken. First of all it's located next to a very loud cowboy/biker bar where there's tons of people smoking out on the patio and the bar is blasting music. Right next to that is a liquor store and some other run down businesses. Not very zen before/after a class. Secondly, the studio was very old and dingy and I didn't like that it didn't have any natural light, art, or anything for that matter. Just a floor and barren wall. Thirdly, the class was literally 2 super easy poses for holding for 15 minutes each and then 30 mins of corpse pose. The music kept cutting in and out like it wasn't connecting to WIFI properly, so there was constant interruption. How is the yoga? We didn't even stretch and I got no relief oncesoever. The instructor was nice, but she spoke very loud and fast and not at all in a calming or relaxing tone or matter, so I found it impossible to relax. I almost walked out of the class it was that bad. I'm disappointed to have spent $25 on literally laying on the floor in a hot, barren room with crackly music. Won't be back!

I have been looking for a place to do yoga regularly. Sol is 10-15 mins away from me and they offer grouping deals! I can’t say enough about this yoga studio. I stumbled upon them while I happened to be Colorado and I am so grateful I did. The staff is an absolutely amazing collection of teachers, each offering a different flavor of practice, and all of them spiritually and physically uplifting. I was so grateful that I was able to try so many of the classes, although I had “done” yoga for years, I realized after that I don’t think I had actually “practiced” yoga before finding this studio. Mimi’s meditation and movement class gave me an ability to really re-connect and deepen my meditation practice, which was struggling with meditation. The Vinyasa class with Laura expertly combined movement and intention. The Yin and Yoga Nidra class was an entirely new experience for me, using gentle movements in the first half of the class to open you to new depths in the Nidra meditation that followed. Jenny’s classes, the foundation class in particular, were a great reminder of the basics of the movements, which I was able to pull into all the other classes. I was so grateful for the 30 day unlimited pass, it allowed me to try classes I don’t think I would have otherwise, and it was such an affordable price. The only complaint I had about this studio was that I had to say goodbye to it when I moved on from CO… I cannot wait to return and be reconnected with this amazing community.

This place is the BEST. Each instructor brings a different energy, skill, and warmth that will make you want to attend every class. They're great about promoting (and not just paying lip service to) modifying your flow to meet your own needs, whether you're advanced or a novice. And these aren't just workouts. Sol Yoga incorporates a spiritual, meditative essence that will ground you, even if you've fallen on your face (like I did today!). I also recommend some private sessions. I had lessons with Lucy (who is amazing with the technical details) that were SO helpful in teaching me how to improve in class and at home. If you're doing yoga on YouTube, I recommend checking this place out and leveling up.

There is something so therapeutic and healing about being person absorbing the energy and peace this studio exudes. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and warm. Being reminded that you are enough as you are right then and there and moving with care is always encouraged, and that is exactly what I needed. Another thing I love about the studio is the lack of wall sized mirrors. I never realized how much I was objectifying myself by critiquing how I looked in the pose. Thankful for this studio!
