We know fitness can be tough to fit into a busy life. Between career, family and social lives, its tough to make time for self care.

Before they start, many of our client’s are struggling through some half hearted workouts in the gym, confusion of what to do with their training and nutrition. Others have got some results but just can’t seem to get past the dreaded “plateau”, feel stuck, and can’t figure out what is stopping them from getting to the body they want. Some find themselves falling out of the habit all together. Still others have never been a part of gym, because they’re not sure what to do when they’re there, and don’t have a supportive environment to succeed.

I sought out Surge Elite Performance and Fitness after having sx on an injury I had been recovering from. After being cleared to start training again I met with owner / coach Brandon Mericle and informed him of my recent recovery process. He listened intently as I voiced my frustrations with the injury itself all the while assessing my total body strength. It can be a little intimidating starting in a new gym, being older and starting over with the fitness journey but Brandon and Courtney welcomed me into Surge providing me with a workout designed specifically for me while still being in a group setting. The feedback and support from them both continues throughout every workout making me feel valued. I highly recommend Surge Elite Performance and Fitness as they welcome all ages and stages of your physical fitness journey.

I have gone through some major health issues the last few yrs (cancer survivor and other stuff). I see drs a lot and have seen many dietitians, advice for exercise's etc but nothing seemed to really help. I’ve become frustrated with my aching body, mobility issues and added stress until I met Jenn with Surge. I joined the 7 week kick start program recently and thought I would give it a shot at having a fitness trainer as well. Brandon is an amazing fitness coach and works with me at my level and is super patient. After my first session I was able to touch my toes (which is a big deal to me) and I’ve even improved much more in just a few weeks. Jenn, Nettie, Courtney, Brandon are amazing people and highly recommend Surge. They are the absolute best coaches I’ve ever met!!

I have gone through some major health issues in past few yrs and felt like I've tried every suggestion from many dr's , dietitians, fitness people etc. but nothing I've tried seems to help my overweight, stiff aching body (some of which comes from therapy cancer medication) & lots of stress. I had given up for quite some time until I met Jenn from Surge. I signed up for a 7 week jump start program, did some 1 on 1 chats with couple of their health coaches and did a free evaluation with a personal fitness trainer. After day 1 of having personal fitness training session with Brandon, I could touch my toes (which is something I couldn't do for quite a few yrs) and after a couple weeks I have already improved much more. Brandon is patient and gives me a wealth of knowledge and fitness training at my level. From day 1, I could tell everyone at Surge (Jenn, Courtney, Nettie, Brandon) actually really care about people, which has given me hope again. I am amazed of how much I have learned and improved in mobility in just a couple of weeks!!! I highly recommend Surge, they are the absolute best!!

I've worked out everywhere from 24 hour fitness to Orange Theory and Surge is hands down my favorite place to workout! It often feels like you're getting 1 to 1 coaching throughout a session and the people I workout with along with our coaches feel more like a family! I've had some injuries, I bring my 13 year old and my husband, our coaches meet us where we are while also making sure we are constantly challenged.

I have known Brandon and Courtney since before they opened their gym! They are two of the most positive and inspirational people I know! I recently went through major physical trauma! I’ve only had the pleasure of working with Brandon three times however, the amount of information that I have gained from our time together has already been invaluable!! His evaluation of my movements or lack there of , his attention to detail about the mechanics of my movement have been extremely insightful.
I came to him in hopes that he could help me identify imbalances in my muscles/movements that were causing pain in my everyday life as well as, addressing exercises to strengthen the areas I need to. At this point I have gained knowledge in those areas and so much more!
I greatly appreciate his intense focus on the mechanics of movement and his plan of exercises/activities that he has developed to address my needs. I look forward to continue my training with Brandon.

Surge is an amazing gym! Brandon and Courtney have created an awesome environment where not only do you get a great workout and great coaching but you also feel like you belong and have accountability. I came here for the first time about 4 years ago and loved it but my work schedule at the time made it so I couldn’t make the classes. When I switched jobs about a year and a half ago I was super excited to be able to come back! They also don’t just care about training you physically but attacking the underlying mental struggles that can make staying consistent and seeing progress difficult. I have built so much strength both mentally and physically with their help! Highly recommend!

My 11yr old son trained with Brandon over the summer and it was incredible. Not only did I see significant growth in his strength and quickness but he loved every second of the experience. Brandon does a great job of identifying an athletes capabilities and then providing the expertise so that athlete is put in the best position to succeed and grow. I started going to Surge about 2 years ago to boost my strength for my high school baseball season. At first I was scared to workout with a group of unknown people due to my inexperience, but Brandon, Courtney, and the entire Surge community immediately made me feel at home. Brandon and Courtney make a point to make sure each new member is comfortable and they work individually with each person to help build an ideal plan specific to them. I had shoulder issues stemming from playing baseball and Brandon made sure to substitute safer lifts into my programming to continue growth whilst also staying away from injuries. They have gone above and beyond in many ways whether it be helping me construct a meal plan, or sending me a workout plan to do from home during severe weather. I have loved every moment at Surge and would recommend it to any and everyone.

If your looking for a new home gym , check out surge . I’ve had back and knees surgeries within the past 3 year so I was nervous to start a workout regimen. Although the classes are group setting they’ve help modify the workouts to my fitness level . With the help from Brandon and Courtney, I have less knee and back pain , and feel stronger then ever.

After coming back from visiting four years ago this place has definitely reminded me why I wanted to come back and train with the amazing coaches and members again.
I have visited many gyms over many countries and Surge is by far one of my all time favourites to come back to when I’m visiting family in Denver. The coaching and programming is just another level. I am always excited and challenged by the programming and the coaches make the whole experience enjoyable. Courtney and Brandon’s enthusiasm, friendliness and attention to detail makes them stand out from other coaches. They will break down movements tailored to the individuals needs or even challenge veteran members. Not only do I love their encouragement but the environment they have created in the gym with their members who I now call my friends too even after a short time. Always love coming here and I look forward to my next visit from Australia to Denver.

We tried The Surge 6 Week Challenge not knowing what to expect. I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t easy, but if you commit to it and give 110% of yourself, it is possible to come out on top. I can describe this facility and the staff in one word- incredible. I knew that this was the most beneficial workout style for everyone, i.e. plyometrics/ aerobic exercising. As a medical professional I know how dangerous some of these movements can be and crossfit has a reputation for causing injury because of the high intensity and complex movements. Brandon and Courtney here at crossfit surge are all about pushing you to your limits and helping you to try to hit those new PR's! At the same time they don't want you to hurt yourself and they'll stop you if it looks like you'll hurt yourself or are doing something incorrectly. Brandon also helped me tweak my diet so that I was getting enough energy blocks to get through my workouts and recoveries. As I said before- incredible and I highly recommend this gym to anyone interested in trying crossfit.
