We are easily accessible from downtown, The Highlands and Cherry Creek via bicycle, car or public transit. We have off-street parking, as well as ample meters around the building.
The River focuses primarily on Power Vinyasa Yoga, though we offer a few additional formats with increased intensity such as YogaCross and Align & Burn as well as classes to tap into yoga’s more meditative qualities, such as Deep Stretch & Mediation, Yin and our candlelight classes. Welcome hOMe.
The River Yoga is an independently-owned studio with a mission to provide exceptional yoga experiences, excellent education programs, intentional partnerships and true community.

HIGHLY recommend a massage from Kendall, she’s truly incredible at what she does. It was trauma informed and she really helped work some of the emotional energy I’d been storing in my muscles to open more gateways for healing. Will definitely be going back for her services and will be looking into yoga sessions at The River as well! Such a wonderful space that supports so many types of healing and such a beautiful community that I’m really excited to tap more into. Thank you all so much!!

Love the warm, natural energy this studio offers. Our teacher, Madison, was fantastic and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this studio (it’s worth the membership price) over any other multi-location yoga studio in Denver if you’re looking for a new yoga home!

I usually pop into the River after singing up on Class Pass and every time I go it's lovely and welcoming. Yesterday I was rushing to make a class on time and my app wasn't letting me sign up, but Trevor was at the front desk and he was so kind. He helped me get into the class with ease when I was feeling frazzled and his welcoming nature made me feel like I wasn't being a burden. Highly recommend this studio if you're looking for a place to unwind from the stress of the outside world.

Non-Yogi here, but getting back into yoga. I did a flow class with Marissa and it was such a lovely balance of what you would expect in a flow + a mix of spirituality. Marissa's voice is beautiful, I actually shed a tear at the end. Would love to come back and try other instructors!
My only con is that their front desk person was not there, so I was quite lost walking in and finding out where to go and what to do. It took away from my initial impression just because I get a bit of anxiety walking into new places to begin with.

I recently joined the river and i'll preface this by saying this is my first and only yoga studio but I'm so happy joining. My friend recommended them to me after being self taught at home but really wanted to join more of a community and everyone that works there is so welcoming and kind. The front desk people are so warm and they have a surplus of instructors to choose from. I keep trying different ones to find my favorite and it has been hard to choose! I really love their booking system online as well. First time trying hot yoga as well and it's a really nice temp. Just a really cool and safe space for people who are fresh into a community style practice. Well worth the self investment.

This studio is genuinely one of the best. The instructors are phenomenal, the space is calming, and the community is always so welcoming. I’ve been looking for a yoga studio to go to since the one I loved so much closed years ago and I feel like I finally found what I was looking for.

I have been practicing at The River for about 1.5 years now and I am so glad I took a chance on a hot yoga class back then. I used to be really against hot yoga but since trying it at The River, I’ve discovered I love it. Especially living in dry Colorado, the hot classes offer some humidity to my skin that feels so good. Every teacher I’ve practice with at each location is kind, skilled, and encourages students to take modifications and poses at your own pace and to fit your own needs. I love the sense of community from the moment I walk in, to the moment I leave, and every moment in between.

I love everything about this studio, the instructors, the classes, the diversity of instructors, it’s just not a 5 star for me because of the reasons below:
- it’s not hot enough for a hot yoga class
- it’s not humid enough for a hot yoga class
- I wish there would be more variety of classes: more yin, restorative, acro yoga and etc.
- the price is too high for the lack of the reasons above
- whoever welcomed me on my first day, told me i could park at the rental lot behind the studio but failed to communicate where it was off limits and i got a $85 parking ticket. Not happy about that. Nobody did anything about that. They just asked me how they could have communicated that better but I was still responsible for that parking ticket because of lack of guidance and parking instructions.
I got a month to try classes there and the heater broke for a week since i believe this is their oldest location. Understandable! The management and staff are great at customer service, very kind and caring people.
I will still come back. These are just ideas on how the studio can improve and what future students need to be aware of.
Thanks for the safe space to practice yoga✨

I’ve been to many studios in the denver area and river yoga specifically this location, is by far the best. Each instructor has their own style and I love how you’ll never do the same flow twice! Gary and Andy are my personal favorites but there’s truly no such thing as a bad instructor here.

There is certainly a reason why Denver continues to select the River Yoga as their pick to host the annual summer event, "Yoga on the Rocks" at Red Rocks. This business is exceptional in so many ways. Each of the three studios create an atmosphere that is both inspiring and creative. The classes are welcoming and cater to many skill levels, needs and interests. One of The River's goals is to foster a sense of belonging, which is evident. I have yet to take a class at any of the locations that has not been wonderfully inclusive, helpful and thoughtfully orchestrated. I would highly recommend The River.

I've been coming to The River since I moved to Denver 5 years ago on and off. It's started to feel like a home and safe space whenever I need it most. I've introduced multiple friends to the Golden Triangle studio specifically and they always love it. It's the only 'class' my fiance will do with me. The community and vibes are wonderful here. It's not always the power yoga you may be used to at a hot power studio, but they do have a good variety still.

I love the River. have been a member for about 1 year now, transitioning from CrossFit to yoga after a health issue forced me to slow down. Becoming a member allowed me to figure out my favorite classes and instructors and to appreciate yoga as a way to regulate my nervous system and practice gratitude, rather than just trying to get in a sweaty workout. That said, it's definitely possible to get a workout!

**edit to add - the instructors here are so kind and amazing, this was a billing/clerical issue that was not resolved and could happen again**
I’m so so sad to make this review.
This studio was my safe space. However today I was informed I have balances due. Seeing as I haven’t been in a couple of months, I was surprised.
Turns out I had missed two classes, one in December 2021 and one in March 2022. I had never been told about this in the dozens of times I had gone since then.
These charges were random, and there’s no way to remember if I showed up or if I called ahead (I had COVID in December so I know I called ahead to cancel and explain the situation and the gentleman was very kind and told me they would not charge me).
I’m so confused how they had these charges on file but didn’t tell me at all until today (it’s almost September!). Also I’m worried they double-charged me for a late cancellation that was already charged through ClassPass.
Anyway, I want to go back but I’m so scared another random charge is going to be added to my account and I won’t know until 6 months down the road. It’s embarrassing to be told this in front of a group full of women and made me feel pretty small, so I didn’t even finish the class I was there for.

Awesome studio and teachers. I have not had any issues with parking or lines. The only reason I am giving 4 instead of five stars is because it’s rather expensive for a 60 minute class and they don’t offer enough class times over the weekend. Even when you buy a pack is the average cost for class is pretty high. Considering that as well as what’s best for yoga practice, their classes should be 75 minutes. They have plenty of time between sessions, as their classes are back to back anyway, so they should try to give a little bit more bang for the buck to their students. That extra 15 minutes makes a big difference in terms of being able to have a well-rounded Vinyasa flow session, build up the heart rate and then have enough time to bring it back down. 60 minutes it’s just not enough to get in deep enough. Especially for intermediate and advanced yogis. In terms of classes over the weekend, they only offer two earlier classes Saturday mornings, they should have a noon class on Saturday as well. On Sundays they have a huge gap in the middle of the day because they don’t offer a class between 10 AM and 4 PM. Again I think they have a lot of attendees if they did another class or two between the 10 and 4 o’clock sessions.

Don't really like the classes. But my biggest warning is to beware of their cancellation policy and hidden enrollments. When I signed up for my membership, I was unknowingly signed up for a subscription to their online library, which I've never looked at. The first month was "free" I guess. I was billed for the second month before I realized that I was signed up. Additionally, their cancellation policy is messed up. They require 30 days notice prior to your next billing day. This means that you have to decide you want to cancel essentially on a billing day to prevent being charged for another 30 days. I guess I'm locked in for about 45 more days with these folks. Yikes!

This studio used to be my haven, and I didn't practice yoga anywhere else. Even after I moved from the area, I kept coming despite the 30 min drive. The environment, location, And membership options were all top notch. However, I paid for a brand new month of unlimited yoga classes a couple days before the initial covid lockdown in March, they closed the studio, then refused me a refund. I called and asked for a refund, since their studio closed just 2 days after I was charged and I had also just been laid off both my jobs due to Covid, and they outright refused and cited their membership policies. Their policy wouldn't change due to covid, and I would have had to cancel my membership a month in advance. Thankfully, I was able to get my money back through my bank! This experience showed me their true colors and they made it painfully obvious that they would rather put profit over people. Namastay away!

The River has been a lifesaver for me during Covid times. They've had an organized and robust virtual program from the start and they've motivated me to practice from home--something, even after over 10 years of practice I never thought I would/could do. The classes that I love most are ones that bring a strong and more personal connection into my home--for instance, some of the teachers will infuse the class with yogic philosophy and even share a little personal experience they've had in relation to yoga, mediation, or just everyday life. This has been incredibly motivational to me and has made my yoga practice at home feel more connected to a community (it's also helped me turn inward). Every interaction I've had with their teachers and staff has also been enormously positive and encouraging.

I had never taken a yoga class in my life until I found The River Yoga (through Classpass; also highly recommend). I have been to both studios and had different instructors for each class I have signed up for (I have taken 5 so far between the two studios) and I must say....I have never had a bad experience! It's rare for any business with multiple locations to have consistency in their internal operations as well as their employees. Every instructor is so friendly and welcoming; which is great for someone like me who knows ZILCH about yoga. There have been a couple occasions where I had specific questions after class and both times the instructors were very knowledgeable, experienced, and most importantly, FRIENDLY. Genuinely friendly! So far every class I have taken has been a hot Power Vinyasa class but I LOVE it! I'm sure I will branch out, but it's a great class for beginners. I always feel 1000 times better when I leave. Not just physically, but mentally too because of the guided breathwork (which I thought was weird at first not knowing what it was) and guided meditation. I never thought I could do "breathwork" or any type of meditation but the instructors are amazing and guide the class the entire time. Thank you so much to all of the instructors and employees at these studios. You all are truly making a difference and I am so grateful I found River Yoga :)

The River studios are the best in town, bar none. Every staff member is friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. There are often one or two extra instructors who roam the class offering adjustments, which is something that I really appreciate. I've taken classes with Danielle, Katy, Christen, Megan, Paige, Kelsey, Rossi, Samy, Mona, Keri, Andy, Chris, Susanna and Lauralyn, and they are all wonderful. I also like that they have a "we are welcome to all" attitude, which is reflected on the sign on the front door of the Golden Triangle location. The facilities are extremely clean and well maintained. Prices are fair. Great instruction, nice vibe, caring people...what's not to like?

I took a Tuesday evening Hot Yoga class and it was packed with hardly enough room to get my mat in! I had to ask a few people to make room. The entry way is small and overflows with shoes and personal items. The instructor was great, I can't remember her name, but she was a short blonde. The playlist was great, the pace was fairly quick, and the assortment was nice. We did end with some abs and about a 10 minute meditating cool down which was so calming and I loved it. The single class was $20 which is the only thing I didn't like. Online it is advertised that new memberships receive unlimited classes for 30 days for only $39. I was going to take on this offer, but didn't look at my text messages until I finished my walk home and a text message from the studio stated that I need to claim the offer before leaving the studio. I wish the woman that checked me out for the initial class told me this, so I could have taken advantage of the offer. I have not returned since then due to the high prices.
