I've been searching for new CrossFit gym since moving to Severance, and after trying out a few, I knew this one was the right one for me. The staff is amazing, friendly, and so helpful. Their environment is very welcoming and encouraging. Best CrossFit gym I've ever been to. They are great with modifications no matter what stage you are at. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I recently moved to severance and we were looking for a gym close to home! I had zero CrossFit experience, but I’ve learned so much from Trent, Liz, and all the coaches. CrossFit has definitely become my new favorite hobby because of this place! I love the people here and felt welcomed right away.

The BEST gym full of the best people. Liz and Trent truly meet their members where they are and help you grow and make improvements at a pace that challenges but meets your skill level. I’ve been a member of the gym for 3 years now and something that started out as curiosity has turned into my #1 hobby. I just started doing nutrition work with Liz and have seen such a big improvement in my performance, and my body just feels 100% better. For fitness or nutrition coaching, you couldn’t find a better place!

I never worked out before joining, so I was terrified when I finally decided to go to the free drop in class. From that day on, the coaches made sure to make me feel like I belonged and always made it a point to work on the fundamentals I needed to perform every movement properly and safely before adding to much weight.
Now that I have two years of experience, and have dropped in at multiple gyms throughout the nation while I was traveling. I have a better understanding about this type of fitness. I have realized that the programming at The Simple Warrior is top notch and stands out from any other place I have been! They definitely write their programming for their members at the gym, by constantly understanding what the community in whole needs to work on.
I would definitely pull the trigger and try it if you are on the fence!!
Also, Liz’s nutrition programming was life changing. I was able to lose 20 pounds in 4 months!

I had the privilege of dropping in at Simple Warrior CrossFit a couple times while I was on vacation. I had an awesome experience, and would recommend this gym for everyone. Liz is absolutely wonderful! I actually don't attend the gym but I've had the opportunity to work with her one on one. She is the perfect balance of challenging but meeting you where you're at. She's super knowledgeable and knows how to create a plan for you whether that's individually or in a group setting and will help evaluate your goals and what to do to reach them. Highly recommend!

I started at this gym over a year ago with no previous work out experience. Thanks to the amazing coaches I have learned so much and made a lot of progress. The coaches are supportive. I did the nutrition program which helped me better myself and taught me a lot of eating healthy.

Having been a member of multiple CF facilities over the years I can honestly say this place is doing it right! Liz and Trent have developed a true sense of community here where the members all support each other and genuinely care. The level of knowledge in their training is top notch, they are always able to accommodate all fitness levels. We have found our CF family here!

This facility is amazing and unique. Unique because Liz is such a hands on, interactive, creative instructor. She really cares about each member. Not having any previous Crossfit experience, Liz has been so patient and encouraging while helping me understand all the various moves and helps modify workouts or moves to my comfort zone and skill level. The workouts are challenging, but rewarding. I also enjoy the variety; something different every day.

I have LOVED my experience at Simple Warrior CrossFit for the last 8 months! Liz has coached me into multiple PRs, modifying options for when I had an injury (which was awesome to keep working out vs having to fully stop!), and slight changes in technique that have helped me feel so much stronger, healthier, and confident in workouts I never could have done previously. I had some previous experience with CrossFit but working out at this gym (and with the awesome community that works out there) has been my favorite CrossFit experience by far! Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their fitness!

This month marks my one year anniversary at The Simple Warrior! As someone who had never done CrossFit style workouts prior, I was nervous to start classes here, however, Liz, Trent, and the rest of the Simple Warrior family were so incredibly welcoming and supportive. Liz and Trent are amazing coaches who are very knowledgeable and keep a close eye on everyone to make sure they are doing movements correctly and safely. Liz does a great job at making sure there is a “scaled” version of every movement, so if the WOD has movements that are too difficult, you can modify it!
I started working with Liz for nutrition coaching in July and it has been such a good experience! If there’s a time that I will go out to eat, she’s helped me find items on the menu that fit within my macros. The biggest thing for me is that you can definitely eat things that you love while on her nutrition program.
I have recommended this gym to all my friends in the area, I will literally never go to another gym again!

I joined January 2020 to train for my Alaskan moose hunt trip. I needed to lose about 30 lbs as well as gain muscle and stamina to pack the moose. Not only did I accomplish my goals but I also had a successful hunt! Liz and Trent are great trainers who are professional, friendly, and push you to your best abilities with each training.

Liz and Trent always make me feel comfortable even though I'm at a beginner stage. I think people are intimidated by crossfit but you definitely don't feel that here, coaches and members are motivating and understanding. Overall, it's a great experience for any fitness level that makes me want to continue getting better!

Liz has helped us significantly shift our nutrition. Our kids have noticed improvement and as a result are eating better also. My energy and endurance have increased, and I now see food as fuel. The most amazing and compassionate people, Trent and Liz, run this awesome fitness center! I started going to them in December of 2019 looking to dramatically change my fitness goals and well being. From the start I noticed a difference in my fitness that in 15 years I haven’t felt! I felt energetic and up beat and looking forward for the next workout. These folks know their stuff inside and out and challenge you to push yourself with every visit!
Nutrition coaching is just the same as fitness training, Liz Jones is a complete professional and will work with you on any goal! My wife and I lost so much weight and feel so much better! It's been more than 25 years since I have either worked out or stepped foot in a gym. Having doubts from previous injuries, I was hesitant to check out CrossFit at all. Trent and Liz are amazing! They work with you and help you strive and reach the goals you set for yourself. Everyone at the gym are a team and cheer you on. I love going and continue to improve. I have been encouraging my kids to join in as well. I have been learning the nutrition side that Liz and Trent teach as well. This place Is amazing and will help you no matter what your goal is!

Crossfit Simple Warrior is awesome! Trent and Liz are top notch, world class, genuine people. Being around them, you can sense the fire they fuel each other with. They are the kind of people that spread this to others. It’s awesome seeing the community they are apart of and now continue to build.

Have you ever thought that to really benefit from going to the gym, you might need a personal trainer or at least motivated workout partners to make it worth it? If you’re like me, you may not have the motivation to get up and go to the gym, work out hard consistently on your own and push the parts of your body that you don’t necessarily enjoy exercising. I’ve never done CrossFit and haven’t consistently worked out in a long time. This was a big concern to me when I considered joining the “CrossFit culture“. I was welcomed into this gym by it’s caring owners, Liz and Trent, and by it’s great members. The workouts are hard but practical. The time spent in class is organized and efficient. The weights can be, at times, heavy but the atmosphere is light and friendly. The idea of going through a weekly checklist I. E. Legs, chest, arms, back and god forbid, cardio, can’t be monotonous. Having the work out laid out for you when you arrive to class and having it thoroughly explained, feels like something being taken off your plate rather than added to it. The Simple Warrior has been a great addition to my life and I honestly look forward to going to every class. My body feels better, I have more energy and my attitude has improved because of it. I absolutely recommend at least coming to one class to see if it’s right for you. That’s all it took for me to get hooked.
