This is an exceptional personal training/coaching facility. Everyone is personable and professional at the same time. Owner and staff feel like your family and help you progress all they can. Kris G. worked with me on balance issues mostly. He is patient, kind and very encouraging. I arrived at the gym after two serious falls and Emergency Room visits. I was using a cane and also had a walker. I am now back on my feet and have not fallen since my first visit there. After a serious accident your courage is also challenged. Kris handles that as well. I highly recommend Total Body Works Personal Training for whatever your particular need is!!

After 4 months of PT post shoulder surgery, I still had constant pain and limited mobility. Within 2 weeks of ARPWave Neuro-therapy I worked though the mobility issues and pain. Now I can focus on getting strength back and do normal activities once again. I highly recommend!

My husband started coming to Total Body Works in July for the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. He has MCI. He did 30 treatments, took a 2 month break and then did 10 more sessions. In December he did another round of 10 sessions, making a total of 50 sessions. John and his team have been great!! My husband has shown improvement and looks forward to going. It's hard to say enough good things about Total Body Works Personal Training. I began coming here after doing research and reading some of the other glowing reviews. My goal was to get in shape and find a productive outlet for stress at work. My experiences here fall into two categories: personal training and injury recovery.
For personal training, Nikki has been very attentive and adjusts our workouts in response both to where we're at in the training plan as well as to where I am in relation to that training plan. We have been working for about 7 months and have been seeing consistent improvement, and it is that improvement that encourages me to keep going. If I had to pick one word to describe the training approach, it is balance. This program has brought about a slow reformation of a number of my habits, and that will support success that I can build on for years to come.
As regards injury recovery, I ended up dislocating a shoulder that had seen several injuries over the years, and John worked with me through recovery with ARPWave. My goal was to avoid surgery, and he methodically took me through the treatment program, explaining what was going on and answering my questions along the way. He provided me more insight into the nature of the injury and avenues for healing than I had even received from a specialist in the past. Finally, he has also followed up with me post-injury, insuring that I continue to be on a solid recovery path.

John has a fantastic team; we really enjoy training with Niyah. The workouts are never boring, and we’ve learned new exercises for muscles that are easy to forget about when you haven’t worked with a great coach in forever. Sessions are always challenging, yet fun, especially when using the Reaxing equipment. We’ve seen notable improvements in strength, balance, and stability (and even physique) after roughly a month of training three times per week. Also give them a try if you feel like you’ve lost motivation in the gym, you want to change up your training regiment, or check out one of the other services they have in-house. You won’t regret it.

I have been at this gym for about a year now working with Abby. I can’t say enough great things about Abby and the facility. I worked with Abby one on one to develop a training and nutrition plan and make sustainable life changes to better my health and fitness and reach my goals. The gym is super clean, has tons of equipment and private showers. Even on a busier day with other trainers I don’t ever wait for equipment and it’s not overly crowded. I’ve been working with Abby for 8 weeks and the change in every area of my life can not be understated.
When we met I shared with Abby that I had spent my whole life going through phases of doing well with exercise or diet but rarely both and lately neither. I was in a lot of pain and very frustrated with my physical appearance.
In the last 8 weeks I have learned so many great, easy ways to get proper nutrition. Pain is still part of my life, but has lessened to manageable levels. My understanding of my own body has also increased so much that I feel I have more ways to cope using movement and stretching.
Abby is extremely motivational in the way she encourages you and truly gets to know you. I feel I have a partner in my journey, not just an instructor. I have been coming to Total Body Works for over a year and I absolutely love this gym and the entire team. I do personal training with John. Have also done ARPwave and the HBOT. Katie and her NAD+ IV are the greatest. I have gone from living in pain to feeling outstanding physically with at least a 80% reduction in pain. My brief time at Total Body Works has been nothing short of fantastic. I had scheduled shoulder replacement surgery in November and was just hoping that John Marshall could have given me some exercises to do so that recovery after the surgery would be easier. Instead, his work on me, including the ARP Wave Therapy, led me to cancel my shoulder surgery. In just two days of treatment, I was raising both arms above my head, something that I hadn't done in ten years.
John's knowledge of the body and how it works is up there with any physical therapist and better than most surgeons. I was able to avoid surgery and avoid a year off from playing pickleball. I would highly recommend John for anyone having aches and pains; he will get to the bottom of it. With a little work, the aches and pains go away. Phenomenal service from a guy who used to ride bicycles professionally!

Total Body Works had been the best gym/training place I ever been to. I have had couple personal trainers before, and this place was beyond my expectations (thumbs up for real!). All staff were welcoming and friendly to talk to. I worked with Liz, personal trainer, for almost 5 months now (sad I have only one day left...). From Day 1, she was always prepared for the session, and planned the program for each day that's appropriate for me, but also challenging for me. Before doing training with Liz, I never thought I could lift any weights, however, her program helped me to progress a lot and made me believe it is possible! She also offers group session twice a week for affordable price, and was challenging for me (aka felt good after :).
I had a massage session with Jenny as well because my L shoulder was in pain for the longest time after snowboarding. Her massage hit the spot, and my pain was gone after 2-3 days getting massage. I got the full body massage, and was definitely worth it.
I never worked with John (the owner) personally, but he was always there, and always welcomed me whenever I had a training with Liz. Open for explaining some equipment I was not familiar with. Very knowledgeable. He was the first one contacted me when I was looking for a trainer (fast response!). He recommended me to work with Liz and the best recommendation!
They also have a chiropractor on site. I have not worked with him before but heard he was a great one too.
I cannot say enough good things about this place! I am only in COS for short term due to my occupation, but if I ever come back here again, I would definitely go back to this gym for more training without any questions :)

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS PLACE.
This is the very first gym that I've walked into that I have felt heard and most importantly, welcomed. I did couples training with Liz Rodman and LET ME TELL YOU. She is amazing. She tailored our workouts based on our personal needs while always keeping in mind what our goals were.
Aside from the training, the rest of the staff are also amazing. I couldn't believe that we found a gym that offers it all. You have to get a massage with Jenny. They also have an onsite chiropractor that is A-MAZ-ING.
I'm so grateful to have stumbled upon this gym and I will forever highly recommend Total Body Works and Liz Rodman for training.
Side note... they are also starting to offer group classes with a phenomenal rate, so take advantage and give them a try!!!

So much expertise under one roof. Total Body Works is an extension of my clinic to fill the gap where I can't help a client directly. Jenny is my go-to body work specialist. She's not just addressing a "tight muscle" where you feel it but body mapping where the imbalance is stemming from and making sure the compensatory patterns are addressed. I recommend all my clients to her. From a personal note, there's one intervention that ALWAYS increases my Heart Rate Variability the day after...and that's working with Jenny. Your muscle recovery is just one benefit. The bigger benefit in my book is the nervous system recovery.

My wife and I have nothing but good to say about John and his services. We had the privilege of working with him for about 6 months, and in that time be has helped us jumpstart our fitness health.
In addition to teaching us how we can workout more effectively, John has incredible technical knowledge and experience. He has shown us how to workout safely and effectively. For me specifically he showed me how I could row properly, including correcting my form so that I would stop hurting myself. I highly recommend John and his services!

The first time I took one of my family members to Total Body Works, we left absolutely amazed by the Marshall's understanding, breadth of knowledge and teamwork. We had never before experienced anything like what the Marshalls offer. I literally could not walk from an ongoing miss diagnosed ankle injury for months, and normal PT wasn't cutting it for my active lifestyle.
After a 10 day treatment I was back to hiking & biking pain free. Treatments exceeded what I thought my realistic expectations were.
Since then, I have started personal training and LOVE working out there. As well as following the tailored nutrition plan that has been put together for me as an individual.

John called me back the very next day after my inquiry and took the time to listen to my needs and concerns. John has been an awesome trainer for our family. He has continuously worked with our son to prepare his body for BMX and MTB racing so that all of his muscles engage for the activity. I have been going here for personal training for about two years. First off, the facility is super clean, meticulously maintained, and up to date. The whole experience is extremely professional, and the owner is reliable, thoughtful, and honors client confidentiality. His many years of experience shows.
John Marshall, the owner, will meet you wherever you are, whether you’ve never been in a gym or an elite athlete. Before coming here, the last time I seriously worked out in a gym was in high school, but I periodically see some of his other clients who are clearly more experienced than I am.
I was pretty vague on my goals, and he helped me refine my vision by designing a program and incorporating elements that I wouldn’t have thought of myself, like cross-body and balance moves. The thing is, he incorporates these many elements seamlessly so that you are getting more than just strength building without sacrificing any time or effort toward achieving your strength or weight-loss goals.

My husband and I wanted to workout together as a couple with a personal trainer. Total Body Works was the first place that popped up during my search. We decided to go for it. We started working with John twice a week starting in February. The initial timed stamina test about killed us both and we knew it was going to be a GOOD challenge for us. Since the beginning of the year I've lost 50 pounds, my husband has lost about 25 pounds and we both have gained so much strength and stamina. John gave us a healthy diet plan to follow (similar to Paleo) and it both healed us and made us feel so much better. His workouts are brutal but in the best possible way. They absolutely leave you breathless and dripping with sweat and quite sore the next day but you know you are getting every penny's worth. His equipment is top notch, his facility is spotless and if you have been wanting to break into Crossfit or just serious weightlifting, John's workouts will definitely prepare you since he teaches the big powerlifting movements. Overall we both highly recommend Total Body Works. Between his vast knowledge and caring attitude you will leave feeling accomplished and like you've learned quite a lot. John is nothing short of a miracle and blessing to my life. When I came to him I was going through a lot of trivial life events and had gained a lot of weight after leaving the Army. I was in search of that same motivation I had to be in shape when I was in the Army. I found John through positive reviews on various business review websites. My first experience with John had me convinced this guy ought to be a workhorse. I called the phone number posted for his location at about 9:00pm hoping to leave a voicemail. He actually picked up the phone to my surprise. John was able to answer my questions that evening and we booked an appointment for the very next Monday.
The first day I showed up early to tour around the facility to see how well kept it was. John was working with another client; however, John walked over cheerfully and introduced himself. John knew exactly who I was, and immediately I felt important. This place was spotless. The weights were neatly arranged in order with the numbers facing up. The floor is freshly mopped, and all of the weights are racked neatly. There are 4 bathrooms which 2 include showers for post workout. The bathrooms were extremely clean, and even the mirrors were freshly wiped down. There is complimentary coffee at the front door along with various protein bars. And finally there are solo cups along with a black sharpie next to a fresh supply of filtered water. It was safe to say that I was extremely impressed.
The fitness test was challenging, but John was right there on my side motivating me to push myself. We then went into the office for John to take my body measurements for record. John then discussed and educated me on really how the body processes food, and a proper dieting. We went over a diet plan that was not complicated at all. I myself am a stubborn eater, and knew I would have to go outside of my comfort zone to accomplish this diet. At this point I was all in. My journey started January 8, 2018 at 186lbs, 25% body fat, and 66inches tall.
Fast forwarding to today, I am still 66 inches tall of course. But I am also a lean, 148lbs and 10% body fat! These results were only achievable at this rate because of John. His diet has recharged my metabolism to when I was 14! I do 4 days of intense work outs with John. Each time I go in its a different exercise to make sure I am getting the best results. He pushes me beyond my limit, and I leave the gym drenched in sweat and pride.
It doesn't stop at the gym though. When I am at work people are constantly asking questions. "How did you do it?" "Can you teach me how to diet properly". People have been inspired by my journey, and it has been contagious. A lot of my co-workers has since been a lot more conscious about their eating habits and exercise. I have become a more confident man as I was in the Army. John has helped reinvent myself when I was a broken man. He has really gotten me to an "all in" attitude. What I really have grown to learn was it wasn't just about a diet or working out - it was a lifestyle change. This is why I give so much credit to John. He helped changed my lifestyle to one of positivity and motivation.
John makes it his duty to build a relationship with each and everyone of his clients. His family frequently visits the gym, as his wife also conducts a massage therapy service at the location. We are constantly laughing in between sets, or even just talking about life in general. I feel as if John is a long lost friend. Every encounter with John has been has been utmost pleasant.
I sincerely recommend John as a personal trainer. The man has changed my life in more ways than I can ever put to words. The body transformation I have accomplished in just 6 months has been once again remarkable. My results are direct attestation of John's education of the world of fitness and dieting.

Our son had a mid foot sprain from a football injury. We started Physical Therapy immediately and after 10 sessions he was better but couldn't play in a football game without significant pain. I'm a tennis player. It was, since I started, a sport I loved and wanted to perform well in. Each moment on the court was a gift, but then my wrist flared up. I kept playing, and soon, both my arms and my back were injured to the point where I wasn't sure I could ever play again -- and certainly not at the high level I had intended.
That's where John Marshall came in. When I first walked into Total BodyWorks, I was distraught at potentially losing my favorite sport. I had heard he was a "miracle worker" from a tennis friend, yet, I was skeptical. By this point I'd gone through every treatment imaginable, from dry needling to ART to several months off, with no significant improvement.
It took John thirty minutes to find the root cause of the problem, and two weeks -- yes, two -- to fix an injury that had plagued me for years. I'm back playing again, and I never thought I would be. I'm better than ever, winning tournaments and matches I wouldn't have dreamed of before.
Throughout the whole process, John was incredibly supportive, kind, and knowledgable. I honestly can't recommend him highly enough. He knows what he's talking about, and is constantly researching new ways to help his clients.
I currently do strength training with John, both to prevent injuries and improve my performance on-court. I have grown significantly stronger and I feel safer and less prone to injury whenever I play. I never thought it'd be possible, but here I am.

Immediately upon arrival he took the time to correct my form and posture while weight lifting and taught me things that I have been doing wrong for many years. He also went a step beyond and gave me valuable nutrition information that has helped me within the first 60 days lose 6% of my total body fat while gaining 8 pounds of muscle and still counting.
