I have been training with Nate for several months now following surgery and I cannot recommend him enough! He has helped me tremendously in regaining strength and balance, as well as tailoring my training to aesthetic goals and athletic training for martial arts. Nate is such a positive, encouraging, patient, and down-to-earth personal trainer who really makes you feel comfortable and spends the time getting to know you and clarifying your personal goals. He really takes the time to break down each exercise, explaining proper technique and the specific muscles being utilized. He is extremely knowledgable about anatomy and physiology and willing to answer any and all questions, no matter how rudimentary. Nate also provides guidance for meals, dieting, and recovery, and goes the extra mile to answer questions outside of training sessions as well. Overall I highly recommend personal training with Nate!

I’ve been training with Nate for a few months now and I am so much stronger. I was looking for more advanced and challenging training, and he delivers—sessions are progressive, consistently challenging, and include a great mix of weightlifting and functional training that has improved my strength, endurance and flexibility. I started working with Nate after I became fed up with going to various knee doctor appointments, getting multiple cortisone shots in both knees, and having no success with physical therapy. I was so tired of throwing money away and my doctors assistant suggested getting a personal trainer to help me. I found Nate through a Facebook post and haven’t looked back since. I’ve worked with Nate for the past few months and found that he’s always encouraging, helpful, and insightful. He makes the workouts fun, is relatable and has helped me be able to do my first lunge in years! This has been the first time in years where I’m not in pain with every bend of my knee. I’m so grateful for finding and working with Nate, all around awesome and knowledgeable trainer who does everything in his power to help his clients!

What a great experience! My trainer Nate was fantastic. I used him for months and got a noticeable difference without even going on a hardcore diet. I highly recommend you give this guy a shot. Super down to earth dude with a lot of fun variations to many weight lifting techniques that I’ve done. Also, his price is super reasonable and you get to work out in a private gym. 5 stars all the way.

Nate is an awesome trainer. I have been working with him for over three months (2-3 days a week at 5:30AM). I am far stronger after training with Nate than when I started, and I was working out 6 days a week. I was not a weight-loss client, but a muscle-gain client. Nate will take the time before training with you to learn about you and your goals. He can also provide nutritional plans. In addition to being an awesome trainer, he is fun to be with and a great guy. If you want to meet your goals, pick Nate!

Nate is an awesome trainer. He is patient and kind, and I never once felt intimidated or judged for what my body could or couldn’t do. Through my sessions with him, I learned I was stronger than I thought I was, and I was able to develop muscle and increase my flexibility! I started training with Nate in January and have been extremely pleased with his approach and the results. Nate provided a full program for training as well as diet and meal guidance, which has always been a challenge for me. The approach is balanced, and Nate is encouraging and supportive - he is extremely engaged throughout the session and pushes me to achieve progressive goals in a positive way. I look forward to working out and the time goes by fast, unlike other experiences I have had in the past. Building muscle and focus on balance is important at this stage of my life and I can visually see the results and feel great. I sought out a personal trainer through Groupon in the beginning of August 2021. The reason for getting a personal trainer is because I feel lost in a gym, and loose motivation when I’m by myself. I also lack the knowledge, and science on how to properly move and correctively perform exercises. Luckily I found Nate at True Living Fitness!! He has been amazing, and has taught me so much in the 5 months Ive been training with him. He’s professional, knowledgeable, and pushes me to my fullest potential. Nate is more than just a trainer. He is a coach, a teacher and a buddy. I thought I knew what weight lifting was and the benefits it’s came with until I started lifting with him. I leaned a lot about the sport and discipline but also about my self. In the time we trained together I gained healthy weight and am extensive knowledge of exercise. The one on one training was worth every penny. If you’re looking for a smart and helpful trainer, I recommend coach Nate.

I have worked with four other personal trainers in my life and so far Nate is THE BEST.
Nate is kind, compassionate, intuitive and extremely knowledgeable.
I have some health challenges (hypothyroidism, adrenal issues and chronic fatigue) that have made it very difficult for me to be consistent with working out in the past.
When I started working with Nate, we did 30 minute sessions twice per week. Some weeks, I couldn’t even do that.
Nate was so patient and understanding which really helped me to be less judgmental toward myself and my body AND most importantly, not give up.
We have built up my strength and stamina to one hour sessions twice per week. Now, we are about to add a third one hour session to the week. I never thought this would be possible for me!!
My body is transforming from the inside out but most exciting of all is that I now actually look forward to working out. This is a massive shift!
I highly recommend Nate. He’s a phenomenal trainer!!

I started working with Nathan at True Living Fitness so I could build my strength and lose weight. Nathan has created a space where I feel comfortable pushing myself and following his plan for me which is to push me to my full potential. He is always professional and supportive. The area we train in is also filled with people working out hard and it’s a comfortable environment for women which was important for me. I thought I’d only do 3 months but I’m just going to keep going!

If you are looking for a local fitness coach who is genuine, kind, on top of his game, knowledgeable, and willing to listen to your needs while supporting your goals, Nathan is your guy! I was looking for all that and someone who who was integrated with body, mind, soul. I enrolled in a three-month program to build up my stamina and energy as well as help me trim up. I worked with Nathan for three months and felt his immense support since day one. From the first conversation we had, Nathan put me and my health goals first. He made it a point to get to know me and understand what I wanted to get out of our workouts. I have been training with Nate for the last 7 months – this is the first time I’ve worked with a trainer and I was pretty clueless about anything beyond cardio when we started. He has been great; he took time to understand my goals and we worked together to develop a plan. He’s been flexible on scheduling but always reliable (even at 5am). In our training sessions he pushes me, but always carefully, always attentive to form, and with clear explanations of the motions and the exercises, and he takes the time at the conclusion of each session to work on stretching and recovery. Working with Nate has been a great experience for both accountability and for building my own understanding of functional fitness, strength training, and how to make the best use of my time at the gym.

I am 60 years old and Nate is my personal trainer. He challenges me at every session, yet listens to me and adjusts my workouts when I have any aches and pains. He’s very creative and changes up my routine so they are never boring. Nate is very personable, sweet and reliable. I’ve been a client of Nathan’s for years now. He trained me in Colorado while I was pursuing MMA keeping me in shape and ready for anything. Now I still work with him via phone and visits. He coaches me on nutrition and workouts, making sure to switch it up about every six weeks. He listens to what your telling him about how your body is reacting and makes good calculated adjustments. I would recommend this man to everyone! Instate or out of state. He can really help you!!!

It had been a while since I’d worked out regularly so starting with a trainer had me a bit worried – especially because I was dealing with an injury. Does he have a bodybuilder attitude? Is he going to make me feel stupid? Is he going to push me too hard – to the point that I end up hurting myself more? As it turns out, I didn’t have to worry about any of that! Nate is a wonderful trainer. He is very knowledgeable. He has put together a set of exercise/routine to help me recover from my injury. Nate always takes the time to explain things to me or to answer my questions. He constantly encourages me to do more/better. He’s the ultimate cheerleader! I highly recommend training with Nate. I have always been active and tried to “stay in shape” and eat sensibly. So it took me by surprise to realize I’d neglected exercise enough that it was hard for me to get up from the recliner, and even painful to get up from bed or stand up from gardening. Reaching overhead was painful and I was wakened from sleep with pain in both hands.
Now, after my exercise program with Nate, it’s hard to rememberI had any pain. I’m stronger and more flexible. I can get up from the floor.
Nate is knowledgeable and shares his expertise so that you not only learn what exercise to do, but why it helps. He is positive, encouraging, and directs your focus in an affirming way!
