Hottest yoga studio I have found in Denver by far!! However one instructor, Bashiri, in particular seems to have lost the understanding of what yoga is. It is not some militaristic everyone move at the exact same time practice. All humans are very different. I recently just completed my 500 yoga cert in nepal and with that completion I finally have the vocabulary to explain why this teacher just doesn’t sit well with me. There is no asking of injuries, or special needs, no accommodation or posture correction. And there is a lot of focus on everyone move at the exact same time in the exact same way. That is not yoga. Energy is not felt simply because everyone does it at the same time. It is felt through intention and purpose. It was shocking to see the continued focus on move the exact same, versus the yoga flow. Every person is different, every snowflake, every ripple. It is also not a badge of honor to be worn or flaunted that you can stay in the room for the entire session. People over heat. News flash. and telling everyone that you have to stay in this room is actually a health risk, open your mind soften your vocabulary and watch how your students flourish

Came to Denver to support my sister during childbirth. I couldn’t be more grateful for all the fantastic teachers at Tula. They inspired with their practice, gently pushed me to improve my practice ( had my first full practice no breaks outside the hot room for the first time there
🥰🙏🏽🥰), and every time I came to a class I felt rejuvenated, relaxed, clear minded and full of joy to share with everyone around me. I was able to be the supportive brother I wanted to be thanks to all of you 💐🙏🏽💐

I’ve always loved this place and chose to visit during a 36 hour trip. The heat was amazing the room was lovely. I totally got lightheaded and decided to invert to get blood flow to my head. Not the place for that kind of self care. I was told to “get down!” By Sargent projected anxiety. Which was fine, but what crossed my line as a human was her rant which included shaming me by name and announcing to a room full of strangers that I was staying in a hotel. She compromised my safety. Not ok. She then rambled to other yogis afterwards how wrong I was and she said it while I was sitting 2 feet away as if I were invisible and deaf. Let’s have the conversation, Elizabeth, of how we prepaid for yoga and towels and when we arrived cheerful and grateful you couldn’t load your app so you told me to get smarter! Your behavior was benevolent and liable. Avoid the Sunday smack down folks because this chic is the antithesis of Tula. Namaste.

Great instruction and a challenging session without a doubt. Good to get your sweat on which helps detox. Go on a near empty stomach and it’s way easier than after a meal, I learned the hard way 😅

This is my favorite yoga studio in Denver!! I cannot recommend the Hot 90 enough. It is flat out brutal, but so worth it. I walk out of that class a different human being. All the instructors are great, and the consistent curriculum/practice allows you to really see meaningful progress.

Not hot at all. Earth ways wasn’t my cup tea. Didn’t appreciate that the entire studio smelled like a giant wet sock. I’ve never experienced that anywhere else. Wasn’t really able to focus on deep breathing because of the pungent smell.

10/10!!! As a yogi who used to struggle with motivation Tula has completely changed my outlook entirely. I am now always excited for class, no matter who is teaching it. Tisha and her entire staff are great at what they do.

Tish was very lovely at check in and the room was nice and hot, but the sequencing was not very cohesive and a bit bland. Also, cueing students to make their own way to a shape or to close their practice out how they want, and then telling them no or to come out of the option they chose because it’s “not the energy of the room” is kinda wack.

I can confidently say that Tula Hot Yoga in Denver, Colorado, has been a transformative experience for me. When I first walked into Tula, my yoga experience was limited, with my knowledge mostly stemming from P90X and occasional classes through
ClassPass.

The instructors at Tula are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and motivating. Their expertise and genuine care have been instrumental in my significant improvement in mobility, flexibility, and overall wellbeing.

The atmosphere at Tula is warm and inviting, making each class feel like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The 6am class on Thursdays by itself is such a lovely way to start the day. It makes the rest of the day so much easier and enjoyable.

In a city like Denver, where there are numerous yoga studios to choose from, Tula stands out for its exceptional community, skilled instructors, and the transformative experiences it offers. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a beginner like I was, Tula Hot Yoga is a fantastic place to deepen your practice and enhance your wellbeing.

Tula Yoga Studio has been a lifesaver for me, particularly in managing my chronic lower back pain. The instructors have significantly helped strengthen my body while providing substantial relief from my lower back pain. After about a year of classes now- I have noticed a significant improvement in my mobility and pain reduction.

I have taken the heated Pilates class and enjoyed that too! I highly recommend Tula for anyone seeking a more holistic remedy to nurturing their body and mind.

Tula is an absolute gem in our community! The atmosphere of this studio is warm and inviting, and the instructors are not only incredibly skilled but also genuinely caring. I initially signed up for an introductory month, and the experience was so transformative that I quickly became a member.

The hot yoga sessions have been a total game-changer for me. The instructors provide unique cues that have not only helped me build strength but have also added exciting nuances to each posture. My fiancé, who has had persistent lower back problems for about thirteen years, absolutely glows about how much these classes have relieved his back pain! We've also tried Tula's heated pilates class and we're hooked, it was incredible too!

Tula is more than just a yoga studio; it's a community where we've found joy, peace, and a sense of belonging. I highly recommend Tula to anyone looking for a cozy and friendly space to explore and deepen their yoga practice.

I love this studio!! Best Bikram/Hot yoga in Denver IMO. I really appreciate instructors who can guide you and not just regurgitate a script. There’s definitely a sense of community at this studio and I highly recommend if you like hot yoga or are interested in trying it out. Shout out to Nancy for an amazing class and somehow memorizing everyone’s names, even new people 🤯

I’ve tried a few different styles of yoga over the years, but never hot. The heat can make even the simplest movements pretty intense. In the traditional Hot 90 classes, I still struggle to get through the whole series of poses without resting, and that’s ok because it still feels good, especially afterward. In addition to the Hot 90 and Hot 60 classes, Tula also offers Earth Ways and Pilates in a 90 degree room, as opposed to 105, which I really enjoy. The classes are longer than I’m used to but I leave feeling reset and re-centered. All of the instructors have been really kind and welcoming too.

Tula is a special place, everything about it is authentic, healing, caring and consistent. It is a small women owned business, the yoga teaching and studio atmosphere are welcoming & knowledgeable. It is not an understatement to say Tula’s yoga classes, long time teachers & owners have made a hugely positive difference for many of us longtime devotees. The hot yoga is a set series, focus is on breath, holding poses, moving together while allowing for injury modifications & all levels. Also great to try their special offerings often on weekend nights. Tula is a gem, one of my favorite places.

I'd heard good things about this studio and was really excited to try it out but to much disappointment, the experience was less than favorable. First off, this studio is not advertised as a Bikram yoga studio, yet, every single class is structured in the Bikram style. I understand not wanting to associate because Bikram was an abusive teacher or not being able to call yourself a "Bikram studio" because the teachers have not gone through the proper training to do so but I believe it's important (and ethical) to be transparent about the kind of yoga you're offering. Secondly, I did not appreciate being called out in the middle of class. I am a visiting teacher and an advanced student in my own practice and in class there are postures that are too easy for me (hence why I wouldn't have chosen this studio if I knew it was only Bikram style) I chose to move into a deeper expression of these poses because thats what I needed in my personal practice and I was called out for it. To clarify, I'm also talking about moving into a B/C/D expression of a pose or brining my leg into half lotus during a forward fold. Not a big difference that would or should impact anyone else's practice. We're all on our own mats and as a teacher, you should encourage people to stay on their own mats and not pull their attention to other people by loudly saying, "PLEASE DO NOT DO OTHER POSES BESIDES WHAT WERE DOING". I simply ask this: why? Any teacher whose been through a decently good training and years of practice should know that you will have a variety of levels in your classes and you should honor all of them equally. It is EXTREMELY unprofessional to call out any student in class and if you aren't teaching Bikram then why uphold such strict rules? Like I said, I was disappointed because I'd heard really good things about this studio but when you know, you just know.

Hands down, the best place in Denver for Hot Yoga. Instructors are excellent, packages are reasonable and they get the room HOT. I get a great sweat in every class. Extremely detoxifying and all classes are at the perfect pace. Both the 60 and 90 minute classes seem to go by quickly. For serious Bikram yoga practice!

As a fellow Yogi, I appreciate the image here. However, I cannot in good nature say I support this studio. I was skeptical about visiting after reading couple of the reviews. I checked it out anyway and felt there was not enough bang for my buck. The prices aren't terrible, and the instructors are kind. But any feedback that "doesn't match the class description" is deemed out of line. Overall it wasn't a good fit for me. Anyone should be open to trying it though as it may end up being the right place for you.

I've been going to Tula for a little over two years now. I love this place. One of the few I could find that actually has a full 90 class. Kat is one of my favorite instructors though all are great. They have been going above and beyond with health measures during covid. Only reason I wouldn't recommend this place is so I have less competition to schedule my classes!

I signed up for a 90 degree class and it was not 90 degrees.

The Earth Ways class is described as a 90 degree class that offers weight bearing on the hands and arms. I did not experience either.

I paid the day pass fee and emailed Marcy & Tisha my feedback after I reflected on the class. They told me I misread the description and that we (the studio and myself) are not a good fit.

Ouch.

New to Denver! Decided to try the “Hot” Earth Ways Saturday class and am so disappointed. 30+ minutes of the class was spent stretching each finger. I’m open to different types of practice, but I left feeling completely scammed.

A wonderful experience as soon as I walked in the door. Traveling for work, I visit yoga studios all over the country and this was one of the best. The studio itself is lovely, well appointed, welcoming with soothing colors. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the rented mat which was clean and thick. If you're experienced with hot yoga, you know a towel on your mat is essential. So often a rented towel is simply a bath towel which bunches up during practice. At Tula, I was provided with an actual sports towel, made for use on the mat. So far so good but what really counts is the quality of instruction and Tula exceeded my expectations there as well. Breanne led us through a beautiful sixty minute series. Straying a little from a strict Bikram tradition, her guidance was clear, calm and inviting. She provided gentle suggestions for modification and contemplation that set the tone for challenge without struggle. I look forward to my next trip to Denver, I will definitely return to Tula yoga and I highly recommend the experience for both new and practiced yogis.

The only hot yoga place around Denver that is close to Cap Hill. I really enjoyed the class. But was somewhat confused on why every single instructor taught the exact same poses. I tried going to four different one’s and every single one taught the same exact movements. Its one of those yoga places where they are drones and don’t express their individuality through practice. I didn’t feel it deserved anything special other than they have hot yoga. Solid 3 star!!!

Let me start by saying I typically love Tula classes and all their instructors. Last week I took a class with Kat, it was my first time going to her class and I would not recommend it. This instructor was combative, rude, and condescending to everyone in the class. She was encouraging individuals to do poses regardless of injuries calling out these individuals by name in a negative light. She was so combative that one individual tried to leave and she loudly told her she was not allowed to leave the class. I typically go to yoga to de-stress and start my day off right. This class was stressful and frustrating which all could have been remedied with a better suited instructor:(

Tula is a great studio. The actual yoga space and locker rooms are compact but the whole space is welcoming. What makes Tula so awesome are the people - fantastic instructors that are not married to a dialogue and they offer lots of practical advice to help you improve your practice. I travel around to lots of studios outside of CO and yet always consider Tula my favorite - highly recommended!

I was trying to help a brain injured friend and told her to get fluoride out of her diet. Marcy became enraged and said her sisters' kids had to take fluoride pills because their teeth were so rotted and I said on the back of toothpaste tubes it states to call poison control if you ingest more than a peas size amount. Marcy yelled at me to come outside and yelled at me for 10 minutes, when I tried to speak she shoved her hand in my face. Tisha then called me at home to yell at me some more. I had been a member for over three years. I decided I couldn't take the hate they were dishing out and withdrew but they automatically sent me a Thank-you for my membership and wrote what a strong community they are. I laughed and wished them a Merry Christmas which was met with more of their hate. They are the most hateful people I have ever met. If you know more than they do, keep it hidden, they are very ignorant and mean-spirited.
Many of my friends say they miss me but I feel so much better being away, they are very phony and fake. They are against freedom of speech.
