I've been going to Vasa for awhile and out of all the Vasa in Colorado Smoky Hill is my favorite to go to due to mostly their most newest GM I believe his name is Marc Hill the way he has changed the front desk and the cleanliness of the Club especially coming from Quincy and Buckley this Club is the best out of all of them I defiantly can tell the difference since his been their due to the front desk attitudes and how more interaction
they give their members and more involved they are in the classed events. I miss this gym so much. I was a member for two years at this location (and VASA for many years) before I had to move away. The fee was reasonable and cancelling was easy. This location has all the equipment I need and is cleaner than most. Sometimes certain machines are in need of repair and can take a while, but at least it gets done. I appreciate members here reracking their weights in the proper place.

I like this gym and most of the studio flow classes. Some of the good teachers have stayed consistent, but other accessible times seem to be a revolving door with no consistency in their practice. I enjoy all the classes with Chellie, Ian, MJ, and Ellen. They are all consistent and you know what kind of class they teach. But otherwise, You never know if you’re getting a beginner or advanced teacher which is sometimes helpful for the day when you know what you are engaging in. I have never had issues finding equipment but it is usually busy. They have made some processes easier, like picking number spots on the app or not having to be assigned a massage bed, but the red light therapy, is a hit or miss. It’s broken a lot and sometimes takes a long time to fix it. And if it’s full, you kind of have to hover around to get in next. Not a great system. There is usually one massage bed broken at any given time. Really disappointing that there is no sauna.

VASA is a scam!
I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. Joining this gym was the worst decision I’ve ever made.

Before signing the contract, I specifically asked about their exit policy. I was told I could cancel anytime after one month of training. That turned out to be completely false. In reality, you can only cancel after paying for all three months with weekly payments of $90, plus an additional $100 cancellation fee.

This deceptive practice left me frustrated and disappointed. What was promised upfront was not what I actually faced once I was locked into their contract.

The area is clean mostly , although this is a super packed small vasa gym , the reason for the the low star rating is due to the staff is not kind and not welcoming but the gym is okay, also missing weights by the turf area.

Okay, I get it. The staff likes to stand there all day and talk because they don't hire people who care about the facilities; they hire people who try to look cool.

That's fine, but what's not fine is those dirty bathrooms. There are too many people in and out to not clean them at least three times a day.

Side note: why are people hogging machines? If you're not using them, move aside and let someone else use them. Possibly put a sign up about it, its not cool, like "I get it you have nothing to do today but sit there on your phone but most of us are busy and need to get it in while we got the time to do so."

This gym is pretty good. 99% of their Life Fitness machines are operable and clean enough without super deteriorated pads. Large turf area doesn’t get crowded. Bathrooms are clean and bottle fillers work. The people that frequent this gym generally have decent etiquette and I haven’t witnessed anyone doing anything outright obnoxious, except for a handful of supersetters that expect me to have clairvoyance about the equipment they are “using”, but that could happen anywhere.

One nitpick I have about the company is the lack of smartphone payment options for protein drinks and accessories for sale near the desk. Out of all the types of establishments that could benefit from phone based payment, a gym ranks at about the top of that list. I really can’t imagine how any corporation in 2025 would allow there to be any barrier between my money and their balance sheet. Let’s maybe get with the times and encourage the corporate higher ups to finally accept Apple Pay and Google Pay nationwide.

I've tried and priced out several gyms in the area and Vasa pretty much has it all. I decided to try personal training with Matthew and he's great at pushing me the ideal amount, whether I'm on fire or down a peg each time. If I want more amenities I can go to the other Aurora location, but just the classes and equipment including the InBody scan totally meet my needs, and for a fraction of what boutique gyms charge.

Don't get a membership here if you like to work out in the late evening. They dim the lights way down and blast the music to max volume half an hour before they close. Like I'd get 5 or even 10 minutes before, but half an hour? The workers are just being obnoxious and want you out.

This is the worst gym experience I have ever had. I don’t understand how this company is still in business.

The gym was dirty and overcrowded. I went in just to try it for one day and was talked into a “free, no-obligation month.” I was told I could cancel if I didn’t want the membership, but I was still charged.

I called to cancel and was told it was taken care of. A month later, I was charged again, and this time they also added a yearly membership fee. I called again and was told once more that it was handled, but that I would need to contact member services for a refund.

When I called member services, they said they had no record of my cancellation and refused to give me a refund.

Every person I spoke to passed the responsibility to someone else. No one helped me cancel a membership I never even wanted in the first place.

I went in to try the gym for one day and ended up with a big bill and a huge headache that I’ve been dealing with for months.

I want to give a big shoutout to Duke, who works at the front desk at the VASA Fitness Center in Centennial. He’s incredibly friendly and provides excellent customer service.

When I called the corporate office to switch my home gym from Colorado Springs to Centennial, I was told there would be a charge to make that change. I spoke to Duke about it, and he went above and beyond to help me. He didn’t just stop at one message—he kept following up with corporate until the issue was resolved and my home gym was correctly updated without the unnecessary charge.

Just had my first Studio Flow infrared yoga with Tiffany Joy and she was absolutely amazing. Her energy was calm yet motivating, and she guided the class with such intention and clarity. I love this gym! The staff is very friendly and always makes me feel welcomed, especially Xitlaly, because she always goes out of her way to connect with me and wish me a good workout. She genuinely cares about the people who walk in no matter what they are training for, its the best kind of feeling every time I walk in. The equipment is always clean and offers great turf space to work on mobility or non-machine training sessions. I love that there is something for everyone, whether it be the classes, the hydromassage chairs, free weight area, or the in body scans. For the price, you can't beat it, not to mention that everyone is there to better themselves in a variety of ways!

I wasn’t allowed into the facility because my grandfather wasn’t with me. On top of that, I was told they no longer allow free guests, even though the app still states that they do. What’s strange is that my sister was let in earlier that same morning without any issues. However, when we returned together, we were both denied entry because we don’t share the account with our grandfather. The male employee who spoke to us was unnecessarily rude and aggressive throughout the interaction, which made the experience even more frustrating.

I joined Vasa for the daycare because I have a 2 year old and an 8 year old. They love it. I love that I can see them having fun. The staff are so friendly in the daycare and the gym. Lots of good classes. The only downside is the weights machines get very busy and some days I can’t do the workout I want because every machine is in use. The showers are sometimes cold too. But overall we are very happy at Vasa. The price is very reasonable for everything you get!

My primary gym is the Denver, Sheridan location. Went to the Smoky Hill and 470 gym, due to being in the area, and it was great. Extremely clean and every machine was working. This location has 12 stair masters and numerous treadmills and every one was working. All the equipment was working...Compare that to Denver which always has 2-4 out of 8 stair machines broken down and many other pieces of equipment constantly broken and the gym is very dirty. Denver needs to learn from the Smoky Hill location...I cannot believe the difference of the two locations.

LOVE this gym. The studio classes have changed my life completely. Jen, Deanna, and Ian are some of the most wonderful instructors - they will make you work hard. I also love the regular group classes, Sal in body pump will not let you give up. Even the classes I didn’t stick with had phenomenal people running them. I’ve never been disappointed here. I love this gym so much, my favorite Vasa Location as well as the best gym overall. They have amazing staff that is very nice and helpful as well as knowledgeable. The gym is not too crowded, has a good amount of space and equipment, and has great personal trainers and fitness classes as well. They also offer many great amenities like massage chairs tanning beds and more. I personally train here with Andre and he is a great hands on personal trainer and makes a fantastic workout program. Every time I go in Maddy is always so very helpful,and kind. So is the staff member named Sofia. The staff always goes above and beyond what could be asked to do they make the gym feel like home.
