if i could leave a 0 star review i would. i truthfully dont even know where to begin when it comes to vasa fitness in greeley. if you’re looking for a gym that has no care for its guest and would rather milk you for all your money, look no further than this one!
every other day something new is broken and you’ll be lucky if it gets fixed at all. in the last year i’ve watched this gym build two new studios while half the cardio machines and equipment are out of order/broken. rather than investing their money into equipment and maintenance, they seem to be spending it on more ways to get money from you! it became unbearable to say the least. the lack of care for the equipment makes it impossible to workout at times.i finally made the decision to cancel my membership and i’ve never felt more free.

Do not plan on being able to use Cardio equipment very often at this gym, in over a year straight of going there only 2, maybe 3 out of 6 stairmasters are ever operational every day. 30%-50% of treadmills are also non operational at any given point in the day. Weights equipment goes out and could take a month to fix. There is never an attempt to fix the equipment from what I have seen going in morning or night. The staff is great and always nice, just a very serious equipment neglect.

This gym has become extremely frustrating to use. There are always multiple machines out of service, and they stay broken for weeks — sometimes over a month — with no updates or urgency from the staff. It feels like management doesn’t prioritize maintenance at all. When half of the equipment is unavailable, it leaves very few options to exercise, especially during peak hours. For the amount they charge every month, this level of neglect is unacceptable. I’m seriously considering canceling my membership because the situation keeps getting worse instead of improving.

The gym for the most part is pretty nice and well maintained. The staff is generally friendly and helpful as well. They could be a bit better about preparing certain machines that are out of service.
My main complaint is the parking lot at this location. If I wanted to go off-roading in my civic, I would take my happy self to Estes and drive it off a cliff. Instead, I have to drive around and avoid these things like they’re freaking land mines straight out of WW2. They’re literally everywhere and they’re HUGE. As the largest and most expensive tenants in this plaza, it is be your responsibility to get this remedied. Please do not tell me that they have not been filled solely due to negligence by the property managers.
P.S. - After reading some other reviews and their responses from “the owner,” I am thoroughly convinced that whoever writes said responses does not actually take the time to read the reviews in their entirety.

I like the price. They have a lot of equipment. My biggest complaint is things stay broken way too long. Ultimately, I'm happy about the price so I'll stay since I'm grand fathered in at $10 a month but my biggest disappointment is the fact that they STILL haven't fixed the one person bathroom door.... That was a plus because the men's bathroom is always moist and kinda gross. The door hasn't been fixed for months. Are you guys ever gonna fix it??

VASA always has pieces of equipment down. It takes Months for them to repair equipment. I’ve been complaining about the shower stalls for several months and they have yet to do anything about it. There’s doors on the shower stalls that do not lock. They don’t fix that again. Several months that I’ve complained. Now the parking lot is full of Potholes and it’s getting worse. Try to miss one pothole you hit another. This affects all members there as we all have to park there. Now that Winter is almost here now it’s going to be even worse and their excuse is going to be well. It’s cold out. They had all summer to fix it and they didn’t even bother to touch it. There’s a reason why they keep losing members, and that reason is their lack of maintenance

I like the gym but it took the cleaning crew to 3 weeks to remove the gum from.the shower in the women locker room......I also have spoken to 7 different employees about my account as well as the attached family's account sadly after asking management to call me numerous time I have never received a call from anyone and i have called only.to.get placed on hold and no one picks back up. i even tried resolving it with customer care and they refer me back to my gym to bad here they dont give 2 flying fs about there members wish they would do better and stop bs around the matter

Update: they did finally replace all the burnt out bulbs so that’s good.
Update 4/6/25: it’s been almost 8 weeks since I reported the bulbs out in the tanning bed to the manager. Initially, 11 bulbs were out. 2 weeks after the initial report, I checked with manager again, 13 bulbs were out. Today, 19 of the 48 bulbs are out and not working. It’s a waste of time to even try to tan. I feel like I’m being lied to about the bulbs being on order because 8 weeks is ridiculous and I don’t believe it. If that’s the case, they need to find a new vendor. Now I have to spend more time and money to go somewhere else to tan. *end update*
I loved the Studio Flow Restore class this morning. It was so relaxing. This location keeps their facility super clean. There are wet wipes always available. My other gym where I work is not clean and I hate it. I do like to tan at this location but several bulbs have been out for awhile. They told me the new bulbs are on order so I’ll update this review once it’s fixed.
One more shoutout to Angela, I love her Tuesday and Thursday morning classes, Cycle Pump and Total Body Conditioning.

Great personal training team, really good classes. The Studio Red, Barre and yoga classes are phenomenal and gym area is kept pretty clean. However, I would not recommend this gym if you're a conservative woman. They allow men in the women's locker room (transgenders). I believe the gym is for any and everyone, however the women's locker room is supposed to be a safe space for females. There is a single person bathroom/changing room outside of the locker rooms which the Trans people should be using. It is very uncomfortable to have men in the women's locker room and also concerning. I've seen kids come with their mom's in there and they have kid daycare in the gym and if I had a young daughter it would not be acceptable to have biological men in the women's locker rooms. Also, equipment seems to be broken a lot which is a problem but I do see it gets repaired pretty quickly. If Vasa fixed, attended to these issues it would get 5 stars.

I’ve been going for five years with a personal trainer. I’ve had my ups and downs and I’ve been alone for 10 years. I’m 33 years old now and it was pretty disappointing. How connecting they were they’re connecting to anyone anyone that has problems but when you’re a lonely male suffering from childhood abuse, hard abuse, sexual assault abuse, the alienate you roll their eyes and look the other way and then go talk to other people. They’ll have a conversation with you, but They’re never really in the conversation they just look around at other people because I’m starting to realize that these are people that are very Shallow and biased, self absorbed even the ones that understand these kinds of things they throw you away like a Rag.
You have to walk like them talk like them and dress like them
And if you aren’t, They really don’t care what you do what you have to say even when you’re working so hard on your internal self
If you’re looking for a personal trainer, even on the level of professionalism go somewhere else you’re wasting your money

The staff at Vasa Greeley—front desk, coaches, and instructors—are fantastic, and the gym is always clean. Unfortunately, recent corporate decisions are hurting the member experience. The latest change is an increased Studio class no-show fee: $3 for the first missed class each month, then $10 for each one after. They also quietly extended the cancellation window from 8 hours to 12, making it harder to avoid charges (like having to decide by 5 p.m. if you can attend a 5 a.m. class). Pair that with long-standing app bugs that remain unfixed, and it feels less like good service and more like squeezing loyal members for extra money. It’s frustrating to see a great gym lose its member-first focus.

Vasa Flow class was exactly what was needed at the Greeley gym. The instructors were friendly, amazing, and very knowledgeable about the art of yoga. A 5am class would be the icing on the cake.

Update: Vasa, Greeley is changing and as such I'm also changing my 5-star review. I want to point out that this is not about the staff. The staff (front desk, coaches, instructors) is still amazing and I've always appreciated the clean facilities. However, due to decisions being made by the corporate office Vasa, Greeley is losing its appeal. The most recent reason? The powers that be have decided to implement an additional $10 no show fee for the Studio classes ($3 for the 1st time and then $10 thereafter. It resets every month). Initially, everytime you did not cancel your attendance 8 hrs before the class started, you were charged $3. Then without notice, the time was increased to 12 hrs before the start of the class (imagine having to decide by 5pm whether you'll be able to attend the 5am class to avoid a charge). Now this increase in the no show fee appears to be a price gouging strategy, especially since there seems to be no reason for such a hike. The app has bugs that have not been fixed after reporting it multiple times. Yet, we are hit with this new charge, which feels like a slap in the face to the loyal customers who have supported this establishment for years. It is clear that our loyalty means nothing and its such a shame to see a good gym go downhill over a few bucks.

I participate in a variety of classes at VASA; body pump, yoga flow, and studio RED. All the instructors are knowledgeable, experienced, personable, encouraging, and fun to interact with!! For the past 1.5 years I attend a class on average 4 - 5 times per week and the experience has been extremely positive! I have also used the pool, tanning, red light therapy, and the massage chairs. There is something for everyone!! And you can’t beat the price, very affordable!!

Got in a car accident right after joining, got a concussion, didn't remember I got a membership. Once I got the first charge I tried making appointments for their group classes, but they have extremely limited times for the few classes they do offer. Along with the limited times for classes, according to their website when I tried booking most of the classes, it said they didn't offer those classes at my location. Also their personal trainer prices are about $50 higher than most places. Super unreasonable price. When trying to cancel due to the fact that I'm still recovering from my car accident and they can't actually provide me the services I was paying for, I found out they were going to charge me another 67 bucks for no reason. I do feel robbed. I highly encourage any person looking for a gym to look for a gym that can deliver on what they charge you for. This is not that gym.

This gym (Greeley location) has a lot to offer in terms of equipment, classes offered and friendly staff. However, over the last 2 years the supply of grip handles, ankle straps for cable workouts, hip pads for smith machine, etc… have dwindled making it difficult to even use the equipment in the gym. When you ask the front desk they tell you they need to order them and offer the option of buying our own and bringing it in. Excuse me? You want me to bring in hip pads and ankle pads because Vasa is too cheap to buy the add- ons needed to utilize the equipment. It’s really unacceptable. Vasa needs to do better.

Cancelled my membership and they continued to charge me trying to get $900 in collections from me I even have the email that says that I cancelled and then of course they send me a bill and then I get an email saying oh actually that email was by accident you didn’t cancel. And then I tried again and thought it worked then they sent me 2 bills and are trying to do collections. Typical gym scam.

Love this gym, I have been going for 3 years now but I really wish there was more REB3L and they would change the days/times. They changed the schedule last year and gave them the days/times that nobody wants or can attend and it's messed up. Sunday at 10 am and Thursday at 6:30 pm...no thank you, this change has affected their attendance volume. I'd attend so much more if the schedule was changed the schedule to something more reasonable.

I couldn’t be happier with the care my child has received at Vasa Kidcare. From the very first visit, it was clear that the staff is dedicated, caring, and genuinely passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Megan has been especially wonderful to my daughter as she is shy and prefers to hang out with her whenever possible. Money hungry business with no integrity or honestly. I got me and my wife a membership a few months ago and have since been overcharged multiple times. Wife called to fix it and to just put the money towards the account payment but come to fine out it was never fixed and now are told we still owe. My wife has tried calling and have only been addressed by rude employees who yell and can't get to the bottom of it and will just hang up the phone call

Due to the recent poorly announced removal of 2 amenities (Racquetball Court & Fitness Cinema) to cater to the Studio Red classes, I was offered a month credit and yet was still charged for the month I was repeatedly told was covered by said credit (I kept tabs on it as I was offered the credit at the beginning of the month and was told it would be applied and it never was). At this point, aside from constant maintenance issues, overcrowding, terrible customer parking lot etiquette, and probably the most dishonest billing department I've dealt with when it comes to gym memberships, I'm heavily considering cancelling my and my partners membership. It's extremely disappointing they didn't even consider asking members if this removal of amenities would be something they want. Especially if you pay the mid tier membership pricing, you've essentially just lost 2 paid Amenities in order to upsell you to their studio red class membership, basically negating the mid tier memberships value ( hell you may as well have lost 3 if you consider the constant repairing of the 3 massage chairs they have) so why even bother with the 25 dollar tier at this point? Absolutely not worth being labeled a "luxury" gym
Update: chose to cancel only because when I called their billing department to explain the situation the first lady I spoke to was extremely rude and must have been having a bad day because they talked over me when explaining them just hung up on me
But thankfully after calling back, a much nicer lady helped me cancel everything and HOPEFULLY my membership is cancelled now.Definitely recommend checking elsewhere before choosing Vasa.

I would have loved to leave a good review of this gym. However, I can do no such thing since HONESTY and INTEGRITY are the motivating factors behind my reviews for EVERYDAY PEOPLE.
I decided to give this gym a try because my Husband asked me to. We, both, signed up for the 30-day free pass just to try them out. We normally go to Planet Fitness.
I did like the open space along with the amount of equipment that they have in comparison to Planet Fitness, and that is the only kind thing I have to say about this place.
I was immediately met with issues that led up to me filing a complaint against TWO other members of the gym. It was "resolved" as far as I know because no one reached out to me about the issue, and I no longer saw those members.
I decided to cancel my membership today because of the way my Husband was mistreated by the staff.
My Husband fell asleep in one of the massage chairs and was met by a staff member, along with a random gym member who the staff member went onto the floor to get, to AGGRESSIVELY tell him to remove himself from the room or else. When my Husband decided to speak with them, they told him that his account would be on hold "until further notice." This happened a week and a half ago. Although he had been charged for the month, he is still unable to attend the gym. Therefore, I attempted to cancel mine as well.
Unfortunately, the staff was not vigilant or attentive when it came to other gym members in the massage chair room. A few days before this incident, I walked into the area to find an elderly woman who was STUCK in the massage chair. She was unable to see the buttons clearly to navigate her time. She explained that the time went beyond the initial 10 minutes that she was told it would go and at this point, the chair was beginning to cause her harm as she was in recovery from a previous surgery and the intensity of the chair hurt her back and neck. When she tried to fix the issue, her chair lifted tilted her backward, causing more discomfort. She asked me for help, and I adjusted the chair to her preference until she decided that she just wanted to get off of it. Not one staff member ever came into that room to assist her, and as a fellow gym member, I should have never been in a position to do their job, but I am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL that she was comfortable and courageous enough to ask a stranger for assistance otherwise, she could have suffered physical damage to her body.
Furthermore, I was told that if I did not want to pay $52 to cancel (originally $100+ to cancel) a $28 monthly membership, that it would be written down as "unwilling to pay" until it becomes delinquent and eventually goes into collections.
When I asked for them to do to my account whatever they did with my Husband's account, I was told that it was "on hold" shortly after I was told it was "canceled for a different reason."
With the inconsistencies in their story, along with the fees and the inexcusable behavior of the staff members, I believe I made the right decision for my family's safety.
Planet Fitness may not have all of the extra space or equipment, but I would rather go there and enjoy peace of mind. I forgive these people, but this is beyond unprofessional.

Getting rid of the cinema room without giving people the option to cancel their membership is ridiculous. You're taking away all the perks of the gym without even asking your members is an abuse of power. That was one of the options available to me when i signed up and is now unavailable without any notice. The pool is often dirty or they take aome of the water out so when that happens it was nice to know there was another place i could go. Now the amenity is not ofered and i as a member have no say what so ever? Enfuriating.

I joined in June and when I did I had asked front desk if it was usually busy at the pool, they said depending on the hours usually it is when they have classes but otherwise it's quiet. Since there have been children diving at the pool, it's always either packed or dirty and men will come stare at you swim. It's very uncomfortable and ive tried going in at different times of the day to avoid this ,unfortunately I haven't had a very good experience. The locker rooms are very basic for a luxury gym. I was expecting good water pressure with warm water but it's always lukewarm or cold. I really like the steam room but it isn't worth that high of a monthly payment if it's the only thing I'm comfortable using.
Changed my review from 2 stars to 1 start because despite me and other women voicing that it is uncomfortable how often people stare VASA is now removing the ONLY room in the gym that is somewhere you can work out in the dark without people staring which is the cinema room. I cant believe they would make such a big change without considering the members. Im EXTREMELY disappointed in this gym. Idk who is running it but please consider your clientele.
The staff being nice is one of the only perks.

I belonged to another gym for 6 months and didn't make one friend. At VASA, there are people who know me and care about me. It feels like a community. There is every race, age, and fitness level. The staff is fantastic. Very skilled, knowledgeable, and helpful. I love ❤️ going here.

I have been training with Shelby for a year and a half now at Vasa. All of the sessions are personalized to meet my goals and I have progressively gained strength and confidence in and out of the gym. Shelby pushes me just enough during our sessions and I appreciate all of the knowledge she has shared with me thus far and helping me stay accountable. There may be some sessions that I am not her biggest fan, but I wouldn’t want any other trainer to be kicking my butt, she’s the best!

I really enjoy this gym! The staff is very friendly, the amenities are great, and I love all of the class options. The Studio Red classes are a great workout, and are a fraction of the cost of other HIIT options in town, which are very similar. I highly recommend this gym.

Would give Zero if it was an option . Make sure you read your personal training contracts the instructor told me 5 days to cancel Vasa said it was 3 . Fought for months to get out of it. Paid $1079 and never got one session in. Very rude customer service the manager will never call you back or say it’s not his issue. The corporate office is even worse. Paid the debt 2 month again and they are still reporting as unpaid and I have filed a complaints against the company.

The membership itself was worth it but the company you buy the membership from is shady. I was always reluctant to join a gym and now I know why! After telling several other gym employees about a problem with the Airdyne, without any resolve even after a couple months, I decided to tell Nico. I’d noticed he was always interacting with members, welcoming them and saying goodbye, as well as doing all the things it seems the employees should be doing. I knew he’d resolve the issue. Once I told him about the problem (the display needed a battery, so simple right?!) he had it fixed! I appreciate his willingness to fix a little problem for me that makes my workouts so much better! Give that guy a pay raise!

Old rundown equipment, takes weeks to fix broken equipment. Too crowded, too many members for the amount of equipment provided and the size of the gym. If more equipment cant be provided that means you need to stop accepting more members. There are times that you have to wait too long to use the equipment.

If you want to be around exclusively body builders or old men then go here. I have never felt so uncomfortable. The only time I ever saw an average or heavier body was in the dark movie room or a late night class. The equipment setup is intimidating and I never found the pool or hot tub to have anyone other than senior men. Additionally, canceling the membership is a literal nightmare. You can't do it online or over the phone.

Really a deep gym with amazing perks. Sauna, steam room, hot tub, infrared work out studios, and every piece of equipment I can think of. I haven't even taken advantage of all they offer yet. But. Cleanliness is an issue. They clean once a night and staff does what they can around that. Usually something broken. Hot tub is an item that is usually down. Get they early to avoid the mess.
I change my review for 3/5 to 5/5. I'm seeing cleaning of the locker rooms at least every 2 hours daily. Very impressed with the recent changes

The only way out of an annual contract with this gym is to die (the trainer i was working with resigned AND I broke my hip and they still wouldnt let me cancel). Then once it changes to month to month, they will still charge you a ton of fees when you call to cancel. They have no compassion and only care about money.

BEWARE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHEN YOU GET A MEMBERSHIP! I started my membership May 6th and I got STUDIO $40/month. They say you get $5 REVIVE monthly credit but that is a LIE. You have to have an active membership and have the month pass then you get it, so for me I wouldn’t get it till June 6th. Also if you downgrade or upgrade after a week or so it’s effective immediately so I got cheated money because I was told upon sign up that it’d be effective next month cycle. 😒 So if you wanna play their game, start with the cheapest plan then upgrade a week in so you screw them over. I’ve had a VASA membership in Colorado Springs and it is SO MUCH better than this location. I’ve already canceled and of course there is a cancellation fee and another $50 fee. Worst gym experience I’ve had.

Dad gets cancer had to take care of him until he passed. Owner of our home told us we had 30 days to move out because he was selling the place. Called to have my services cancelled due to hardship and they had absolutely no compassion for anything. I didn't have a lot of extra funds do to what was going on. Moving in today's time requires a ton of money. Now receiving harassing calls three times a week plus threats of going to collections. This place is a corporate machine with absolutely no moral values. The people that work there are great people, however. Vasa as a company is part of the problem in this world. $$$ OVER EVERYTHING ELSE.

This business is a joke. Spent months trying to cancel and pay my membership fees after the associate deleted my vasa app account and made it impossible to handle. In club staff was rude and refused to allow me to pay and cancel my membership in store. Online support was rude and unacceptable. I was a member for about 5 years and intended to pay for my membership to get caught back up again but paramount acceptance sent it to the lawyer saying that I was in default for at least 70 days but when I went back and looked at my bank statements there was a payment taken on December 29, 2023 for 46.99 and I was going in on February 1, 2024 to make a payment. That's when I found out my account was sent to the lawyers office and now paramount acceptance says that there is nothing that they can do about it and the lawyer wants the full amount even though I'm on SSI and it would cause a hardship so I have not been back to the gym.

The only downfall is how crazy busy it always is after 5pm any day! I would negotiate one of my kidneys for them to open up another VASA in the area (preferably West side of Greeley) !!

I'm sad that I have to leave this review. The senior staff are great. The new hires are rude and lacking. There aren't enough water classes offered for the amount of people who attend them. I kick people because theyre too close due to lack of space and I don't think they like it too much. I've been a member for almost 4 years. During that time I've had to deal with multiple different sections being down due to maintenance. This results in me paying out of pocket for services I can't use. The water massage chairs keep breaking. A leak in the roof, a broken sauna, then a broken steam room, then a broken sauna and steam room, then the pool, then all three and now the pool is out of commission. Also, there's not enough rubber mats to protect people from falling which has happened multiple times I've seen, in the shower room. They recaulked the showers which were backing up, and it looks like my kid did it. This stuff with the pool being closed is taking too long and I'm probably going to cancel my membership because of it and the fact that the classes are too full anyway.
