My one star review no way reflects the staff they are friendly and helpful and I'm also thankful that you show early up in the morning before the sun rises with smiles on their faces
That said the Peck deck has literally been broken for 4 months and now we get all new treadmills. 24 Hour Fitness up the road recently closed so the gym has been extra EXTRA packed. How a piece of equipment can be broken for over 4 months is beyond me. Literally just shows lack of caring by corporate.
I'm going to be rallying everybody at the gym to leave negative reviews until we get this piece if equipment replaced. I will give my review one week to hopefully make it to somebody who can take care of this before I start getting others to leave reviews too as I know many of us are very frustrated that this has been neglected for so long.

Multiple machines stay broken for several weeks (sometimes months) at a time. Benches are ripped and gross in awful shape, stickers that display the weights on weight stacks are all trash and illegible making it tough to know where to put the pin, machine attachments are ripped/frayed/broken in terrible condition, bathrooms are never taken care of and always smell awful, and it’s always incredibly crowded. Most of the issues this place has are EASY fixes that they just don’t do and you can tell they do not care at all
EDIT: every time I come here it gets worse and worse, these machines have been broken for so long they are full of dust and just plain nasty. I am not sure how they let this place get so bad, it’s honestly pretty embarrassing

I think this gym has great potential. Friendly staff. Equipment is pretty great. The negatives really bring this down quite a bit. The mens locker room is very unkept. It smells like urine, floors are dirty, trash is on the floor constantly. The inside of the lockers are gross. The pool and hot tub are pretty gross. Last week the water was overflowing in the hot tub, so it was literally just mixing in with the dirty floor. Apparently staff did not recognize this. I constantly see the staff talking to each other and hanging out. Their time could be spent rounding/checking the bathrooms and pool area and keeping the place clean.

Attention VASA corporate, this facility is in poor condition. The locker room’s floors, lockers and showers are extremely filthy and are in need of a deep cleaning (disinfection). Moreover, this is a health concern and is not acceptable! In addition, the weight equipment benches need to be reupholstered (tears in the vinyl, etc.). Please address these concerns accordingly. Thank you!

When I signed up the person signing me up was very rude a short with me like I was an annoyance, but I brushed it off and have been going here for a little under a year. Equipment is constantly broken, treadmills, weight machines, sauna, basketball court, even the toilets and hand dryers are constantly out of order. Cleanliness also takes a backseat here, there are constantly wipes on the floor and tucked into the machines, you could blame the customers for that but usually the trash cans are so full you can't fit anything else in there. Would be a great facility if the people running it cared even a little bit.

All the staff is GREAT. Most of the equipment is in good working order. They are short on chest fly machines. Having only two with one broke for over 3 weeks and a line of kids waiting. Wet-room is always dirty. Cloudy water or chlorine overdosed enough to bleach your hair. Ask me how I know. Pool floor concrete is black with ground in dirt. I'd avoid the wet room. There is always a line for the massage chairs with two broken down. Place is packed they should be able to afford to keep the place better.

I am so disappointed in the gym’s kidcare workers. Specifically, from today Oct 24 at 10:15am. I used to bring my child here several months ago and she loved it. We took a break for a while, but came back today. She was excited to come. Once we got there, there were two very small kiddos crying and screaming on the floor and the young lady working there did not do a thing! She just stood there starring into space, the other worker came in (she mentioned she was from another location) she at least picked up one of the crying babies. These girls are clueless about how to entertain children or care for them. They did not provide a welcoming or caring atmosphere. Needless to say, my child didn’t feel comfortable with them so we left. I also think the other parents should be made aware that their poor little ones were left screaming and crying without anyone showing them care. It’s very disappointing and needs to be addressed.

Decent gym for a good price, but can be so packed, especially after school until later in the evening. If you want to not have to fight for equipment, you have to be there really early in the morning. And even at the best times, there's never enough free weights/dumbells.
Edit: been a member for several years and have watched as maintenance has gotten worse and worse. Machines will be broken for weeks or months. Benches and pads are all torn and ripped. Bathroom facilities wont work. Id suggest looking at other gyms in the area if you want equipment that's been taken care of well.

Went in Monday October 13th with my son to play basketball ...the general manager out front decided to call the police on me because she couldn't find my son's account because the system was down. Instead of just letting us play basketball as if I would come up there with my son if he was not on my account do you see what I'm saying to where she took her job way too serious she was way out of line and decided to call the police. Needless to say I'll be saving my $50 a month cancelling.

Today Monday October 13th I went in with my dad to Vasa fitness to play basketball. The lady at the front counter claimed that she was the manager maybe the general manager but did not act like it. She was unprofessional and said the system was down she was acting very rude to my dad and he wasn't really having it. As I sat there waiting to play basketball she decided to call the police on my dad for no reason because he told her that we were going to go play. I'm on his account but they couldn't look it up because their system was down which is not our fault we still deserve to play basketball. After all my dad's been a gym member over here for almost 6 years. I'm pretty sure he canceled his membership over this

I was in there today Monday October 13th. I was at the counter and a gentleman and his son were trying to play basketball in the system was down apparently. I was watching how the according to her she was the manager on duty a Hispanic lady I'm pretty sure she said she was the general manager but she definitely did act like it. She could have easily let that man in his son play basketball but she took it to another level called the police for a man simply trying to play basketball with the Son. She was out of line on the way she handled that unprofessional. I think I might cancel my membership over this craziness I witnessed.

I have been a member of Vasa for two years now. I just cancelled because I haven’t been using the gym. They charge an annual fee of $75. I got charged this today. I called to see if they could reverse the charge since I just cancelled and haven’t actually used the gym since April. They told me no and nothing they could do about it. Clearly don’t care about getting returning customers if they can’t be understanding of someone who hasn’t used gym since April, and have been paying the monthly $24.99 even though I haven’t been using it.

I have been coming here from just over a year now to work out, it was a great experience, and friendly staff, however lately I’ve noticed an overall decline in quality of services. I used to love the loud upbeat energy of the classes offered, but for months now the sound in the group fitness area has been broken. They’ve been using a small portable speaker since the sound broke. Classes are frequently interrupted by sound cutting out, and the energy just isn’t the same. I asked to speak to management with my concerns, but they (Jen) were very dismissive. I will be canceling my membership if this isn’t addressed.

As a Studio member, I love VASA's amenities. From the group fitness and yoga classes to Studio LFT and the massage chairs, this gym has everything I personally need and love. The LFT classes are an amazing newer addition and it's like having my own personal trainer. The Studio classes like LFT and Deep Stretch Yoga fill up quickly, so I make sure to book my spots 2 weeks in advance.
The only thing I don't like about VASA is their class cancellation policy and fee. If you need to cancel a Studio class, you have to do so 12 hours in advance of the class or they charge you $3. The cancellation used to be 8 hours in advance but they changed it recently.
If your personal or work schedule changes suddenly within 12 hours and you want to switch your Studio class time, the charge still applies. I understand classes are popular and get full, but $3 and 12 hours seems excessive.

Had to go back and edit this review because after talking to another employee who I absolutely love here recently after this incident, I had learned that this girl told me her name is Mica, who is in fact another employee at this location. Her name is actually Gabby and this review is directed at her. This is just another disappointing piece to go along with this review, really shows her character. And I think it’s important management knows she is dishonest and willing to throw her teammates under the bus for her faults and unaccountabilities.
I’ve been a loyal VASA member—along with my husband—for 6 to 7 years, and I’ve never experienced such disrespect from an employee as I did today.
An employee named Gabby, young, blonde heavyset, was incredibly rude when I arrived around 5:45 PM—15 minutes before closing. Instead of greeting me professionally, she rolled her eyes and said “Ugh, did you sign in?!” in a snarky tone. I hadn’t even had the chance to walk up to the counter yet. Her attitude made me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome that I said “Never mind actually..”she sarcastically smiled and said “Thank you,” like she was glad I was leaving.
When I politely asked for her manager’s number to report the interaction, she gave me even more attitude, said “Whatever,” and gave me the number for member billing. I reminded her the way she acted was completely unprofessional, she couldn’t care less.
This wasn’t my first negative interaction with her either and quite frankly I’m sick of it! I had a serious health scare at the beginning of this week, her entire demeanor brought me down. If VASA values its members, they should not allow this kind of customer service to go unchecked. GABBY if you see this review I hope you think twice about how you approach people because sometimes people are fighting silent battles you know nothing about. You should treat everyone with kindness, especially when that is the energy they are directing at you! I am sorry you felt inconvenienced at YOUR JOB during business hours, you might want to reflect on that because it sounds like an internal struggle you need to deal with. Lastly I will say, I love this gym, but employees like this ruin the experience for long-time members like myself.

This club has gone down hill and does not seem to have the care and attention of any one that owns or runs it.
I just canceled my membership today because the locker room cleanliness is absolutely deplorable. The floors are always filthy and there has been graffiti in the lockers for months now (see my photos).
The equipment maintenance and availability is abysmal and the staff don’t seem to care about the facility either. All the seats and handles on the equipment are grime and crusty.
I was talking to another member who pays to use the pool, spa, and steam room. They told me the spa (hot tube) has been running cold for weeks and is rarely if ever cleaned. As I left the club for the last time today, I looked and saw the temperature gauge for the hot tub was around 85 degrees. I’m pretty sure that doesn’t count as hot for a hot tub. Apparently the same lack of attention is given to the pool as I have been told. The member I was speaking to said there has been band aids and wads of paper at the bottom the pool for days some times. I feel bad for the people that pay extra for these amenities.
If you are looking for a gym in Littleton CO don’t bother with this one unless you don’t mind filth, poor maintenance, and lack of attention by the staff / ownership to make it better.

I’ve been going to VASA Fitness on Bowles in Littleton for a while now, and while the facility has potential, the maintenance of equipment leaves much to be desired. About half of the stair climbers have been out of order for over two months, and 10-15% of the treadmills are also non-functional, sometimes for months at a time.
This is especially frustrating during busy weekend mornings when patrons are competing to use the limited working equipment. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of attention to maintenance in a gym that otherwise offers a good variety of machines and amenities. I hope management prioritizes fixing and maintaining equipment soon—it would make a big difference for members.

The gym itself is really nice but be careful of the additional charges you may find on your account like the “annual rate guarantee” which is $49.99, so add about $4 to your membership per month, and they don’t warn you when your year is coming up so you will just find that charge on your account. I canceled my membership a few days after noticing this charge and they said they can’t refund me for the “annual rate guarantee” even though I haven’t gone into the gym since they charged me and canceled within 1 month so I won’t even benefit from that charge.

Penny pitches you on any adjustments you want to make to your account including cancelation and when you try to reach out to support, they throw the legal agreement in your face with no form of negotiation whatsoever. Lack of customer care and really just extort anybody that doesn't stay in the same plan and doesn't have a life.
They give a break option for 90 days but guess what that's another 25 dollars
want to make a change to your plan that's another 25 dollars
want to cancel because its not a good fit in the first 6 months that's another 25 dollars
If you want to cancel your plan that's another month of membership.
Was kind of a strange atmosphere, I had several occasions where people would just stare at you while you used machines until you got uncomfortable and changed or finished your set.
Needless to say, stay away from vasa, I sure will after the greedy anti-consumer tactics they use.

The Littleton Vasa gym is a gem that I’ve visited recently. As a powerlifter who has set a national record in the deadlift only category for WRPF, and holds three state records within the Midwest for specific powerlifting classes, I know the importance of having top-tier training equipment that enhances your performance during every workout.
While I’m visiting Denver, Colorado, to see my family, I needed a gym that would provide the optimal experience. I wanted to give it my all and leave feeling like I had given it everything, not just the equipment, but the people around me who inspire me with their hard work.
The staff at the Littleton Vasa is incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. They are also some of the most knowledgeable specialists in their craft. Regardless of the multiple facilities in the area, the Littleton Vasa stands out as the best training facility in the Lakewood area of Denver.
If you haven’t been there yet, you’re missing out. Don’t just take my word for it, put it to the test and see for yourself. You’ll be glad you did.
A very special thank you goes out to the staff and VASA Fitness. Thank you!

I’ve generally had a good experience at this gym—clean facilities, helpful staff, and a solid atmosphere overall. However, I recently tried to use the hot tub and was pretty disappointed. The water looked visibly dirty, not cloudy from chemicals, but genuinely murky. When I asked about it, the staff said it was just the chemicals, but as a customer, I expect clear, well-maintained water—especially in a shared hot tub.
I appreciate that they were polite, but I hope management takes a closer look and ensures the water quality stays up to par. It’s still a great gym, but cleanliness in the spa area is a big deal, and I’d love to see that taken more seriously.

The team at VASA- Littleton are absolutely amazing. Allison and her front staff team are always so welcoming and the Coaches (Kami, Isaiah, Trisha, Elmer, Ryan, Payton, Barrie, John, Olga, Alex, John and Shaunna - Studio Red/Studio Lift) are the BEST. They are supportive and encouraging, but they will push you each time because they care and analyze you each class to ensure you are at your best. The gym and locker rooms are always clean. If you’re looking to join a gym where you are supported and feel like family, this is the place.

Joining VASA Fitness has been an awesome experience! This gym isn’t just a place to work out—it’s a place where you actually want to be. The energy is great, the staff is super friendly, and the whole vibe is fun and welcoming.
The personal training team is fantastic, and I have to give a special shoutout to my trainer, Ien. Working with Ien has been a game-changer—super knowledgeable, supportive, and always pushing me to improve. It’s clear that the trainers here really care about helping members reach their goals.
One of the things that really sets VASA apart is the Studio Lift classes. These strength-training and lifting-focused sessions are something I haven’t seen at other gyms, and they make working out way more engaging and add a level of accountability that keeps getting me in the gym. The trainers—like Alex, Ryan, John, and Isaiah—are not only knowledgeable but also bring a great energy that keeps the classes both challenging and fun.
And it’s not just the staff—the other members here add to the experience, too. People are friendly, supportive, and there’s a real sense of community. Whether you’re hitting a class, lifting on your own, or just hanging out, there’s always a positive atmosphere.
If you’re looking for a gym with a positive vibe, helpful trainers, unique class options, and a sense of community, I’d definitely recommend checking out VASA Fitness!

There's a lot of truth to recent reviews. The facilities are often dirty and there are out of order signs on a non-trivial number of machines. Even when it's "slow" there's likely a wait for a bench or machine. But what else do you expect from a big chain?
The main reason for my rating is the deceptive marketing. I signed up in a supposed "promotion" that waived a sign-up fee. But when they don't disclose anywhere on the website and that you don't find out until you actually start signing up is that they will still charge you a $50 annual fee and an additional $25 "cancellation fee". They allege that these fees "lock in your rate" and that you can cancel anytime after six months but those are both mandatory fees on top of your first month. So even if they "waived" the "sign up fee", you're still charged $75 on top of your first month to start.

3-10-25 propaganda TV is on today!!! Gotta love a gym who supports false narratives and division!!! If that’s your jam come join Vasa where they don’t care about anybody or have any values!!!
2-12-25 Vasa still showing propaganda TV if you want to head in and catch the latest lies!!!
If you want to watch Propaganda TV this club supports that!!! NO news channel should be displayed on any TV EVER!!!!
also noticed the club cleanliness is going downhill! Chalk everywhere and mass dust bunnies lining the bathroom hallways… gross!!
Equipment is newer which is the upside to this club. Downside is the showers in Men’s locker rooms. Only 2 of the 5 are currently available for use and no soap available in either. Having to wait in line on a busy morning can be an inconvenience. Also one hand dryer in mens restroom works. Over all club is good.

Updated with new nasty bathroom pics. It’s been like this for multiple days. Ive quite literally never seen a place disregard cleaning so heavily in my entire life it’s honestly disgusting
This place is literally never clean. There is trash that stays in the lockers and bathrooms for days and sometimes weeks. Great facilities and friendly staff. Even when busy there is still enough equipment for everyone. Kid care workers are fantastic and very good with the kiddos. Coaching staff are all very professional and encouraging in all of the studio classes. Sauna is never too busy to enjoy. 😉 Also, love the New Studio LFT classes.

I want to share my experience with VASA Fitness (Littleton, CO). I am nearing 70 years of age and have arthritis in my back and was having difficulty doing basic choirs - like lifting and walking up 3 flights of stairs (oxygen issues). So last October 2022 I was basically forced to call on VASA fitness and to have a trainer / coach work with me. Well let me tell you I was assigned to JEFF HEINING which I realized was a true blessing. Jeff worked with me in performing various exercises and over time I no longer noticed my stiff arthritic back pain and I was handling carrying things and climbing stairs at my apartment so much easier. Jeff is / was very professional and provided me with a list of exercises to work various portions of my back and legs and arms. I highly recommend Jeff as a coach / trainer. Thank you Jeff. Regards, Stephen Wathen

VASA is awesome! So perfect for all my different workout types. The PT is taking me to the next level, the Studio Classes are keeping me engaged with others and working on HIIT and Recovery. Looking forward to the Studio LFT, to augment my other workouts at home. Definitely check it out if you haven’t yet! Such a great value and staff that really do care.

The gym itself is okay. It’s busy but so is every other cheap gym. I’m giving it one star because the childcare was great at one point but now they just put my 1 year old down in front of the TV instead of letting her play. It’s also almost impossible to get daycare spots during the day if you do shift work.

A clock in the sauna, medicine basketballs & keeping the bathrooms/showers cleaner throughout the day would go an incredibly long way 💙
Update: big clocks just outside the sauna & upgrades to multiple rooms for membership classes have made this place 10 stars. Ask for Elmer &/or Alex if you want great personal training. I love seeing Elmer, hitting up a deep stretch class, then the sauna 👌
& if you don't want personal training they just opened a room for classes made for sports lifting I.e. Squats, bench etc. Check it out!!

Vasa gives you the run around when you try to cancel - costing us hundreds of dollars!
My husband and I were on an account. I moved out of town in May & my husband tried to cancel my account while he still used his. He was told you can only cancel them at the same time. Sounds odd to me, but we kept it open so my husband could still use the gym.
He cancelled our memberships in July since he also moved out of state.
When checking our accounts recently I saw a monthly charge for Vasa! Here is the kicker… for one membership. Seems pretty strange only one was cancelled when they told us on the phone they both need to be cancelled at the same time. Clearly a lie. We haven’t even lived in the state since July, but have been paying Vasa. When we called to get this cleared up they simply told us we never canceled!
Such a pain! They’re greedy. Take your money to another gym. There is nothing worse than a gym that makes it so difficult to cancel!

I started this membership over a year ago, choosing it over a competitor Chuze Fitness. This location had a lot wrong, which I didn’t notice at the time of initiating the membership. I went a few times to another location, and though I had a better experience, it’s been a while since I came in and decided to bring my boyfriend for a day pass at my original gym location. This is supposed to be free. The front desk was very obviously not happy to have a job. He asked my guest if he was planning on starting a membership TODAY and though we WERE considering adding him to my membership at some point if today went well, the answer was no. Today he is not joining the gym. Instead of trying to be a better employee and sell a membership, he said it would be $15 for a day pass. I inquired as to why he would be charged, since a day pass trial online is marketed as FREE, and he said it’s because my guy doesn’t want a membership. What an idiot. Worst sales tactic I’ve ever witnessed. Now, not only did you not gain a potential member, but you will be losing an existing member. From the other reviews, I can tell that maintenance and customer service has just gotten worse since my initial membership started and that’s just sad. I can’t believe I’ve given this organization my money for so long.

Wow this place has really gone downhill. They used to keep this place so clean and the equipment was always in great shape. Now it looks and feels like an old 24hr fitness. There is always a sign saying out of order on lots of equipment all over the gym, (used to have the best maintenance guy) the tv wall looks like someone broke in and stole all the tv’s, the dumbbells are missing or in horrible shape in both the stretching and functional training area. Never have enough weights in the fitness class. The lights have been out or not working for months giving the gym a dungeon feeling. The worst part is somehow they keep getting rid of all the best trainers that made this place special. Not sure if it’s management or corporate but it’s really sad

This gym has become trash. Equipment is often dirty/sweaty and broken. Toilet paper and soap always out. Staff is mostly teenagers who stand around flirting with each other. I had an issue with the staff recently which resulted in the manager and another teenager cornering me in the locker room while I was changing because they insisted I needed to allow them to photograph me (it seemed like they didn’t believe I was actually a member). I offered to provide my drivers license which they would not accept. I brought this issue to the corporate customer service and asked for an apology from the manager and was just told they would “handle it internally”. I was happy to cancel my membership today and join another gym.

my husband got into the hot tub and experienced chemical burns because bleach had been added. Although prior uses, it was fine. This time is wasn't. His skin was extremely swollen and red. Shorts completely bleached. The GM was supposed to reach out the following morning but didn't. We left a message at the gym. Then emailed. Then called corporate. The following day still nothing. Maybe she's dealing with other more important gym related issues than helping the customer with chemical burns from using their facility. But anyway crappy customer service. Also, they won't care if you get a chemical burn apparently.

Bate and Switch!!! The club advertised and was offering cycle classes and then dropped them this week to get members to pay for a higher club fee to join their “premium” workouts. Too many choices in the are to be forced into this..…Chuz Fitness, 24 Hour-Fitness, Lakewood Recreation, Foothills Parks and Recreation. All that offer better or equally competitive pricing.
The sad part they don’t care about the instructors who have touted the Vasa Club or the clients these instructors built and retained for Vasa.
Vasa is a scam that will get you in the door and not offer the components of the membership paid and force you to pay a higher membership.

I am disappointed corporate decided to no longer offer any cycling classes. Since corporate wants to be a pilot program for another premium “zone” program. Corporate has discarding their wonderful cycle trainers and customers.
Today I was in a cycle class with 17 people and told to find somewhere else to go. However, there are no location near me that offer cycling option. I however, I could drive 15 miles out of my way to attend a location that has a small amount of options for their customers.
My family of four is forced out will need to go Chuz Fitness just 1/2 mile from Vasa: it is disappointing this club so readily discards members and their staff. I have enjoyed Vasa cycling class for years and will no longer recommend this company.

SHOUT OUT to GM ALLISON, managers ALEX, COULTON, ISAIAH & each FRONT DESK STAFF, COACHES BROOKE, PAYTON, TRISHA, VANESSA, JENNIFER, ISAIAH to name a few, and THE AMAZING PT TEAM!
Everyone is professional and has a beautiful sense of kindness to stop everything and help solve your problem on the spot.
(The V-TEAM asks you the “little things” that matter most, unlike “small talk!”
I joined 2.5 weeks ago and partake mostly in VASA’s REDZONE, INFRARED CLASSES, ENDURANCE machines, AND HYDRO RECOVERY “AMAZING” MASSAGE CHAIRS!
VASA HAS SO MUCH MORE TO OFFER.
VASA has an “energy lab” kind of VIBE / AUDIENCE compared to most local Littleton gym facilities. Then again, it's each person’s preference when they sign up for their gym.
Keep up the excellent, healthy & friendly VIBE VASA!

2 stars only because it's a newer club. I joined this place a few months ago because it had 9 stair climbers. Now it has 4 out of 9 that are actually working. The 4 that are working have 4 people who are all on there for an hour plus. The club off Sheridan and Jewell had even fewer actually working than this place. At least 4 treadmills here are broken. All these broken machines are Life Fitness products. They suck as far as longevity is concerned.
The men's locker room has a non working urinal, hand dryer and busted soap dispenser. It looks like the cobwebs in the corners have been there since this place was opened.
It seems to me that Vasa is headed down the same tired road as most big box gyms: open to a lot of fanfare, flash, and newer equipment, but not perform the maintenance required by that equipment and the facility. In a few short years this place will just be another dumpy gym with broken down equipment and space. Sad....

Normally I wouldn’t write a bad review for a gym. My husband & I recently moved to the area so decided to try out all the gyms to see which one we liked best. We were told by multiple people that VASA had a free day trial; after going in, the woman at the counter told us it was $15 each for a day. I then said I was told it was free for the day trial after giving me an attitude, she eventually agreed. Once noticed we didn’t have in-state licenses yet, she asked to see a lease to prove I live in the area. I discussed this with the few people that mentioned the free trial & they said they didn’t do anything of that sort to get in. I did what I had to do to get in even though I felt it was SO UNNECESSARY. All of the workers at the counter seemed extremely friendly, except for her hostile nature the whole time we were being dealt with. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be coming back. Gym seemed clean, everything you needed, but that first impression just ruined it.

I was looking forward to signing up for a gym membership here because of the availability of child care. However, when I came in there was no one to answer any questions about this service. They also said there were no changing tables available at all in the gym. The stated hours for childcare were also listed on their website to be open until 12 pm today and they were closed by 11:30. It's an add on service so that would be frustrating if you paid monthly for this service and it wasn't available at the times listed. Very disappointing, I was looking forward to joining this gym.
