Everything is broken or not working literally all of the time. 2/4 massage chairs down. The third one the scanner isn't working. Sauna down. Every visit is like this. The extras you pay for, you don't get to use or experience. Half of the machines down. Toilets broken. It's honestly unreal that a fairly new gym is in such disrepair all of the time.

Visa is great. Fantastic classes and instructors. Updating my review of Vasa Federal 11/2025. Dirty and stinky. Fitness classes are rare as they don't replace instructors who leave. Massage chairs are ALWAYS broken. This gym is the ghetto. We are lucky to have toilet paper these days!

I'm a swimmer and I swim here. They open before 6am on weekdays and that's important to me. The showers are operational, and though there are sometimes odors both in and out of the bathroom, most everything works most of the time.
I don't trust the staff to tend to any issues I bring up (it's just as good throwing a penny down a well with attached wish), but obvious things are eventually resolved.
You'll note that I'm only giving 3 starts, but this represents average good. This place could be better, but it's usually not disappointing. I hovered over 4 stars, but asked myself, "What have they done to deserve better than average?" and couldn't come up with much. Overall, I'm glad to have it, and it's probably good enough for you.

I’m not a fan of this location, simply because everything seems to be broken or “out of order” most of the time. My home gym is the one on Church and I don’t experience as much of an issue with broken machines. This seems to be a chronic issue with this location.

Greg was great in Studio Lft. But the massage beds are terrible. Only 2 of 4 working. One of the 2 working I had at 10, the highest, for pressure, and I barely felt anything. The other working one quit after 2 minutes, stating it over heated. Very, very disappointing. Women's showers, hot tub and possibly pool not working. Also disappointing.
Front desk people were friendly.
Jo in Studio Red was absolutely delightful! Encouraging, funny knowledgeable. Made the workout much more fun! Evie in Deep Stretch was incredible. She brought so much more learning to the table, which made for a much deeper stretch. Looks like you have staff, from which I have experienced so far.

I love this Federal location, specifically for the KidCare teachers, who speak Spanish and for the Deep Stretch classes with Evie. Ive taken several Flow/Deep stretch clases and all are great, but Evie is by far my favorite instructor. She takes the time to explain every move/pose & its purpose. You can tell she loves what she does. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a member at this location for about a year. While I disagree with the other reviews about the cleanliness (it’s a gym, not a kitchen - my expectations reflect that), I do agree with the reviews about broken equipment. About half of the mats are torn (not just small tears - some have huge rips down the middle and are essentially unusable), there are always at least a few cardio machines that are broken (some with “broken” signs, some with out), and the hip abductor machine has been broken for months now (I’ve reported it to staff a few times and am told that they’re aware or that you have to jiggle the pin but no one can actually show me how to fix it - I’ve talked to other members who have the same complaint).

All that being said, I do really appreciate the friendliness of the staff and the range of weights available to accommodate all levels of fitness.

I’ve been going to this gym for several years now. It’s get what you pay for, but a little more.

Pros: pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, group workout classes, massage chairs, AND cycle for the middle ground price, plus the floor equipment. $25 is a great deal for all of that. Everyone’s pretty chill, but it does get busy during 4-7pm.

Cons: Parking is tough during the busy hours especially. Some of the group classes get canceled with no notice. A lot of instructors either switched gyms or cut back their classes. Sunday hours are limited.

The pool uses WAYYY TOO MUCH CHLORINE. I like to swim, but considered quitting because it’s so strong. I rinse off after the swim at the gym, wash my suit in cold water, use their swimsuit dryer, followed by two 20 mins showers at home and still smelling of chlorine. Swimsuit and towel reeks after washing.

Also, a machine or amenity is always closed. Usually a massage chair, or one of the water sections or a treadmill. The ceiling in the group fitness center took months to fix.

Some of the communication between managers is muddled. Ex: The pool area was closed, I asked when it’d be fixed, they said they didn’t know. Then another member removed the area closed sign minutes later saying it was fine.

Overall, I’ll keep going for convenience. I have heard that when I cancel my membership, it will be hell to quit, so keep that in mind if you’re not committed to going here.

My vehicle was stolen from this location. The staff was unhelpful and would not give me any of my belongings back until I signed forms releasing them of any responsibility. They would not release the video footage of the theft to the police. They also sent me to collections for trying to cancel my membership early. Apparently not feeling safe was not a valid reason. If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. Corporate never returned calls or emails, just harassed me with robo calls daily for months. An absolutely appalling experience all around.

UPDATE: VASA did send an actual human to "try" to fix this.... 6 months after the initial theft and only after sending me to collections. A truly laughable example of customer care. This attempt to have me remove this negative review came only after a hit to my credit and being forced to pay the collections agency. Keep in mind that I had been trying to reach a PERSON to work through this with for months but only managing to be harassed by robo calls daily. Such a disappointing and appalling experience that continues to waste my time and money so many months later.

Today was my first time taking a FLOW (Yoga) class and Katie was INCREDIBLE!!! She kicked my ass and caused me to feel Amazing! I learned some new Yoga poses. I wish that she taught at the Vasa that I usually go to. Her class was very challenging, but I am up for a challenge.

I look forward to attending another one of her classes when I am in the area again.

I come to VASA when I can, in order to attend Maria's ZUMBA class. If I lived closer It would be a very regular occurrence. She plays great music and her choreography is seamless. No awkward transitions from one move to another. Between these, her great energy and the disco lights, yes, you read that right, her classes feel more like a dance club than exercise. Can't get much better than that. Perhaps I should pack up and move to Westminster.

My sister's truck was stolen out of the parking lot a few months ago and this facility has done absolutely nothing to assist her in this at all. They have footage of the theft and yet they haven't released it and when my sister rightfully requested to cancel her membership they sent her to processing and claims. She can't get a hold of a single human being to talk her through this. She's just being shown the robots. This is a soulless corporation and they do not care about a single human being or their feelings. I urge anyone thinking about gaining a membership here to NOT and seek a membership at a different gym.

Locker rooms are unsecured. Cameras are decorative. Vehicle theft is an issue and management is doing nothing. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

I was in town and had a 3 day trial pass to use at VASA. I was told I couldn’t use it because I don’t live here and that I have to pay for the day pass. I mentioned I have a VASA back where I live and could potentially become a member if I like the place. I asked if I could try it out for a single day instead of 3 days and was flat out told no. I didn’t appreciate how the staff was not accommodating at all. I went out of my way to get the trial pass only to be told I could not use it. This experience has left a bad first impression with VASA for me.

The staff is ok not nearly as friendly as Austin was. The equipment is ok but you guys really need better cleaning! The showers and locker rooms are gross, they smell like mold and sewage. Same with steam room and the hot tub is so nasty foamy I won’t even get in. The massage chairs never work and you are always out of wipes. Come on guys there was literally a cockroach in the men’s changing room today under the bench and someone spilled a drink on that bench like last week and it’s all dried up and was never cleaned.

Almost impossible to get a hold of these people and cancel your "contract" with them. Just so they can hit you with more and more cancellation fees that they had hidden in your contract. Very predatory place, very difficult to reach someone that can help with your issues. Avoid this place at all costs.

I have still not been contacted by VASA. The response to this post is a lie and an effort to save face. Many people are going through the same predatory movement by the management to charge many cancellation fees to your account. Hoping this raises awareness to the issue this location is facing. No Owner, manager or even an employee has contacted me despite me staying on hold with their automated system for hours at a time.

Changing my review because this gym has gotten so much worse. For 2 years now I have complained about how many lockers are broken. It's already a very small locker room, having half the lockers broken is ridiculous. They also no longer have enough clips for all the equipment, so working out safely has become a challenge. When I addressed this issue, it was completely disregarded by the front desk saying they had enough clips but people keep moving them. Common sense should tell them thay if people are moving them around, it's because there's not enough. Nobody takes clips from a different machine if their machine already had clips. I even had to stop showering here because they decided to no longer feel the soap dispensers. The store manager here Jordan is running this place into the ground with his incompetence and overall lack of care. The locker room is always disgustingly filthy when I go in there and has developed a foul odor. None of the other Vasa gyms are this bad and this is one of the newer Vasa gym locations. The Vasa location on Wadsworth and Church Ranch is 100 * cleaner. The staff here is terrible and I'm about to cancel my membership and go back to Chuze or 24 because I'm tired of driving 10 extra minutes to the better location when other brand gyms are closer..

Do not sign up for a membership here. Equipment is always broken, never machines open. Trying to cancel memberships is a headache. Mari and Angel are amazing. I have been coming here now for about 8 months. I am writing this review after leaving a 0-star review 3 years ago.
I started using this gym in January of 2025.
The time of this review is July of 2025.
Angel is the reservationist who provides excellent welcoming and assisting with any issues. He is always kind, friendly, and professional. He has a great sense of humor and a very inspiring young gentleman.
The manager, Mari, is really great at doing her job. If there is a problem, she is calm and collected listening. Really respectful lady and providing great services as manager, customer service, and assistance in case necessary. Mari is the manager who keeps this gym clean and safe place to work out.

I am very grateful to the manager for her professional and respectful demeanor, especially in difficult and problematic situations. Great job!

I used to willingly drive 10 minutes more (even though thornton location is 3 minutes away from me) for their 5:15 or 5:30am RED classes with Matt, but ever since they switched him out, I've stopped going. Not everyone gives off the same energetic vibe and it is very needed for a 5am class 😴
Also shout out to the front desk, dark skin, with headphones because she was ALWAYS a vibe every morning going in and out! I'm not one to conversate so I never got her name.

Faciliy wise, I prefer this location over Thornton but still prefer and recommend the Zuni location more. Also they have the water massagers that are meh.
I now drive a total of extra 30 minutes every other day as it's further than my house and further than my work😮‍💨
The staff and trainers at this location compared to the Zuni location are just okay in comparison. If you can drive the extra time, go to Zuni, I recommend it.

Throughout all gyms, I love taking classes with David for combat/groove/pump, Celine for RED, Beth for RED, Indira for Step, Mauri for Barre/Conditioning, Veronica for pump, and
Matt for RED and Di for Lift (i believe they're gone gone as its been nearly 2 months now that i don't see them)

I like this gym a lot, price is good, the equipment is great, members clean machines when they are done, the vibe is good, the staff is professional. I'm giving a 3 instead of 5 because of machines being down, the dirty co-ed bathroom, the massage chairs don't work 100% of the time. I've been a member since 2021. However, I started really taking my fitness journey seriously about a year ago. I started with their StudioRed classes (HIIT style class), and they are incredible! The coaches (Jo and Greg are my faves) give guidance on form and will give you recommendations on weights if you ask. Then I started personal training 7 months ago and it has changed my life. All of the personal trainers will hype you up. I've worked with two trainers there. My current trainer is Jo'shua and he is amazing! He really listened to my goals and has set up a plan that is perfect for me. Plus he gives me actionables; which I need as a task oriented individual. I have 2 kids and feel stronger and in better health than I did pre-pregnancies!

Additionally the facilities are very clean. Obviously there is regular wear and tear or the padding of equipment, and they actually replace it in a timely fashion (within the week of any tears I've noticed).

This place truly is a great community and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

I've been going to this gym for over 2 years. It's been a great gym overall, plenty of weights and friendly staff. The sauna and basketball courts are a big reason I joined. Unfortunately, one of the basketball rims have been broken for several weeks now. When things break, they seem to be very slow to fix them (machines, basketball hoop etc). If it wasn't for that, I'd give them 5 stars. Management - please fix the basketball rims and make sure high schoolers are constantly climbing the nets and bending / breaking the rims. Aside from that, great value gym with everything you need and not too busy if you can go during the day.

That being said… gym is often too crowded and I spend way more time than I would like waiting for equipment to become available, especially leg machines (machine leg press, hamstring curl machine, leg extension machine) Locker rooms are to be avoided imo, they always smell bad and are super crowded just like the rest of the gym.

Update 5/23/25: Seems like cleanliness has improved, especially in the locker rooms. Trainers have been excellent. Still some issues with broken equipment not being repaired very quickly, and gym still gets very crowded at times.

Many people are very nice, especially in the Studio Red classes and yoga sessions. It truly feels like a great community. But when I started going to this exact gym the workers are always trying to avoid from me going inside. LONG rant** If you don't want to read you can go to to the BBB website there is 479 complaints on this business! Wish I looked more into it before joining. I joined Vasa with a personal trainer in Jan 2025. I signed up for 3 months. In that 3 months, my trainer canceled two sessions on me last minute. Two sessions I still had to pay for. I also was forced to change my training day and time a total of 3 times. In my last month of training, my Personal trainer left the company. When he left I was contacted about a replacement trainer. She however could not fit me in her schedule for Fridays. When I told them I needed a trainer that could work with both of our schedules, I was told they will get back to me and never did. This was 3 weeks ago. Three more training sessions I was not provided but yet still paid for. I called and spoke to a rep with paramount (which is the membership department of VASA) and was told there was nothing I can do about it. Because I was in a contract. So, vasa and paramount do not have to stick to the contract, but yet I do. I asked for a manager and was told that they (the paramount rep) did not have access to transfer me and that the manager wouldn't do anything about it anyway. I expressed and confirmed on that phone call that I will not be continuing my personal training and was told that my last payment would be March 26th. Which was when my contract ended. I also requested my contract and never got it. I was also told by my trainer I would not be charged after March 26th well, I was just charged me again 04/7/25 for personal training. I called and spoke to a manger at VASA Westminster who said they will get back to me and never did. I am now out hundreds of dollars because VASA simply doesn't care at all about their clients. This is one of 4 issues I've had with this VASA location in just 3 months. Go anywhere else.

I’ve been a member of this gym for a while now and I also pay an additional $90 every two weeks for personal training. While the training sessions are great, I’m disappointed that key equipment like the InBody scan machine has been broken for over a month. These tools are really important for tracking my progress especially given the extra amount I’m paying. It’s frustrating to not have access to these features, and there’s been no update on when they’ll be fixed. I really hope “management” addresses this soon so members can fully benefit from what we’re paying for.

I have been coming to this gym for the last two years. Over the past few months, however many people are at the gym at night without an actual membership. The young kids at the desk just let anybody in at this point they don’t stop you. They don’t ask you who you’re with my husband came on a visitors pass, he had his phone ready to show the pass and they told him he could just go in. Not only did we have to stand and wait for machines for the groups of kids that are all just hanging out but people who work during the day and have to work out at night because it is their only available time are totally inconvenienced by the groups of kids just standing around. Your front desk staff, however, are very nice are mostly walking around talking not really asking anybody if they need help or even refilling the wipe stations. Your massage chairs are never in working order. I really liked this gym two years ago when I started, and now it has become a cesspool unfortunately, it’s the closest location to my home or I would switch to another gym. Most recently, while in the sauna, a gentleman decided to take it upon himself to dump his water bottle To try to raise the temperature. Meanwhile, splashing other patrons sitting there with his water bottle which is disgusting by the way when we reported it, the staff member said well people do that all the time unfortunately, there’s nothing we could do about it. At night this place is definitely not run by management.

I have been paying for a membership at this Gym for over 3 years. I just got off the phone trying to cancel my membership (I stopped going because the equipment is frequently broken, and the gym is always insanely crowded). I had to pay $60 to cancel my membership even though my monthly plan only costs $10. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, the customer service rep was one of the most disrespectful people I have ever talked with and when I asked to speak to someone else, she refused.

Its a busy place. You have to wait for Machines. And when you on time limit. It sucks. This is from 4pm- 7pm. The up keep is behind. Water massage chairs are always out of service. They recently changed their member plans. There are no more buddy passes that you pay extra for. If you had them, and upgrade to Premium Red membership, you lose what you had prior, and there is no Buddy pass included, like we were told. They claim you can take two people, only one time in a month. I would have never upgraded. I would have stayed at my much cheaper membership, and paid the buddy pass like I was. Because I was grandfathered in a rate. They claim there were notices sent and posted in the gym. I've never seen either.

Big fan of the other locations of Vasa's in the area but i try and avoid this location at all cost. Weights are never properly put back in place and all the attachments are all spread out on the floor around the cable area. The men's locker room was a mess with the graffiti on the walls and the showers either most of them missing hooks to hang your towels or just straight missing the shower valve, that's not including the ones that are already closed off .

I have posted reviews prior. I will say the staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. For as busy as the club is the gym space is mostly clean and equipment in working order. The locker room restroom area is horrible. See photos - the showers are never not all operational. The toilets too are always dirty with paper rollers broken or empty. There are at least a dozen lockers that have been broken for probably a year. - the fix would take about an hour. Yesterday there were 4 showers out of order and two toilets. The showers have been out of order for almost a month. There is still graffiti on some walls and in many lockers- been over a year for this too

It's huge and has everything I need that a lot of other gyms dont, like a hip thrust machine, a mini-track for lunges and sled pulls, a sauna and a steam room, and a ton of room to stretch and roll out or use free weights. I solely am a member of this gym for the group fitness classes. The price is great for unlimited studio classes. The studio red classes are awesome, they’re a great mix of cardio and strength training and the studio yoga classes are good as well.

I wish I could give Vasa more stars, but the volume of the music they play at studio red is honestly so extra. The music is so loud, it’s really hard to ask clarifying questions about the work outs. My apple watch always alerts me that the volume is loud enough to cause hearing loss, dramatic but true! I also really wish more of the instructors would correct people’s form. There’s only 2 or 3 coaches that will correct form and help explain it more in depth. It’s unfortunate to watch people, especially clear beginners, perform the work outs incorrectly over and over.

She is quick to answer any questions and provides excellent customer service. Kiersten does a fantastic job running the Studio Red HIIT classes. This is the best gym in town Mary and Connor are always friendly and willing to help and answer any questions you might have. They have a lot of classes for all fitness level. Pool water is always nice and warm and the lockers and bathrooms are always clean.
