Have never been greeted when coming in or told to have a good day when leaving this gym which might seem like I’m being stingy but they do this at the Zuni gym everytime and it’s nice. There’s barely any plates to use for bench presses and leg press and several machines feel like they’re on the verge of breaking. Also the men’s locker room is not very well kept. Overall really not a fan of this location, I only come here sometimes because it’s convenient but If I can avoid it I do. This location should take notes from the Zuni location.

A good place to work out. The staff is helpful and personable.

I do have a complaint about the cleanliness of the men's locker room.

-The lockers are filthy. At times they are littered with q-tips, toilet paper, and wipes,

- The showers are filthy too. There is a black, powdery substance (black mold?) In the grout. Often there are flies. Also, often shampoo bottles, band aids, hair, etc. are left behind.

Can you get a workout done here? Yes, sure. But between multiple broken machines, unfilled sanitation wipe stations, piles of trash in the garbage bins, I didn't feel comfortable even paying $20 for this. I'd happily pay double the price just to get these basic things covered. Without it, everything just feels gross and I can't justify giving money to this business, which is a shame because it is a great space.

I've been attending this vasa fitness location since its opening and I have to say the quality and demonstration of care has been in a slow decline ever since the doors opened. There's been equipment and other amenities broken for over a month, the cleanliness and wipes never seem to be restocked, and attachments in the cable/free weight areas go missing.
On a positive note, the other gym goers are, mostly, nice and the environment isn't intimidating. I've met really cool people at this gym, and they too have even made remarks of leaving based on previously mention flaws.
I'm still attending this vasa location, but please fix what needs to be fixed, please.

Very unhelpful staff Brian tried to kick me out and only stopped once i scanned my membership for the 3rd time. I had to go back to get my stuff so they escorted me to the court and made me scan my membership one more time just to make sure i was member . I came to vasa to play basketball with my friends and kicked us out for "loitering" after sitting in the couch area after trying to buy passes. Once we all had passes Brian told us we had to leave .

The trash has been there outside for a week—others say longer. I just joined and ppl are saying that the sauna is always broken. I should have been told this before I joined. Also there are benches that need replaced that are tearing and have no traction. I hope it improves since I just joined recently. Fingers crossed because I like the layout and equipment.

Been coming to this Vasa since the very beginning and it just keeps getting better.

Management FINALLY got the screaming lady in Studio Red and Group fitness to stop shrieking out her obnoxious cries, which previously could be heard across the gym through Bose noise canceling headphones.

The showers are generally clean.

AND…drum roll…they finally changed the same rap station that had been on for 3 years!!!!!

I became a studio red member when vasa built the infrared yoga studio, and I am really enjoying the classes! I love all the flow classes, but I started taking the deep stretch classes when that time frame worked out with my schedule.
Evie‘s deep stretch classes address every body part, Taking time to floss the soft tissue as well as hold different poses for a deeper stretch. I really appreciate the flossing because it addresses the fascia, Which unfortunately does not get addressed with most classes. Facia covers every single body part, including the bones, the organs, as well as the muscles And is an often overlooked part of the body. Yet it is a whole body system. Evie ensures that this system gets addressed whether it’s her deep stretch classes or in her flow classes.
I love how her classes flow from one body part to the next, and I leave feeling like every area has been addressed. Overall, I am really, really pleased with Vasa’s yoga classes, And I have been very pleased with the instructors that teach for Vasa.
While I have only done the infrared yoga, studio red classes, and I’ve not tried the other studio red classes, I cannot say enough, good things about Vasa. It’s a great gym that really provides well for its members.

Joined VASA for a month — machines kept breaking, the place felt stuck in 2005, and cleanliness wasn’t great. When I canceled, they hit me with an “annual maintenance” fee and another month of charges. My $60 gym trial turned into $129 to leave. Guess the only thing getting a real workout here is their billing department.

I come in Monday morning to only use the sauna . . . . .IT'S BROKE!! I guess I gotta just call everyday if I plan on using the sauna

The sauna has been broken for over a week. There’s trash collecting outside. Who is responsible for this? This is what happens when your only concern is generating new business and when the staff is a constant revolving door. I would never recommend this gym to anyone anymore which is sad because they have a decent workout space but this is totally unacceptable.

Been trying to cancel my membership for over 2 months, sent in the request online and still being charged. Emailed vasa no response. Filled out online form again and the system stated I can’t cancel and have to email. Super predatory. Go to another gym even if it’s more expensive, at least they won’t give you the run around when you attempt to cancel. Worst gym customer service I’ve experienced in my life.

While the gym itself is fine, we’ve had a terrible experience with the personal training. We signed my SO up for a three month personal training course and three of her trainers quit during that time. The last trainer went on leave for an undetermined amount of time and the gym has not scheduled any more sessions, while continuing to charge us for sessions. The gym/trainer has been unable to schedule the sessions after several months. The gym also refuses to refund us for the unused sessions totaling over 500$. The gym tells us to contact another support line, which says they aren’t able to do anything about it. Terrible way to do business.

I’m giving them 2 starts because I haven’t had any issues with the gym itself/equipment. When I go it’s pretty clean, they have a lot of machines and they are clean. Also the staff has been great and helpful. The only issue I have is with the personal training program. I signed up for the 3 month training. Within those 3 months I’ve had 3 different trainers! The first trainer was only there for 3 of my sessions and then he quit, my second trainer was there for almost 2 months and then she quit and my third trainer has been great, unfortunately she had to cancel some of our sessions because of something came up for her and I was told I was going to get contacted by Yaya so they can find a different trainer to take over while my trainer is gone. I was never contacted, my last session was about a month ago and still no word from them. It’s very disappointing because this was my first personal training experience and having to change up the routine I had with a trainer it’s annoying, also for the money I’m paying is not worth it and we can’t get a refund for the last month of the missing sessions. I’m definitely not going to sign up for their program again in the future. So if you are thinking of signing up for the personal training program I would look somewhere else! It seems like their trainers don’t stay there long.

This is the best gym I have ever been to! When you walk in, you are always welcomed. It's clean and they keep their machines well maintained. There are a variety of classes for whatever you are interested in and the trainers are the best. Special shootout, to my trainer Grace McCool! Literally the best trainer in the gym: I LOVE my workouts with her. She listens and answers questions. She educates me on proper technique and modifications. She cheers me on and truly cares. Nothing works!!!Very disappointment about VASA clubs the 3 clubs that I use they have the steam room out of order at the same time!!!! Unacceptable!!!!they never have Soap in the man’s shower!!! I mentioned this to the kids at front and BRIAN the new Manager .and 3 out 5 days there is no soap ! There’s to many issues at Thornton club,Westminster club and federal club!!!!!3 clubs 3 steam room and they are broken at the same time ALWAYS !!! very frustrating situation, this is a joke!!!!and it takes forever to fix it.And the cleaning at the restrooms and steam room is very poor nobody clean it up. They raised the prices. They removed the option to add a guest pass to the intermediate plans. Despite these inconveniences the gym is still super busy, with no new positive additions. There are always things broken like machines and the water fountains. If it wasn’t for the convenience of the location I would not get a membership to this gym.

Awful staff, including the manager.

After years of being a loyal member of this gym, I had the most disappointing experience when I brought my mom, who is visiting from abroad, to try it out as a guest. They REFUSED to allow her entry simply because she did not have an American phone number!

This policy makes it clear: this is NOT a tourist-friendly gym. But what made it even worse was the ARROGANT ATTITUDE and complete lack of customer service shown by the staff and MANAGER. They showed no empathy, no willingness to offer any solution, and NO RESPECT for us as guests or long-time members.

I even offered to pay for a day pass, but they still denied her entry without any flexibility or courtesy. We had no choice but to leave — humiliated and frustrated.

It’s truly sad and disrespectful. After years of loyalty, this experience has made it clear that it’s time to find a new gym, one that actually values its members and treats their guests with basic decency.

UPDATE SEPT 10/24: I would like to thank the management staff of this location for taking action on not only my concerns as mentioned below, but others as well. They have done a FANTASTIC JOB on improving this concern and it has not gone unnoticed. I have changed the rating and making this note so that they know we appreciate your attention to this. THANK YOU.

Once again, after many months later and after speaking to management directly, they still can’t get it that cleanliness is upmost important. I did however see a gal wiping equipment “once” and I told her I appreciated it and her doing it and she even said it was nasty. Good for her.
However, I guarantee they have not been wiped since. These photos are one (1) elliptical machine. As a previous restaurant owner we had a saying “any spare time warrants rag in hand”. I count 7 staff standing around. Sorry!

I recently joined with a studio membership and I’m not as happy as I could be. Every time I go, the pool is packed and I find myself waiting for a lane (even midday on a Monday). You can smell the chlorine most of the time, today was bearable and it looks like they have some kickback of sand from their filter. Being a former aquatics director I’m a little more aware of the chemicals in the water. The steam room is nice but sometimes a bit dirty and I’ve never seen anyone ever cleaning in the pool/steam room/hot tub area nor the locker rooms. The showers can be pretty gross sometimes, I’ve found bandaids and lots of hair clumps and there’s one shower where the drain doesn’t work well, so it just floods the shower area. I can never get a massage chair and people continuously just rescan to keep using them. So far I don’t feel I’m getting the use out of my membership, planet was better and more convenient at least I was always able to get a tanning room and massage bed. Perhaps once I try a class I will feel better about my membership choice, but right now it’s just too busy ALL THE TIME.

Was really exited to work out here, signed up through my work, had all the paperwork and ID number and confirmations. Went in today and was told I had to wait 5-7 days for corporate to process my account and had to sign up again on their website. I started this process in March, waited until it was active in April and now have to wait another week?! The staff wasn’t helpful or friendly, I don’t recommend coming here if you want it use your work gym membership

The gym has gone downhill!!! When you talk to management or other workers about broken machines, dirty machines, dirty dust bunny infested floors, nasty green fake grass area needing cleaned they get defensive.
The only thing I see workers do is go around and look to see if wipes are available for cleaning.
The ceiling gets big leaks and they never get them truly fixed. Whoever they have cleaning this place does not do good at all. Hope they get things figured out. If not I won’t keep my membership!

Awful Management. The manager refused to let us use our trial passes.
Today Friday march 28th at around 10, there’s a manager (I assume because he was wearing a black T-shirt instead of a red one) who was very argumentative and asking tricky questions to deny us access to the gym. I included the exact day and time so you can look him up if you really care about your customers satisfaction.
We signed up online for a free trial for my parents and he said it’s only for people who intended to become a member. There’s nothing online suggesting that we have to want to become a member to use the trial pass. NOTHING!!! He said it’s their policy. Since when? How are we going to know if we like the gym enough to become a member if he didn’t even let us try.
I have brought people here before without anyone ever asking me anything like that so the only explanation I can think of to make sense of his behavior was because we’re Asian. That’s how I feel.
After reading other reviews about this gym showing “right-wing propaganda” on the TVs, I think my intuition was right.
My husband and I will cancel our memberships.

I've been a member at Vasa for a few months now and have had the opportunity to take many classes. Where to start, I guess at RED, try it! All the coaches are super and for people like me who just can't get the move from the screen, they are always over there to take the 1on1 time with me. Shout out to Pippa, Jacob and Solo. If you want to do some low impact in the water, check out Jordan's class, she has awesome music and high energy. Jo crushes in flow and is such a fun person, her teaching style is all inclusive. Give the gym a try, the classes are a nice source of community and all the coaches/instructors I've meet have been really uplifting and kind. The morning "welcome in" and "have a nice day" makes me feel like a person rather then a number too.

The gym is always clean and organized. I really love being a Studio member and accessing the Studio Red (HIIT) and Studio Flow (yoga) classes that are offered here. The coaches are kind, encouraging, and always make class fun!

The total cost for this "premium" membership (Studio) is only $40. I get access to all classes, massages, tanning, sauna, pool, weights, and cardio. I searched for a while and similar gyms/offerings were going to run me $180-250 a month. Crazy value here!

I especially love taking classes with Coach Pippa, Coach Solo, and Coach Alex. Their music selections are always pumping and fun. They offer support throughout the class. And, they're just overall great people.

I can't recommend this gym enough! There are closer locations to where I live (this one is closer to my office), but I can't picture going anywhere else. I love my VASA!

You're not free from bullying/harassment/intimidation in this club. And there is no way to report anything to anyone outside the new club manager, Bryan, who says he'll pass it on. But when he's part of the problem do you think he'll pass it on?

You can use the number on the website or chat but they will tell you there is no manager available and they'll "pass it on". No one answers on social media.

They knowingly allow members with this behavior and lecture you on "gym etiquette" like it's your fault. There is video. And a witness who stepped up.

According to Bryan, the manager, gym etiquette is to share machines between sets with someone who is harassing you and being a creep.

Website is useless. Social media is useless. There is no way to get in touch with anyone.

I tried to give them a chance to make it right, but they gave the guy with a KNOWN HISTORY 90 days suspension. And Bryan doubled down on his response to me.

So here we are. If I could give 0 stars I would.

And while we are doubling down, I'll double down on the other recent reviews about broken equipment and a sauna that has been broken for WEEKS. 3+ treadmills, 2 stair steppers....

The only thing that kept me there was the friendships I'd formed.

love Vasa and so many great classes to choose from. Solo, Mutiara, Suzanne, and Danielle are top notch instructors and I always enjoy working out with them. Pippa is a wonderful fitness director. I was excited about the Flow Studio opening and the deep stretch class I attended with ReEnna was great. She is an excellent instructor!
However, the basketballs bouncing against the back wall were horrible. I am really surprised that this goes on. I can't imagine recommending the Studio membership to anyone for this reason. Also, since we are paying extra for a "boutique" yoga experience, could people not come into the studio slamming their mats down and talking loudly? Phones beeping during the class? This kind of thing does not happen at the other Vasa location I attend yoga classes at.

The sauna has been out of service for about a month and that was one of the main reasons I signed up for the higher tier membership. Please fix it! I find this timeline to be unacceptable and the sign just says “TBD”. All of the drains for the showers in the women’s locker rooms need to be snaked or something because they pool with water immediately. It causes standing water to build up. Theres a small pool of permanent standing water which is concerning.

I got a 1-day free pass to try this location, but the front desk associate said I’d have to pay since I was a member at a different location years ago. I did not see this anywhere on the website or FAQs. Please update the website or disclaimers. Wasted trip. Inconsistent Amenities & Poor Facilities Management at Church Ranch VASA

The sauna and steam room, which are advertised as being available “until close,” are frequently shut off hours before the gym closes.

The Sauna

On weekdays, the gym closes at midnight, yet the sauna is consistently turned off around 8 or 9 PM. This means that by 9:30, the temperature has already dropped below 140°F, and by 11 PM, it’s barely above 100°F—far from the expected 180-190°F. This is NOT an issue at other VASA locations, which tells us it’s a facilities management problem specific to Church Ranch, not a corporate policy.

If this is a cost-saving measure, it should be clearly stated on the website and in contracts. Right now, members are paying for a service that isn’t being delivered. Many people work late on weekdays and don’t arrive until 10 PM, only to find the sauna already cold. People chose VASA because the hours work with their schedule, come to find out this location is not disclosing its true amenities hours.

Neglect & Poor Repairs

A few months ago, the sauna was shut down for nearly a month for “repairs”. We were told they were fixing the door handle that had fallen off (likely because eveyone has to pull the door shut because it doesn’t shut correctly). So in a month they installed a tiny metal bathroom stall handle that broke within two days. The original thick wooden handle was still on the floor inside the sauna, but it took weeks AFTER they reopened the sauna for them to actually put the proper handle back on. If they were able to fix the handle overnight why was the sauna closed for weeks. The only noticeable change was a single plank of wood being replaced. The rest of the rotting, blackened wood was glued together and left as is, instead of fixing the actual issues. The sauna is now closed again for “repairs to the wood” which could’ve been avoided had they done that when they had it closed for a month. Proactive, preventative maintenance measures like routine amenities checks should be in place, so they don’t let things don’t get bad enough and a board snaps in half while someone’s standing on it (which happened).

If VASA is concerned about energy costs, the real issue is the broken door and seal, which leaks heat and forces the sauna to work harder to stay hot. Fixing this would save more energy than shutting the sauna off early.

The Steam Room

The steam room is completely unreliable. Some nights it’s fully functional, other nights it’s bone dry. Staff are just as confused as members. There have been times when I’ve driven 30 minutes to my gym specifically for the sauna, found it closed for repairs or off, and thought, “At least I can use the steam room”—only to find it off as well. No note, nothing they’re fixing, just off at like 7pm. Whereas the previous week they were on at 7pm. Front desk staff have even told me “It should be on, it was working earlier today, I think it’s on a timer”.

Lack of Accountability

The front desk staff aren’t at fault, as they don’t have the authority to turn the amenities back on or make repairs. However, they also have no real answers, which shows a lack of communication between management and employees. If they can’t control the amenities, then facilities management needs to be more responsive or on-site more often. Or consider the possibility of training staff on-site to be able to turn the amities back on, when they’re randomly off at 7pm.

If the sauna is supposed to stay on until close, then it should. If there’s a policy change, members should be notified. And if the steam room is truly “on a timer,” then why is it so inconsistent?

This is not an issue at other VASA locations, which proves it’s a management problem unique to Church Ranch. It’s been a year, we’ve tried talking to staff, nothings changed: Until something changes, I can’t justify more than a 1-star review. Members deserve transparency, consistency, and functioning amenities—not broken doors, glued-on wood, and excuses.

Very bad management job. I have a subscription to a personal trainer twice a week, but when I had a freeze, they changed my trainer and didn’t even warn me. The trainer works poorly, they do not schedule personal training and all training is random. I had financial difficulties and I simply asked the manager if I could terminate the contract earlier. She replied that I can, but I need to freeze the contract first, and then come back in a month and terminate it.A month later I came and she said that she couldn’t do that and because I didn’t speak English well there was a misunderstanding. But that's not true. Then she promised to help me and call me back. After that she stopped communicating. I came twice more, and they told me that she was very busy and would call back. But this did not happen and I wrote to support. They didn’t help me there either, but the manager wrote to me with an offer to continue paying for the training. But because of her, I lost time and have already redistributed my finances. It's her mistake. I can pay, but such terrible attitude towards customers is very bad! I just want to pay and not take any more training and cancel my membership, because due to the stupidity of the manager I won’t be able to go to the gym, I could do this before, but now I don’t have that opportunity. I never advise anyone to contact VASA! They are not interested in development and working with clients and do not hire conscientious managers who respect their work and the work of the one who opened this business!
Р.S. Nothing has changed! Every new manager makes promises just to not solve my problem. They say to write to the support service, the support service also can not do anything and rarely responds. I ended up in the hospital, had two operations, brought and showed them the documents, they temporarily froze my contract and promised to help resell it, but I think they did not even try! In the end, they withdrew money from the card again, they promised to call me, they never called. I made an appointment with the manager, they promised to allocate one hour and solve my problem, but when I came, the manager again did not solve anything and help me, I asked him to call, since I have a language barrier, but he stopped listening to me and began to point his hand at the door and kick me out! At the same time, I did not cry and was calm! And this is on the condition that they charge a fee for a year, a month and a contract. That is, they take money from me, refuse to help, do not say how many paid hours I have, do not want to find a trainer for me and kick me out, humiliating me! When I got home, my blood pressure went up and I had severe headaches. VASA is the worst place! They don't take you into account and humiliate your dignity! They will never listen to you and will only target your wallet! This is a team of thieves, if you sign a contract and you have health problems, they will still not meet you halfway and will take money from you not only for the contract, but also for membership! If you want to get into the slavery, VASA will help you make your life hell!

The actual gym is clean and an overall an enjoyable experience, that is until you try to cancel your membership. Upon attempting to cancel my account over the course of several months I still received charges. The customer service is lacking as I waited nearly 20 minutes when I was connected to a man who hung up on me after a very brief and unhelpful conversation, not answering any of my questions. I then attempted to text the line and only received a response after 3 hours, but they were no longer available when I saw the text after 3 minutes. I called one more time, waited for 10 minutes, and was connected to a woman who told me the system had no earlier record of an attempted cancel. This experience has cost me a lot of time and money. If you are planning to join VASA please be aware of what you’re getting into.

I have been going to this gym for the last four years and I have nothing but praise to sing for the staff here. They are welcoming, kind, and helpful. Ava, America, Calvin, and yaya all go out of their way to make this gym special. Yaya’s health consultation/personal training set me up with an amazing base for my current weight loss journey. You will frequently see America, Calvin, and Ava walking around cleaning up and making sure the front desk is still covered. The warehouse itself is under repairs but the staff do a great job keeping as much open as possible for use while fixing the building. Not to mention the prices are so low for a base membership. I have taken a couple classes here and they are all amazing instructors, very welcoming and fun. I might be biased but I have also been to every gym in the area and nothing beats this vasa.

The kidcare at this location is high quality. Kelly has done so much to make an engaging, exciting, and enriching environment for my toddler! All of the kidcare staff is wonderful, and there are always fun activities, from a little library and kindness challenges, to super hero checklists and gratitude trees. There is always something new! The one thing I wish is that they would get more funding. There used to be a big play structure there and it was taken out when it broke. It would be nice to have some climbing structures again for more active play!

I love that I can focus on my workout because I know my little guy is safe and well cared for. The kidcare here is the reason I don’t want to work out anywhere else!

Tried a one-day pass and deciding if it’s worth the membership. The biggest drawback is the amount of water damage and mold. For mold sensitive and CIRS patients, this is not a safe building. It is a health hazard for everyone but especially that population. The goal of working out is to be healthy but if you are breathing in such a high toxic load, it’s very counterintuitive. Is management doing anything to address these issues because per previous reviews, it does not appear so.

The gym is great, relatively clean, and not so busy. It's disappointing that the steam room and sauna are being programmed to turn off earlier and earlier. Is management trying to save on the electric bill? It's really not worth even trying to sauna or steam room after 10:30. Soon enough, they'll have it off at 8pm... Really disappointing considering this is the only vasa with a sauna even worth going to.

I've been going to vasa for about 7 years and will most definitely be canceling my membership due to the phase out if their spin/cycle classes. News flash. Not everyone wants to do studio red workouts and not everyone can afford to pay out the ass for a fancy private cycle studio. Way to ruin My 5 year workout routine vasa. You suck.

The gym is very well equipped, lots of free weights and machines, as well as a pool. What's most impressive, though, is the service that the team will give you. They are amazing!

Find a different gym membership. Canceling is a nightmare. We are relocating out of state no Vasa gyms available. They charged me a membership fee that comes due next month for the entire coming year because it landed in their 30 day cancellation time frame. Unethical!

They have been charging me for a membership I canceled over 2 years ago, I’ve spoken to them several times, I was told each time they couldnt find an account under my name. And they charge it through my account number not my card. Don’t waste time with vasa, I’ve spent months with my bank trying to cancle and stop those transactions
