I started training with Stef after I had my first child. I had terrible SI joint pain during my pregnancy and was determined to find and address the root cause through training. Stef helped me recover from my first pregnancy/birth, rebuild my strength, and trained me throughout my second pregnancy. I worked out with Stef up through my ninth month and felt stronger than ever. Stef then helped me rebuild my strength after a c-section. She is so knowledgable about women's health and is always able to adapt my training to what I need in the moment. If I come in and something is off in my body, she figures out the root cause. She helped me drastically improve plantar fasciitis that 2 podiatrists and a PT couldn't resolve! I've had the opportunity to work out with other trainers and I always get my butt kicked in the best way. The whole Vitality team is great and I'm glad I found them!

There is nothing quite like a personal trainer to help maximize and sustain physical and mental fitness.
I spent several years working out on machines with a nationally known chain who had small fitness studios. Without machines that fit my size (smaller than average), or trainers who could focus on my form, I managed to injure my shoulder and my knee.
I usually have had two different trainers at Vitality, and I enjoy the variation of approach. There so many good trainers here, if you need to make a change in time or day, it is easy to do so. One trainer I have worked with for several years is Ross. He is always cheerful and positive, which always makes a workout seem to fly by. He encourages me to up my game, while keeping in mind that I’m not a spring chicken anymore. If I tell him I need muscles for gardening or shoveling snow, he’ll try to figure out something to accommodate!

Ross V has been most helpful in showing me new exercises and encouraging me to work out. He handles my limitations with ease. I am over 80 years old so there is a fine line between what will challenege me and what will hurt me. He communicates frequently during the exercises so I know what to expect, and he gives tips on the best ways to do them.

I spent the last few years working with Jacob to get stronger after dealing with Chronic pain for years. He was incredibly patient, always modifying exercises based off my needs, and very knowledgeable on different ways to strengthen each muscle group. 3.5 years ago, I was referred to Stef by a cycling coach who said she could improve my cycling strength and endurance for that year’s Triple Bypass race. It checked the box for what I was looking for. When I met with Stef, she put together a strength and nutrition plan specifically for my goal to feel good training for and during the race. I still use that nutrition plan now because it helped lose some weight, but more importantly helped me to feel good. I have worked out on my own for 30+ years doing basic strength exercises, but the variety Stef provides has opened my mind up, showing me a different way to exercise that I don’t think I would have discovered on my own. After finishing my race, we switched towards strengthening for hiking and daily life activities, as well as improving my overall cardiovascular. So many exercises have improved my balance and flexibility, which I’ve discovered I need in order to age gracefully. I always ask a lot of questions “why am I doing this, what am I working, am I doing it right” and Stef has been knowledgeable and patient answering all of it. Anyone who works out but doesn’t seem to be getting the results they are looking for, you should consider contacting Stef and the trainers at Vitality. You may know a lot about exercise and strength training, but there are different ways of learning. Working out at Vitality has opened my eyes to movements that work best for me, that supports my love of cycling, hiking and life injury free.

I had my first baby and was working out on the Peloton and lost some baby weight but still felt like a bloated water buffalo in heat when I called Stef. I did a Google search of personal trainers in my area, and saw it as a sign from God that Vitality was close by and they worked with postpartum women. In my 3 years working at Vitality, I learned how to workout and lift weights. I am stronger and feel more confident. I love the small gym community and that I am doing exercises I wouldn't normally do - like boxing, running a Vitality sponsored 5K, and plyometrics. I also got pregnant and had my second child all while working with Stef. I felt so much stronger and better overall throughout that pregnancy and newly postpartum. I wish I had discovered Stef before I was pregnant with my first born, so I had felt that way and perhaps not have gained as much weight. Today, I am way stronger, all around more fit and aware, and now fitness is a part of my lifestyle thanks to Stef. 10/10 recommend! Join the gym and come be my gym friend!

I can be completely myself when I show up to train, no matter what that means on any given day- tired, happy, stressed. Vitality is an amazing personal training studio and it has great group fitness classes. The trainers are attentive and knowledgeable and will curate programming and workouts specific to you and your goals. If you have any limitations or injuries, they will always work with you to find an effective but safe way to work out. For me, I initially visited Vitality for their emphasis on women's health. I joined when I was pregnant - Stef and Ryann are experts in working with women and specifically with prenatal and postpartum phases. It was a non-intimidating way to come and get some movement in no matter how I was feeling. After having the baby, they helped guide and pace me back into a fitness routine that has been sustainable for continued strength and improvement. MAJOR BONUS - YOU CAN BRING YOUR KIDS TO CERTAIN CLASSES!! Anyone you meet here is super nice and welcoming. The trainers are accommodating, understanding and motivating. I would recommend Vitality to anyone in any phase of life and any fitness level - there is truly something for everyone!

I’ve been at Vitality for the last 6 months, and it’s been a game changing experience. I decided to try personal training after too many injuries in CrossFit drove me to make a change. My trainer Michael keeps me accountable, he makes sure that I steadily progress in a controlled way, and he tracks and adjusts to ensure I don’t plateau or get bored of all the same exercises. He gives professional advice, and always has expert answers to all my random questions. It’s been a great learning experience along with seeing a major change in my weight loss and muscle gains. I started personal training at Vitality with Jacob 6 months ago. Jacob is a great trainer! I’ve really appreciated how he’s listened to my goals and helped push me toward gains in a supportive way. This weekend, my husband and I just did the most challenging hike I’ve ever done - 2 miles and a 1500 ft elevation gain on the way up (then back down). I couldn’t have done this a year ago. I can tell the cardio work and calf strengthening Jacob has introduced made a HUGE difference. My trainer is fun, well organized and methodical. She comes prepared for each session with lower body workouts one session and upper body the next. After having my first child, I was looking for a place to help me get in shape and I am so glad I chose Vitality Training Studio. Not only did I gain abs for the first time in my life, but I gained a great community of people (trainers and clients) who are genuinely interested in supporting you. Whether you do personal training or the small group classes, the trainers do a great job at personalizing the workout to meet your skill level and help you meet your goals. They also do a great job at keeping the work outs fun and interesting. In the almost two years I have been going here I have never done the same workout twice! Now with baby #2 on the way they have helped motivate me to stay active and have done a great job modifying the workouts so that I feel comfortable and safe. I would also highly recommend their nutrition program “28 Day Kick Start.” They provide yummy recipes and help you understand what amount of food you should actually be eating in a day, instead of just telling you to avoid certain foods.

I have been at Vitality and Trained by Stef for more than two years, and was working out with Stef when she bought the Vitality Studio in Littleton. It is in the Columbine neighborhood on Bowles near Tony’s Market, Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I actually like to exercise once I get going, but motivation to get there has always been a challenge with a busy work schedule! I arrive, change my clothes, and Stef does the thinking for me! There is always a new routine! She keeps track of my workouts on her iPad. I have gained a lot of strength in 2 years. My definition in my muscles is so much better, better arms, better legs, better abs! Still working on the bootie! With Stef, she provides a free consultation so she can find out what your own goals are! She will put you through a mini workout to see where you can improve.
Last spring, I tried a meal plan that is sponsored nationally that Stef is a huge fan of! It typically runs one month four times per year. It’s my third time joining with Facebook support, a guidebook, and insanely delicious recipes! I’ve lost more than 20lbs, my skiing has improved, my husband thinks I look great, and he is very supportive....he isn’t on the diet, but he loves everything I make.
I haven’t tried a group class at Vitality, but it is a goal this year! There’s
something for everyone...give Stef a call!
Also, she works on your schedule, and there is plenty of parking. I rarely cancel, but she is understanding! Also, when I am going to be out of town, we just adjust the schedule.

I needed help overcoming age related health issues so that i could reduce and eventually become pain free every day. Vitality Training was just what I was looking for. I had always been a big gym person and could always get motivated to work out, but with life, things change. The small intimate space helps me focus and provides the personal attention I need. Stef (the owner) is both an incredible person and trainer! Last year I stumbled upon the PBY gym and it has been a truly transformative experience. 9 months later I'm 50 lbs lighter and stronger than I've been in over a decade. The results far exceeded what I hoped to achieve and the investment in personal 1x1 training was essential to getting me where I am. I instantly loved Amy, the owner, from our first conversation. She was so knowledgable and supportive and understood exactly what I was looking for. Amy matched me with trainer Alicia Guerra who is a complete gem- I learned so much about myself from working with her, mainly that I'd never pushed myself hard enough in the gym to see the results I wanted and how critical it is to have accountability. The studio is a great space. It has everything you could need or want. I never did the same workout twice. The variety was an unexpected bonus and really helped keep me motivated. I also participated in PBY's Balanced Habits 30 day challenge. When I'd hit a plateau at 6 months both Amy and Alicia encouraged me to give it a try and it was exactly what I needed to keep moving the needle towards my goal. As someone who considers themselves nutritionally savvy, I was both humbled and delighted to find myself uncovering habits that were really impacting my progress. I started attending a small group training when the studio first opened up. I love it! I can't stop going. I only do 30 mins 3 times a week-anyone can do 30 mins, right? When I first started, Amy did a thorough assessment along with measurements. That was really helpful because I could see how much I’ve changed. I needed to lose some weight, but I’ve lost over 10” and I totally didn’t expect that. They personalize the training to you and your abilities. All of the trainers are great. I have also attended bootcamps where Zan, Kristen, and Jeremy have all been the instructors. It's always a great workout and they push you to do your best. I would highly recommend Powered by You Training Studio and the bootcamps to anyone. They will help you create realistic goals and help you meet your goals.

After reading an article about the Powered By You Studio I drove by there and found the owner Amy Abraham, explained my situation, and she asked Zan Brazil, a Certified Personal Trainer who specializes in working with senior citizens and people who have physical limitations, injuries or other body challenges to work with me. A thorough assessment was completed, and I obtained a release from my physician. After my first two weeks (6 work-outs) working with Zan Brazil and I was totally stunned at what had happened to me! Now, in addition to the work-outs with Zan at the studio, I am breathing better, climb stairs more easily, can garden with my wife and have been taking 1 to 3 hour hikes even at higher altitudes!
