I've had the pleasure of working with Andrew at Vortex Performance for the past year, and it has truly transformed my relationship with movement and strength training. Andrew is not only an expert in biomechanics and injury rehabilitation and prevention, he also has an intuitive ability to understand what the body needs to heal and train without overdoing it.

He brings a rare combination of unique physica trainingl expertise and highly attuned energy work, making every session feel purposeful, supportive, and even healing. His knowledge and hands on applocation of PRP and neurological recovery adds a powerful layer to his work. His care and presence make the whole experience one of true transformation.

Working with Andrew has been a game changer. He’s gifted, grounded, and an absolute joy to train with. I can’t recommend Vortex Performance highly enough.
Thanks for everything Andrew.

Training at Vortx Performance with Andrew has been an incredible experience. His unique approach to muscle firing and activation is something you don’t find at most gyms — it makes a huge difference in both performance and recovery. The equipment he uses is top-notch, and it’s clear that Andrew’s knowledge and attention to detail are on another level. It’s rare to find a HYROX-certified gym, and having access to his HYROX workouts has been a game-changer for my training. I would highly recommend Vortx Performance to anyone in the area looking to seriously level up their fitness!

Andrew has been a tremendous asset in my quest to run again. I dislocated a knee 14 years ago and have had pain and instability since, despite every medical modality imaginable to address it. Andrew said he believed he could help, and within 4 visits my pain was gone. Within 8 visits, he had me running again. He's friendly and warm and his dog makes visits extra inviting and stress free. I can't recommend him enough.

I had a TON of pain around my scapula/rhomboid muscles and went to Andrew when nothing else worked (tried PT, massage, acupuncture, etc). I saw him four times, and since then I’ve been able to go back to strength training without any pain! I’m excited to continue with my hobbies (like climbing!) again and start swim training for my triathlon next year. :)

Andrew is an absolute fanatic! A fountain of knowledge, as well as honest experience over his studies & career!
He is absolutely someone you want to work with & has helped coached me in my early 30’s with the guidance of certain workouts and practices that will massively improve the longevity & strength of my spine & body!
Thank you Andrew!

I recently had shoulder surgery and I didn’t really feel like my phyiso exercises were helping me get back to sport. I started seeing Andrew and we started working on functional movement and he helped me to understand where and why I was feeling pain. He did massage work and gave me exercises to help correct this. I don’t think I’ll ever pay for a physiotherapist again.. Andrew provides way more value.

My bicep hurt a lot. The pain radiated into my elbow and forearm. I could barely pick up a dumbbell. Andrew worked on me for an hour and my bicep feels much better. No more pain in my elbow or forearm either. Thank you Andrew!

Andrew is a multidimensional performance pro! I'm super grateful to have found him. I view injuries, pain, etc as my body trying to get my attention. So when a knee, hip and wrist issue crept up, I scheduled a session with him and not only did he address the physical aspects of the issue, he worked into the psycho-emotional realm too, addressing the underlying causes. I can already feel everything shifting into greater alignment and feel more energy moving through my body.

His space is very convenient to access and has such a great vibe. And I love how his pup Kacey holds it down during the session. Andrew is such a rare gem!

I am a former athlete and Nurse Practitioner who takes pretty good care of her body. However, there have been some plateaus that my body could not seem to get past.

After just one session with Andrew with his techniques and RPR, I have a notable difference in how my body feels and is carrying itself. After the session I also felt extremely energized as the tension and “holding patterns” that were released were substantial. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a super effective approach to improve your athletic performance or just how you feel in your body!

Wow. I had a session with Andrew and did not expect to get results this quickly. I deal with ac joint arthritis from a shoulder injury.
I've been training for biking, but have been avoiding overhead movements and limited shoulder rotation.
He initially observed certain movements followed by body work. I've had this worked on before, but this was different. Afterwards, I immediately had improved rotation and pain. I can't recommend Andrew enough!

Andrew is a wizard! Super experienced, professional, and effective. The combination of Andrew's functional and sustainable training approach COMBINED with the nuance of body and energy work to massage and open up any tight spots truly sets this practice apart. You'll leave re-charged, relaxed, refreshed, and reinvigorated. It's a 5 in 1 spot!

After only one session, I could clearly see how my form while training has been creating the same old injuries over-and-over again. Andrew has such great bio-mechanical vision and is so precise in his instructions, anyone can follow his program — and say "goodbye" to a lot of aches and pains.

Andrew was so awesome! He did such an amazing job of explaining his modality, and tuning into what would be the best treatment for me. I felt very comfortable during the session and left feeling great. The days and weeks afterwards I’ve had lots of clarity and focused energy.

Andrew is AMAZING- he's highly knowledgable of the human body and his style of training involving the sequence of muscle firing with the combination with energy work is very thorough. You won't be disappointed and you will learn so much about your unique body and movement patterns. Definitely a life changing experience. Andrew also is just a really kind & genuine human and I just love his overall presence. I highly recommend him, he's worth every penny! :)

Andrew’s knowledge, wisdom, and techniques with the human body are a powerful and unique gift to anyone experiencing chronic pain or injury. Not only does he address the physical and provide practical physical therapy and exercises, but he also uses touch, bodywork, and intuition to help unravel the injury in a more neurological and metaphysical way. His hands are very healing.

I would strongly recommend him to my closest friends and family… anyone who is dealing with pain or injuries and needs help.

I recently had a session with Andrew in his beautiful, clean, equipped space in Boulder. The parking was easy and there was plenty of natural light. Andrew is patient, thoughtful, and incredibly skilled. I felt very safe following his routine and felt a difference after one session. He’s really versatile and can work with a newbie or professional athlete. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Andrew!

Playing a lot of sand volleyball and dancing salsa has wrecked my right shoulder. Vortx has given me the skills to rebuild my scapula strength in a healthy way. Much appreciated!

Andrew did a great job teaching me muscle stabilization exercises. I have had chronic back pain on and off for a long time and it is pretty minimal now. I can now add these to my exercise routine! Some of them get my heartrate up in my target range too! He and Kacey were really a pleasure to work with!

Andrew’s approach to health and fitness is truly unique. He helped me with rehab and sports performance with my right shoulder. I had broken my collarbone about a year ago and he really helped me regain strength and range of motion! I’m very grateful for the progress I’ve made with Andrew! I highly recommend him!!
