About the Club

Wabi-Sabi Pilates and Wellness studio offers private and small group equipment classes, as well as mat classes and workshops. At Wabi-Sabi, we believe in smaller class sizes so we can help support your goals with more attention, modifications, and progressions. We specialize in people new to Pilates, recovering from injury, or wanting to build more longevity and mobility for life. Everyone is welcome, and every body is a Pilates body.

Loved my session with Kelly! Her cueing was clear and intentional and she offered thoughtful adjustments that showed a strong understanding of alignment and movement mechanics. Even in just one session, her calm confident teaching style made it easy to relax and stay present. It’s always inspiring to experience another instructors approach and this session was no exception. I left feeling refreshed, aligned, and grateful for the opportunity to have been there. Highly recommend!

Kelly is a thoughtful and kind human, and a gifted instructor. I am new to Pilates, and was reticent about being a newbie. Not only did I immediately feel comfortable with her, but she engaged me with her intuitive sense of what I needed and how to support me as an individual. After even one session, I felt the difference in my body: the lengthening and space created. I tell anyone who will listen to just GO! My body feels 10 years younger, and all the chronic aches and pains in my lower back and shoulder have all but disappeared. I now go eagerly, and feel it is an anti-aging solution. I move freer and feel stronger, and know that Kelly has a plan for me to continue to grow in strength, alignment and flexibility. And because the studio is small, with only 4 people for group reformer classes and 6 for mat classes, she is always able to ensure that each client is using the correct form. Thank you, Kelly!

I love my Pilates sessions at Wabi-Sabi! I’m 79, and after two knee surgeries and a broken neck, I wasn’t sure I’d find movement that felt safe and effective. I’d tried other studios in Boulder that felt repetitive and uninspiring, but I’ve made more progress with Kelly in five months than I did in over two years of privates elsewhere. Every class is perfectly tailored to how I’m feeling that day. The studio is welcoming and beautifully done. I’m stronger, my balance has improved, and I’m much happier with my new, fit body!

I can’t recommend Wabi-sabi enough! I have had such a positive experience with Kelly’s great instruction and encouraging support! Getting stronger by the day and having fun. Heavenly scented cool towels are a sweet bonus after a hard workout. The studio is fresh, light and airy and the personal attention and smiles keep me going back! Kelly is an amazing fitness professional. Kelly is the best Pilates instructor I’ve ever had. She’s always so patient, very mindful, and extremely knowledgeable about how the practice can best help me. She really helped me recover after having a baby, which wasn’t even the hard past—once my baby girl became a heavier toddler, carrying her (favoring one side, of course!), my neck and shoulder pain was almost unbearable, especially while working at a computer most of the day. She took some old school Pilates, contemporary Pilates, and yoga to find me the best exercises to really combat the pain. She’s also always learning and she’s very passionate about passing along new info. I feel so comfortable being instructed by her and every class I take from her is so fun!
