Just moved to the state and am looking for a new gym. Lots of people mentioned Work out west to me. I thought dope let’s check it out come to their page and seeing how nasty the owner replies to some people. Not being able to take positive criticism for your own business. What are you 5 years old still trying to argue with people over the internet. Not a good look on your business in my opinion. No thanks, rather just get a membership at a professional establishment. Nasty and uncleaned establishment. Do not sanitize regularly and the only way they make their money is by charging months of past fees on peoples accounts. Save your pocket and find a better gym in my opinion….

Love, love, love this gym. It’s where I go to find my peace. Everyone is so nice and helpful. If I could give it 10 stars I would! I go 5 times a week & I love the convenience of the sauna, tanning and massage chairs. Everyone is extremely nice, accepting and always willing to help. My daughter goes to day care and I love the babysitter in the morning she is so good to my daughter and really good with kids! This is my go to and I’ll never change gyms.

I've been looking at Greeley gyms, and I have no idea how this one was voted one of the best. I came as a guest with my friend to see if I wanted to sign up a bit back.

Negatives: DIRTY. All around the ground near the walls and around the bases of the machines there was crumbs, dirt, and hair built up. The women's locker room smelled so musty. The staff didn't seem particularly interested in answering questions about the facility. My friend also let me know that the contracts are very intense and you can't get out of them once you sign. That's kind of a red flag to me: what if a patron is to get assaulted at the gym and not want to return? Or gets a severe injury that takes months to years to heal? Or moves away? (Yelp backs up what my friend said about the membership - YIKES!)

Questions: How would you handle if a patron was being stalked or got assaulted by another patron? Do you have other locations so that people could transfer their membership if they leave the Greeley area? Or ways to pause a membership while an injury heals? I would like to know how the facility handles these situations.

Positives: They appear to have multiples of most of the weight machines, and they have a walking path indoors that loops around the gym if you're not a fan of the treadmill. They are one of the few gyms in Greeley that has a wet area (through the window looked like maybe a very small pool and hot tub? Not 100% sure what I was looking at. There were signs talking about the sauna as well.)

BEWARE THE CONTRACT! BAD BUSINESS! After being charged $50 for a yearly fee that was never mention during sign up, I requested to cancel my account. I was given a form requiring signatures for a bunch liabilities and expressed that I wasn't comfortable signing it and would just like to cancel. (I never asked for a refund or missed a payment) I was told they wouldn't cancel, so I stated that I would remove my credit card and charge back any future charges. The bald man at the counter then told me that if I didn't sign the form that they would "Just keep billing me until they could send me to collections for HUNDREDS of dollars". What a horrible thing / threat to say to a customer.

Please for the love of God; voted “Greeley’s best gym” add better equipment. The strive machines (yellow ones on bottom floor) are not optimal and each of them should be replaced (really hoping for a better seated leg curl mainly). With how much space there is in the gym, I’m surprised that there’s only a single pec fly machine. I’d add at least two more as it’s one of the most popular machines Other than older finicky equipment, this gym is decent. Pretty comparable in price to other gyms in the area, though not as clean. The chlorine smell intoxicates the entire gym for such a small pool, I never fail going home smelling like I’ve been in a swimming for hours. Good mix of friendlier patrons with some egos added in. Overall a gym I love coming to, but see the potential in what could be. If google did half stars I’d rate 3.5/5.

Today was very pleasant! New resident to Greeley. Looking for a new gym home and stopped in WOW. I was greeted immediately by a warm and very friendly face! Crystal was very informative of what WOW has to offer. Was very gracious to walk me through the entire facility. Very careful to explain all the membership options available to me. She answered all my questions in detail, closing with asking me if all my questions were answered. The facility was very clean and organized. Thank you WOW and Crystal for such a warm welcome!

Been a member for around 2 years. I love the staff and the facilities, but they really need to work on their cleanliness.. specifically the hot tub and the locker rooms. The hot tub has massive piles of dirt in it basically every single day. And the mens locker room bathroom reeks of urine; assuming it needs all new urinals or something is wrong with the pipes. Locker room could also be vacuumed more often than it is. I’m hoping these issues can be corrected consistently so I can change this to a five star review.

The response is a joke. I specifically asked for 1 month membership to begin with. They did not tell me at any point the child care was a different entity nor how to cancel. Gym was spacious where you could get a great workout and not be crowded. Sauna was exceptionally clean, as well as the locker rooms. Great clientele. Trainers seemed on point.
Oh, by the way, 1st time in the gym. Do not live in the state. Got the thumbs up about this place from my cousin.
When I head back next year, I will definitely hit the gym more than once.
Great job goes to the staff there. Very clean and orderly for such a big facility.

Great gym been coming for many years. Definitely not as jam packed as the other facilities in town. A lot of my Family has memberships here and we always talk highly of the place. Only thing stopping from a 5⭐️ review is cleanliness of steam and sauna rooms. The hot tub, and cold plunge are cleaned regularly but sauna and steam room seem to be neglected sometimes.

Overall good gym and friendly staff. I worked out here for two years. I left because of a simple billing misunderstanding, I was told one thing by an employee, but charged another way. I used to have an eating disorder and continue to have severe body image issues. Every other gym I’ve gone to makes me feel like I’m being judged or that I’m not good enough, etc. At WOW, everyone is so sweet and accepting. Wouldn’t consider changing gyms ever now. I've been coming to this establishment since I was 20, I'm 34 now and this gym is still my second home. There is a sense of community and respect within staff and other members, especially my early mornings crowd. We have created a beautiful family within members and something I really appreciate about coming here. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a gym make it impossible to cancel and they allow males to act out inappropriately around women here. I travel a lot for work and have used many gyms across the country. There is truly something to be said for Work Out West, the services they offer, and their instructors. It is so comforting when I return to the gym and I am acknowledged by name.

Additionally, I had given up on spin class years ago because of an awful experience. I joined the Thursday morning class at the encouragement of other class members. A huge shout out and thank you to Erin O for welcoming me, helping me get the bike set up for me, and not only ensuring I was doing well during the class, she followed up with me to ask how I liked the class and invited me back.

I was in town for business for 2 weeks. I got a guest pass and was able to keep up with my fitness goals on the road. The gym staff was warm and inviting and helpful at every interaction. The exercise equipment selection was top notch. The gym was clean and well kept and pleasing layout wise. To be honest one of if not the nicest gyms I have ever been in. Considering it was 100°F outside the gym stayed cool to where I was not uncomfortable. It has all the amenities one could ask for in a gym. The clientele or members of the gym was also good and well mannered. No drama with sharing machines or anything. When I go back to town on business I will be going back.

Work Out West is one of the worst gyms in Greeley. From a physical standpoint, the layout of the gym itself is very cluttered and at the same time spaced very strangely. While there is a lot of equipment, a majority of it is old and in poor condition (broken, rusted, outdated, etc). It is so hot inside and reeks of chlorine. The overall vibe of the place is just dark, dingy, and damp.
From a business and ethical perspective, this place is just shady. From what I have experienced and from what I have read, they make it extremely difficult to get out of a membership. You must send in a physical letter or go in person to cancel. In my written letter, I explained my reason for cancellation as an unexpected change in finances, making this an expense I just can’t afford. Their response was that I needed to provide proof of moving at least 35 miles away AND pay a $100 fee or they would not cancel the membership. That just seems ridiculous to me. This is a gym membership, it should not be that serious.
You would think from all the money they are making from people, they could afford to put in some A/C and some better equipment. Go to literally any other gym.

(In response). I’ve been going to the gym for 6 or 7 years and that was first time I was ever thanked for anything. It was my son’s first day in kid care and in the first 15 minutes you kick him out. Also, I’m not sure why the manager is posting responses as the “owner”. Kind of weird.

My issue is not with the staff, they’re great. The situation could have been handled a lot better. Take some accountability instead of just saying he needs to go. The fact that you can’t even say, “we’ll do better next time”, or something along those lines, shows your narcissistic behavior.

Work out west has seen it’s better days. T R U L Y what once was a primer Gym has lost itself to horrible management. It’s sad to see what this establishment has turned into. Poor customer service. Broken equipment. Latches and pins that shouldn't even be allowed on equipment anymore. Don’t think about trying to work on an account or cancel one because the manager is never there. Or too busy partaking in drama to correct issues with customers.

Had to follow up and drop off letters 4 plus times to workers. This seems to be a common occurrence. Let alone adding people or taking them off. Took me about six months to see why I had multiple accounts open before one could go to collections instead of combining them because management is never around to follow up or help customers. No returned calls, emails; nothing.(One way to make up for missing accounts that have left to Golds Gym) Canceling my membership was the best thing I could have done.

Love seeing the manager talk horribly about past members having issues on his Facebook and blasting private business information all over social media. One thing to bash people for not paying their accounts and it’s another to never be in your office to cancel and or follow up with customers and find resolutions. Don’t forget they don’t have a working security camera on the premises let alone around any of the facility after the current happenings of Greeley when addressed my concerns of security on the premises not one security camera worked in the parking lot. I would think twice before signing up. What once was. There are plenty of other gyms around the area that would love your support and your money, Without the Hassle.

But the those places have staff as well as members who are full of themselves...popularity contest! If your looking for a no nonsense gym with good people who are there for the right reasons. We LOVE Kid Care at WOW! The team is always so great with the kids. They do crafts with them, color and play. I look forward to hearing about all the fun activities from my little girl. Other places I’ve been to will have a different worker staffed just to cover shifts. At WOW’s Kid Care, you never have a random person covering for another. You always know the person who is watching your child. The schedule is consistent and that gives this Mama peace of mind.

It truly is like coming home when you are at WOW. The staff knows you by name, asks about your family and they make sure you have everything you need to reach your goals. I feel like I’m dropping my kids off with a relative while I work out. That kind of peace of mind is worth every penny for KidCare. And surprisingly, it doesn’t take too many pennies to join. It truly is affordable!

Not a member, but shopping for a gym at the moment. Seeing how the management responds to less than 5 star reviews makes me not want to have to deal with them on person. Also, with a member base if its size, it really strikes me as odd why they would not invest in air conditioning. This place just seems shady. I needed to relocate and would pay out the rest of the contract but I was charged in total of $236.00 due to in contract I was to go in person 30 days prior to end the membership (which I had done 90 days prior to cancel). The team was good in helping me get things canceled but I did not receive money back due to negligence of an employee working that day. I enjoyed the staff but the general knowledge was not present. In cost was a decent charge on my account which they felt apologetic but was not largely concerned in pursuing reprimand.

We love work out west! We’ve been coming here for over a year and it feels like home. We love everything that comes with the facility (free weights, machines, sauna, swimming pool, etc.) I definitely recommend!

We absolutely love all the ladies that work in the daycare at WOW! I have 3 littles ages 2, 4, and 5 and they ABSOLUTELY love going to the gym with me! We adore Miss Jen and Miss Tracey! I feel completely comfortable leaving the kids with them! Best gym around! 💗💗💗

We’ve been using the Kidscare at WOW since April 2021, and we have been really happy with it. Our daughter does holiday crafts, coloring, etc. on top of playing with toys and the other kids. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked in to pick her up and one of the attendants is on the floor playing with the kids. They all know my daughter her by name (as does the front desk staff), and she loves it, too. I recommend WOW to everyone, especially if they have kids!

I have been a member of this club since 2012. I really enjoyed the classes and thought everyone was very friendly. When asked during covid if I wanted my membership frozen I said no so that it would help the employees be able to keep getting paid. However now that my job is changed and I no longer can come to workout West we ask for a cancelation early in December and was told that we had to wait 30 days which meant my membership came out again in January.. When I called I was told nothing they could do but they would have a manager call me The manager called me told me the same thing I'm very disappointed that my membership came out again in January when we worked so hard to help employees there. Because of poor customer service I will not recommend this club. Thanks for your response to my review,
at least I finally got you to talk with me. I have worked in business where I know how cancelation policies work so I know a phone call from you would have been all it would have taken. So sad that's how you run your business. A refund for January would speak highly of your concern for your members.

I was charged my membership due for January by mistake. My acct is frozen due to covid issues until March 30th. I called WOW and after a lengthy conversation WOW said they would refund the dues.. i also informed my acct was hit with overdraft fee.. WOW informed me to call the Billing office to get them refund the overdraft fee. The billing company said they would not refund the overdraft fee.. So long story short i have been a member for over 10 years, i iwll be cancelling the membership, thanks WOW, I hope you buy some equipment with my over draft fee.

This place was asking for money when they were shut down due to covid. Now that the customers get covid they can't help them out. Been with them 1.5 years. I wanted to support local businessBut the company doesn't support the locals what a shame
