I really appreciate that Adam demonstrates many of the asanas. As a yogi who doesn't normally find myself in a level 2 session some of the asanas are either new to me or I don't have the muscle memory to work into them without guidance. It is delightful to practice at this challenging level without feeling like I'm in a cardio calisthenics class!

As a Yoga Teacher, I have a high standard for Yoga Studios. YP South Boulder was excellent from the moment I walked in. From being met by a friendly face who helped me get set up for class, to clean locker rooms, and a highlight was the views of the Flatirons from the windows. Their class are accessible and yet offered opportunities for challenge and play. I love that their Hot Classes are 95, rather than 105 like most studios, this is such a nice option for new students to find yoga. Thank you!

Rachel’s Yin class was amazing. So calming, & well led. I learned fish pose and even chose to stay in it longer because I loved it so much, but also because Rachel said it was okay to stay in it longer if we wanted to. Rachel’s guidance and suggestions helped me have a great night. Thank You Rachel! You Rock!

I signed up for the $40 for 4 weeks, and to my total dismay got stitches in BOTH of my hands right after I signed up. Needless to say, I couldn't do any yoga for the entirety of those 4 weeks, until the VERY LAST DAY of the dea when I was sufficiently healed. I shared with the instructors at the front desk how bummed I was that I didn't get to experience all the classes or take advantage of the deal, and wondered if it started the date of purchase of the first day of attendance. I swiftly got a call the next day saying they had extended it for me and it started the first day of attendance! I since have gone every week day and plan to immerse myself in it until it's time for a membership. Classes aren't crowded, each instructor and class is so unique and it's a much better deal than Corepower... :)

What an awesome Flow 2 class at YogaPod South. Class was led by Jesse who made the best of a 60 minute window by grounding the class with his introduction and intention. Then sequenced us through a nice slow warm up that led into flow sequences and finally a grounding finish.
Wonderful class, thank you Jesse and YogaPod

I really love Cree's classes. She is an excellent teacher! I've been practicing various types of yoga (Bikram, Hatha, Iyengar, etc.) in San Luis Obispo, Santa Fe, and Boulder over the last 15 years and Cree has an authentic way of reading her students cues and holding space to tune into the present moment! It's always a pleasure to be her student.

I am so excited about Yoga Pod! I tried the $40 class pass for those new to the studio, and absolutely loved it! Every class I took was a great experience, and each teacher was wonderful and kind. Yoga Pod is a great community, and I am so excited to become a full month to month member.

During the 2005s I discovered YogaPod on 30th in Boulder. Modern, minimalist, impeccably taken care of by the organization and its members; it is a yoga studio FOR ALL to learn, to build community and to practice. I'm back to yoga after 10+ years off my mat. I've rejoined YogaPod this time at its new south Boulder Studio. There it offers the same high performance qualities that define the team and the brand and spectacular views of the Boulder Flatirons. I'm moving back to south Boulder and my yoga studio will be YogaPod south Boulder. I'm delighted to rejoin this community of warm, talented, considerate people. Muito obrigado YogaPod South Boulder :-)

I enjoyed the class. I was late for Pod Flow I and had been hesitant to take the Pod Flow II because I am feeling rusty, but Adam taught it in a way that allowed a bit more time to transition between poses. I also enjoyed what felt like a more spiritual aspect that Adam brought to the setting.

Gratitude!

VIOLATED MY RIGHT TO MEDICAL PRIVACY:

I was a member of this studio when the following event happened. The manager of the South Boulder location informed me that I was not entitled to further information nor an apology from Rob. Please read below:

I have taken over 60 classes at yoga pod and I have been practicing yoga for over 2 decades. I was 5 minutes into Rob’s class when my watch (on DND) vibrated to let me know that I had an abnormal health reading, that it is trained to watch for. This was very scary because I have a health condition and I have not had an alert in over a year. I had not gotten to the second word of the alert when Rob yelled at me for scrolling. I let him know it was a medical alert and he proceeded to tell me that I had to let him know of any medical issues I had and that I was just being rude. This is NOT TRUE. I actually work in healthcare and I DO NOT have to tell him any of my medical issues, as I had signed a liability waiver with all of the medical questions answered correctly. On top of that, he was pressuring me to do it IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE CLASS. If you wear a heart rate monitor, diabetes monitor, etc. please let it be known that this studio tolerates this behavior. I let management know of the situation. I never received an apology from Rob or confirmation that he agreed not to repeat this behavior in the future. PLEASE INVEST IN HIPAA TRAINING IF YOUR FITNESS INSTRUCTORS INSIST ON ACTING THIS WAY.

I came to yogapod when I was in Longmont visiting and I loved it so much I found you on YouTube. I like to check out new teachers/studios on YouTube, and your classes are better than 90% of what’s out there. I like a pace where I can settle into the pose and explore my own potential, but still flow. A lot of video teachers are too fast to really get the alignment right. Very helpful cueing also, precise and helpful. I’ll be back whenever I’m in town. In the meantime, more videos or maybe an app? Thanks for all you do.

My experience at Yoga Pod South Boulder has been great so far.

I play a lot of volleyball and hike a fair amount and with the repetitive compression on my spine I've been stiff and sore for a while now and I knew I needed to do something to prevent injury and help loosen things up again so I can continue to play as I get older. A friend of mine recommended I try yin yoga as it targets the deep connective tissues and would help me stretch, lengthen, and loosen up.

I'm new to yoga and not your typical yogi (tall, big-bearded male with a bit of a belly who is about as flexible as a flagpole), so I was a little nervous and in my own head felt out of place at first; however, the staff has been incredibly kind, friendly, patient, and supportive.

Lara's classes are always calm, relaxing, and restorative; I always leave feeling more connected and aligned. Paul is kind-hearted, easy going, and has a great laugh; his classes are always fun to attend. I believe it's Cree that has been working the front desk from time-to-time? Anyway, she's always been warm, friendly, and welcoming with a big smile. My girlfriend and I are always glad to see her when she's there.

Shannon has gone WAY above and beyond helping me. I was telling her after my first class with her that I'm new to Yoga to please feel free to correct me if I'm doing something wrong and somehow it came up that I have scoliosis... I've had it forever and had just kind of accepted that my back would be stiff on good days or sore and achy for a few days when I work or play too hard. Shannon took the time to get to know me, my spine and where it curves, where my back is usually stiff and sore. She's spent a lot of her free time making a personalized plan with yoga poses, strengthening exercises, etc. to help with better spinal alignment and reduce soreness. She's stayed late after many classes helping me with getting the poses right and finding variations that work for me. I'm only just starting; however, I've had comments that I'm moving better, and I feel like I recover a little faster and am a little less sore when I work or play hard.

While I'm still awkward, inflexible, and don't always get the poses quite right, I feel like I belong and am accepted as part of the Yoga Pod South Boulder community.

I don't know if yoga will ever fix my scoliosis; however, I do know that if I keep up the work on my end, I will be less stiff and sore, and I'll be able to continue to move and play and be in nature when I get older and for that I'm eternally grateful to Shannon and the rest of the Yoga Pod South Boulder team.

This is a friendly, supportive yoga studio with a wide variety of classes and skilled instructors. I always feel welcomed when I walk through the door and refreshed and energized when I leave. In addition to hot yoga, vinyasa, yin etc, they offer a Fit class, which is not yoga at all, but rather a general fitness class with weights and cardio, so this could easily be your only gym. Studio is clean and beautiful and has a stunning view of the Flatirons. Check it out!

Really enjoying having the teachers, community and variety of classes right here in SoBo. Especially grateful for how the Vin-Yin classes with Shannon have helped my body regain the strength, lung capacity, flexibility and endurance that I wasn't sure I'd ever experience againβ€”from shoulder rehab to wall-handstand push-ups! I'm also grateful that their promotions made it so easy to check out the studio for so low cost. Every bit helps.

The new Yoga Pod in South Boulder is beautiful! I did the HotVin Fusion class with friends on a Sunday morning. Instead of a mirror for a focal point, I had the Flatirons!
