This gym was bought out by Chuze Fitness who is off 102nd and Washington on the west side.

If you want to get a good workout with reasonable hours, this gym works. The gym is clean and usually the free weight area isnt crowded. Staff is friendly and can help with reasonable questions. This gym works for beginners/experienced.

Update: closed on 2/27/20 without warning and shipped the memberships to the chuze by 104th. I was in there on 2/26 and they couldn't even give me a heads up. I had been coming here since 2015. I'm sad to see it go as it was really convenient. Off to Vasa I guess...

Came into to gym to look and signing up. I was told they had to have my email before showing me around or giving me any pricing. I was not interested in getting junk mail from then . So our group will be going to another gym. Horrible service

Tim the multi unit manager very unprofessional not will to help guest out. He never tried to figure a way to resolve my situation he just continued to repeat policy's. Understanding a guest and realizing that every situation that comes in front of you is different goes a long way. Tim for sure is the reason I will not be going back to YouFit. I will be contacting the corporate office to see if I can have my situation resolved. Extra work I should not have to do.

I love this gym, and have been a member for 5 yrs. I recently joined a Planet Fitness (because they’re 24 hrs), but retained my YouFit membership because I like the equipment better, and the environment. PF is cool, but it’s often super busy. I prefer less of a crowd, a little breathing room. YouFit has times where it’s slammed, but if you go during off-peak hours, it’s perfect. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, and the equipment is always clean. The showers are awesome too. YouFit is definitely no-frills, but I prefer that. I’ve done guest workouts at Chuze and Lifetime, and there’s too much going on in those gyms—YouFit may not appeal to everyone, but if you’re into simplicity and quality, they’re a good fit 🙂

For the price there are better options out there. What makes me dislike this place is their requirements to cancel your membership. One it has to be in person and two you have to pay to do it.

This location went through a bit of turmoil right after I joined, but has bounced back nicely. The new Manager Tim is super nice, the trainer Amanda is amazing and all of the front desk staff are very courteous and helpful. I like that the gym is small. The place is always clean and doesn't smell like a gym. I'm an older woman and do not feel intimidated to walk in and exercise.

Awesome and clean gym. Cleanest gym I ever been in. Always see staff cleaning when they aren't busy at the front. New management seems to have started to fix all the issues that previous management never got to. I recommend this gym to anyone who likes to workout without having to wait for any equipment.

This is a nice, smaller neighborhood gym. I work our early in the morning and it's rarely super busy so I can get in, get my workout done and get to work. I sometimes workout on weekends and staff is friendly no matter what time of day you go. For me, the convenient location is worth a lot - it's only a 5-minute walk from my house.

I've been coming here for a couple months now and it's been nothing but good for me. I jump between the Arvada location and this one because of my work schedule. Both locations are clean and have all the equipment I need. The workers are friendly and welcoming. It doesn't get too busy whenever I go which is a plus for sure. Highly recommended!

Great gym for the price. I've been working out here for 2 years and enjoy coming here. Definitely a no frills gym. If you weigh over 200 pounds, do not run on the treadmills. They will break and you'll most likely injure yourself. Lastly, they don't pay their staff well and is beginning to show with the high amount of turnover.

So last night the 12 year old at the desk, refused to “let me in” the gym that I just signed up for because they have stupid liberal policies like planet fitness that doesn’t allow 1 gallon jugs in the gym. Instead of calling me and fixing the problem they emailed me and cancelled my membership with a refund. I GUESS I will NEVER sign up for YouFit again. Nor will I recommend it.

I would not recommend this club. Their business practices are unethical regarding their cancellations. There is a lawsuit filed in Florida, where the headquarters are located, from the Attorney General regarding their business practices. I have taken further action. I would also add that the customer service regarding this issue was poor, at best. After reading the lawsuit, all cancellations were to be honored, immediately. The obviously are not following the guidelines directed in the settlement. The Florida Attorney General has been notified.

Oh my god this is THE WORST gym on Earth. The SCAM nature of this place can't be overstated! Charging for things you didn't request, charging more for things you did, refusing to adjust their billing even when presented with documentation contrary to their charges, not cancelling service repeatedly after you've requested service be cancelled REPEATEDLY. I would go on, but I pray you get the point by now. Avoid this franchise like the plague. It's not even open 24 hours. Garbage.

The staff here is amazing! Some places you go the people don't even greet you and you can tell they don't like their jobs but I am always greeted with a smile and everyone is very helpful and friendly. The facility is very clean and they are always cleaning. I go 5 days a week at various times of day and I've never seen the restrooms/locker rooms messy or dirty. It does get busy in the evenings but not so busy that you can't get in there and find something to do. They only thing I would love to see change was being open a little later Friday thru Sunday but otherwise I love it here!

I have had nothing but issue after issue since joining this gym. For starters, the personal training service they sell you is not the service that you will receive. You have to sign a three-month contract when you sign up for the service. My first personal trainer quit (if they are as “organized” with their employees as they are with their customers, I can see why he quit) after two training sessions so they offered me a girl that did not know what she was doing. I figured that maybe we just needed to figure out how to work with each other. Three training sessions later I “fired” her and wanted a different personal trainer. The third trainer that I signed up with scheduled an appointment and did not show up for it and was 15 minutes late for another appointment and told me that we would have to cut the training session short. Needless to say I paid for my third month of training sessions and did not use them because the service was so horrible. I talked to both the manager Mike and Lindsey and they both stated that my personal training service would be cancelled and that the money would not come out of my account for a fourth month. Well, I should have not listened to them because the charge came out for a fourth month. On top of having that issue, I tried to change my bank account with Lindsey for the monthly 13.00 fee and that was not done correctly. It was corrected when I went online and changed it myself. The ONLY good thing about this gym is all of the equipment they offer. My suggestion is to save your headache and time and find a different gym.

I didn't think any gyms closed as early as 8 pm on the weekends. You should really look into staying open later at least on Saturday. Claims to be a green gym but requires you to use paper towels to wipe down machines or bring your own towel. Also assumed all you fit gyms had classes? Apparently not this one.

Don't listen to these negative reviews. It's a good gym, staff is nice. If you don't like what they're selling you can go to a different place. It doesn't hurt to come in and take a look. It can get a little busy but you're gonna find that anywhere. It's a fairly large gym so you should be able to find space to work out.

I recently cancelled my membership. They charge a fee to become a member. The membership fee goes up after 6 months. Then they charge a maintenance fee every 6 months on top of their membership fee. Than they charge you to cancel. I had 24hr fitness in the past and liked them better. Overall I think that you fit is more expensive and not as nice as 24hr fitness. I am glad that I cancelled my membership and am going back to 24hr fitness. I will never get a membership at you fit again. Do not recommend

Better than nothing but not by much. Most of the time there is less than 50% of the people actually using the machines. Most just hog a machine to sit & talk or play on their phone. This happens everyday. And if not that, then there is a clique who just stand over a machine, blocking it's use talking for 20 -30 minutes. 80% of the people never wipe off a machine. No wifi. And the tv's on the treadmill & bikes are useless. I mentioned this to the area mgr & was told the local club has no control over what channels are being shown. 30% of the channels are infomercials, 5-6 are old worn out channels. The NFL is pretty important in Colorado, yet it is only on the overhead tv. And the staff - mgr comes in at 10am to 11am & sits in the office while the rest of the staff sit around talking to each other. I would remove most of the equipment & put in couches. You might want to visit Thornton Rec Center to see how a gym should be run.

Also when I got my "Free" training session the guy was like 30 minutes late and of course I fell for the training sessions... Now I have 3 months of training that I have to pay for because well guess what they will charge me for cancelling. Ugh.

It's nice and affordable. However, they don't allow gallon sized containers for some far out reason other than they just don't, and no WiFi to connect to, so you have to drain data if you want to listen to Spotify or Pandora, which I'm okay with since it's only $10 a month, but the no gallon container makes absolutely 0 sense.

Equipment is nice, but atmosphere discourages weightlifting and real training. There is not any open floor space for deadlifts or Olympic lifts. Chalk is not allowed because it "leaves a mess". I was also told I can't have my backpack on the gym floor. I get the feeling they want you to sign up and then never come back.

Signed up for the trainer sessions and the guy they have me bailed all the time and was never available for my schedule. Then I had surgery and couldn't attend and just wanted to cancel my trainer sessions from renewing. Didn't want my unused sessions or money back, just wanted to cancel the renewal prior to them charging me again and they made me go in- after just having surgery. So then I moved and called to cancel my actual membership because well, I moved and they again said I had to go in. I'm out of the state! Are you serious?! So really- watch out.

I cannot say anything bad about the the use of the gym, but when I had to move and cancel my membership, that is when nightmare started. I have had to call three times to cancel even after sending a letter with my $10 fee. It came down to me having to dispute the charges with my bank and while no employee was rude to me I am not a happy customer. I would get calls asking me to switch from my credit card to a bank account constantly and that was the dumbest thing I did.
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER! When you have to call repeatedly to cancel and you are NOT given your money back that should raise many a red flag.

I like this place. I have been going there since it opened. They are pretty flexible and overall the place is neat and tidy. I would really like if they began classes. They had them for a short time and they were wonderful. I feel like I'm not getting everything I'm paying for. I have gone to some of their other locations and they have specific areas for classes, not just the circuits, and they are amazing! I wish that would be taken into consideration for the members in Thornton. Edit: Due to the lack of classes I am considering switching.

Very Clean, great staff. Amaxing prices. Everything is new and clean. It shows that the staff does a lot to keep it that way. They got something for everyone, only down fall is the lack of a stretching/kettlebell/abdominals area.
