Great location. Perfect size for small groups. Highly recommend for young athletes to build a stronger connections. Joe Santacroce strength trains my 12 year old son & his fellow team mates to keep in shape and preform better for football & lacrosse. His schedule is very flexible and affordable as groups. His communication is also on point! I love the fact he texts the group chat every week to find out who’s coming and who’s not.

I have belonged to many gyms through the years and nothing compares to 838. I have been doing strength training sessions since the opening with Owner & Trainer Joe and have also had the opportunity to train with Mary and Zeke as well. I would give an A++ from the trainers, professional, knowledgeable, experienced, wonderful people, to the facility, new state-of-the-art equipment, always spotless. The atmosphere is always empowering and uplifting as well. There is so much attention in all aspects to excellence. I would highly recommend 838 for your fitness goals!

I have been exercising at 838 Strength for 6 months. Like everyone else, I had experience at other facilities. I was a bit taken aback by the appearance, wondering where all the equipment was hidden, but that isn't what this facility is about.
Joey has crafted challenging routines that focus on different muscle groups with a mixture of strength training, cardio, core, and range of motion. Due to the small class size, we all get a lot of attention concerning our form and effort.
When I joined the classes, I had sciatica that was affecting my ability to exercise and golf. After a month at 838, the pain is gone, my strength has improved, and my range of motion continues to improve. If your form isn't good, you get immediate feedback.
One aspect of the gym that really surprised me is the fact that some of the sessions will be mixed gender. I figured women would be intimidated to exercise with men, but they aren't. I may lift a heavier weight, but the women are incredibly strong in different ways and put the guys to shame.
This is a different sort of gym offering a unique experience.

I am a 55-year-old female who had zero experience in a gym and was very hesitant to start training. I initially signed up due to concern of waking up with aches and pains and difficulty with losing weight. I was referred to Mary started working with her 3 months ago. She quickly understood my goals and my concern about experience level. Mary has matched my commitment while we work together 2 days a week. I have learned so much about the musculoskeletal system, food choices and my own abilities. I can now confidently name most of my muscle groups and many of strength exercises. I started to lose the weight and gain strength in all my muscle groups. It was my first time going to a trainer and I was a little nervous but I’m so glad I found Joe!! He is amazing!! Very patient and a great motivator. I’ve gotten so much stronger. He is very knowledgeable and makes sure that my form is correct so I don’t hurt anything. If an exercise is too difficult he always a modification that works the same muscles but avoids injury. My mom and I worked out and trained with Joey and we both still say it was the best shape we were ever in and the best we both ever felt physically. Joey is an amazing trainer, so in tune with you as a person and so in tune to where you are physically. He always pushed us both to our limits but never beyond….and when we didnt believe we could do it, he encouraged us and even laughed with us when we’d lose our focus!
