This place is amazing. The owner Jenn is not only super sweet, she’s an awesome instructor. I’ve also taken classes with Liz, AJ, Wren, and Tracey and they are all equally awesome, each with their own unique personality, style, and coaching abilities so you really get a well-rounded experience to your training. I’ve learned so much in only a month as each instructor introduces not only new moves, but variations on each which unlocks endless possibilities. Everyone there is really supportive and encouraging too, no matter where you are on your journey. I look forward to each class and feel a renewed excitement in finding something physically challenging that I also love.

Very welcoming environment for new people. Had a blast learning something new. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a good workout. This is a fonomanl small business. Yes, you may try some things outside of your comfort zone. For me personally, it has really helped improve my self-confidence. This is a very warm welcoming place to be. The instructor took her time to make sure I got the moves and didn't leave me behind even though this was my first class. I can definitely see myself going back to learn more. -update here I have now been going for 8 months and wouldn't change this part of my fitness journey for anything.

Our troop reached out about hosting a girl scout event. Ages range 7-15. Not know what to except we walked in as a group. We were met by two of the sweetest and nicest instructors. They were so welcoming and encouraging. They assisted each girl and even got us moms to join in on the fun! Definitely fun, most girls have been asking when we can go back. Would highly recommend! Abs were sore for a few days. Such a great/fun workout. We can definitely is the girls signing up for future sessions.

AAF is such an amazing studio. I've been coming here for 2 years now and it's honestly like my 2nd home. I've made some amazing friends coming here. The instructors are so amazing, supportive and patient with everyone. I started out doing pole, and this year i started doing Silks, Hammock, Flex and Stretch and Troupe consistently (i've also done a few of the other classes, but not as consistent). I'm here like 4-5 days per week. Such an amazing environment. Love the AAF fam! Totally recommend to anyone looking to have a fun work out!

Coming to AAF has been a life-changing experience. I started this year terrified of heights, with no support system in Connecticut, and no upper body strength. Just three months after my very first class here, i cannot tell you enough about the positive 180° change in my life since then. The instructors are kind and patient, while being willing to push you to challenge your limiting beliefs in yourself, and help in setting realistic goals. I came in to try a pole class, and find myself taking multiple Lyra classes a week, and even trying “Acro-Chair” for the first time! I’m so grateful to have found a home here, and I’m sure you will too.

I took my first class today and can't say enough good things about this place. I'm pretty chunky and didn't feel uncomfortable at all! Everyone cheered each other on as they accomplished new things and it was such a sense of camaraderie and empowerment. It was also one hell of a workout!

Booked the beginner pole class for the first time … got there today 10 minutes late because I am 35 mins away and then couldn’t find the studio because it’s all the way in the back and she would not let me join the class. Horrible, not professional at all

I've been going to aerial arts fitness for 2 years now mainly taking pole classes. I love this place! Since my first class I have been hooked. It's such fun and challenging workout. My upper body and core strength has improved so much since I started taking classes here.
All the instructors are absolutely amazing. Super supportive, motivating, and welcoming. Fun and nonjudgmental atmosphere. If you have ever thought about trying out a pole, Lyra, silks, lollipop, hammock, class, take the leap and sign up for a class! You will not be disappointed!!

AAF is a really open and welcoming environment. Not everyone is at the same level and all the of instructors are patient with where ever you are and always have advice for improvement and new moves to try. I have a difficult time committing moves to muscle memory, so I have to be retaught how to do some stuff every time, but the instructors have been very patient and have found different ways to explain the same move so that I can learn. The studio offers pole, Lyra, and silk classes along with dance classes that aim to improve flexibility and establish confidence in your body. I’d highly recommend this studio.

If you're looking for empowerment, physical strength, and a great community, Aerial Arts Fitness is the place. Everyone who comes to AAF is on their own unique path. There's no competition and no judgement, only support. The instructors have lots of pole knowledge to share and are very patient and helpful if you're not immediately able to get a trick. Truly can't recommend AAF enough.

I have been attending AAF for almost 1 year and I will keep going back. I do aerial hammock and lyra with Jenn. I was a complete beginner with lyra and she's been great teacher! Every class has students who range from first-timers to advanced yet she tailors the classes to suit everyone's needs.

I am so glad I finally took the leap, and signed up for these fabulous classes with Aerial Arts Fitness! Coming in for my first session, I had no idea what to expect and was rather nervous as I’m not in the best shape. However, upon walking into their studio, my nerves were instantly calmed by the wonderful supportive atmosphere and incredibly personable instructor, Angela. By the end of the class, I couldn’t wait to sign up for more, and now have my next 5 scheduled! I highly advise giving these classes a chance if you’re on the fence, and looking for a fun but intense workout!

I took a class is Watertown yesterday and it was great. The instructor called me before hand to make sure I knew where I was going and what I needed as well as asking if I had any questions. I'm a little bruised but that was expected and I plan on going back when I can fit it in my schedule.

I absolutely LOVE Aerial Arts Fitness and EVERYTHING about it! I started taking classes there right after my birthday in January and haven't stopped since.
I was looking for a great place to kick start my weight loss. I hate the gym... tried it... hated it! I wanted something that brought me back to my childhood of dance, and unfortunately no where in South Eastern CT teaches dance for adults. Once I found Aerial Arts, I emailed them to see if it would be ok for someone who was over weight and trying to get back into the game. I received an email back from Angela (the owner) who said that they would be behind me 100% of the way and would help me meet my goals... well SHE WASN'T LYING! 25lbs lost and still going strong.
I have made great friends here and love spending my 3-4 nights a week here. I feel great and I think I'm starting to look even better!
The classes are fantastic and kick a$$. You will feel it the next day! But its a great feeling.

I'm going to start this review with a disclaimer... pole fitness is absolutely addictive! I started attending classes a few months ago and after my first class I was hooked! Pole has increased my strength, my flexibility, my coordination and I've made huge improvements in my overall fitness... despite being an avid runner! The classes are so much fun and the instructors are fantastic. They are not only talented and committed to their art, but they are also great teachers! I am the most uncoordinated person on earth and they are so patient as I'm learning new moves and figuring out how to master new techniques. The students are awesome, too... all the girls are so supportive and it is so much fun to encourage each other as we learn and celebrate each other's victories!

You'll just have to keep coming back... but don't say I didn't warn you! :)

I've been going to this pole studio since January and it's only gotten better! Both students (of all ages, shapes and sizes!) and staff are really friendly and welcoming. There is an emphasis on the fitness side of pole but you can still get in touch with your sexy side with Hell on Heels. They also offer yoga and kickboxing but I haven't been to those classes so I can't comment. Your first class is always free so come check it out! Maybe I'll see you there!
