Love playing soccer but I’ve never played somewhere where I feel like I might get seriously injured each week. 7v7 used to play for winning a t shirt as session champions, but the new owner sharply increased the prices but we’re getting less. It’s disappointing to see the community aspects of this place gone with the new owners. Hoping to see improvements reflecting the price increases.

The field itself is fine if you just want to rent it, but the 7v7 soccer league they run is the most ridiculous league I’ve ever seen. I’ve been playing in leagues for almost ten years in NYC, Philly, and DC, and I’ve never seen anything as unorganized as this one.

They charge each team around $1,000, yet the complex doesn’t even have a standard soccer ball for the games. Every week they scramble to see if a player brought one. Their website says they use certified referees but for the first two weeks of this fall league the refs didn’t even have a whistle (glad they recently spent 10 bucks on one). I doubt these “certified” refs have ever even watched an indoor soccer match on TV, let alone gone to any formal training for a certification. They just stand in the middle of the field near the scoreboard controller and miss half the collisions and interactions in the game.

As for the competition, some players are clearly just out there to be aggressive but the referees do absolutely nothing to control the game. Their idea of refereeing is literally calling random fouls without any sense of game management.

Save your money and play anywhere else, this is really the worst league I’ve ever played in!!

The fields here are absolutely beat to pieces. The “renovations” here include uneven patchwork that is as much of a tripping hazard to players as the original holes. These fields are worn out without adequate padding underneath between the turf and concrete. I’ve seen many joint related injuries occur as a result- it’s unsafe.

Many players are hoping for a competitor to open up nearby as it seems like the only thing keeping this place in business is lack of other adult indoor leagues close enough to the area.

Lately these fields have been covered in cracker crumbs, candy, etc from events they don’t clean after, and even some dirty bandaids.

This place has the same refs every week, although some are friendly , some consistently never seem to be putting in a lot of effort to keep up with the game or prioritize player safety when it comes to contact in rec league games.

This place charges similar prices as much nicer facilities, but unfortunately over the years players do not get to see their money go to much use. They need a full set of new turf and disallow food on the pitches.

The place is absolutely frigid in the late fall and winter - it seems they don’t turn the heat on until it reaches freezing point or some arbitrary number. So if it’s 45 F outside, it’s 45 F inside too.

The turf fields are in sore need of updating, as there are patches where the surface is just detached, which is actually really dangerous. Other patches are covered in duct tape.

The men’s bathroom is generally not clean, and you’ll only find paper towels in there 50% of the time from the one paper towel dispenser that works (the other is apparently a decoration).

And the most egregious transgression of them is their poor scheduling system. For example, pickup soccer on Wednesdays usually utilizes both of the fields. Some nights, if there is a makeup league game that needs to be played, they push the pickup to just one field and use the other field for the league game, leading to too many people for one field. I would expect some kind of notification of this, if not online, then at least at the front door. Instead, they wait for you to pay and walk in and be surprised that you will likely only have half the time to play. Also, the fact that they charge full price, on a night where they only provide half the space, is fairly ridiculous too.

Honestly, the reason I give this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the friendly staff and the community fostered - all the refs know all the players, the staff frequently can be seen playing when they’re off-duty, etc.

The arena is completely outdated. It is freezing in the facility during the colder months. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. The staff do not seem to have any control. The refs that are used are 100% biased, sadly the wonderful game of soccer cannot be played properly, accurately or fairly here.

If you love playing soccer year round, don't mind nets as boundaries, and get the opportunity to play at CFC, then read no further and just go and have fun. However, as a former player and now relegated to watching grandkids play, this place needs work, viewing games is awkward and a little dangerous, place is not the cleanest, and fields are a bit worn. Did not go into the bar as it is not located to allow serious watching of games, but I imagine it's a great plus for post game adult games.

Place is spacious and does what it's supposed to. Still some things could be improved:
•Only field 1 have a small set of bleachers. For a big group and the space available they can put at least another set so people can sit. In the meantime, bring your own chair.
•It's dusty everywhere (nets, signage, walls, etc) I understand it's a big, open sports arena but it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages.
• Heaters are not turned on even on a very cold February evening.

Overall it's a very good facility. I've been playing Indoor Soccer there since 2012. I've been fortunate enough to have won a Finals trophy there as well as a Runners Up trophy. Very good times, the Staff is generally nice and helpful. The only reason I didn't give it a higher rating is because of it's recent game calling. One Referee in particular named Golinski was terrible at officiating games, bad calls etc, players barely began to argue without saying anything disrespectful when they'd see a card shown to them just like that. Seems to me the officiating favored some teams only. But in other years the officiating was good though. The bar is great too!

I’ve been playing at CFC since I was in high school, now as an adult I do the pick up games on Wednesday nights and it’s always a blast, very affordable and competitive. CFC offers many programs for young kids and other age groups. Great to have a local place that loves the game of soccer !

If you are a parent or observer to watch a soccer game, there aren't any bleachers to watch a game. Standing room only. Leaning against the wall. Very disappointed in this recreation hall. Most other indoor soccer facilities provide bleachers to observe. The space that was available to view the games, the people were shooed out so it could be used for guests attending a birthday party.
Also, there wasn't much parking room. You had to park in the road. I hope that in future seasons the head of soccer teams will think twice about using this facilty.

Freezing cold in this facility. Staff at FD makes sure their nice and warm but they won’t turn on the heat for their customers. They’re worried if you have a mask on but yet facility’s upkeep is horrendous & not cleaned or sanitized. Not to mention they will not even turn on the heat to keep customers warm in the dead winter. Was asked to leave because I have a medical exemption to wear a mask yet was harassed despite I was not near anyone on the second floor overview and also despite I had my coat pulled up to my nose because it was so cold in the facility. I was singled out by the staff due to not wearing a mask yet other spectators and referees were also not wearing a mask or wearing it properly. Can’t understand why only I out of many others was the only one singled out for not having on a mask & subsequently asked to leave? Take your business elsewhere! Will not be returning.

This indoor soccer facility has two indoor fields, one of which has plenty of room for spectators on a second floor viewing area. There are tables and extra area tucked away in a few places. There is also a small bar and resturant within the facility, with limited choices, but is so convienant! My daughter trains and plays at this facility and I am very happy with her progress. Indoor soccer challanges her because it is faster paced than outdoor.

Very unfortunate experience this weekend at the Grappling Industries tournament. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Overflowing urinals, overflowing garbages. Sinks are falling off the wall and no soap at times. People had no choice but to walk in the human waste and then onto the field of play. I really hope there isn't a cholera outbreak.

This place has full of unprofessional and rude staff. Everyone consider themselves a manager and no one could help me with my situation. I got 2 unfair yellows, one during the game because I asked him to count the steps for the wall and one after the game because I told him, in my opinion you were bad. I'm sorry but who he thinks he is... we cannot express our opinion?
After the game I went to talk to the manager and explain the situation because I felt that was wrong and if they wouldn't resolve it, I would like to have my money back of the remaining games and I would not come again. He told me that he would try to resolve it and he would call me the next day. Nobody called me and when the day came for the next game I went to play hoping that they resolved it and the other manager, who was really rude and unprofessional, told me that I can't play. I said ok, I want to get my money back for the remaining games and he said we don't do refunds. I asked him to give me someone's info who is in charge so I can talk to and he was refusing to give me information. The stuff should be more professional. Also, they should understand that people pay to play and have fun, so they cannot give red cards because someone said something. I didn't get in a fight, I didn't swear anyone, I didn't kick anyone in purpose, so I don't understand what's the issue.
