90% of ellipticals are rusty, tv’s don’t work, I bought the multi use package thinking all of the gyms would be consistent like their competitors and was horribly surprised… No consistency whatsoever… Front desk staff was wonderful and mopping and cleaning, but the women’s locker room had empty toilet paper rolls and paper towel holder that was not working… I understanding from several people I spoke to while at the gym told me urinals were broken too… The gym needs an entire overhaul… Sorely disappointed as I now have to find a new gym within proximity to my office, Even though I just paid for two years and added the location, which is one mile away from Brookfield Club 24, which is why I added the gym… Note to self,, Make sure you visit before buying another location

The paper towel dispenser in the women’s locker room has been broken for months. I have personally complained about this numerous times, I do know other people who have complained about it as well. They give us a role of paper towels on the countertop to use, which is so incredibly unhygienic. Equipment is OK sometimes it does take a while to get fixed when things break.

This place does not care about it's customers they just want to get as much of your money as possible. My daughter canceled her membership in person because she is moving. They said she never came in and then charges her another yearly fee and continued to charge her card. I spoke to the manager and tried to explain the issue however he did not care and basically said too bad. Anyone who wants to stay in business should recognize that their customers should come first. What a shame that I have been a customer for 10 years, my daughter has been a customer for more than 4 years, my brother has been a customer for many years, and I have many friends who are customers. 🤮THE BILLING IS HORRIBLE!! Near impossible to cancel. Reported me late AFTER I canceled the membership. They reported to the credit reporting agencies all
while charging my “backup” credit card membership fees. After talking to them on the phone, I went in to the gym and was going to pay the $10.00 to close out the account. I was told by the manager I had to pay an additional 30 days (extortion) fees for the following month in order for my account to be closed.
Now I am getting emails telling me I am PAST DUE.
I am spending MY TIME calling credit card companies, filing disputes, writing the three credit reporting agencies to dispute. I am trying to get this resolves with the manager at Club 24. My account is being held hostage and unable to close while they charge my credit card and ding my credit!! This type of business practice should be illegal.

I had great time with Jason Hall as my coach. I learned the machines that were new to me & he definitely knew what he was talking about the entire time. It was great for my brain to learn new ways of working out. Definitely worked my muscles & muscle memory too! He also helped me with form which was great for me to not only learn, but for my muscles to learn. I recommend Jason as a trainer/coach to anyone, especially if you are finding trouble staying consistent in the gym or if you need that motivation/stamina back in tune.

I was a member of Club 24 from Fall of 2017 to Summer of 2021. I worked with multiple personal trainers throughout that time and learned a lot! I went into Club 24 not really know much about fitness and left feeling confident that no matter where I went I would be successful. I was sad to cancel but Club 24 made it easy. I became a member of this gym some 5+ years ago. I have not been to the gym in 3 years at least. Called two years ago to cancel my membership. The person on the phone said they’d take care of it for me. I find out now they never did by getting a bill from a collection agency. I guess my Amex expired so their recurring bills stopped on my account.

I tried calling them gym and got not help. They said well our contract states you must come in to cancel and mail in your request. Again after staff told me they would cancel. I was forced to pay the debt to the collection agency. Only $67 but this is purely about the principle. Keep in mind they have been billing me for years and I wasn’t even going to back and bothering to taking the time to argue it.

Even after all this I’m considered a member “possibly” they said they don’t know? That I still need to do a request to cancel. They even told me they need proof of my moving or that their isn’t a location nearby in order to cancel. What? It’s none of your business where people move or why they want to cancel. Completely terrible customer service. I own local businesses through the Connecticut area as well and this is no way to run a business.

I paid them their extortion money from threats by a debt collector to be done with it. Left my name and number for the owner Joe to call me.

I have been a member here for about 6 months and by far I attribute most of my progress to Club 24 Personal Training program. Specifically my trainer, Ronnie Dill, has been the greatest force that propelled me forward to achieve my goals and milestones. Just to name a few: I first stared with a single pull-up, 5 push-ups, 3 dips, and 135 lbs on the bench press. Now, I can do 8 pull-ups, 30 dips, 50 push-ups and my most recent bench press max is 225 lbs! The numbers speak for themselves, and while it took a lot of hard work I could not have done it without Ronnie and his never ending stream of motivation, his constant ability to keep my work-outs different, interesting and challenging. I have since lost 15 lbs, my cholesterol is back to normal levels and my friends and family have noticed the positive change. Thanks Ronnie for helping me on this journey and getting me back into shape! #RDM

So I went to Club 24 in Brookfield like eight years ago for some time. I ended up cancelling due to moving out of state. They continued to charge me no matter what I did including letters from a Lawyer,calling etc. A few months back I made a comment on a promoted facebook post voicing the issue. Next thing I know they put me into collections for $175 fraudulently. This was quickly resolved thankfully by aCredit Karma dispute but beware, this company is a joke and extremely unprofessional.

Club 24 is owned by Edward fogarty Jr in case anybody was curious to know. Club24 does have run down equipment and yes they did replace a couple machines such as treadmills recently but the treadmills earphone jack are a new 3.5 mm and does not fit standard application headphones. Most headphones are still 2.5mm.

They do however go through staff like crazy and if you ask trainers straight up if they like the place they will say that they are paid better at other places. The showers are run-down they have not been upgraded as well as the locker rooms.

Club 24 recently started with their members to have fingerprints on file so that you can scan in using your fingerprint. But then they also want your photo as well and a copy of your ID.
One must question thyself why do you need such security measures at this place is it not the White House or am I mistaken?

There are plenty of other gyms that do not require photos nor do they require fingerprints.

I challenged the owner to leave their phone number on here with their name so that anybody else who has a problem can contact them directly.

Not just a "gm" who is bias about their gym with pressure from the regional directors to op membership and lower operating cost.

On October 16, 2017 I signed a contract with the Club 24 Brookfield location to have Kevin Barbosa as a personal trainer. It started out great and he was flexible with my schedule, and created a meal plan for me. Unfortunately, he left the facility and I was forced to start at square one with a new trainer. I then began working with Emily this was disruptive to my progress and it was clear that my history from working with Kevin was not communicated to Emily or other staff at Club 24. I then requested to be assigned a new trainer, and started with Phil on November 29th. Another disruption to my progress and the need to start at square one again. I found Phil difficult to work with as we could not agree on a schedule. Due to conflicts with Phil, I then began working with Johanna. By this time I almost completed my 6 months that I initially signed for and had gave them my 30 day notice that I was done with the personal training, little did I know they kept charging month after Month. They've tried to say I never canceled even though my contract was only for 6 months. I've literally have had to change credit card number claim these people as fraud and they still call trying to collect money. Please be careful and don't sign up to with this gym you will be ROBBED there a scam, i wasn't going to write this review but because these people are such scam artist that when I tried to pay my $20 gym membership online, in writing it says on online that it's a one time fee but they manage to re process my card and put $300! 0 stars biggest scam!!!!

I was a member for 4 years before I tried the personal training classes and 5 months into it I took a job that enabled me to leave the area. My membership was canceled but they still kept charging me for the personal training. They wouldn't refund my 85 when they told me they cancelled all of my accounts. Luckily they cancelled it but I can tell they aren't very honest people and I believe it when customers say they have lost $1000 on their senseless plans they offer. Best way to do it is grab a friend and workout together on a consistent plan and you'll see more results. I was a loyal customer for 4 years before and this is how they treat their customers. Great place to work out. All of the staff will know you by name. Very supportive and friendly. Gym is clean and well maintained. Membership price is budget friendly.

The brookfield location is good as far as the gym equipment and the size. Managers are horrible people. Won't let you cancel your membership without extreme hassle. Will never stop calling you for training. Ever.

The gym is very well maintained and the staff is friendly. However, i had a very negative experience with the Personal training package. I saw a sign with advertisement for 10 sessions for $329, around christmas. I was interested in trying it out so i enquired. We agreed that i should do around 12 sessions (around $400) and then go from there.

They told me they would charge me $148 every 2 weeks for it. However, after i signed the contract and started getting billed, i realized that the contract i signed really meant 12 payments of $148 every 2 weeks, (almost $1800). I thought i was signing up for 12 sessions, not 12 payments of $148 each!!!! Even though i signed the contract (and didn't read it properly), i believe i was completely misled and when i asked them they simply told me that "I had signed the contract". To cut my losses, i paid $265 to cancel and will continue to be charged for another month. So in all, i would have paid $1000 to get out of something i never agreed to in the first place.

So, if you want to sign up for Personal Training session, dont fall for the hype, take your time and READ THE CONTRACT VERY VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING.

Cheats! Even after you cancel the membership they charge you each month until you notice. When you do notice they say you have to pay then balance first, we can’t do anything about it.

KAREN the zumba instructor was incredibly RUDE to me. I will never return to her class Zumba is supposed to be an inclusive and welcoming environment and she publicly embarrassed me I LEFT THE CLASS IN TEARS. As a certified instructor myself, I cannot imagine ever treating another human being let alone a student as she treated me. Further, she fails to follow key aspects of the Zumba formula and is often off beat, these aspects I ignored until she literally made me feel less than human.

Front desk staff is kind and welcoming and this review is no reflection on them.
