DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PHONE NUMBER. I have been called 2-3 times a day regarding signing up for a membership. I called them and politely and respectfully asked them to remove my number as I had moved out of the state. They then called me again fifteen minutes later for a black Friday special. I called them back AGAIN explaining that I would like my name removed. They have since called me at least three times over the last two days since the final phone call from numerous different numbers. Absolutely insane.

There are lots of things I like about this gym, but there are some things that need to be improved. Iโll start with some things I like.
The new location is great and is a major improvement from the previous one. Itโs very spacious and looks pretty awesome. There is a large turf that I find myself on a lot.
The nautilus machines are very smooth and are very nice pieces of equipment. Lots of new machines and useful equipment that would get the majority of people by. Plenty of machines in general in my opinion and clearly an effort to get more useful equipment.
Plenty of cardio equipment. The new treadmills are very nice and even go up to a 20 percent incline which is a first for me.
The price is great and is usually pretty clean.
The staff is friendly and always treats me respectfully.
My biggest concern is the organization. There is no effort from members to put plates and equipment back where they belong and no effort from staff to correct this. There direly needs to be at least double the weight trees for the plates to go back to when not in use because there isnโt enough space. People put plates all over the place and when they do put them back, theyโre usually not on the correct arm. The squat racks could really use this organization (just bumper plates should be here). Iโd really like to see effort from staff in showing the correct placement for everything and especially the plates. Iโd like to see more indicators for proper etiquette.
My other concern is the wipes. I find they often donโt really work that well and you have to use more than one to adequately clean equipment. They are usually very dry and feel like dryer sheets. I think people would use less wipes if the wipes were better quality.
If this place organized their equipment better and established more ground rules regarding that (and gym etiquette in general), that alone will move my rating to five stars. Itโs a nice gym, but this is huge for me and I hear a lot of other people complain about it too. Itโs definitely the most common complaint among people with proper etiquette. I will change my rating to five stars it if I see these changes. I hope to hear back from you guys. Thanks.

If I could Iโd leave zero stars but it wonโt let you post. Would never recommend. We had requested to cancel the membership but they just never did and continued to charge us. Took multiple calls and even after it was supposedly fixed I got charged. NEVER would recommend. Youโre better off financially if u work out from home. Amazon has cheap weights that will do just fine and wonโt continuously charge you for said weights.

Club24 is a great gym! I love that itโs open 24/7, which makes it easy to get my 5am workouts in before work. The mornings are never crowded, which is exactly how I like it. The gym and locker rooms are always clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly whenever I do see them (even though I usually go outside of staffed hours). A couple of small things could be improved, like adding a dongle for the lightning cable so members can play music instead of the gym being totally silent, and doing a better job monitoring tailgating since Iโve gotten a few emails about it despite never letting anyone in. Overall though, itโs an awesome place to train and Iโm really happy with it!

Hmmm let me think, where should I start? Oh I know! Let me start by saying how the staff SUCKS! Very passive aggressive, harassed my friend who is a very shy, Huge egos, with little knowledge of company policy. And they do NOT know how to keep the place well kept. Holes in the walls, weird stains on the equipment, one of the machines i used was broken. But wait I have more for you potential customers.
besides that I noticed that there was an extra charge to my bank account. Which had no explanation behind said charge. I took my bank statements, went in person, PRESENTED MY BANK STATEMENTS TOO THE INCOMPETENT STAFF, and they had the audacity to say they don't see any extra charges on my account. the gaslighting from a business like this is appalling! But im not dumb! That was the exact reason for my cancelation. They were siphoning money out of my account.
So the next day I proceeded to go IN PERSON to attempt to cancel my account but was told that i need to send an email to their support team. Which is exactly what I did, following the instructions of the staff. Basically what I got from their support team was that I need to pay off a handful of past due payments, as I changed my bank account. That was fine.
The next day, I called up there to rectify it so I can proceed with my cancelation. I payed 52 dollars and some change in late fees. The lady I was on the phone with went through the cancelation process with me on the phone after taking my information.
according to newtown cancelations can't be held over the phone.
Okay so why did one of the managers that i was on the phone with held my cancelation process over the phone instead of informing me it needed to be done in person or via email? Purposefully withholding information from me. That's great business ethics.
I payed off my debt, she says that after a 30 day trial my account will be canceled. WHAT SHE DIDNT MENTION was that I would be charged for those 30 days. 10.98 i was charged for 30 days
According to newtown's club 24 management, the payment are bi-weekly. So that should've been the same policy for the new milford location they said.
So let's do some math! Shall we? If the payments are bi-weekly and one month is generally 4 and a half weeks, THEN THERE SHOULDVE BEEN AT LEAST A MINIMUM OF TWO PAYMENTS FOR THAT 30 DAYS!!!! BUT 6 PAYMENTS? oh you robbed me, but best belive I'm getting my money back AND THEN SOME after the serious claim I made with my bank and the police report I made against this business.
so after I payed for the 30 days GO FIGURE the cancelation did not go through. So what exactly were those payments for? You guys really tried it thinking I wouldn't notice. And mind you this is after the manger told me that after the 30 days I will no longer be a member.
Yesterday, while I was working for my hard earned money that they so desperately want and will not get! Their firm had the audacity to send me an email saying I owed them 172 dollars and some change?!?!?!?!
Excuse me? You're not getting that money! Not sorry, matter of fact at this point this establishment owes me money. I am owed a reimbursement for the fact you couldn't fall through with your part of the agreement of canceling my account after you said I would no longer be a member AFTER I payed for the 30 days before the cancelation was complete.
Which i did. I followed your policies, even though you guys have been very dishonest and withheld information and guidelines from me. And I KNOW this to be true because the management in newtown under the same company was very honest and direct, even admitted to me that this location (new milford) has the worst reputation. Hmm isn't that funny, you guys are representing a brand and do a poor job doing just that.
I write this review for anybody who wants to join. This is my warning to you, please whatever you do. Dont get yourself into this crock of a gym. The positive reviews are from people that were promised discounts and extra benefits. Isn't that so pathetic? A bunch of scamers! You will be dealt with. THANK YOU!

I've been going to this gym for 3 years and it's a great gym. It could improve a few things such as the occasional smell in the bathroom lol but other than that staff is great equipment is available and clean.

I cancelled my membership back in May with planet fitness, because I had a free pass to the new location in new Milford and immediately fell in love with the space and equipment. I immediately switched over and signed up for this location. The staff is friendly, and the gym is perfect. With All that I wouldโve made this a 5 star review, but since June there AC has been broken, which makes it very unsafe to workout, I can hardly breath when Iโm in there. The heat is terrible, and they got it fixed to which it immediately broke a couple days after, I think as a business and having a new location and promoting more people to join. You SHOULD accommodate and reimburse a lot of your members seeing that I, and many of my friends have had to stop coming in due to the extreme heat. Itโs impossible to get a good workout in, because you walk in and immediately start sweating. I got charged my annual fee, and I canโt even go to the gym as much as Iโd like. Which is unfair to the members who are paying full price for an an environment thatโs now becoming unsafe to anyone with asthma or any health issue. Please take that into consideration, I understand the frustration of wanting more people to come to the gym and refer there friends. But this should be addressed. Yes itโs normal to sweat at the gym , but it isnโt normal to put hardly any effort into a workout and still be unable to breathe. My heart rate has been even more increased during my workouts. Which I know is a result to it being 90 degrees in there with NO AC

I like that Club 24 is always clean and the members greet you when you come in, which creates a welcoming atmosphere. Also wanted to mention the professionalism of Antony which is a personal trainer there. I had to have an evaluation done for my military training and Antony made sure I had it done right the way. Do not sign up for Club 24, they will never allow you to leave. It'll cost you the blood of your first born just to leave.
I've gone in person, I've gone online to cancel just to find out I've been misled multiple times on how to cancel. Either everyone's grossly incompetent, or they're deliberately trying to scam more money out of you.
This is a theme you will see if you check any of their reviews across different websites.
Save yourself the hassle, and money.

Ahead of the offer to cancel my membership by providing proof of move, I was told on the phone I would need to come in, in person. I wasn't told to bring any proof of move. Then when I was in person, I was told to go ahead and try online (spoiler, wasn't able to). I then called again and this is when I received one email from the team explaining how to cancel. This email was subsequently sent.
My membership had been renewed without any notice even though there's a clear attempt to cancel my account (another scheme to siphon money).
I've also somehow at the same time received messages telling me I have passed due bills and owe them money.
Since then, I've started a new email chain to cancel my membership, making it very clear I've moved away and very much am fed up and would like to cancel my membership. As a last ditch effort to scam more money out of me, they offered to freeze my account rather than go ahead and cancel.
This gym's methods to keep you hooked to their money siphoning machine is disgusting.

Originally, I had written a very good review for this gym. Unfortunately their business model is horrible. My membership stated that I could bring a guest for free everyday. My friend was HARASSED by the front desk every single time I brought her. They held us there for 20 minutes at one point, trying to โconvinceโ her to get a membership for herself. We kindly declined it every time, MULTIPLE TIMES because I had a free guest pass with my card. I understand that the front desk probably runs on commission or something, but ONE no should be all that is needed. I was disgusted by this gym after that. My friend no longer wanted to go and at that point I didnโt want them to have my membership either. Go to Iron Factory.
RESPONSE TO CLUB 24 RESPONSE: No, I have not been a member there for a very long time. If you had read my current review properly, youโd understand that I had originally written a good review, until the described events took place. My friend was harassed, no if and or buts. We were held at the front desk for 20 minutes, BLOCKED by the staff as he harassed her. I do not currently have a gym membership with anyone near your location and my review was not asked for by another business. It is disgusting to claim any bad reviews are due to outside influences, rather than thinking about what your business could improve on and how it has wronged its customers. Your response has made it clear that your gym and its model have not improved since my membership.

What a fantastic work out session with Justin! Incredible! He promised me that I would sweat and I did. I knew I needed to work harder to get fit and Justin was a great teacher, coach, nurturer. I look forward to working with him again. I want to be a 75 year old cat woman as in the Batman series.

Nice gym for the price. It has all the equipment you need and is never so crowded that you have to wait your turn. Cost management seems apparent as some of the equipment is older and broken without being fixed. The new sanitary โtake only oneโ towelette to clean the equipment after use is very annoying as one is always dry and tiny so you have to take more. The number of sanitary stations have been reduced which makes one having to chase the towelettes throughout the gym. Overall a good deal for what you get.

New Milford location : The cable row machine is not working correctly. The stopper at the very top of the weight stack poles, on the both sides, is pushed up too high and it is pressed against the pulley. This is causing the track to be bowed out making the weights get stuck and not slide smoothly. Asked the staff 2 MONTHS AGO. nothing has been done to correct it. It's literally 4 hex screws that need to be loosened, adjusted, then tightened. Absurd is still not fixed. Bolts on the Bench press rack are constantly loose and the entire thing rocks back and forth. Staff say they can't fix it on their own and have to put in a work order with their maintenance. They are hex screws, just tighten them.

Fraudulent behavior and business practices, Billing and auto pay is a nightmare, they will not close my account and keep charging me late fees after many calls and visits they will not freeze my account . you get nowhere with accounting and the local counter people will not give you a upper management contact . Keep in mind I did not have a contract and was month to month . My credit card expired and they never contacted me and charger me late fees after late fee No emails no calls , I have been a member for years and this is how I have been treated ??This is poor business practice to keep charging me fees when I want to cancel my account and canโt !This canโt be legal . Make sure you carefully read over the cancellation policy, they are trying to pinch every single penny out of you they can. The store and staff also lie to you. I had called and tried to cancel a year ago, and I was told I was all set only the find out once I got a new card that it actually never was canceled. Don't trust this gym.
When I signed up I paid extra to not have any kind of binding contract or cancellation fee as I knew we were moving in the next year.
When we finally did go to move, I visited Club 24 and was informed by email that I would be charged for my next month's payment.
This is ridiculous! It's not a lot of money (~$12), but it left a very bad taste in my mouth.
I emailed the management and was told that the 30 day cancellation period was in the contract and I had every right to not sign the contract, or cancel within 3 days of signing. THE CANCELLATION PORTION OF THE CONTRACT HAS OVER 1800 WORDS.
Planet fitness has a 7 day cancellation policy - there is no reason your gym cannot have a similar contract.
Do yourselves a favor and go with a gym that cares about you as a customer, not one that is trying to squeeze every penny out of you.

Lacking in diversity of activities. There should be yoga and tai chi classes offered. There is a latin dance exercise class offered but more is needed.
There should be atleast four punching bags in the gym to work out on and lose weight. The recommendations would attract more people.
If they really want to take it to the next level. With all the space the facility has they could install a MMA cage and invite guest trainers which would be fun.
Lot of potential but boring. Seems geared towards soccer moms.

Iโve been coming here about 5 years now and imo itโs top notch gym thatโs super affordable here in the NM area. Itโs accommodating to all fitness levels and ages. Staff has always given off positive energy/attitude that motivates and keeps the place super clean and supplied. The recent equipment upgrades are so key. Iโve managed other gyms before and imo Club 24 is the place to go to get your pump on no matter what your schedule is.

My experience has been great. The staff is very friendly, attentive and maintain a very nice facility. In the short time that Iโve been a member, the gym has brought in new equipment and organized the equipment in the gym efficiently in the space in order to reduce wait times. Iโve also signed up for private trainer sessions and my trainer Yerson has been fantastic. Iโve made a lot of progress on my goals thanks to him.

I could not use any of the free weights because there were a group of people keeping them to themselves.
The gym is not diverse in sports activities. There should be atleast three mau tai or heavy punching bags to make things diverse.
They should have a MMA cage setup with popular host trainers.

I like the gym because it has a lot of equipment, so I donโt have to wait or be next to someone. I love watching the movies on the treadmill, but they keep the room dangerously dark. One of the kid workers came in when I was the only one in there and made it even darker. Seriously, itโs too dark.

I started at Club 24 June 2021 and lasted until July 2022 when I decided I needed a change.
Pros: You can't beat the price. I paid the top tier rate so that I could bring a guest whenever I wanted. Just note if you do bring a guest the staff at the desk will constantly ask the guest to join. I realize theyโre just doing their job.
The gym is big and there should be enough equipment for everyone.
Very convenient hours.
Cons:
For months the women's toilets would leak all over the floor. It would be cleaned up with a mop however not once when I was there did I see the staff clean up the leak with disinfectant. So, we would be in the bathroom then walking all over the gym with our toilet water sneakers.
Before I finally decided to leave, 2 of the 3 women's stalls had "out of order" signs on them for over 2 months. Several times I really needed to use the bathroom and the only stall was being used. Women are NOT men. We need our stalls.
Bathroom area is really sad and depressing. Plus if a man accidentally walks in,(I've seen it happen) it's wide open and there is no privacy for a woman that might be changing.
There is one tiny closet like room that is lacking a mirror to change in.
This is not a gym one would want to get ready for work in after a workout. In no way does it cater to women.
The push button on the water fountain was broken and was never fixed. A sloppy, hand written sign notified you it was broken.
There were only 2 upright bikes and both of them had seats that were partially peeled away. This was a problem because the only thing I used at the gym was the upright bike.
Although nice, the gym is largely run by teenagers.
Several times when I went in after work the music was so loud and so foul I had to complain.
No one wants to hear the F-bomb 17 times or hear grotesque songs about licking body parts. I'm not even joking here. There were pre-teens and elderly in the gym and this is the music that was blaring from the speakers.
When the Zumba class would start, their music would be fighting for space with the gym's music. I wear noise cancelling headphones and I could still clearly hear both.
At the time when I needed an affordable gym it fit the bill. However, now that I'm a bonified exerciser, I decided to go elsewhere and pay a little bit more to a gym that values women and knows the little extras count.

The place is shaping up lately. I think a management change had occurred. Good value for the cost of membership.
I'd give a higher rating and more praise if they bring in a couple of rowing machines. They have plenty of ellipticals, bikes and treadmills but are missing a cardio machine that I love the most. Great whole body workout with minimal impact.

I canceled my membership over a year prior to them beginning to blow my phone up with texts and calls. I canceled in person and my card expired 7 months later. They waited from April till the end of august to wait to send me to collections. I paid for 8 months after canceling and they still tried to bill me.

I would never get a membership to this gym again. They have a ton of weird loophole fees that will catch you off guard, then when you go to cancel your membership without there being a fee for canceling, they charge you an extra month of membership until your account is actually โclosedโ even though you canceled your membership

2 months ago I went to club 24 in New Milford and they had 2 toilets not working. And this past Monday I went back there and the same signs were on the bathroom door saying that those 2 toilets weren't working. One of them is a handicap toilet.
How can 2 toilets be more than 2 months without maintenance so it can be used.
We have to stand in line to use the only working toilet in the women's bathroom.
Can the owner of the gym give a little care and understanding please
