Paul is one of the best trainers I have ever worked with. He emphasizes form and safety while encouraging people to push themselves safely. He understands and works with limitations, I have arthritis and a bad disc. Paul knows how to work all of the muscles while not aggravating those. My posture and strength have both improved. It is not a competitive gym, the people there are friendly and encourage each other. Everyone does what they are capable of. All of the trainers who work there explain the exercises and demonstrate when needed. While we are working hard, we also have fun.

Fantastic place! My 12 year old daughter loves the fitness class. Coach Paul is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Classes are affordable and they are seemingly open for class all the time, even when school is closed. 5 stars!!

Great place! My 12 year old joined the youth barbell club last fall and he enjoys training with Paul. I no longer need to convince him that excercise is good for him...he loves going without hesitation!

CT Fitness Lab is a great place to work out! I have been training with Paul for the past 7 years. He consistently challenges his clients to increase their level of fitness while making sure that he accommodates his clientsβ injuries or challenges. His colleague, Robin, not only teaches yoga, but is awesome at working with clients to make sure that they understand their fitness program and perform exercises correctly. They are a great team! If you want a gym that combines increased fitness with a fun and friendly atmosphere, this is the place for you!!

First started with my kids doing combo of semi privates and groups with Paul. Having of the benefit of watching their progress, I signed up. Iβm in month two and enjoying just feeling and moving better. Workouts are tailored to your needs and are good balance of making you work but not dreading your return trip.

What makes FitLab better than a conventional gym are the personalized workout programs designed by Paul, and the fun and inviting atmosphere created by Paul and all his clients. Everyone is very encouraging and itβs a great environment to workout in.

My wife Michelle and I suffer from OA & RA Arthritis and both have several other health issues. We have had the pleasure of working with Paul for 10 years and are happy to say that The CT Fitness Lab program has given us a whole new awareness of our bodies! I canβt recommend Paul enough.. I began working out with Paul when he was part of the Moore Center. After all those years he continues to build creative new exercise routines integrating strength, cardio and stretching. He helped me recover from two surgeries and the PTs were always impressed with the unique exercises he incorporates post surgery. In this new space he is growing a friendly community of folks who are serious about fitness while still keeping things loose and having fun.

Paul creates highly personalized, function-oriented workouts that are always the right amount of challenging and never, ever boring. The gym has a welcoming, community-like feel (kind of like Cheers with TRX and barbells rather than beer).
