Elias Sports Performance is a premiere personal training gym dedicated to serving athletes and adults in the Glastonbury, Connecticut area by optimizing physical fitness in a fun-filled, judgment-free environment welcoming all levels of fitness.
ESP's athletic development program is designed to improve strength, power, speed, agility, flexibly/mobility, and injury prevention. Our coaching staff is comprised of former D1 strength and conditioning coaches and athletes that know what it takes to be elite!
Our adult functional strength and conditioning program is designed to build strength, and improve movement quality for every day life and activity for adults ages 40+.
From Day 1 to D1, ESP is training built for you.

My kids, 11 & 13 always look forward to coming to Elias and are always excited to tell me about how much they improved this week on each of the lifts, jumps, runs and carries they do. Playing soccer, they are faster and stronger, and more resilient (last year before Elias, my daughter consistently complained about ankles hurting after soccer, this year she hasn't had a problem). Finally, i really appreciate that they are learning to safely lift heavy weights and will be comfortable in any gym they walk into in the future.

I absolutely love this gym. It has an intimate, welcoming atmosphere that never feels intimidating, even if you’re new to working out. The smaller group sessions give you that personal-trainer experience without being overwhelming or crowded.
The trainers are incredible, they’re constantly watching your form, correcting you, and giving modifications whenever you need them. It really feels like they’re invested in your progress and safety. Every workout is challenging in the best way, but always doable because the coaches meet you exactly where you are.
If you want a gym that feels supportive, personalized, and motivating, Elias Sports Performance is the place. I can’t recommend it enough!

I’m completely out of shape. I’ve been going to Elias for 1 month and can see incremental improvements each session. This program is working for me because the trainers are accommodating, approachable, and a complete feel of inclusiveness even when I’m falling behind the others.

I was never a “gym person” aka never actually been to a gym in my life. Fitness to me was carrying all my grocery bags in one trip. Yet somehow Elias Sports Performance has tricked me into showing up regularly — and even doing things like box jumps and deadlifts! Who am I?!
The small classes (largest class I’ve ever been to was 7 people!) make it feel personal without being awkward. The coaches actually coach — they’ll tweak things so you can keep up or push harder, depending on how ambitious (or tired) you’re feeling that day. They genuinely pay attention — so much so that my coach even plays Taylor Swift when I walk in. If that’s not personal training, I don’t know what is.
I still don’t love working out, but I love coming here — and honestly, that’s half the battle won.

I can’t say enough good things about Elias Sports Performance and working with my coach, Harrison. From the very first session the facility impressed me: it’s clean, well-organized, and clearly set up for high-level training. Every piece of equipment is maintained, the space feels safe and professional, and the overall vibe motivates you to push yourself.
Harrison has been outstanding — he’s attentive, knowledgeable, and always sets me up with workouts that challenge me every session. He tailors everything to the sport(s) I play (and the goals I’m aiming for) so that the training isn’t just “get stronger,” it’s “get stronger in a way that translates onto the field/court.” I can genuinely feel the difference in my speed, agility and overall performance have improved significantly since I started training here.
What really stands out is how the workouts at Elias aren’t just isolated gym drills — they connect directly to how you move, react, and perform in real-life competition. I walk out of every session feeling stronger, more confident, and more prepared for game day. If you’re serious about leveling up your game and want a clean, high-quality environment with a top-tier coach, this place is it. Highly recommend.

Harrison and his team at Elias are simply the best! Very knowledgeable, motivating, and great with the kids. They keep track of performance and growth, ensure that the kids learn proper form and technique, and know how to challenge the kids to do their best. My son is not hugely into a variety of sports. Strength & conditioning classes at Elias keep him strong and ready for wrestling season as well as keeping him active year round. His confidence and strength have grown immensely in just a few months. I STRONGLY recommend these classes for any child. Even kids who aren't particularly into sports need to understand the value of being active and strong but the edge it gives in sports is so valuable.

In my 44th year I was broken and beaten weighing nearly 340 lbs. No idea how to work out and little hope that things will improve! Than I came to ESP and everything changed! The staff are amazing, as so are the other fellow members they actually care about your goals and now I weigh 200 lbs. Working on building my body up to achieve strength I've never had before and I did this with ESP staff members guiding me every step of the way! I'm currently 45 years old but feel like I gained 20 years of my life back in a short amount of time! If you have trouble getting going, or know that you need or missing something in your life, ESP could be what your looking for! My 2 boys (11 yo & 12 yo) have been attending Elias Fitness for a little over a year. They enjoy the small group sessions with friends and love tracking growth over time as they document performance and personal records in each class. Classes focus on strength, speed and agility. As a parent, I appreciate that they are learning to lift weights with proper technique and are learning how to target different muscle groups. This is a well rounded fitness experience!

I really enjoy attending the 45 minute adult classes a few times a week! The coaches are fantastic and encourage each person in the class to do their best for each exercise. They provide guidance on how to properly do the exercises to make sure you get the most out of it. My son just started the Youth Training classes and is learning so much about lifting weights and a variety of exercises.

I started Elias in 03/2025. My son joined gym last year. It is first kind of gym which offers training to youth. I appreciate tremendous growth in my son physique and endurance. All coaches are awesome including Harrison, CJ, Anastasia and Cara. If I talk about cost, yes it is little bit costlier for youth but it is totally worth it.

Everyone at Elias wants you to meet your goals!
