Wonderful place to start your dance journey! I had my first dance lesson here and it changed me positively in so many ways, not just become healthier physically but also mentally. Dance can help you re-establish your self esteem and confidence, and the dance family is there to help you along the way. All instructors here are very professional and great at teaching, their patience and encouragement guide you to the next level of your goal. My teacher Vasyl and his partner Kristina are amazing teachers who taught me so much! They really transformed me from someone had no dancing experience to confidently competed on national completion dance floor and won first place within two and half years. So happy I decided to give dance a try at FA Glastonbury studio

My fiancé and I have been taking dance lessons at Fred Astaire with Khrystyna and we’ve absolutely loved the experience. This dance studio is amazing. I've been a student for 3 years. The instructors are not only exceptionally skilled but also warm, caring, and attentive to each dancer’s needs. Whether you're a complete beginner or someone with experience looking to refine technique, they tailor the lessons to your goals.
You can take private lessons alone or with a partner. Plus, private lessons include free access to group classes and dance parties. Highly recommend to anyone who loves to dance!

Wonderful! Fun! Exciting! and most of all Welcoming! These are some of the words I have used to describe Fred Astaire in Glastonbury. The instructors and owners are patient, fun, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend for a short term change in routine or a long term experience.

My husband and I bought a package for our 20th anniversary with very limited prior experience. Each time we go, we thoroughly enjoy learning and polishing different dances. We started with a basic package and enjoyed it so much we are continuing to take lessons. They have private and group lessons along with some social events. All ages and physical levels dance with a smile here. I hope you try it and have as much fun as we do.

After a serious depression during ten years of breast cancer treatment, I pushed my beat up body to do Pilates. My Pilates teacher told me about Fred Astaire in Glastonbury…after three years, I have learned so much!!! At 64, you CAN TEACH AN OLD DOG!!! So fun too!

I started dancing at this studio two years ago as a complete beginner and I can now honestly say it’s been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. I was pretty nervous to try it without a partner, but the professional instructors made me feel really comfortable and helped me improve so quickly. What began as a fun way to explore a new hobby has turned into a major source of joy, confidence, and personal growth for me—both physically and mentally. The supportive community of students and staff make every visit something I genuinely look forward to.

I also have to give a huge shoutout to my teacher, Vasya. His passion for dance and commitment to his students is truly inspiring. Every lesson is encouraging and he challenges me to reach my fullest potential. I feel incredibly fortunate to have a coach who is so dedicated to my progress.

My fiancé and I took an intro class to see if we would want to learn ballroom for our wedding. I can honestly say that the atmosphere with both teachers and other students made us feel so comfortable continuing! Going in with no dance experience, we’ve learned so many different styles and improved so fast. The other instructors are also incredible, and there are group classes you can take where you learn from not only your teacher, but the rest of them as well. Amazing studio with top-notch teachers. I walked into this location almost a year and a half ago knowing nothing about ballroom dancing. Sasha was the instructor I was paired up with. He took me under his wing and guided me in learning so much in such a relatively short period of time. I highly recommend the rest of the FADS Glastonbury and West Hartford crew that I have had the honor of learning from: Vasya, Khrystina, Volodya, Natasha, Christina, Alex, Katya, and Sergey. All of them are truly fabulous. There was a period of time that I had to pause lessons and the owner reached out to me and invited me to still come to group classes even though I was not enrolled in a lesson package at the time. It is actions such as these that really make difference. ❤️

I have always struggled with dancing socially. I am clumsy and never had any formal instruction. However, my wife really wanted to try some dance lessons and I'm always willing to try something once. I am incredibly happy we did. Kristina has been a fantastic teacher and made this a fun experience. She is so warm and patient. It's let my wife and I gain confidence and truly enjoy dancing together. It went from what the heck lets give it a try it, to we want to do this for years to come. I highly recommend this studio.

This afternoon I had two private dance lessons with two instructors, Kristina who is lovely, patient, and sweet, and brought me through the swing and cha cha, and the other instructor, new to the studio, Natasha who is fun and vibrant and got me going through the tango and bachata. Every instructor at this studio inspires me by their dedication to their craft. Bravo!

After attending a guest party and taking a few introductory lessons at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Glastonbury, my husband and I enrolled in their beginners program. We were both interested in learning to dance in order to feel comfortable at weddings and parties, however we were a little hesitant due to our lack of experience. The instructors very quickly put us at ease, were very encouraging and made each lesson fun, yet challenging. As professional dancers they all love to dance and enjoy transferring their love for the art of dancing to novice dancers. The atmosphere at the studio is very friendly and welcoming. After a year and a half of participating in lessons, group classes and dance parties we are feeling much more comfortable and confident in several different smooth and rhythm dances, including waltz, fox trot, tango, rumba, swing and cha-cha! If you have an interest in learning ballroom dance, the Fres Astaire Dance Studio in Glastonbury is where you want to go!

I can't say enough great things about this studio. My husband and I started dancing there 2 years ago. We were hooked instantly.The atmosphere is always upbeat and fun. As active members, we look forward to the free group lessons offered every week night, as well as, the free social dance parties every Friday night.
