My elderly father used to dance with my mom before she passed away. I thought getting him back into dancing would be good for his balance, memory, and fitness. He loves it! Daria is so sweet and patient. We love our weekly lessons!

I absolutely love the studio and the instructor's. It is a super friendly environment, and it is fun getting to know the other students. I thought I would have the 30 minute introductory lesson, and then be done with it. I was wrong! Now I go 4-5 days every week.

I've finally found a dance studio that I can call home. I'm soooo lucky that it is only 15 minutes from home, Madison -versus and hour which I had been doing 3 times a week! ( the gas expenditure alone was huge!)
There is so much about the studio that I love - the huge dance floor which is great for practicing smooth /standard (waltz, tango, foxtrot, viennese waltz), the wonderful facility complete with dressing room, showers with a place to leave your belongings during your lesson, and the topnotch, creative way the studio is always decorated for each holiday/ happening ( ex: Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Valentine Day, New Year Party, Ukrainian Day). The instructors are wonderful at putting in hours of preparation for just the right decor under the masterful tutelage of our AMAZING Paulo!!! Plus, the fact that there is a practice party every Friday to do just that- practice what you have learned during the week.

The instructors and students that are a part of this studio are so much fun! Every instructor is an accomplished dancer having danced his/her entire life. You need only to watch one recording of their professional dancing career to know you are in the best studio to become the best dancer you can be. I never thought I could be the caliber of dancer I have become after taking lessons for one year with Denys, plus Khrystyna and Christian for coaching. In addition, Daria and Dmytro are my go to for moving my body in directions I never knew I could.

Awesome instructors! I love Denys and Khrystyna! Have been dancing here since it opened! The studio is beautiful and comfortable! I was originally dancing at the old Saybrook studio also owned by Christian and Paulo. I have been dancing since seventh grade and I am now a sophomore in college. I love all the events and all the people. The ballroom community is truly amazing.

They have a spacious dance floor and excellent instructors and coaches. I have really been impressed by the effort expended by my teachers outside of the classes to evaluate my dancing and develop ways of improving it. I love dancing at Fred Astaire in Madison! The studio is beautiful: spacious, airy and sunlit. The owners and instructors make their students feel welcome and the vibe is elegant, yet fun and lighthearted at the same time. There is no judgement if you’re a beginner or you feel like you have two left feet because the instructors and other students are warm and encouraging. I’ve also had the pleasure of seeing wedding couples learning a first dance and watching their progress and confidence grow. I started dancing for exercise and creative expression but there have been other benefits: the pride of accomplishment, the feeling of freedom as the stress of the day completely disappears, and the utter joy I feel on the dance floor. Am I Dancing With the Stars material? Nope, but Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Madison makes me feel like I am!

Dancing at Fred Astaire in Madison has been one of the best times in my life. As someone who has been doing ballroom for over a decade, Denys is able to keep me moving and grooving and works really hard to still help me grow as a dancer. Fred Astaire’s in Madison is a wonderful Dance Studio. I recommend it for all ages and types. Whether you’re family, friends, or romantic partners, there is a place for you here. If you believe you have two left feet, the instructors here in Madison will give you a pair of right ones to match. All of the staff members are incredibly funny, patient, and friendly. They also speak multiple languages, including: Ukrainian, German, Portuguese, English, and Spanish. The Studio Space is expansive and bright, and it is commonly decorated for their Dance Party events—an opportunity for students to practice their skills and socialize without pressure. The staff aren’t the only ones making Fred Astaire’s Madison Studio my first choice, but the other students as well. My Fiancé and I transferred from Old Saybrook to this beautiful studio in Madison. We have been taking lessons with Khrystyna and Denys for three months now. At first, we started taking lessons for fun, making it a special date-night routine. However now we are taking it seriously and we come twice a week.The growing studio has a solid foundation program that makes it easy for anyone to learn the dance routines- no experience necessary. The Madison studio is located in the plaza next to Cohen’s bagels on the second floor. It is incredibly spacious and there are great amenities. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable as well. I am so happy I started dance with Fred Astaire :)

I have been a student of the Fred Astaire Studios for a few years. The team has taken me from wallflower status to a confident dancer. The Madison Studio has an excellent set of instructors. The facility is clean and well designed. It was a pleasure to take lessons there. I highly recommend giving the some of your money and time.
