Easily the most fantastic gym and fitness experience in the Stamford, Greenwich, New Canaan, and Darien areas. It's hard to overstate the quality of the individualized programming, coaching, and community. The attention and care of the coaching stands above any gym I've been a member at and holds true for members who are competitive athletes to people who have stepped into a gym for the first time. Truly a remarkable place!

I join Gold Coast about four years ago. At first I found it very daunting. It was much more competitive iand the athletes were much younger and better than my last CrossFit box.
Don't get me wrong. I loved my last gym. But Gold Coast guided me through a break up and a lot of personal change and growth. Today I'm 40lbs lighter, leaner and with better habits. I also have a community of friends upon whom I can lean and who can lean upon me.
I am almost 54 years old and I feel great aside from the aches and pains of age.
I cannot say enough about Abi, Tom, Kendra and Jake.
Come check it out. You're doing yourself at dosservice if you don't.

I can’t say enough things about Tom and Abby at Gold Coast. Prior to joining I worked out a few times per week but it was very unstructured and I was nursing a long term knee injury. Today I’m in my 40’s and am stronger than ever, which helps me in all aspects of my life. My knee feels better and I’m more capable in everything from playing soccer with my kids, skiing, and even yard works. Tom, Abby and the staff are helpful and considerate while pushing you to your peak performance!

I've been a member of Gold Coast since November, 2020. The coaches and members have been very welcoming and made me feel at home from the start. The coaches instruct, motivate and demonstrate to ensure everyone gets the max out of their time at the gym. It is filled with good people and good vibes. I just completed the 3-month nutrition challenge. The team led this program with great dedication and the results of the group have been incredible! We are eating with a purpose, sleeping better and getting stronger. My experiences have been very good and I have recommended Gold Coast to friends. Check it out!

Just a brief backstory. I am 26 and have been working out consistently since 2015. For four years, I wrote my own training programs but in 2019, I injured my low back and was diagnosed with two bulging discs in my lumbar spine. For the next three years, I dialed back my training but could not find a program that prevented me from reaggravating my back injury every 3-6 months. Despite seeing an orthopedic sports doctor and receiving physical therapy as well as regular chiropractic treatments, I could not workout without low back pain and I never reached my pre-injury strength levels. That’s when I reached out to Abi at Gold Coast Strength and Conditioning.
I began my individualized programming in April 2022. After four months, I was consistently working out with no back pain. And now after just 10 months, I have surpassed my lifetime bench and overhead press PRs and I am already back squatting 80% of my pre-injury one rep max. The coaches at Gold Coast S&C took the time to understand my injury, training history, and assessed my movement during a comprehensive initial consultation. Then they developed a training program based on my fitness goals, injury, and the number of days I can consistently train per week. Every week, my performance is reviewed and the programming is tweaked based what is working and what isn’t.
If you have recurring injuries that are limiting your training and/or are serious about improving your strength/endurance goals, individualized programing with the coaches at Gold Coast will be a perfect fit for you. They are a team that will work as hard as you (if not harder) to get you back on track with your fitness goals.

Very welcoming since day one and I don’t know where I’d be physically or mentally if I didn’t join this community. Never thought I’d find such a great gym community like this! I struggled finding my place at other gyms but GCSC feels like a second home at this point. My coach Abi is amazing but honestly, every single coach is phenomenal. HIGHLY recommend!

I love this place! Abi and Tom care about their members and make every effort to help us succeed. They helped me modify and keep working out during my pregnancy. Now they are coaching me through postpartum. My husband who has knee issues is also a member and they advise him on modifications as well. They know their stuff and they make sure we are working hard- but always safe. I highly recommend this place!

Throughout my fitness journey, I’ve been to many gyms and have worked with a lot of different trainers. There was the good, the bad and the ugly. Then I found GC and my home. I have never been stronger, faster and looked better in my life not to mention feeling like a million bucks.
The workouts are fun, engaging and challenging. Everyday coming into the gym is exciting. I walk in ready for a new challenge and feel accomplished when I finish.
With small group classes with extremely knowledgeable and friendly trainers, you get the one-on-one attention you need to properly perform exercises safely and efficiently to be a better you.

Gold Coast strength and conditioning is a step above. Tom and Abi are exceptional coaches who know and understand what it takes to help their clients reach their goals. In less than 6 months I’ve seen my max lifts increase significantly as well as my cardiovascular threshold. I am performing lifts I never thought possible. The coaches are all great and they make the workouts fun and challenging all while being surrounded by great people in a top notch facility. Change is possible! I have been to many gyms and tried many nutrition programs over several years but I have never seen results like I have since joining Thrive. I have lost almost 25lbs and have accomplished goals I didn't think were possible. This is a welcoming community of people from all walks of life and I love being a part of it!
