Absolutely love the school and the program. Instructors are phenomenal and my 9 year old went from being super afraid of the water to loving it.. highly recommend this school.

I don’t usually write reviews I’m more of a “tell the neighbor over the fence” kind of person, but I just had to say something about our experience at Goldfish Swim School.

I recently came to watch my granddaughter’s swim lesson, and let me tell you, I was absolutely blown away by her instructor, Marissa. What a beam of light! So patient, so encouraging, and you can just tell she truly loves working with the kids. My granddaughter can be a bit shy, especially in new environments, but Marissa made her feel completely comfortable and confident in the water and made sure to reassure us of her progress at the end of class with a big smile on her face!

Watching my granddaughter smile and giggle while learning important skills just warmed this grandma’s heart. It reminded me of the days when I taught my own kids to swim—but with far more energy and fun (and less yelling from the edge of the pool 😄).

The whole facility is clean, colorful, and welcoming, but it was Marissa who truly made the experience unforgettable. She went above and beyond, and I could see she does that for every child in her class. At first I thought it was silly to be paying for swim lessons when she could just learn at home, but now I completely understand the experience.

We just love it here. The staff is so friendly so caring. They really know how to keep kids safe and happy. The front staff always welcome you as soon as you walk in and they all say goodbye when you leave. It's so clean, the water the bathroom and the changing areas. You can tell they have a great staff running it.

My son Daniel has been taking lessons since January 2024 at Goldfish Swim School-Cromwell. The staff are some of the nicest people out there! Danny gets fist bumps and most of them saying hello to him, which gives him the biggest smile! His swim instructor Xiomara is very knowledgeable and sweet as can be. We will be going here for a very long time! We love you Goldfish!

This is probably the best school and best thing I could have done for my daughter I started her at 4 months old and she does really well in the water now. They are caring and very reliable people. They interact with the parents and with the kids. They even give awards to the kids as the grow. It's the cutest little spot and the pool is nice and warm for our little ones to not shiver. If your looking for a swim school this place is it.

After 5 months my child had not passed the first level. When I brought this to the desks attention they asked to evaluate my child. After the evaluation the score was lower than the previous evaluation. The instructors always say my child is making great progress, but honestly it seems like they are just trying to collect money with no improvement or progression. Each class is 30 minutes. Between transition time and time divided between the other students. Each child only gets about 7 min per class.

Goldfish swim lessons are great. But cannot give 5 stars simply for the fact that there's such few bathrooms to the student ratio. I think 4 total when there's probably 25+ kids in the pool for lessons at once. Having a toddler that is potty training there's never a bathroom available when you need it. It's rather odd the lack of toilets....

Goldfish has been great for my autistic son to go and get private lessons each Saturday. Today, we scheduled a makeup session and didn't realize just how poorly a group session would go for our guy. On a busy weeknight, Rebecca jumped right in from her lifeguard position to do a private lesson with him, in the lane he always goes to. Caitlin was also so accommodating, making sure our next makeup session goes well! Thank you for making what could have been a disaster into a great session for everyone, especially our kiddo!

Terrible experience and customer service. Goldfish messed up my son’s swim lesson time. We showed up at the correct time and they told us they had no room for him and he was placed in the wrong class. Wouldn’t offer a refund for their error and said I can use a makeup token for a family swim which is too late for a toddler to even attend. Would absolutely not recommend.

We've been taking our toddler to Goldfish Swim School- Cromwell for almost a year now, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The staff is incredibly skilled and supportive, and the facility is always clean and welcoming. The culture here is amazing, making every lesson enjoyable for both kids and parents. We've seen such great improvement in our child's swimming skills, all thanks to the fantastic team at Goldfish at Cromwell. Highly recommend!

Great place to have your youngest or older get into swimming or even continue their swim passion. All staff are very attentive, very well trained and are super knowledgeable. We are currently on year 2 of our membership, our first swim was free and now we pay monthly. They are a little expensive but have different payments and packages. They allow free family swims with a certain package, they allow parties as well.. but no price is too high for having your little one learn how to swim.

My kids started goldfish a few months ago. They started in ISR lessons at a young age then we moved here to CT and had trouble finding ISR. We tried the YMCA traditional lessons and did not see improvement in 12 weeks. We then started here at goldfish and within 2 weeks, we saw improvement and were very pleased with how they approached lessons. Our kids are doing amazing.

In addition, the staff is absolutely amazing. So friendly and so helpful. Caitlin is awesome. She helped us transition and is always so patient. I’m one of those parents that asks so many questions and she always keeps a smile on her face and does everything to help! We love it here.

We started lessons in April 2024 and my daughter has loved every single lesson. Our instructor JAZMIN has been amazing with not just my daughter, but with all of the kids in the classes. She has an energy and a love for teaching swimming/swimming safety that makes the lessons a ton of fun. I would recommend Goldfish Swim School to anyone wanting their kids to learn how to safely enjoy swimming!

They canceled a class, only received an email day before in junk email, they told they will give credit for it at apparently that credit is for make up class that I have to go some other time. So we paid month ahead, they canceled the class and i have to come back some other time.

Our daughter started in March with limited skills and has really hit her stride! She progressed to the next tier of lessons and we put her in a semi private class to give more time in the water and she absolutely LOVES it. She adores all her instructors and was heartbroken when they closed for the holiday (very well deserved break for staff!) We love Goldfish Swim School!

Our son is a very nervous kid and I can’t thank the staff at Goldfish enough for helping our son overcome his fear! The first day, I didn’t even think he’d get in the water, but one of the extra staff circulating around the pool saw he was struggling and gave him some extra attention. After just a few minutes of tears, our son has been loving his experience. We love the flexibility of the scheduling-it really makes the experience enjoyable for the parents as well as the kids. The facility is clean, has fun murals and decor, and the fish tank keeps our 18 month old daughter entertained as well. I highly recommend Goldfish!

We enrolled our son shortly before he turned 3 because he was terrified of the water. He has been going here weekly for 8 months now and has improved tremendously. The first few lessons were, frankly, embarrassing for me because he screamed bloody mercy the entire lesson. The staff did a great job working with him and easing both our fears. He now loves getting in the water and is more confident in the pool. Overall we like the school and will continue swim lessons for as long as we see it beneficial to him. I grew up in and around the water so water safety is a priority.

Just a few cons worth mentioning:
-The observation area gets very crowded. People stand and crowd the walkways and it can be stressful managing a toddler with so many other people and kids and so little walking/sitting space.
-There is high turnover of the instructors. I can’t imagine it’s a glamorous job, but my son has been going here consistently for 8 months and it feels like every week he has a new instructor who doesn’t know him at all. I feel that consistency with instructors would improve him progress, especially for the price we are paying.
-The bathroom situation is dismal. There are three bathrooms in the main retail area and one on the pool deck but for some reason they are always full. This can be challenging when you have a recently potty-trained toddler and are also very pregnant. As I write this, it has been at least 10 minutes since I have been waiting to use a toilet. I understand the benefit of not having locker rooms with bathroom stalls but this has been a major drawback for me.

My daughters have been going here for just over a month and we love it! My 7 year old is doing well in her classes and my beginner 3 year old is getting more comfortable each time. The instructors are so great, especially with the little ones! Hrideyesh is very patient with my 3 year old and does a great job! The facility is clean and well designed. I love the app as well to follow my children’s progress! Highly recommend this school to anyone!

We've been part of the Goldfish Cromwell family since they opened their doors in January, and it's been an incredible experience for both my girls. The facility is always spotless, which gives me peace of mind. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and friendly, always ready to assist and make our time there enjoyable. The variety of class options means there's always a perfect fit for different skill levels, and their accommodating nature has been a huge help to our busy family schedule. Another big plus is their user-friendly app—it makes managing schedules, payments, and communications a breeze. Highly recommend for any parent looking to introduce their children to swimming in a fun, supportive environment!

I can’t say enough about this place. Firstly, the moment I stepped into the facility I couldn’t believe how incredibly clean it is. Coming from a complete germaphobe, I am telling you, it is immaculate. Moreover, the staff is absolutely wonderful. Most notably, the assistant GM, Caitlin Georgoff. Caitlin is so patient and personable, and went above and beyond to accommodate our apprehensive toddler. She was willing to try it all to help our daughter feel acclimated and comfortable to make the experience positive and meaningful. She took the time to learn our daughter’s preferences and individual needs in order to meet her exactly where she is at. I would absolutely recommend Cromwell Goldfish Swim School.

I am blown out of the water with how great of an experience my family is having at Goldfish Swim School Cromwell! I have twin boys, 3yrs old and they are a handful for sure, I was nervous at first, but that was until I actually walked in the doors and felt welcomed and reassured. Just the ratio of staff to student is reassuring itself. So clean and a happy environment. The pools are not deep and kept at 90 degrees and not having to be a parent in the water with them is a game changer. The instructors provide an update after each class. We have been attending for a month now and I only wish I knew about this school sooner.

The staff is great and the facility is beautiful !! My son unfortunately started the year with a minor head injury that kept him out of lessons for a while and the manager and everyone I dealt with was so so accommodating! I highly recommend if you’re considering this place stop in … I can’t believe how clean it is !! My son cried like crazy the first class … by the second time he was fine - that speaks volumes to the teachers they have!
