Without sounding too cliche- Sessions’s has changed my life! I had an at home one year family photo session with hfitch photography whose journey I had been following on social media. Getting ready for that evening left me feeling defeated in the shell of a person I had become just going through the day-to-day in survival mode. The only thing pushing me to even follow through with capturing these moments together as a family- and not just my children- is that as much as I felt that way about myself, that may not be the memories they had of me. After talking to Hayley that evening I went and signed up for my first Summer challenge and didn’t realize just how much my life would truly change for the better. My new habits that I made for myself helped me gain energy, strength, and a brand new frame of mind to be not only the best version of myself for me- but a mother to my children who can keep up with (now) three year old twin boys and a dancing diva eight year old.
My mornings with my 5am crew with Ida are my favorite way to start my days and put me in the best frame of mind to take on any curveballs the day can bring. But mixing up my workouts with a sense of calm and challenge with Michelle’s Vinyasa Flow, Kris’s Saturday morning Vibe to really set the mood for the weekend and Tayler’s kickass showing of the pearls (iykyk) on Sunday’s truly make my workouts enjoyable and what I look most forward to to start my day!

Sessions has been a great fitness center to be a part of. If you asked me a year ago if I would be into the gym I would have said no way, but now I can't imagine missing a class. They offer a variety of classes that any fitness level can enjoy. I have enjoyed taking the FIT and GROW classes with Denise, Melina and Michaela. Their classes are an amazing workout, you'll have fun and feel the burn!

So much more than a gym! It's a community of like-minded women who cheer you on while you work out and lift you up if you're struggling in a NO JUDGEMENT comfortable space. Have back issues and need modifications? No problem. Starting off from ground zero? YOU choose your starting weights to lift and are guided to increase when YOU'RE ready by an instructor who cares and wants you to succeed. Their 12 week challenges are perfect to jump start your journey to wellness as they teach you to increase your metabolism through strength training (not body building!) and nutrition using real food. Follow on facebook for recipes and tips and ask all your questions to a group of professionals and get answers fast. Need to work out at home? they have an online membership for that too. You are not locked into a membership, try it and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

I had struggled my entire life with consistency before Sessions Wellness Studio came into my world. I did all of the fad diets, only focused on cardio for weight loss, and never maintained a healthy body.
Kris and her life changing, knowledgeable staff have given me the proper tools to ensure my body gets the fuel and workouts it needs to achieve my personal body goals.
I just celebrated my 2 year anniversary in April along with becoming a member of the 500 (Classes) Club! This in itself is a testimony considering I’ve quit on myself time and time again. Plus the variety of classes is great for my neurospicy brain! It doesn’t get boring!
Sessions Wellness Studio has a team and clientele that are like no other. They make you want to show up, even on the days you don’t feel like it. It is more than a community, it is a family.

Sessions Wellness Studio is truly a one-of-a-kind gym in Eastern Connecticut. The owner, Kris, goes above and beyond to get to know every member personally and is always a friendly face at the studio.
I attend the Fit classes during the week, coached by Jamie—and she’s incredible! She designs well-rounded workouts that target all major muscle groups in an efficient and effective way. On top of her fitness and nutrition expertise, Jamie is an amazing motivator—she’s genuinely passionate about what she does, and it shows in how much she celebrates her clients’ progress.
The classes are definitely challenging, but there’s always a modification available if you’re not quite ready for the more advanced moves. As someone in a larger body, I always feel supported at Sessions. Jamie takes the time to show me how to adjust exercises in a way that still helps me grow without feeling overwhelmed.
Last, but certainly not least, one of the most unexpected (and best) parts of joining Sessions has been the community. The members and staff create such a positive and uplifting environment. We’re constantly cheering each other on, building each other up, and crushing our goals—one rep at a time.

Sessions Wellness Studio is a great place to workout! I love attending classes and this place has more classes than any other gym in this area. There are two locations. One in Griswold and one in Norwich. Your membership includes both facilities. The classes include weight routines cardio yoga spin and barre. The instructors are professional and always willing to share their knowledge! It is a very friendly environment. I’ve made so many friends since joining Sessions. I would highly recommend this facility.

I've never been a gym person, it's always made me nervous and uncomfortable. My first class I was on edge with anxiety, but after walking through the doors I was instantly relaxed. Jamie introduced herself and explained a little bit and once the class filled up we got to work. It is such a tight knit community and everyone is on your side, rooting along with you. I love the atmosphere here and the instructors are all amazing!!!

I joined back in March with the Spring challenge. I attend classes mostly in Griswold with Jamie. I have been trying classes in Norwich the last couple of weeks, also. The coaches at both locations are knowledgeable, motivating, positive and welcoming and The community at both locations is uplifting and supportive! When you walk in you feel right at home. Everyone is so welcoming, not just the trainers but the members. They offer a variety of classes in the morning and afternoon/evening. I’ll be honest I’ve tried a lot of gyms but this one is different. It’s group classes but you feel as if it’s personal training. It’s for all levels, old or young, big or small, in shape or out of shape, injuries that need modification, etc. You get your butt kicked in a good way, you have gym friends cheering you on, and a coach that pushes you to prove to yourself that you can do it! I absolutely love Sessions!

I was lucky enough to meet Kris during training for Fitness Atlantic 2017. She became a friend, a mentor, and a positive influence in my life. She was so energizing and happy! Sessions Wellness Studio is amazing! I have been exercising here for several years and I always look forward to going and always leave feeling like I had a challenging workout.
Jamie and Kris are the instructors that I have taken classes with and they are the best! They are both positive, caring people who always push you to do your best. They are very approachable and make it easy to ask questions about form when you are completing an exercise. I love them both!
Jamie was my nutrition coach and she was always there if I had a question or needed a recipe. She was supportive and also held me accountable. I learned so much from her about nutrition that I still use to this day. I also worked out at Sessions throughout my whole pregnancy and Jamie always checked in with me and modified exercises so I could still complete the move. She is an incredible coach!

I started my journey this Spring 2025. I came into this journey with thoughts of needing help balancing proper nutrition. Over 50 yrs old was changing my body shape no matter how consistent I was with my active daily habits. I never have been a junk food eater, but what I've discovered is with proper healthy eating habits, the extra weight was coming off while strengthening and toning my muscle. This program is not just about the show girls that hit the stage through their journey and their bodies needs to alter lost body weight for some, nor the breast implants that some do. That is their journey and they worked hard to get to that point in their lives. This program is about you and making healthy life decisions to keep you healthy and fit. We do not have to be jealous of the hard work when we are not making this change for ourselves. We are only in a competition to better our own health and we all deserve the knowledge of Kris, Jamie, and the others to help us obtain a better version of ourselves.

I have to give a huge shoutout to Kris - Her VIP program played a massive role in my weight loss journey. Last night my son was doing 30 pound curls. When he was done I picked them up and he said," Let me get you a lighter weight." The look on his face when I started curling those 30's as well was priceless. That is why I go to Sessions!!
