My daughter has been dancing here since she was 3 and has loved every class. The teachers, assistant teachers, and even the older girls and boys are all welcoming and make you feel like part of a family and not just a dance studio.
The studio listens to parent input so it's not the same fundraisers over and over. Last year, we even had an adult hip hop class!

Love this studio!!! Every coach and staff member treat you like family! Recitals are the best ones out of any CT dance school. The competition team is extremely talented and hard working! So many options for classes too- from little little kids to adults/moms 😀

My son has been dancing now for 4 years and he absolutely loves the staff. Communication is clear via email and communication board at the studio. The studio is always clean and welcoming. Highly recommend for new dancers and experienced dancers.

Everyone is friendly, the kids easily make new friends and become part of the Heart and Sole Family. They have a dedicated staff, very talented and GREAT with the kids. If you’re looking for a place like this then Heart and Sole is the Dance Studio for you

Zero communication between parents and staff. No monthly invoices or even emails regarding monthly tuition payments. No accounting done here. My Father pays for some classes as a xmas gift and had a brain injury. He asked for invoices to help keep track so when I asked for that i was told "they dont do that" lol what a joke. Never received ANY emails regarding classes- events- etc. Recital tickets were on sale but NO email or flyer sent home regarding any of it- I had to call personally then Go in to speak with Corey and was simply told just Venmo us this amount… Corey who runs front desk was very rude and unprofessional when I addressed my concerns. Costume costs were a lot had to purchase sneakers to go with the costume and was told by Corey when paying that the dancers would receive Adidas or a good sneaker for what they charged. Seriously look like Payless sneakers. Highly suggest finding another local studio if you're someone who likes communication especially for the prices charged.

This is so ridiculous they should have a newbie class for kids who have not danced before and also when I signed my kid for this studio and a woman at the front desk said u never danced before and when we left my child cried and said why is that woman so rude so I hope u just end this studio cause I know all of the other studios near that studio is so much better than this

Heart and sole is an amazing studio to attend no matter what level you are. This place provides a safe place to learn and improve on your skills. There are so many different styles of dances that you can take. The staff and dancers are amazing people!

Heart & Sole has been great to my daughter and I. It has been 4 years of top notch instruction given by dedicated, knowledgeable and caring teachers....mixed with fun, family and terrific memories!
The end of the year recitals are always beautifully put together, organized and choreographed.
The few times that I've had issues or questions about payments, they were quickly resolved. The owner Jill is extremely understanding and has an open door policy....which I love.
It's been a privilege to be part of the Heart & Sole family.
I highly recommend!!

Jill and her staff work so hard to make sure each and every dancer has the best possible experience. Went here for the grand opening of Kelvia's belly dance satalite location. The location was a little difficult to find when relaying only on GPS. Spacious and friendly very comfortable place to dance.

As a former and proud if I do so so myself student whose attended, I can say that I respect Heart and Sole for what it does to inspire younger and even older dancers. They've opened up a lot more in variety in terms of dance styles overtime and it's not like they're falling out of that momentum they have going. They're genius ideas are driven by many amazing women and men (I'm looking at Kyle, Justin, Ezra, Jayden, you know, the usual praise they get) and it's not misplaced! There are still millions out there who've grown shy of the spotlight and are feared by large groups and audiences! But, what this studio does is build confidence, makes you more comfortable, and doing so could completely conquer your fear. Or at least, they had that impact on me for the past 6 years, I've attended. So, if a child of yours likes to dance and you're a parent or guardian trying to explore your options for them to learn, look no further than Heart and Sole Dance Studio!

Professional and very reasonably priced. They have such talented dancers! The recitals are entertaining too. They really know how to put on a great show! I highly recommend this studio to anyone in the Greater Waterbury area!
