As a former modern dancer with a background in kinesiology, I’m picky about trainers- HIGHLIFE is expert level. I’m in my 40s, have chronic injuries and have had to stop exercising in the past. Since starting with Tom, I’ve more consistent than ever. Despite some injuries, I haven’t had to miss a workout. They know how to give a stellar workout and work around issues on the fly. They are creative and motivating. This is NOT your average gym. Coming here is the best part of the week- The positivity, expertise, and results are unmatched. I trust them all the way. 10 stars!

I worked with Josten the summer before going to school abroad. I started working out at High Life four months ago. Both Tom(the owner) and Josten are high energy guys with great enthusiasm. Josten is an excellent trainer and has helped me focus my goals on strength training as an older individual. Josten explains every exercise and routine throughout the session and no two sessions are ever the same. I have seen results and feel the difference. In addition Josten discusses how different muscle groups interact and the importance of good nutrition. I highly recommend High Life and Josten.

I have been working with Tom for close to three years now and what a journey it has been! Tom helped me overcome years of body dysmorphia, has been a shoulder for me to cry on, and has been my greatest cheerleader from beating personal goals to weekly/daily check-in‘s for accountability. I’ve known Tom for around 5 years from The Edge Danbury to home visits during COVID and now at Highlife where I’ve been training for 1 1/2 years. He’s trained every member of my family and provided a personal approach for every individual need. In my case, a 66 year old man with a slipped disc, I’ve safely gained muscle mass with a steady program of strength training. No other trainer I worked with was as effective as Tom. In all my individual exercises, my capacity increases every week. I can deadlift over 300 lbs and bench press almost 200! If you want to take your fitness to the next level, Tom is the man!

Tom has an acute understanding what he is doing and what a persons needs are. I have not trained in person with Tom.
