We love kidstrong Danbury , Ethan and Ashlyn are absolutely amazing and my son’s favorite instructors! They are able to joyfully bring him back to the task when his little 2 yr old brain causes him to wander. They spread their time with the kids to make sure all get 1-on-1 time with them. They deserve raises and many thanks!!

The coaches are exceptional and go wayyyy above and beyond what is expected. Particularly coach ethan and coach Amanda but that's only cause these are the only two I know. I'm sure the others are just as fantastic.

Our son has been attending KidStrong for almost 2 years and it's the best activity we could be part of. The Danbury Staff and Coaches are incredibly motivational and their desire to make each student feel welcome, special, and cared for is second to none. Our son also plays sports and KidStrong's physical fitness activities have heightened his skillset in between practices. If you are looking for physical exercise while working on mental and emotional stability, we highly recommend KidStrong!

I had a trial at Kidstrong for my 8 year old son. The staff was professional, engaging and when they realized my son could do more physically, they challenged him so positively, building his self confidence. We signed up on the spot. As a homeschool mom, this is exactly what I needed to engage my son with his peers while building his confidence and getting in a great workout.

KidStrong has been an amazing experience. Not only does my 3 year old son love it, my husband and I have a blast participating in the classes with him. They are well-thought-out classes that are designed appropriately for the age group. They have made a real impact in my son’s gross motor skills, confidence, and openness to try new things. The coaches are amazing and he gets so excited to go see them. Highly recommend

We absolutely LOVE KidStrong, and a huge part of that is because of Coach Ashlyn and Coach Christa! They are both truly amazing at what they do.

Coach Ashlyn is incredibly sweet, patient, and full of positivity. She has such a natural way of connecting with kids—our child feels seen, supported, and empowered every time she’s around. Her energy is infectious, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about each child’s growth and confidence. Every class with her is a highlight of our week!

Coach Christa is equally fantastic—so encouraging, enthusiastic, and skilled at motivating the kids while keeping things fun and structured. She brings a perfect balance of strength, kindness, and leadership to every session. She’s also amazing at answering questions and making sure parents feel informed and supported, which we really appreciate.

Together, Coach Ashlyn and Coach Christa make an unbeatable team. We are so grateful for the impact they’ve had not just on our child’s development, but on their self-esteem and love for learning. KidStrong is lucky to have them—and so are we! 💪💙

This program is something that should be added in public schools as a part of a regular physical education program. Its giving kids a foundation in learning life skills while empowering them to believe in themselves through structured physical activity, what more could you ask for! The coaches are always so kind and energetic. Coach Scott went out of his way to find the perfect class for my child and for what our goals are for my child; could not have been more accommodating. Once the kids grasp the program, its impossible not to have fun. Highly recommend for kids in elementary school as its been awesome for my child's confidence and social development. Thanks KS Danbury!!

My son has been going to KidStrong for several years, and is one of the longest-standing members there. We're in very good standing there.

Overall, my family's experiences there have been pretty good. The quality of each session depends very heavily on who are the coaches that day - some are much, much better than others. There is a high turnaround with the coaches too, so things get mixed up a lot. I like the activities they have, and I've seen my son grow and improve over the years.

One unfortunate thing about my experience with KidStrong is that they are not very good at responding to feedback. I've had two poor experiences with them so far.

1. KidStrong periodically texts you asking for feedback on a class, and I usually give the feedback when they ask for it. A while back, they texted me after a class that had two new coaches. While I wasn't planning on complaining, I shared my opinion on the class - the coaches had been very disengaged, and they were gone shortly afterwards. What surprised me here is that I was approached maybe 6-8 weeks later by one of the head coaches asking for details. By then, I had mostly forgotten about it, and told them I coudn't really remember what happened. But if I HAD been very concerned, that seems like an extremely slow turnaround to address my concerns.

2. This one was much worse. A week ago, my son was hurt during class during a tug-of-war match with the kids versus the parents. I had an issue with how the coaches handled the situation, and ended up bringing my concern to the head coach on duty that day, after everyone had left. The head coach was a little dismissive of my concerns, telling me that the coach I had a concern with was "very sweet" and I probably misunderstood the situation. However, she said that she would talk with the coach and text me the next day as a followup. Well, she didn't text me. A week later, I came to my next scheduled class, and the head coach was on the floor with my son that day. She had many oppotunities to follow up with me and did not. After class, I had to chase this head coach down to follow up. They told me that they did not follow up on text because they thought it was better to talk with me in person (so why did I have to chase them down, then?). They said they spoke with the coach and that it was a misunderstanding. I suggested that they could have texted me the next day as promised to say they'd like to talk about it in person, and they seemed annoyed with me for saying so. Overall, my impression of their approach to the conversation was that they were annoyed with me and dismissive, and that their goal was to end the conversation and not address my concern. I also don't think they were actually going to follow up on the conversation if I hadn't chased them down.

Things like this can really sour an overall sentiment towards an organization. I don't like the pretense that if I do share a concern, it won't be taken seriously. That makes the environment feel less safe for my son, and undermines my confidence in the quality of the time spent there.

We recently attended our first session at KidStrong, and I was so impressed by the entire experience. The coaches were energetic, patient, and incredibly welcoming. What stood out to me the most was how inclusive and understanding they were—especially toward neurodivergent children like my son.

Even after just one visit, it was clear that this is a place where kids of all abilities are supported and encouraged to thrive. My son felt comfortable, engaged, and proud of himself—which means everything to us.

We’re excited to return, and I highly recommend KidStrong to any parent looking for a positive, inclusive environment for their child. Thank you for making our first visit so special!

We decided to try KidStrong as a way for our son to build confidence and a foundation for physical fitness. The KidStrong coaches have been fantastic with our son. They bring the same energy and dedication to every class we've participated in. They are always upbeat, inclusive and motivating. They foster teamwork with all the kids and parents. It is very easy getting in touch with someone and they are always willing to provide indepth information. We love KidStrong. Our 3 year old never wants to leave.

It is important for teachers to love what they do because it can have a positive impact on their students. When teachers are passionate about their work they are more likely to inspire and motivate their students. This can create a positive learning environment where students feel engaged and excited to learn. Ultimately when teachers love what they do it can lead to more successful and fulfilling experiences for their students. And that's KidStrong! Love the place and love what they do for the children. Johan loves his first teachers. My mom as well!

We stumbled upon KidStrong when my niece’s gymnastics class was canceled and we needed something to do on a rainy day. We’ve been hooked ever since! The environment is so supportive and growth-minded for kids, even through silly games they’re learning how to try new things, play cooperatively, and even “lose” graciously while cheering on their friends who won.

My niece LOVES the coaches, always smiling and laughing when she sees any of them, and the time and energy they spend in getting to know each kid individually is amazing! My sister has even convinced a couple of her friends to bring their kids, and now they all get to play together in class.

I wish I could join a KidStrong class!!

This is a very special place the skills and teamwork that the children learn are important live skills .The coaches are amazing they understand the needs of their students. They know when to offer a helping hand with a smile while stressing independence . Several weeks ago a student was on the balance beam walking sideways another child came on but could not do it alone the little boy reached out his hand and the little girl took his hand and smiling they walked the rest of the beam together. Teamwork really does make the dream work !!!

We love kidstrong. It has been a wonderful experience for both our kids! Our 7 year old has been attending classes for just under 2 years and we just signed our 2 1/2 year old up 6 months ago. They both can't wait each week for their class. Coach Ethan is both of their coaches and he is wonderful. He is so patient with the kids. My son barely spoke to anyone when he started. Coach Ethan got down on the floor next to him and helped him feel comfortable. Now he talks to everyone and is always right in the middle of things! I have to say it is an amazing program.

I have been getting ads for KidStrong for months and I was curious since my son turned 2. Since having a boy that is just a ball of energy, I have being trying to find activities to burn that energy and also start to introduce some structure during the playtime.
KidStrong is the perfect choice for this. We loved or trial class and sign up right away for the membership.
My son loves the classes and the coaches. The gym has great equipment and is kept clean. We had 3 classes already and can’t wait until next week. If you have a little one and are looking for a great physical activity and great structured playtime you won’t regret going with KidStrong.

I signed up my daughter and son for kidstrong, but before they even started my daughter decided it wasn’t for her. The first month they charged us $130 for both kids on a membership, as well as a $50 registration, $25 per kid, despite having cancelled the program before she even started. They ask you to put a card on file before you even start classes, which was odd to me but because I intended to bring my son, it wasn’t an issue. Until they charged my card again for both children, despite my daughter never having taken one class. When I brought it to managements attention they basically said “their contract” rules to which I pointed out we had paid for 4 months of classes and had only taken 2 classes! Then January came and another charge! This time for one child, however they still didn’t remove my card from their system. To this day i am still waiting to hear back from their financial department about my refund. My son went in November and still in February we have no resolve, even after I gave my card again to be refunded the money. I only come here to review this so it doesn’t happen to another parent. $600 for 2 classes, not including the additional payments removed from my account, and the best they could do was to refund me $400. But again we’re in February and this has been going on since November and I had spoken to the general manager who just kept on giving me the run around delaying our refund again and again, claiming it was the responsibility of the previous Gm and blaming the financial department, constantly saying “he needed to call them, and that he needed to email them; each time I waited a week- months at a time with no resolve. Neither here nor there because neither of them has been able to do something with regard to this matter. I offered to pay a full price of $160 for the two months since my son didn’t even attend in December because of their lack of customer service. Don’t get me wrong the class is fun for kids but the fish stinks from the head and if management can’t get hold the financial department then is this even a real business? Or a Ponzi scheme. The average class costing $40 per child and only lasting 45 mins. I pay for swim classes and that $160 covers 2 months worth of classes. So to say they are wayyyy overpriced is an understatement. But I hope this reaches the financial department and management so that they can amend the situation, because at this moment in time I’m very displeased with the way this matter has been handled thus far. Happy reading.

Everyone who works there is so nice, accommodating, understanding and welcoming. We really feel part of the community. My 2 year old son LOVES going and has progressed in the 9 months that he’s been there! I really appreciate how there is focus on both physical and mental milestones for their age group. The center is clean, scheduling is easy, and the coaches are the best. We highly recommend KidStrong Danbury!

Kidstrong was an amazing experience for our 3 year old. It offered him the ability to output alot of his energy in class but also provided opportunities to learn life tasks and grow as an individual. The classes are great, seperated by age, and always run by 2 coaches who help and encourage all of the kids through each activity. 1 parent is expected to be on the mat with the kid while there is a seating area for the otber parent/family members to watch and "tag in" if needed. The end of every class includes an "awards" ceremony where kids earn achievements and awards based on performance and also level up to the next level after so many classes. The coaches are great (Coach Ethan the absolute best) and are always engaged and there to help the kids succeed and grow in whatever they are doing. Yes there is a monthly fee based on the class you take but everything is presented to you up front when you sign up your kid and sign the contract so there shouldn't be any surprises (ignore all those negative reviews who claim they weren't aware of the 30 day cancelation policy, clearly they didn't read the contract or pay attention). The center is always clean and well maintained with someone at the front desk to answer any questions you may have. Overall an AMAZING experience for our son, one I am glad we signed him up for and would highly recommend for any parent looking for an activity for their kid to do, especially if they want to burn off some energy. Thank you Kidstrong for everything!

Had my 5 year old daughter’s birthday party there and my son was enrolled in their weekly class for close to a year. He no longer was showing any interest in attending the class as was becoming bored and no longer enjoyed it. My wife cancelled on Feb 12 and told them that end of Feb would be his last class.

They claimed they have a 30 day cancellation policy and would be charging $150 for the month of March’s worth of classes, which we confirmed my son would not be attending. Called three times, left messages, nobody returned any calls. They charged my card, essentially stealing the monthly fee because they believe they legally can according to terms of service.

Any business dealing with kids should not come with a “contract” that requires us to go over with a fine tooth comb. After being a well paying customer for over a year they felt the need to treat us like dirt and take what they felt they could. Terrible business practice.

Class is ok, but a lot of fake excitement and shouting with no real purpose. Lots of “achievements” where they photograph your child for their own marketing purposes and level you up so you can pay $25 for the “next level shirt”.

Take your kids to a park and let them play on a jungle gym, I promise it’ll be basically the same experience without the cringy atmosphere and you won’t be paying through the nose for anything.

Business practices should matter, morals should matter. Enjoy the extra $150, you obviously need it more than we do.

Read the fine print of your contract with Kidstrong - it's a rip off! Kidstrong is overpriced, the music is awful for small children and you'll leave with a headache, and two of the coaches are terrifying to toddlers. I signed my 1 1/2 year old twins up for the 6 month package. Warning to all parents with toddlers - they make it seem as if it's easy to find make up classes during the sign up process. However, they only offer make up classes at 2pm on Saturdays and Sunday and they don't tell you this until you ask. Our twins nap from 1-3:30 everyday. We missed 4 classes during the 6 month period due to sickness. When we missed the first class, KidStrong allowed us to join one of the other toddler classes on Wednesday morning as a makeup.
However, after that we were told there WAS room in the Wednesday morning class but we were not allowed to join it due to "HQ not allowing it". The only make up classes for toddlers is 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. For $56 per class for the two of them we are missing out on $168 worth of classes with no flexibility on when the make up class can be done. I guess they'd rather we show up with sick kids during the regular classes and get all the other kids sick. When I called to cancel the memberships the person told me we would continue to be charged for another month even though I requested the cancellation effective immediately. And there was no one else I could speak to about it. The running in circles and free to explore time are not worth it for their restrictive "HQ" policies and ridiculous price tag.

My 3 year old grandaughter loves it! The coaches are great in what they do! They help children gain body strength and support them to feel good about themselves. The size of the facility is sufficient enough for the children's exercise activities.

Both our kids (3 and 5 yo) have been going here for a few months now. The experience is always positive. The coaches are energetic, kind and have so much patience. The classes are fun for the kids while keeping them active and building their strength and confidence. We also had our daughter's birthday party here and it was a wonderful experience!

My son has been going here since the day 1 and he loves it! We love it. Everyone is very helpful. Coaches make sure that every single kid gets attention so no one feels left out. What I love about this program is that kids don’t get reward for participating in class, they understand that they need to earn it.

The worst management, gave me such a hard time for cancellation and had to pay an extra month because “the policy” said you have to cancel 30 days before which when we registered no one mentioned that policy
The facility is so small and not as advertised
A big NO
