Every class is a great mix of challenging and fun, and I’ve noticed such a difference in my strength and flexibility. The studio is always clean and welcoming. I moved from NYC to New Milford and was searching for a Pilates studio that matched the boutique workout classes I was used to taking in the city. I found exactly what I was looking for at Litchfield Hills Pilates. Suzette, the studio owner, is highly knowledgeable in Pilates and offers customized and engaging workouts that are never repetitive or boring. With these personalized sessions, Suzette makes you feel comfortable, allowing you to push your limits and try new activities. Pilates with Suzette is one of the highlights of my week. I was 67 and new to Pilates two years ago when I started and she has been a consistently supportive and fun instructor. Clear in her guidance. Exacting but not rigid, tolerant and focused and a cheerful personable presence . I feel challenged every session to the extent of my strength and abilities. I must also add that I am much much better physical shape because of my weekly sessions with Suzette. She gets my highest recommendation

I came to Litchfield Hills Pilates when I was 7 months postpartum, to regain strength after a c-section. Suzette was very approachable and made all of my sessions both challenging and fun. She always took the time listen and factor in any pain/limitations into my workouts. I highly recommend both her 1:1 sessions and her virtual classes.

I couldn't have found a more perfect person than Suzette, owner of Litchfield Hills Pilates, for Pilates that is tailored just for where you are, and where you want to be! I'm a super-active person, and six months after tearing hamstrings in both legs, herniating a spinal cord disk, and breaking rib, my spinal cord injury specialist told me that I needed to start Pilates as part of my recovery. I had stagnated in my recovery and I was skeptical that Pilates was the answer. Suzette changed that from my first visit. Suzette's private sessions not only use the Pilates Reformer, but also so many other pieces of equipment and practices that ensure every part of your body is worked and strengthened. She is incredibly intuitive and knows exactly the practices to combine to get you the best results. I love it and I never get bored! From using the Reformer, to the MOTR, to rope practices with the Bodhi Suspension System, to barrels and arcs, all sorts of floor work, and other balance, stretching and strengthening work, you have endless ways to strengthen—whether you need that for injury recovery, or just to take your flexibility and strength to another level (and enjoy it!). Suzette also does Barre and other fitness work, and can also recommend other great people to complement your health and fitness (Bryan O'Neill, New Milford Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine; and Inga, New Milford Therapeutic Massage, as just two!). Suzette also has great packages to get you started. So, a long review, but I hope helpful—I really can't say enough good things, and I hope you make an appt for yourself—it will be an act of self care that I'm sure you won't regret!

Suzette is the best teacher I've ever had! After taking reformer classes in the city for over a decade, finding Suzette locally has been huge for my practice. I’ve been working with Suzette for 6yrs+ and she is the best in CT. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the body and is certified in a wide variety of methods. She adapts workouts based on the clients skill level, interests, age and current physical issues. Shes fun, versatile and constantly challenges my mind and body with new exercises and techniques. I’m a former dancer and longtime pilates devotee and I’ve taken classes all over the tristate area (NYC based) but i ALWAYS return to Suzette because of her expertise and kindness. I can’t recommend Litchfield Hills Pilates enough. Do yourself a favor and sign up for a session ASAP!

I always look forward to Suzette's group classes which I have been doing for several years now. She has a great way of challenging me and doing a different routine each and every time. Our muscles never know what to expect which keeps it interesting! Whether it is Pilates Barre, Ball, Matt or Yoga she is very creative and helps me keep in shape both physically and mentally . Suzette is amazing!! I am new to Pilates this summer, and I am now addicted. It makes me feel and look phenomenal. Suzette has the perfect mix of expertise, patience, and calm. She is consistently mixing up the routine so I am never bored. She targets all the right areas of my body and hits head on trouble spots or areas that are overused from running or lifting. I have been taking Pilates and yoga classes from Suzette for 5 years, both in person in the MB studio and by zoom during Covid. Each class mixes things up so you never feel bored. Muscle groups get addressed through various targeted exercises done in a series. Suzette uses standard props and some ingenious household items. She will give modifications if you have back or knee issues as well as more challenging moves if you don’t. The time passes very quickly and you fell stretched and toned by the end of the hour. She has been a godsend during these challenging sheltering at home days.
